Pampered Chef Large Round Pizza Stone

I read the reviews and needed to comment on the person that used their stone directly on their BBQ. The stone is not intended to be used on direct heat sources such as a BBQ or a stove top or under a broiler. The temperature of 600 to 650 degrees is much too hot for the stone to handle. It is meant for pizza in the oven which goes up to 450 degrees. 500 degrees and higher is considered broiling. Obviously, with such abuse the stone would crack and could cause serious injury. Pampered Chef stones are guaranteed for three years and should never be used washed with soap or in the dishwasher. Soap would be retained in the clay material and so the stone will be ruined. I have had my stoneware for years and simply soak it in hot water in the sink with no soap and use the nylon scraper included with each stone to help remove baked on food. None of my stones have ever cracked or exploded and all look brand new as the day I purchased them. Also important, the first time you use the stone grease it throughly and in this way it will become seasoned and nonstick so food will continue to be easy to remove by simply soaking in hot water and using the nylon scraper to remove any baked on food. I give this stone 5 stars.

I purchased this item about a year ago. Since then, I've made everything from pizza to cookies, to crossants, to whatever won't spill over, lol! It bakes up everything nice and crisp and without a burn even if I did let it go over a couple of minutes in the oven while tending to life. After you season them, they become stick-free and it doesn't take that long either. I usually season mine with those buttery dinner rolls you get in the refrigerator aisle at the store. I just spread them out and the kids have these buttery flat crispy bread that they like to put jam on :)

I've recently bought the deep dish baker and love baking chicken and pork chops in it. I'm really excited about the new covered baker that I waiting to arrive :) I love Pampered Chef Stoneware.

I bought one of these stones from a former PC consultant. I use it for everything and it works great. Using it for just pizza is a waste. Try cookies, chicken, fish, biscuits, croissants, appetizers, and so much more. Anything that can go in the oven without it leaking over the side can be cooked or reheated on one of these stones. I heard they were discontinued, but that's okay, since I've had mine for three years and it is still going strong. I like the new one with the handles built into the stone, so that will be my next purchase.

When I received the grill, it had a spot that was rusting; I could not send it back because I was expecting company that day and we needed to use it. I am worry because rust will continue to deteriorate the grill and it will not last very as long as it should.

I just cleaned my shower with the eraser yesterday and it was actually _fun_. I got gunk off that I never thought I would. I had to scrub hard in some places, but the job it did was really incredible. I had some soap residue on one part of the shower and I thought the sponge wasn't working on it; I turned it over and realized it had just _picked up_ all the gunk onto itself, and all I had to do was rinse it off. And not only did it clean the other dirt, it made it flake off so it was easy to brush away and down the drain, just as advertised. You can use them for a long time as well: two of them (one box) cleaned the entire shower: three walls and basin. And when I give something a once-over, I'm confident it's actually clean.

If you haven't tried this product, do. It will save you the two most valuable commodities of time and energy. But remember, buy a lifetime supply, 'cause they're so good they'll probably be discontinued within a year.

Wow. Just, wow. I dyed my hair black months ago and even though I was very careful, the dye stained part of the white (yikes!) plastic tub in my apartment. I went online and did some research and found this.

I will admit, I was skeptical that this would even work. But after gently scrubbing for around three minutes, one of the largest, most obvious stains was totally gone!

Makes burgers too big the diameter of the cylinder is over 4.5". If you're using lean ground beef or turkey, they'll end up bigger than most hamburger rolls.

If you remove the patties from the cylinder and freeze them with the dividers in place, it's very difficult to separate the burger from the divider.

The split cylinder can be tricky to assemble and disassemble.

There are better presses out there. I'm giving this one away.

I had the same problem with the patties sticking to the plastic when frozen, and the two half's, not wanting to come apart when cold, but the very simple fix was to spray the inside and parts that slide with Pam. now the burgers come out easy when frozen and it comes apart very easily. Also, I do not store my burgers in the unit. I make them and freeze them, then put them in a gallon freezer bag. I find they keep much longer this way. Up to 6 months.

This seems like a good idea in theory, but doesn't work in reality. The meat sticks to the hard plastic in the freezer, making it nearly impossible to get the patties out of the container. If the discs were made of flexible plastic (like the top), this would work.

I love this thing. I really don't understand the negative reviews it got. Honestly, if you are worried about a piece of frozen meat getting stuck to plastic, put it in between wax paper! That's what I did to keep the meat from sticking, because that's what frozen things do, they stick to things.

I like how compact it is and I always feel so high tech using it. I don't think the patties are all that big, who wants a tiny burger anyway? I like the fact it squashes them the way it does because I get an even burger instead of a weird shaped one that doesn't fill the bun.

I bought these because they are much more course and durable than the scrub pads found in your typical grocery stores. I use the one I bought in conjunction with some Klean-Strip KS-3 Paint Stripper to remove the (very) tough, baked on, paint from my 1954 Chevrolet 3100 pickup. It works fabulously! Because of how course these pads are far less likely to get all clogged up. When they start to get clogged I only have to dunk it in a bucket of water and whack it against the inside of the bucket and I am ready to go again. If I need more I will definitely get more. thanks for the great product.

MLB Boston Red Sox 8 Piece BBQ Set

The set is really nice, sturdy metal utencils. My only issue is that the four skewers that come with it aren't really ang use as they have plastic on the top and bottom of the handles. We got really excited to make shiskabobs and within minutes the plastic was melted and useless. I dont know WHY they would have plastic for a grill skewer! We had to throw them out! So, all the other pieces are nice but it is really a 4 piece grill set for the same money. Oh, and being that this is the first time we've owned a grill, I reccommend getting a silicone basting brush instead of the one that comes with it... a pain to clean oil out of, and some of the bristles melted... so let me rephrase that.. its more like a 3 1/2 piece set.

American 11.75" Grill Pan

I love Staub and LeCreuset. I chose the Staub grill pan over the other because it was a tad bigger in size. It is GREAT for grilling meats to get those nice sear marks. You can use it inside the oven for a braise. Staub is well made and will last forever. It can be a little tough to clean up sometimes but I just allow it to soak in a little warm water and use a non-scratch pad for touch areas.

I would like to add that for practicality purposes -I must confess that I really haven't used this pan as much as I thought I would after owning if for approx 9 months. I find myself reaching for the cast iron skillet to sear meats in order to sear all of it -and popping in the oven to finish off if needed. If I want grill marks, I'll use the gas grill outside. This is just a personal preference and is by no means meant to dishonor the fine quality product that the Staub grill pan is. I would have bought a cast iron Staub skillet if I didn't already have a similar product.

Staub makes top quality skillets and grill pans and you can't go wrong with them. Yes, they are expensive so make sure you will use them!!

Upon using this one time, the enamel cracked. It's really too bad because it sears very nicely and was moderately easy to clean compared to other cast iron enameled grill pans

I purchased the enameled cast-iron pan with great expectations. The first time I used it, on an electric stove, I heard a loud *crack* three times. The enamel had split. I returned the pan to the embarrassed shop.

The first time I used the replacement, another loud *crack* and another split enamel. I'm returning it yet again, and will not get another. Too bad, because the food grilled up great.

Also, the handles are NOT removable.
