Central Air A-C DraftShields® 14"x14" Cover

Central Air A-C DraftShields® 14'x14' CoverI bought 7 Battic Door draft shields and found them easy to install over central air conditioning grills. An Energy Audit team pointed out this product as a "low-hanging fruit" in my efforts to make my house more energy efficient. In cool weather, it makes sense not to let heat go up into the attic, and also to prevent cold from falling down through these "holes." Since I also had additional insulation and air sealing done in the attic, I don't know the specific effect of just the draft shields, but on cool spring days and nights, the furnace no longer comes on. I will be removing these draft shields now that it is air conditioning season, and will store them to re-install next fall when it stays cool again. Because they are clear plastic and fit snugly over the grills, they are hardly noticeable.Central Air A-C DraftShields® 12"x12" Cover

I bought these and had to return them. The product is perfectly fine, but if your vents are too close to the wall

you can't get them on. These covers have a lip and the lip part won't fit if your vent is close to the edge of the wall. I wish this had not happened because i really need these.

I purchased this product to prevent cold air from blowing directly onto one of my employees. The assembly and installation took less than 1 minute, and my employee is much more comfortable as a result. The vent cover can be removed easily once the weather turns colder and we swich from A/C to heat. It blends in well with the ceiling, and has been worth the investment.

Kitchener Triple Basket Deep Fryer

Kitchener Triple Basket Deep FryerI originally purchased another grill that I returned because it was too small.I began my search again and I read the review and purchased this fryer. It was the perfect size for my needs. It was simple to use and just the right size. It was easy to assemble. I cooked fish and fries for about 5 hours without incident. I practiced the day before to make sure I had a feel for the temperature. This fryer is great and I'm glad I took a leap of faith. This is a great product for the money. It's sturdy and professional looking which is important when your trying to raise money for your church.

i like it because you can fry three different items at the same time and it a good outdoor fryer to have. It is also easily transportable so you can take where ever you want to

The Kitchener Triple Basket Deep Fryer is beautiful just to look at. However 10 to 15 mph winds play havoc with the gas burners. Oklahoma on a calm day has 10 to 20 mph winds, A simple mod for a wind deflector fixed the flame problem. The unit is sturdy and a joy to operate. The twin oil cookers hold over 5 gal of oil, and that is plenty for a back yard fish fry. We cooked french fry's, hush puppies, and catfish at the same time thanks to the three basket design. For the money its well worth it. Should give years of service if properly maintanrd and protected.

We used this for our BBQ concessions for a recent event and it performed well above and beyond our expectations. We will be making some modifications: (1) will be a wind break and (2) will be a lid. It began to rain in the middle of the event. Rain and hot oil do NOT mix, but for every other need, this was a excellent product.

Soleus Air 10" High Velocity Wall Mount/Table Fan

Soleus Air 10' High Velocity Wall Mount/Table FanThis fan is whisper quiet, even at the highest speed. The tilt function is useful -it tilts at a 45-degree angle, so it's necessary to reposition the entire fan as to direction once you have it tilted to aim it where you want the air to go.

The rotating grille, at first, looks symmetrical. On closer inspection, each successive louver changes angle as they move around the circle of the grille. Thus, when you turn the grille rotation feature on, the air sweeps in a wide conical pattern as it moves away from the fan. If you want the air to go in a particular direction, you can leave the grille rotation switch in the off position and rotate the grille by hand until the air is blowing in the direction you want.

I actually use the two-hour timer feature a lot. The exhaust fan in my bathroom is ineffective, so when I shower, I leave the door open and have a fan blowing into the bathroom so that moisture doesn't cling to the walls and cause mildew. After the shower, I keep the fan on for two hours to make sure the entire bathroom dries out. My tile stays mildew-free a lot longer when I do this. I can leave for work with the fan running.

During a heat wave, when it cools off at night as it does here, I set the fan in my window, up against the screen, to bring cool air inside. At bedtime, if it's still a few degrees too warm, I keep the fan on and use the 2-hour timer so it doesn't stay on all night.

This is the quietest fan I've ever owned, though not the most powerful. It's great for smaller rooms, especially the bedroom at night when it's warm. The timer is absolutely quiet. (If you happen to get one that ticks loudly as another reviewer did, it's defective and you should exchange it for another one.)

One other nice thing is that you can mount this fan on a wall or on a door jamb, high up and out of the way. There are a couple of key-hole shaped screw holes in the bottom of the feet to accept mounting screws. Very useful if you have a situation where you need the fan in a permanent place and you want it out of the way -I'm going to mount it on the wall just outside my bathroom for just this reason and buy a second one for the living room, to use on the window sill.

I'm very puzzeled by another poster's comments about the "ticking timer". With the timer dial turned fully counter-clockwise (marked 'ON', meaning constant running/no timer), the spring in the mechanical timer runs out of steam after maybe 15 minutes and the fan is one of the quietest I've ever had.

I originally bought this fan because of the wall-mounting feature, which I needed to equalize the air conditioning in my home. I planned to mount it in a doorway. Before I had time to hang it, I stuck it on top of the TV at the foot of my bed and it hasn't moved since!!! The rotating grill gives a nice, gentle, cool breeze every 30-45 seconds. Love it!

I could do without all the plastic, but this fan did hard time last summer and hasn't let me down this season. It needs a serious vacuuming, frankly.

Other fans from this manufacturer appear kinda cheezy, but the FTY-25 is a winner.

Buy Soleus Air 10" High Velocity Wall Mount/Table Fan Now

Lets get the obvious out of the way, this is a really nice looking little fan. Especially for the price. It also can be used as a conversation piece since some people haven't seen the oscillating fans like this one that don't actually move, except for the inner circle.

So far so good. The timer works, but I've only used it one time, mainly to see if it works.

Now for some bad news. I bought a total of 3 of these. One for a bedroom, one for my office and one for our kitchen.

I bought these all around 12-14 months ago. As of right now, 1 still works, the other two won't even turn on. For more bad news, the inner circle that oscillates can and will become noisy after awhile. It is kind of a rattling/loose piece sound.

Another frustrating part about the design is that the on/off switch is on the right side. I have the one that works beside my bed, which is on the left side of the fan, and there is no way I can reverse the bed just to work with the fan.

Whatever happened to putting the power switch on the front of the fan in the middle?

When these fans work, they are very nice for the price. Even on the low setting, there is plenty of air being produced. Just be forewarned that you may be buying new ones once a year, as they do not seem to hold up very well. I didn't even use them in a way that could lead to damage. One is on a nightstand, one was on a kitchen counter and one was on a desk in my office. Never moved them, once in place.

I still give it a 3 because I think it is common these days for fans to tear up around a year after buying them. I'm not willing to buy the more expensive ones to see if it is a case of, "You get what you paid for". I'm sitting on the fence on whether to recommend this fan.

Read Best Reviews of Soleus Air 10" High Velocity Wall Mount/Table Fan Here

The Soleus FTY-25 is a quiet fan with a noisy timer.

We use fans at night to create a soft breath of air as we go to sleep. For this purpose, "quiet" is good. We live in the country and the natural sounds are pleasant and actually reassuring. "White noise" is unneeded.

Except for the timer, the Soleus is a good, quiet solution. The timer makes a fast ticking noise like some older kitchen timers.

A complete explanation of the Soleus controls and operation is surprisingly wordy. I'll try to cut it short...

The timer is mechanical. Once the timer dial is turned, the mechanism will tick for the maximum period that it was turned to, even if turned off in the meantime. In other words, if the dial is moved to the 2 hours position and then immediately moved back to "off" (even unplugged), then when the fan is turned back on the next day (even to just the untimed "on" position), it is going to tick for 2 hours.

The Soleus can be made to operate quietly. Just never move the timer dial to a timed-setting position.

Since we don't care about a timer when we are awake and can't use it to go to sleep, we taped the timer to the "on" position. With the timer dial in the "on" position, the fan can be turned off and on with the Fan Speed Switch, which has an "off" position, or with a quiet external electronic timer.

For those who want a smallish fan that moves a lot of air, the Vornado 550B moves more air. Unfortunately, the 550B has a variable speed controller that hums like an old fluorescent light, which makes it unacceptable to those who want a truly quiet low-speed fan.

Want Soleus Air 10" High Velocity Wall Mount/Table Fan Discount?

I decided to go without air conditioning this summer (money was a factor, but the main factor was that air conditioning fouls our common atmosphere while raising the outdoor temperature for everybody outside the cool cocoon). So I needed more fan coverage. I bought this Soleus on the basis of the very good user reviews and the low cost. What I got exceeded my expectations. I love the unique asymmetric design, with the key controls in front (most fans have them in the back). The fan stands on feet that look like seaplane pontoons. The grill has a beautiful oscillating pattern (but watch out, it can be hypnotizing). Functionally, it's very clever that only the grill oscillates, rather than the entire fan. Overall a very pleasing retro aerodynamic design. Then there is the silence. I own several fans, and this one is by far the quietest. A Vornado desk fan I have is far noisier, much more expensive, and it doesn't oscillate. The timer is a good, though by no means essential, feature; and it is not at all noisy, as one user says. And the price is surprisingly low. I would gladly have paid twice as much.

Paderno World Cuisine 18.5 Inch Polished Carbon Steel Paella Pan

Paderno World Cuisine 18.5 Inch Polished Carbon Steel Paella PanFor his 16th birthday, my son asked me if we could serve paella at his birthday party to his friends.

I said yes, except for one thing, the list of guests between friends and family went up to about 24 people, and I only have a paella pan which only serves 10. One paella pan was not going to do the job for this birthday dinner. So I scramble online in search of an additional pan to be able to make enough paella for everyone. This new paella pan I bought is much better that the one I've had for years, and it did the job wonderfully. The paella cooked well and displayed beautifully. The pan size is just perfect to serve 12 people or more, you can cook about 4 to 5 cups of rice easily, along with all your vegetables, party size chicken drumsticks, pork, shrimp and mussels. It all fits great! Everyone enjoyed dinner and I was a happy camper. :-)

I highly recommend this product.

Have fun making your paella and enjoy your new paella pan if you decide to buy it.

This pan cuts the mustard test. It's been used on weber bbq grills and my home range. The paella that I make consists of 25+ ingredients and is intended to feed a voracious audience.

I bought this knowing well that my friends may have high standards. That's fine with me. Paella should be celebrated amongst friends and strangers.

I've used this pan sparingly, since the size is so darn big. But, I recommend it if your entertaining a lot of guests and expect a few others to bring some extra dishes for others to munch on while this is being prepared.

One thing to note when feeding an army. Cut your protein in smaller 'bite' size pieces and let all your fatty goodness/meats do their thing.

Here's a list of standard paella ingredients.

Oil/Butter, onion, peppers, garlic, roasted Peppers, tomatoes (use cheese graters), roasted peppers, string beans, pimenton, paprika, chorizo (thinner is better), chicken, fish, clams, muscles, shrimp, scallops, (if fancy, lobster, prawns, jumbo shrimp) parsley, salt, pepper, clam juice, broth (cheaper to use the stuff in cubes/base vs. cartons), saffron (use pestel and mortar), lemon and alioli.

Expect longer cook times if using medley of seafood from frozen.

Expect hungry guests if the expectation is known that paella is on the menu. Watch Alton Brown and youtube clips of how traditional paella is made and as Chef John (food wishes) closes each video, 'ENJOY".

Made with love and prepped primarily the day before saves a lot of energy when the dish comes together.

P.s. Pass on 'seasoning' the pan. I wash and store when not used because I'm making this dish twice a year at most.

I love this paella pan. It's got plenty of room and handles heat evenly. Very sturdy on the stove top and even fits in the oven. Keep in mind it's 18.5 inches. My first thought was that I could fit a hippo in it! If you would like a smaller pan, they are out there, but since I am cooking for a crowd or for the week, I love the larger size.

This is a beautiful pan. Be aware that the pan will rust if you don't season it with oil. It works beautifully on top of an electric stove, conducting the heat very well. This is a very large pan and may not fit in smaller ovens. For sure it does not fit in a 30inch oven.

Grillex US-10 Indoor Brazilian Portable Barbecue Grill

Grillex US-10 Indoor Brazilian Portable Barbecue GrillThis grilling device is everything the product description says and more! I bought it thinking I can make churrasco, but I've since made chicken tikka, Middle Eastern lamb kabobs and more. Everything so far has come out very tender and moist, and best of all, the cleanup is a breeze--no splatter at all! Anticipating that I'd probably need more than the 5 skewers provided, I ordered an extra set of 4 when placing my original order. Turned out it was a smart move on my part, very proud of myself! This piece of cooking equipment is definitely more than just a curious gadget, I will be using it over and over again, for sure.

I purchased this back in April and it sat in a box until July, when I used it for the first time. I didn't have high hopes for it but I thought, "What the heck. Let's see what it does."

Since I dine at Brazilian Churrascaria restaurants (Fogo de Chao, Espetus), I decided to do the traditional Picanha, with the salt-garlic brine. I cut each piece to be around 2" x 5" x 1" and fold each piece to a "C" shape. Each skewer can fit 3 to 4 pieces. Shewer the meat so that the flat side is parallel with "C" shape --it makes it easier to slice later on.

Here's what I did:

After washing all the parts the first time, assemble the grill and place it on your biggest burner. Turn the heat on high (for beef). Make sure you put in 2 cups of water. Brush the brine on the beef and lower the skewers in. Place the skewers in with the "C" shape side facing the center. Rotate 180 once it's brown. Serve when both sides are golden brown.

When you slice off the cooked pieces on each side. The center should still be rare. Brush more brine on and put the skewers back in.

Result:

"Amazing!" is the first response from my taste tester. It tastes great! Nice smokey taste --must be from the fat drippings.

Did not produce too much smoke --I had the fan on low but didn't see any smoke come out. The house only had a slight food smell.

Easy to set up. Okay to clean up --it's like cleaning up a couple of pots but it wasn't any harder than that.

Looking to do lamb and shrimp (in addition to beef) next time.

Buy Grillex US-10 Indoor Brazilian Portable Barbecue Grill Now

I LOVE to eat and I LOVE my local Brazilian churrascaria steakhouses nearby, but times are tough and I need to stop indulging. I have to admit, I bought this Grillex Indoor Brazilian BBQ grill on an empty stomach dreaming of all the scrumptious meat I'd be able to partake of at any hour of the day. When it arrived and I set it up, truly my eyes were bigger than my stomach.

This product comes with 5 skewers, a basket accessory and a double prong skewer along with the stove-top apparatus; but to be honest, I've only used the 5 skewers and even that is too much food. I started by grilling 3 skewers of meat and 2 with vegetables. But of late, I find myself grilling 2 skewers of vegetables au natural with just salt and pepper and one skewer of meat and I find myself satisfied. I've left marinating meat and vegetables and just cooking them from raw to roasted with minimal seasoning.

Darn if I didn't lose 5 pounds in 1 week (In the interest of full disclosure: I made a pact with myself now to only eat meat for dinner; Breakfast and Lunch mostly consists of coffee, oatmeal, eggs, potatoes, soup & salads(sometimes with but mostly without chicken/beef/bacon depending on my craving at the moment of truth).

I experimented with making Armenian Beef Lula kabobs along with the vegetable skewers and they came out great on the first try! It's given me the confidence to try my hand at making Tzatziki (Cucumber Yogurt Dip) and Armenian rice pilaf to go along with the skewered goodness!

If and when I lose 20 lbs. with the help of this product, I'm treating myself to a Brazilian Steakhouse Dinner night out. I'll do it again if I drop the full 50 lbs. I'm ultimately trying to lose. I may even post my weight loss updates in the future. Hope this helps!

First night with the Grillex was way better than expected. It's much easier than I thought and the recipe times are spot on.

I made the following:

Marinated chicken strips (sliced thin and then overnight marinated in Newman's Sesame Ginger.) Skewered up. 8 minutes over medium plus heat and then rotated. Best, most tender chicken ever.

Pork loin. Marinated. (Basque sauce) Sliced and skewered. 10 minutes, rotated then like 8 minutes. Amazing!

Salmon in the cage. Lemon pepper and rosemary. Forgot the times but again, prepped perfectly.

Pros:

Easy to use. SUPER easy to clean. SUPER GOOD FOOD!

Cons: I wanted more skewers but it appears I can buy more.

This is a great gift if you or someone you know loves Brazilian BBQ but cant afford Fogo de Chao.

Want Grillex US-10 Indoor Brazilian Portable Barbecue Grill Discount?

I'd give this 3.5 stars if it were an option. I used this thing to grill up some beef, prawns, and scallops. Everything turned out as expected.

Here's the bad part. I think there's a design flaw in that you can't adjust how much air is allowed into the grill. The safety top is to prevent the skewers from falling in to the center, but it can choke off too much air and cut your flame.

Oster CKSTWF40 4-Slice Waffle Maker, Black

Oster CKSTWF40 4-Slice Waffle Maker, BlackThis is an excellent waffle maker, it just works everytime. I like the fact that this machine is a 4 slice. Amazons price as always is $15 less than the rest. Cant go wrong with this. If your looking to make waffles with ease of use and easy cleanup get the oster 4 slice, you wont regret it.

This is a reasonably priced waffle maker that bakes more or less consistently, and is easy to use and clean. There's nothing complex here -no settings or anything like that, you just turn it on and wait for the green light.

I like the square shape and making 4 at a time means we can sit down together to eat, and I can also bake several for the freezer and they fit nicely in the toaster later. I also have had no problems will spilling over the sides -it handles quite a lot of batter. These are all plusses. The only time it was kind of pain to clean was when I added blueberries, and some of them baked to the metal, and that took a little more effort to clean off, but otherwise, just wiping it down with a damp paper towel does the trick.

The only downsides are that sometimes the top of the waffles don't seem to brown as nicely as on the bottom (although the second batch will always seem to come out better than the first), and I noticed a little bit of the black surface coming off on the side of the iron where the cover hits (this after only about 2 uses), but since it is not a spot where food touches, I am not concerned. Also, you may have to check the waffles quite a few times to make sure if they are done or not, but I don't find that a huge drawback.

Overall the waffles have been very nice, and for the price, ease and convenience, as long as more of the black coating doesn't wear off, I am happy with it.

REVIEW UPDATE It has been a couple of months since my waffle maker arrived. At first it worked perectly. Now, after using it maybe 8 times, it's doing the same thing that everyone has complained about...it will not heat up. Our waffles are light, not crispy and not cooked. They won't release from the grids because it's still batter. I find this totally unacceptable and this is going in the junk pile. What an absolute waste of money.

Professional Infrared Thermometer

Professional Infrared ThermometerThis item is everything and more than advertised. I've used mine for everything checking heat vents in my home, temperature in a sun room (160 degrees), stove top, oven, fridge etc.

I can't even sneak it out of my kitchen drawer, for our kitty is hooked on the infrared beam, which makes for a rather expensive cat toy!

I couldn't be more pleased.

This arrived in a plain (completely undecorated) box, and essentially no documentation at all. It works, as far as I can tell, though calibration of the "emissivity" parameter is a mystery. It feels fairly solid, and it's pretty quick to react (a second or less to a temperature readout that's updated about once every half-second while you hold the trigger). Temperature readings seem as accurate as I need them to be off most surfaces shiny stainless steel being an exception (reads way low).

This is the only device of its kind I've ever used, be aware.

Healthy Nonstick Ceramic Coated Frying Pan - 8" Eco Friendly Durable Fry Pan

Healthy Nonstick Ceramic Coated Frying Pan - 8' Eco Friendly Durable Fry PanI chose top rating because the pan does everything for which I bought it. Cooking eggs is a breeze as they do not stick. Clean up is a quick wipe of the pan with a paper towel. The bottom has not discolored or created hot spots. It did not come with a warning about scratching my glass top stove as other ceramic pans do. I would reccommend this pan to anyone who wants these conveniences at a very reasonable price.

I bought this pan after buying the bigger size before christmas. I love them both very little oil is used and nothing seems to stick :-) I am following the directions and hand washing it, and that is probably the only con.

Taylor Connoisseur Dial Grill Thermometer Stainless Steel

Taylor Connoisseur Dial Grill Thermometer Stainless SteelI purchased this item with some gift cards. It is really junk and I am sorry I ever purchased it. After one use it reads only 300 degrees, no more! The needle is exposed and not inside a sealed glass, so there is life span problems from the git-go. The package it comes in makes it appear to have a glass cover. Save your money and buy a useful item for your grill.

The first Taylor grill thermometer we had broke after a few uses. I decided that might have been a fluke, and gave it another try. We've used the new one once, so I can't comment on its longevity. However, although the description clearly states that there's a magnet on the back of the thermometer (and the first one we had DID have a magnet), it won't stick to anything else we have magnets on around the house!

Buy Taylor Connoisseur Dial Grill Thermometer Stainless Steel Now

I leave my thermometers on the BBQ grill start to finish so the glass covered ones just don't work for me as the glass becomes clouded even after 1 use.

This one tells me when the grill is at 550 to sear, and when the indirect heat is at 350. Ultimately the numbers become smoke covered, but even after they are not legible I know the top center is 300 and the top right 400 and it still registers accurately.

I just purchased my 2nd, and it works just as reliably as the 1st.

Bayou Classic Aluminum Lid for 30-Gallon Jambalaya PotGreat combo with the jambalaya pot, the paddle and the banjo burner! I've made boiled crawfish, boiled shrimp and an awesome gumbo with this combo kit. It's also great for chilies, stews and great for frying!

If you buy the Jambalaya pot in any size, you need to buy this lid. It keeps moisture in, keeps foreign objects out. This fits perfectly, is reasonably well-made, is light-weight, and if you need a shield when the Zombie apocalypse happens, this just might save your life (grin).

Want Jambalaya Pot Lids Discount?

I could have swore I reviewed this product back when I bought my 30 gallon Jambalaya Pot. But I guess it disappeared, so for what it is worth here it is again. When I got my 30 gallon Bayou Classic pot it took days of grinding to smooth out the horrid cast surface on the inside of the pot. So I was not surprised when I received this 30 gallon size HUMONGOUS lid and it needed a lot of work.

First, the packaging was a joke, just a square box and a round lid bouncing around inside, not so much as newspaper to keep it from banging around. The lid came out of the pristine box (no shipping damage) looking like a potato chip with four huge dents 90 degrees from each other. It took hours to bend it back into shape.

The handle which was not smooth like the picture, had formed ridges in it and the rivets were not cinched tight, so the handle rocked 15 degrees from side to side.

Now maybe the thickness is good and strong for the smaller sizes, but the thickness on the 30 gallon size is a joke, it's half the thickness of ALL of my 20 gallon pot lids, literally it warps all over the place when it gets hot.

It's a lid, one would think it impossible to have so many problems, luckily I have only one of these to aggravate me for the rest of my life.

Grill Wizard Grill Brush China Brush with Hardwood HandleI have been using this brush on my Weber Stainless Grill grates for many years, and it is by far the most effective I have tried. Beats the bristle-type brushes hands down. Do not confuse this brush with the one by Tool Wizard--that one has a plastic handle that is shorter and can melt. This one is made of wood and stainless steel--excellent! By the way, as far as I know, buying direct from the manufacturer gives you the lowest shipped price--google "Grill Wizard." When I purchased mine I had a lot of questions which the owner/manufacturer (in California) was very prompt and helpful in answering.

Bought a few of these for gifts. These are the best grill brushes I have ever used. Required for grilling.

The Grill Wizard China Brush is the best solution for cleaning grill grates, particularly if combined with a squirt bottle filled with water. The materials used will stand heat and abuse. The hanging strap is sturdy and firmly attached. The wooden handle is comfortable and will not melt if it accidentally contacts hot parts. The dual folded scrubbies clean both the top and sides of the grill grates and the cutting action quickly removes debris, and is far superior to a single scrubbie or wire bristles. This is a quality product that works superbly and is very durable

The following summary gives my experience with many different brushes I own or have tested. The only way to know how they work is to buy and try them. I think I have now tried all the steaming brushes that are available.

I have not tested these brushes, but they are possible alternatives to the Grill Wizard although the scrubber design does not look as good in conforming to the sides of the grate rods.

Hamilton Beach 25451 Indoor Grill with 85-Inch Cooking Surface, Stainless Steel

Hamilton Beach 25451 Indoor Grill with 85-Inch Cooking Surface, Stainless SteelI love this grill and use it all the time. It is compact, easy to store and with the removable disks, easy to clean. The only thing that it lacks which would be helpful is a timer. But for the money, it is well worth it!

I chose this product for the way the top grill fit so that when cooking items of thicker proportions it would adjust unlike those grills on a regular hinge.

I purchased the Hamilton Beach 25451 as a replacement fro my George foreman grill. The George Foreman grill was clumsy and hard to clean. The 25451 works great and is easy to clean due to the grilling surfaces being removable, cleaning is a snap.

Hi, I bought this grill because I was looking for one requiring minimal storage capacity. Not a lot of grill plates, compact, etc. This grills very well and I am pleased in that regard. However, it is supposed to close for upright storage, but the latch on the left side has already broken. The knob on the right side works (but if you crank it too much, the piece the knob is attached to starts to come off the handle) so the thing sort of closes....it's kind of half open on one side because of the latch. Disappointing since this is the main reason I bought this model, and for that reason I gave it two stars (and that is being generous).

I am in love with this! We bought a foreman to replace an old one and when I was doing the prewash thing... the teflon began coming off... I took it back! This one has been holding up beautifully! I use it to make everything from pork chops to cheese burgers to roasted peppers! It is really easy to use! The only problem I had had is if you have something super juicy, like my hamburgers, sometimes the juices will run out the back of the unit, not a lot, but enough where you have to wipe the counter. My foreman was waaaaaay messier though!
