Outset QP47, Plastic Grill Brush (short/9")

Outset QP47, Plastic Grill BrushI was very surprised at the quality of this item considering the price. The plastic is very sturdy...not some cheap plastic. The unit feels good in your hands. This is an excellent value for the price.

EDIT: 5/16/11

I just wanted to add that this unit has been working perfectly for the last few years. I wanted to point out that I use this with the small "Smokey Joe" Weber grill. I do not use this on a full size grill. I think you would want a brush with a longer handle if you were using a full-size grill otherwise you might burn yourself. For my small grill, this brush works just fine. It is comfortable, has great ergonomics, and is built very well.

I had this brush for a couple weeks. I have a grill with a strange grant (not bars), and the bristles weren't quite long enough. Also, probably to my own fault, this product sat in a cup of water until it evaporated. At this time, the bristles fell out immediately and an orange rust (I think rust) remained on the brush. You're probably better off getting a brush at the grocery store.

This is a good little brush. my hand gets warm when using it, but not hot enough to burn. Brissles seem to be holding up just fine after a dozen uses.

I've used this for over two years now and it's been the most durable grill brush I've ever had. It still looks good and works fine!

Want Outset QP47, Plastic Grill Brush (short/9") Discount?

This is an inexpensive brush that does as advertised. Good quality manufacture, though obviously its plastic not wooden. I didn't think the short handle would be an issue actually it can be a bit uncomfortable on a very hot grill, but especially if I leave it next the grill while it's warming up so that the handle is hot already.

So if I don;t do that it's fine.

Cal Flame BBQ07868P 2 Drawer Storage Deep Drawer

Cal Flame BBQ07868P 2 Drawer Storage Deep DrawerI purchased these for my outdoor kitchen, Amazon had the best price and it seemed reasonable compared to other brands I had not bought Cal Flame products before. The drawers are smooth and sturdy the finish is like all the other SS appliances that are made for outdoor use. This is not a top of the line unit, the seams are not welded like the more expensive ones everything is riveted together. I got what I paid for so I'm reasonable pleased.

Weber 121020 Go-Anywhere Charcoal Grill

Weber 121020 Go-Anywhere Charcoal GrillMy first "Go-Anywhere Weber Grill," purchased in 1984, sold me on design and efficiency. After cooking my dinner, I'd shut the side and top air vents thus suffocating the fire. I found I could get two, three, and sometimes four meals from a single load of charcoal (depending on cooking times). And, on picnics, the fire would be out and the grill "touchable" after about 15 minutes. The grill is large enough to handle most meals for say 6 to 8 persons and even small (4-6 lb) chickens, but if you're cooking turkey, this isn't the grill for you. I'm now on my second "G-A" grill, as the first bounced around the world with me in Korea, Yemen, China, and the U.S. until the movers crushed it in 1993. Ended up contacting Weber directly when I couldn't find a replacement locally, and number 2 is in good shape after 8 years of rigorous use.

Hi there, I've just recently purchased this grill and have used it 2 times already. I can honestly say that this grill has exceeded my expectations! It is well built, and folds up very compactly for storage. It (like all Weber products) cooks very evenly, and refuses to flare up. The air dampers are easy to operate, and the porcelin coating will ensure many years of use. You will also be suprised at how much food you can cook on it. (I have 5 kids, and the grill is still hot when we've eaten our full) We enjoy it, and I'm sure you will too!

Buy Weber 121020 Go-Anywhere Charcoal Grill Now

This is a well-designed small scale charcoal grill. I generally use it when I only want to cook for one or two people or when portability matters.

I've had my Go-Anywhere charcoal grill for about three years, and it has held up extremely well. The durable exterior coating is very resistent to the elements (and it's small enough that you could easily let it cool down and chuck it into a closet if you want to keep it indoors). The only thing that has really shown any significant wear is the grill grate, but these are easily replacable (and, in the long run, all grates give out eventually).

The grill has four air vents (two top mounted exhaust vents, and two vents mounted along the bottom sides). Opening all four vents allows enough oxygen flow for medium temperature cooking. Closing all four vents will suffocate a fire pretty quickly. Cooking with the lid off and the bottom vents open will net you a hot fire that will be great for searing.

Additionally, the lid can be "rockered" back onto the body of the grill. This means that you don't have to look around for someplace to put a potentially very hot piece of metal *and* you can use it as a windshield if you want.

If you like charcoal cooking and you either want a small grill or you need a portable grill, I would highly recommend this product.

My grate just died after about 10 years of heavy use. Rather then buy a replacement grate, I wasn't thinking and just purchased a whole new portable grill. The next day I purchased a replacement grate online from the weber folks and that transaction was very smooth as has always been the case with Amazon. So now I have two functioning portable grills. It seems to me that the food sits closer to the charcoal on this then it does full sized grills, so heat has never been an issue with mine, although the charcoal may loose it's heat a little faster as you can't really make a pile of charcoal or stack the brickets very much. I actually think it is easier to burn things on this grill then others, and learning how to use the vents to control heat is something you will need to do. Honestly though, this is the only grill I have any real experience with and I love the portability and often wrap it in a trash bag and take it to state parks for 'eating out'.

My only complaint is they have changed the handles to plastic on the new models which now require mits to handle during the process. The old model had wood handles and I never needed a mit to take the cover off and check my food.

Want Weber 121020 Go-Anywhere Charcoal Grill Discount?

A good charcoal grill for when you need portability. I recently bought a Smokey Joe Silver and cooked side-by-side with my Go-Anywhere, and this grill is definitely more convenient for camping trips and other excursions. Both are good quality, as you'd expect with a Weber, but the Go-Anywhere has a lot more control for vents and packs up better for travel. It also has the prongs so I can hang the hot grill cover off the side, and the Smokey Joe Silver does not. Capacity on this grill is about six burgers, or three to four steaks (depending on size).

For those who say they prefer a cheaper portable grill to the Weber... I did exactly that, and junked the cheap, rusting-out grill after one year in favor of the Weber, which I expect to last for years. Weber is quality that I'm willing to pay more for. My only complaint, as another reviewer noted, is the plastic handles.

George Foreman GRV120 120-Inch Nonstick Countertop Grill

George Foreman GRV120 120-Inch Nonstick Countertop GrillHave already owned one of these. A GRV 160. Had to replace it with this smaller version. No better indoor meat griller on the market. Only cons are that the griddles won"t come off for cleaning. It still does clean up well with the non-stick surface, just don"t wait till it cools. Six large burger maximum on this unit.

FreshVac Petpac Pet Food Storage and Bowls

FreshVac PT1-100 Petpac Pet Food Storage and Bowls, Small, BlackI bought this just to get the FreshVac containers since these are not made anymore. It has one large and 3 small FreshVac containers, but the 3 small containers only have 1 lid. I guess most would use 2 of the containers as food/water bowls. The storage bag is made of a lightweight insulated material that is separated into 2 compartments (the top compartment is further divided into 3 areas) to keep items separate and cold or hot, and comes with a built-in shoulder strap. Not a bad little setup for pets, but would also work for simple picnics for 2-3 people.

Koolatron TCG-08Total Chef 4 in 1 Grill**EDIT: My first review I gave it five stars b/c it worked great for a few weeks. I can't change the stars to one now, so I will just update my review summary. After about a month of use, we discovered the coating must not be that high of quality on the plates. I had major peeling off on the grill plates while making a panini. I contacted Koolatron and they sent replacement plates after I emailed them a copy of my receipt. However the replacement plates peeled again after a couple uses. Then the grand finale, THE MACHINE DIED ONE YEAR AFTER PURCHASE. Piece of junk.

I used this item 5x. it stopped working I had to send it back.

As has been mentioned in a previous review, the non-stick coating flakes off after a few uses. I was able to get replacements from the manufacturer, but the same thing happened with the replacements. After a few uses, the poor quality of the non-stick coating fails and makes this appliace a total waste of money and time.

My husband has wanted a sandwich maker for several years, and I have always said no because I hated how the food would slip into the cracks and you could never clean it thoroughly. I am so excited about this appliance because the plates are removable and you can get to any crack and crevice you want...for those insane cleaners like me!! And the perks are that we get 4 different plates! We've used 3 so far and they are all great! Thanks!

This product fails to heat in the promised time. Pancakes and waffles don't brown. When I tried to make a grilled cheese sandwich, the cheese melted before the bread browned. The sandwiches were soggy and I'm still trying to get the cheese off the appliance. Moreover, the instructions are inadequate. There are no heat controls. Everything cooks at the same fairly low heat. I found this thing useless.

Weber One Touch Gold 22.5 Inch Charcoal Grill

Weber 751001 Gold One-Touch 22-1/2-Inch Kettle Grill, BlackWhen it came time for us to get a new charcoal grill I searched every site and checked out dozens of different grills, some costing many hundreds of dollars, all promising some advantage.

Some units were really interesting, and not too expensive, but upon close inspection many of these proved to be tinny and cheaply made. The very expensive systems were very nice, but did not offer rotisseries and other useful accessories and were just too expensive for us anyway.

So, we ended up with another Weber, the Gold Model. In the many years since our last Weber, there have been a lot of improvements that kept it attractive. The ash catcher really does make cleanup much easier and the vent system is more functional. The grill itself has the new flip-up hatches that allow you to add more coals and move them around without having to lift up the grill. I did that all the time with the old grill.

The optional little bent-wire style of charcoal retainers do help to keep the coals out to the side when you want to use a drip pan in the center.

Others have recommended the chimney style charcoal start for ecological reasons. It is also just plain faster to use as well, and it is made of heavy gauge metal that is both attractive and long-lasting.

I love the optional rotisserie (see those reviews) and it comes with an extension ring that is also useful for other cooking options.

We got the green colored kettle and it looks very nice on the patio. The general design and those odd white-wall tires give it a kind of vintage look.

This is a well-made and very functional grill with all sorts of interesting available accessories that really work well. There is a reason for the popularity of the Weber. I looked, I bought. Hard to beat.

...............

Update 7/2012. Still good, used daily all summer and even in the rain under my porch cover. Something I came up with that could be interesting to the more dedicated user. I essentially bought a downed oak tree and have been splitting it for firewood for next winter. Had a lot of small, crooked, knotty, twisted pieces that couldn't easily be split. I cut them up into 1" cubes on a band saw, hoping to use them as briquettes in the Weber. A newspaper sprinkled with cooking oil got them started in the Weber chimney starter quite quickly. The secret is to be a bit patient so that they stop flaming and turn to glowing coals. And then you have a genuine oak BBQ, just like on a ranch. Very good, but a lot of work and dangerous enough even on a band saw. And it messes up the blade and rollers. The other more accessible method would be to simply start an oak campfire in the Weber, using regular old pieces of oak like you would in a fireplace. It would take some time to burn down to coals, but even more of an excuse to drink too much and then burn the food because....well, everyone has done this. Right? Anyway, flaming oak imparts a kind of bitter taste while glowing oak coals make it delicious. I do this research for you.

__________________________

Update 2, on cooking an expensive steak. This works and requires no skill. I went out and bought the most expensive steak ever, an organic, grass fed, free range whatever ribeye at a boutique market and the attractive butcher girl probably had her thumb on the digital scale besides. I about died when I saw the price. Hmmm, can't afford to cook this any way but perfectly.

I once saw a YouTube video on how to properly cook a steak using high heat and this is my BBQ grill interpretation of that.

Use the coal retainers to block off a section of the lower grill and fill up that smaller portion with lots of hot coals. It cannot be too hot in this case.

Put on the cooking grill and let the previous session's grease flame off, which of course also heats it up hotly and is somewhat entertaining and makes you feel guilty about what you are eating...

Put on the steak. Having those long tongs helps a lot. You can rub it with olive oil if you want, but it is unclear to me if that is necessary and it causes more flame-ups. No BBQ sauce though. Lid off! Deal with the flame-ups by maneuvering the steak around. Some people use a water spray. This is hands-on, attentive work.

Stand by. It will cook fast. Have your other food well under way. Within minutes the down side will have that crust of goodness, short of burnt of course. Turn it over and do the other side. When that side is seared, remove the steak and insert a digital cooking thermometer, taking care to place it in the very center, from the side (not stabbed in from the top). I use a Polder and the line from the sensor to the display seems to hold up in high heat, but don't string it out over the coals. Run it out the back. Set the alarm for 130.

Put the steak back over the un-coaled area. The effect now is that this is a very hot oven, not a grill. Put on the lid, make sure all vents are open. Watch the temp rise, amazingly fast so don't wander off.

Remove the steak, with tongs, to a plate and cover it with aluminum foil, resting it as they say on cooking shows. By the time everything else is served up, maybe 10 minutes or so, it should be ready to serve.

This gives you a steak that looks exactly like the ones in advertisements, medium rare with a great crust. You can throw it back on and in a couple of minutes the temp and doneness will go up. There is no shame in putting food back on the fire, but there is shame in over-cooking it! If you paid the big bucks for your meat, burning it will make you cry.

BTW, this works for other meat like thick cut pork chops (thick ones are easier to cook properly). Use the same method, but run the temp up to 140-145 (145 being the new govt standard, and in fact it is the standard for all meat other than poultry. If you were brought up on thin, over-cooked pork chops (we all were) you have a revelation coming. Chicken parts don't require the high heat, but a quick sear and off the the oven part works very well for them.

It is suggested that the steak be served with salt and pepper, applied after it is cooked as it may be a bad idea to subject the salt and pepper to high heat. The more expensive the meat, the less you should put on it. Cooks always suggest kosher salt and it is indeed very good for this, and ground pepper is better as well. I really think BBQ sauce is too much for expensive beef, but if you want to fancy it up, slowly heat up some butter and garlic and let it meld together. Strain it and serve it on the side, or simply pour it on. What the heck, you have already gone well over the fat grams or whatever for the month anyway...

If you have to cook more than maybe 3 or 4 large steaks, you could fill the entire bowl with coals and then finalize them in the kitchen oven set very high, like 450, and with the temp probe stuck in the most representative steak. This gives you 90% of the grilling experience and taste.

We bought this grill as our first grill based on reviews. The Weber grill is a solidly built grill. You don't feel they skimped on materials when they built this. Assembly was only difficult when installing the base ring for the ash catcher but once I got past that, it was easy. The metal grate for the charcoal is smart for allowing air to come up beneath the charcoals, helping keep them hot, which the cooking grate is smartly designed, with two sides able to be flipped up so that you can add more charcoal if you need to. The two handles on the cooking grate make it easy to move the grate. The wheels make it easy to roll the grill around, although I would have preferred rubber wheels as opposed to plastic wheels.

The only complaint I have about this grill is that the handle for the lid can get really hot when it's been sitting on the grill for a while. You can remedy this by wearing a grilling mitt when removing the lid. I'm not sure if a wood handle would make a difference. Just a minor complaint.

The big cooking grate is terrific. I can throw all kinds of stuff on the grill at once and it doesn't matter where it lies, if you spread your coals evenly, everything cooks great whether on the outskirts of the sides of the grate or on the center of the grate. I attribute this to the Weber design and the grill's ability to distribute heat evenly and well.

The ash catcher is one of the nicest features on this grill. If you are trying to decide between the silver and the gold Weber grill, make no mistake that this is the better option hands down. The ash plate on the silver model will most likely get filled up with ash quickly, not to mention it is a possible fire hazard if hot charcoal bits fall off the side of the ash plate. The ash catcher on the gold model is like a pan and can hold a lot of ash and hot charcoal bits with no problem. Spend a little bit more and get the better feature and you won't regret it.

Buy Weber One Touch Gold 22.5 Inch Charcoal Grill Now

You're probalby thinking that there's no reason to update the 10-year-old Weber you've got in your back yard. Well, turns out Weber has made some smart improvements over the years-the new "gold" model is worth the upgrade.

The ash-catcher is super, the one-touch vent system is a big improvement (no more knocking each vent with a trowel), the plastic handles stay cooler... you get the idea. Nothing dramatic, but good progress.

But here's the clincher: setting one of these up (takes about 20 minutes, even if you make a mistake or two) just makes you feel like you're in heaven. It's summer embodied. People rhapsodize about the new car small... well, fughettaboutit. The look of a shiny new grill that you've assembled yourself is about as good as it gets.

Highly recommended accessory: the charcoal companion. Put your lighter fluid (or your MatchLight) away and use this instead-it works flawlessly, and it's better for the environment.

Read Best Reviews of Weber One Touch Gold 22.5 Inch Charcoal Grill Here

I'll admit from the start that I'm biased. I swear by Weber products. I've been happy with my Smokey Joe, but I just needed a bigger grill. Enter the 22" One Touch Gold. A friend of mine has an 18" One Touch, but I think that the ~$20 price difference is a marginal cost for the extra size. Four inches doesn't seem like a lot of extra room, but it really is.

Installation was a snap. No tools required, except for a hammer to tap the wheels onto the base. The kettle itself is porcelain-enameled, which means it doesn't rust. All of the parts seemed to be built to last. The lid forms a nice seal with the base of the kettle, and the "one touch" vent adjustment works well.

I debated whether to get the Silver version or go for the Gold. The grills are basically identical, but the Gold version has a hinged cooking grate and an enclosed ash catcher (and costs $50 more). The Silver has a standard cooking grate and an ash pan. The hinged cooking grate is an essential feature for anyone who likes to grill indirectly. Adding charcoal or wood chips without disturbing the food on the grill is quick and easy. However, Amazon sells a hinged cooking grate for under $20. I'm not sure if the enclosed ash catcher is worth $30 because you could just set a coffee can on the ash pan. Then again, if the grill lasts about 10 years (which it should with proper care), then it's only $3 more per year.

I saved the best for last. I noticed that the assembly manual pictured two parts, a pair of charcoal rails, that were not included in the box. I called Weber customer support, and they explained that the wrong manuals were sent out with some of the grills, and I wasn't actually missing the charcoal rails. Then they offered to send me the charcoal rails for free anyway! That kind of customer service is rare in my opinion and sets Weber apart. I'm very confident that they'll stand behind their products if anything happened to go wrong.

To sum up:

THE GOOD

quality construction

great customer service

good ventilation

lots of cooking area

hinged cooking grate

enclosed ash catcher

THE BAD

Silver version may be a better value

Want Weber One Touch Gold 22.5 Inch Charcoal Grill Discount?

I'm a big Weber fan-I've used a Genesis gas grill for six years and a Smoky Mountain Cooker for two. Recently purchased the Kettle Gold. Great charcoal grill! The enclosed ash catcher is particularily useful if you grill with lump charcoal versus briquettes, like I do. It catches any sparks and small pieces of lump that drop through the charcoal grate. Hinged grate is also a big plus. I like to use the Weber charcoal holders to hold my lump when grilling steaks-push them together in the center to sear (brings charcoal about 2 inches from meat) then push them to the outer edge for indirect cooking. I also added a thermometer to the lid to check and adjust cooking temps.

This baby would get five stars if Weber was still offering the cast iron grate upgrade for the kettles. It's been discontinued this year, but I hear some are still out there to be found. Even without cast iron, you can't go wrong with this as a charcoal grill, and being a Weber, it will last for years and you'll get great customer support if it is ever needed.

Spray Nine 15650 Barbeque Grill Cleaner, 22 oz.

Spray Nine 15650 Barbeque Grill Cleaner, 22 oz.My BBQ has not been cleaned in a long time and was in great need of a full cleaning. After seeing how much nasty came off using this product I will definitely be doing annual cleaning after winter. Worked really well on loosening and softening the dirt and grime up. Have not had a chance to compare it to anything else but I did see a large section of cleaners at the local home improvement store.

There are a lot of warning when using this product so you should probably get gloves to use it with. Also, the spray trigger broke... maybe because I am so strong (or cheap plastic). Good thing I had some empty spray bottles sitting around or I would have been really mad. Had to dump it into the generic spray bottle to start the cleaning.

I tried various cleaners I could buy from local hardware stores. SprayNine BBQ Grill Cleaner is the most powerful cleaner for the greasy residue on my grill. I am so glad to find it in Amazon.com and I ordered several bottles.

I did some spring cleaning, part of which included the grill. This helps some of the baked on mess come right off. Some bits require additional treatments and soak time. Make sure you also have a solid steel scrub brush too.

My BBQ hadn't been washed for a year. We just placed aluminum foil over it and burned it off but it never got real clean. I have never used a cleaner for a BBQ before so I can't don't know if its better than others, but it took 4 applications with the use of a medium soft brass wire brush with a blade scrapper (by rubbermaid). It looks almost new except for some stains that I lost motivation on. I would suppose that it would clean up much easier if I hadn't waited a year to work on it. The cleaner didn't hurt my bare hands, but kept washing them off. There was no obvious bubbling, it just softened things up for the brush. I gave it 5 stars since I have nothing to compare it too. Was kinda expecting some bubbling, but nope.

Want Spray Nine 15650 Barbeque Grill Cleaner, 22 oz. Discount?

Seems to clean okay. We had been spraying it after every grilling session. Still need to scrub the grates too though.

I have thrown it away however because of a mishap with our 3 year old. I had been keeping the cleaner outside under the grill, behind a cover, so it was easily accessible to spray on after grilling. It is our fault, though it doesn't take long for little one's to get into things they shouldn't, but our 3 year old got ahold of it and sprayed a little on the cement patio before we caught him to put it up.

A few days later we see that not only has the concrete been eaten away, but our boy had little peeled pieces of skin on the fingertips (pad portion) of his fingers. I think after he sprayed he must have bent down to touch the "liquid". I called the Poision Control Center number as suggested on the back of the bottle.

The chemical in this cleaner is a CORROSIVE acid, meaning that if you get any on your skin, it will not just burn the first layer but will seep into your skin and burn into a few more layers. In fact, on the back of the bottle it says if there is skin contact to rinse for 15-20 MINUTES! Wish I would have read the back of the bottle right away when we bought it.

Within the next week new spots would appear on his fingers due to the continued burn of the acid that could not be rinsed off at that point because it had already seeped into his skin. It took 4 weeks for his fingers to heal. During the 4 weeks we had to keep them bandaged alternating with Neosporin and Hydrocortisone Cream that we got from the doctor when we took him in.

I am so very, very grateful none of it got into his eyes or his mouth. I can't even imagine what would have happened to him after seeing what happened to his fingers. I think we will stick to the good old fashioned scrub brushes.

Bayou Classics Cast Iron Reversible Griddle

Bayou Classic 7428 28' Cast Iron Reversible GriddlePurchased as an adaptable and affordable alternative to expensive ($1,000+) teppanyaki griddles. The griddle is delightfully heavy and makes a fine heat sink. It is used over two 75,000btu burners with two perforated simmer diffusers sandwiched between. The heat is nicely distributed and allows slower cooking. My interest is in Japanese-style cooking: okonomiyaki and yakisobas mainly. (Yes, there is enough room for an onion volcano if you must.) The set-up is used in the kitchen (not the standard kitchen). Now I can cook two Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki and have space to fry the noodles that are part of the recipe AND the two required eggs without wishing I had another burner and pan. Very Nice. Keep in mind that it is NOT designed to fit the typical wimpy range found in the usual kitchen.

The cast iron MUST be seasoned, but can be done on top of the burners, no oven required. The cast iron MUST be heated slowly to prevent distortion and cracking. Remember, there is a lot of thermal mass here. One bit of advice, sand the cooking surface to remove the lumps and roughness from the (I presume) sand mold. An orbital sander and successive grits works fine.

The griddle meets my requirements beautifully. The cooking is fun and efficient. Cleaning is ridiculously easy. Sure, it is not laser-flat, but close enough. My only surprise was that it survived shipping in the incredibly thin packaging.

This is a bargain. It is the most inexpensive piece of new metal/pound I ever brought. There are some minor grinding marks on the outside edge, but they are gone with the first couple of uses and seasoning. The griddle and frying finish are fine. Plus, you can't beat the price. I don't normal write reviews, but this desires a good solid rating for its workmanship, cost and free shipping. Just be mindful at 28 inches long, it is big it's size surprised me somewhat.

This could have been a really good grill that would have lasted a lifetime. However, the first one I recieved had deep groves in it from poor casting. Amazon replaced it with another. The second grill had the same grooves and large deep divits created from someone trying to use a grinder. I dont recomend this to anyone since you will be disapointed with a grill that could be great if it was manufactured properly.

I placed this on the 2, 30,000 btu burners on the camp chef stove.

It's great !

Good sear marks and flavor, along with very fast cooking !

Lot's 'o realestate for cooking

It's very hot to handle after cooking, but I found, that a pair of welders gloves solved that problem nicely!

Seen other review about being warped, but others that said it was very good. First one was warped, sent bake for replacement. Second one is warped worse! Do yourself a favor and buy a different griddle, two out of two is not a average. Also be prepared to do some grinding and sanding. They come with rough and sharp edges that need to be removed. Poor quality item BEWARE!

They work well. Little bit of a tight fit to get in. But work very well. Of course seemed a little pricy for me. But cheaper then buying a new grill of this quality.

Plugs right in. Works well. Definately want to change your burners before they get too terribly bad. It is worth it to swap our premature before everything deteriates.

Mr Bar B Q 02079SSX Platinum Prestige Grill Brush

Mr Bar B Q 02079SSX Platinum Prestige Grill BrushAs the previous review indicates, this item bends too easily at the connection between the handle and the head. Each time I would bend it back, it would be a little weaker. Finally, yesterday it broke. I've only owned it a little over two months, and haven't even had a chance to use the replacement head. Wouldn't recommend.

I have used it several times now and it does the grill cleaning job well. I'd recommend this.

This grill scraper was good for about 10 grilling sessions, or about 2 weeks in our home. You would be much wiser to go down to Home Depot and buy their plastic scraper....it has survived with no visible wear well into it's 2nd full year of grilling sessions and looks like it will be good for several seasons more...
