Outset QP47, Plastic Grill Brush (short/9")
EDIT: 5/16/11
I just wanted to add that this unit has been working perfectly for the last few years. I wanted to point out that I use this with the small "Smokey Joe" Weber grill. I do not use this on a full size grill. I think you would want a brush with a longer handle if you were using a full-size grill otherwise you might burn yourself. For my small grill, this brush works just fine. It is comfortable, has great ergonomics, and is built very well.I had this brush for a couple weeks. I have a grill with a strange grant (not bars), and the bristles weren't quite long enough. Also, probably to my own fault, this product sat in a cup of water until it evaporated. At this time, the bristles fell out immediately and an orange rust (I think rust) remained on the brush. You're probably better off getting a brush at the grocery store.

This is a good little brush. my hand gets warm when using it, but not hot enough to burn. Brissles seem to be holding up just fine after a dozen uses.Read Best Reviews of Outset QP47, Plastic Grill Brush (short/9") Here
I've used this for over two years now and it's been the most durable grill brush I've ever had. It still looks good and works fine!Want Outset QP47, Plastic Grill Brush (short/9") Discount?
This is an inexpensive brush that does as advertised. Good quality manufacture, though obviously its plastic not wooden. I didn't think the short handle would be an issue actually it can be a bit uncomfortable on a very hot grill, but especially if I leave it next the grill while it's warming up so that the handle is hot already. So if I don;t do that it's fine.

Cuisinart CNPS-417 Pizza Grilling Pan
Anyway, for further clarification...heat up that grill, slap a pizza on this guy (don't apply too much pressure and push the dough through the holes, rookie mistake) then just slap this bad-boy in that iron cocoon of charcoal/gas heat and enjoy pizza like never before! Just don't hold me responsible for excessive weight gain from and increased amount of pizza+ (it's not just pizza anymore, it's pizza+) in your diet. The nonstick surface also makes for an easy cleanup. (Protip: place on a cutting board or counter-top and put down a layer of cornmeal before adding the dough for even easier cleanup!)
Device seems to double as a mediocre tennis racket, if desperate.Cannot add onto the previous reviews here it works great for making pizzas on the grill however, what I can say is that it is very versatile, in a pinch. In addition to using it for pizza Saturdays, I decided I would try to use it at the beach this weekend instead of taking a skillet all the way down to the BBQ pits. I took this bad boy, unfolded it, layered it with some tinfoil and fried up a few eggs and some bacon on the grill, and it worked wonders. Get creative and who knows what else you can do with this product?

I purchased this at Marshall's for a weekend party. I purchased the dough from Trader Joe's. I fired up my BBQ at the highest temperature. I then cooked the dough for about 10 minutes each side. Once the dough was cooked, I piled one side of the dough with mozzarella, tomatoes, chicken, pesto and garlic. The pizza was a hit at the party. The best thing about the product is that the cooked dough comes off easily, and was the dough was cooked evenly. If I had purchased 2 of these products, I would have had 4 large pizzas in an hour. What is the downside? The pan needs a deep scrubbing since the dough sticks in a few places, but I am not complaining since the pros of the product outweigh the negatives. A thing of beauty, this product. Cooking this pizza on a BBQ probably also reduces the overall heat index in the house during hot summers since it obviates the need for a kitchen oven burning at 400 C or more.Read Best Reviews of Cuisinart CNPS-417 Pizza Grilling Pan Here
Coolest Grill Tool Ever. That and you can take the prongs off to use in your normal convection oven.Fell in love with it on the first shot so I highly recommend this product. No need to spray the pan, bakes any frozen pizza, even one that's a tad too big for it, perfectly. This is a very well designed and ultimately necessary accessory for anyone with a grill. It can be used for pizza, which is its intended use, and that gives a nice char crust in the bottom not as nice as putting the dough directly on the grill, but a heckuva lot easier to manage. I have also use the pan as a vegetable roaster (for things like asparagus, onions and peppers, etc) that one wouldn't want slipping through the grill top, and I discovered that it also fits perfectly in a Brinkman smoker when smoking smaller items. The removable, foldable handle means that it can be put in the grill and then the lid can be closed, and its also compact for storage.

These are great for kids. They can make their own pizza making faces with veggies. It's fun and gets kids to eat healthier. Great also for hot weather as you can put them on the grill. Cooks up quick so they are great when you need a quick meal or snack for kids. Best of all they can make them themselves.Started to use the stones and they almost immediately started to burn and stick to everything even though I placed a layer of corn meal down as suggested.Want Pizzacraft PC0103 7.5" Square Cordierite Mini Baking/Pizza Stones, Set of 4 Discount?

when I rec'd this product, it looked like a fairly well made product. However; the FIRST TIME I used it, it broke ... it would not pick up the grate even once. This is not a large grill . . .it's a fairly small kettle grill like a Weber, but it's STOK brand.I've returned the broken one to Amazon for credit.

First time that I used the product the metal piece that goes through the grate and actually lifts the grate broke off. Unfortunately the first time that I used the product was AFTER the date for no-cost return of the product (by two days). It will be cheaper to look for other alternatives than pay for shipping back and forth.Would not have expected such low quality from a Steven Raichlen product.

It worked fine for handling my 18" cast iron grate while it lasted. The black parts of the handles were painted wood, not bakelite as the product page states; the paint is flaking off pretty badly after only about 6 months. Granted, it has been stored mostly in an outdoor storage bin, seeing the elements for a night or so every once in a while, but I'm still not impressed with how the paint failed to hold up.
The real problem is the spot welds at the base; of the two holding it to the vertical tube, one is burned through the material pretty badly, and the other left hardly more than 3/32" of material connecting the two pieces the latter weld is what broke, but the other one is not far behind. In any case, it's now useless after just one grilling season.
If you're going to buy one, take a look and sanity check all the spot welds while it's still within the amazon return window or buy something else that will hold up.

Chef's Design Single Burner Reversible Grill/Griddle
Compared to the price for grill pans it was a REAL bargain and does the job as well or better because there are no issues of being able to get at the meat to turn it. I would love a bigger one that covers more than one burner!

I use this constantly! I'm not all that into using an outdoor grill, so this is perfect! It's just the right size for 2 4 pieces of chicken, portobello mushrooms, burgers, steaks and it washes up in a snap.Read Best Reviews of Chef's Design Single Burner Reversible Grill/Griddle Here
I bought this on 8/21/08 solely to cook chicken and steak in the COLD Cleveland, Ohio months when I didn't feel like starting my outdoor propane grill this winter (2008-09).I had no idea of it's touted claim of "defrosting foods quickly" until I actually had it in my home and read the brochures in the box. THIS THING IS INCREDIBLE! I kid you not, stuff that would take 6-8 hours to thaw on my counter-top are ready in about an hour(or less!). It's like Magic!!
A helpful-hint: If you want "grill-marks", put it in a 500-degree oven for 10 minutes or so before putting it on your stove-top burner. ...This thing hold a lot of heat!
...I personally like my steak "Mooing" on the inside but with a nice crust of seasoning and/or flesh-cooked about 1/32nd inch on each side. If I have a really 'nice' piece of meat, I've left the grill in the 500-degree over for upwards of 15 minutes before putting it on the stove-top and adding the piece of meat.
You certainly don't need to "pre-heat" it in the oven and you wouldn't want to if you were making say, a pancake or an egg. ...From 'Cold' to stove-top, DO pre-heat for 6-10 minutes at medium-high.
This is the drawback: I actually love the one I got so I wanted to buy another one! I originally paid $13.26 on 8/21/08 for this wonderful thing. --It's a little more than a month later, 9/30/08, and the price has more than doubled to $32.32!
It's NOT worth $30+ but it is worth $15. If it's 'On Sale' for $15 or less, BUY IT! You won't regret it if for nothing else than it's Quick-Defrost Magic!!
Blessings,

I came back to the US from living abroad and I had to buy everything for my home, starting from scratch. I bought a set of pans that have disappointed me, so I began looking for a new fry pan, at least. I looked at skillets, electric skillets and fry pans of all makes and models. I have so many electric things that I have to store away! I really didn't want one more. I took a chance with this single burner grill/griddle and I absolutely love it. I leave it on the stove always. I do spray it before using. One time I forgot and made steak kabobs. Usually a quick rinse will get the goop off. This time it was more difficult. So, I put it back on the burner, poured a little water on it, brought it to a sizzle and the crust came right off! If I had been the designer, I would have added a small handle. Love this product and use it daily!Friday, January 3, 2014

Patty Caddy Hamburger Paddy Maker By Progressive International
PRO'S
Stores neatly & dishwasher safe that's it.
CON'S
Makes burgers too big the diameter of the cylinder is over 4.5". If you're using lean ground beef or turkey, they'll end up bigger than most hamburger rolls.
If you remove the patties from the cylinder and freeze them with the dividers in place, it's very difficult to separate the burger from the divider.
The split cylinder can be tricky to assemble and disassemble.
There are better presses out there. I'm giving this one away.I had the same problem with the patties sticking to the plastic when frozen, and the two half's, not wanting to come apart when cold, but the very simple fix was to spray the inside and parts that slide with Pam. now the burgers come out easy when frozen and it comes apart very easily. Also, I do not store my burgers in the unit. I make them and freeze them, then put them in a gallon freezer bag. I find they keep much longer this way. Up to 6 months.

A great way to have hamburgers ready to go-and not have either a big pkg. of frozen hamburger to deal with or a pkg. of hamburger that has gone bad in the fridge because you didn't freeze it.It's a good product, stores away conveniently until next use, and easy to use. It came quickly and I would buy from this seller again.Read Best Reviews of Patty Caddy Hamburger Paddy Maker By Progressive International Here
This seems like a good idea in theory, but doesn't work in reality. The meat sticks to the hard plastic in the freezer, making it nearly impossible to get the patties out of the container. If the discs were made of flexible plastic (like the top), this would work.Want Patty Caddy Hamburger Paddy Maker By Progressive International Discount?
I love this thing. I really don't understand the negative reviews it got. Honestly, if you are worried about a piece of frozen meat getting stuck to plastic, put it in between wax paper! That's what I did to keep the meat from sticking, because that's what frozen things do, they stick to things.I like how compact it is and I always feel so high tech using it. I don't think the patties are all that big, who wants a tiny burger anyway? I like the fact it squashes them the way it does because I get an even burger instead of a weird shaped one that doesn't fill the bun.

Emeril by T-fal CB6530003 Gourmet Griller with Removable Nonstick Die-Cast Aluminum Grill Plate, Si
PROS:
I've had it for a month now, and I feel it is about time I reviewed it. This grill has lived up to my every expectation. It reaches much higher than the temperatures I require to cook and it provides a very evenly heated surface. The non-stick surface makes it very easy to clean by either a sponge and warm soap water, or even a trip in the dishwasher when I am feeling lazy. Again, I can't say it enough, this grill cooks beautifully.
CONS:
Not very many, mostly my OCD nature. However, this grill is not perfect down to a T. The grill does not drain as easily as I would like, only a small problem, and only when I decide to pour most of my marinade on the grill. The Drip tray also leaves a bit to be desired. The worst thing I can say about this grill is the touchiness of the controls. It is not a continuous dial, and therefore you reach certain levels of heat as you "click" through. At some points while cooking you find a level too great of a difference, the only solution would be to purchase a gas grill, but you won't catch me outdoors grilling in the snow.
Overall a GREAT grill, worth every penny. If I needed another grill, I wouldn't dream of purchasing anything different. Especially when compared to the train-wreck of the Sanyo I had before.Great grill. I use it indoors for meats and vegetables. It works perfectly and being able to wash the grill in the dishwasher is an added bonus. Mine looks as good as the day it was delivered. This is no mess, easy to use and easy to clean...if you want that grilled taste this works well...no smoke in the house either...I purchased this for my daughter's b-day. She has used it quite a bit, and she informs me that its the best b-day gift ever.
