Ceramic Marble Coated Cast Aluminium Non Stick Fry Pan 30cm(12 inches)

Ceramic Marble Coated Cast Aluminium Non Stick Fry Pan 30cm(12 inches)I loved this pan. When I went back to Amazon to buy another one, I saw a review by someone stating there was a warning about Phthalates AND Lead. That did not make much sense to me knowing it was made in Korea where people have gotten highly educated about and sensitive to toxins. But, I wasn't going to risk my family's health. Too bad, I thought, as it really is one of the best pans I have ever used. Then, I found and bought a set of Instant Lead Tests (by Lead Check) sold by Amazon and tested the pan I had at home. The result: NO LEAD. As to Phthalates (DEHP), I don't know how to test for it, but I don't see how DEHP, a primary plasticizer for PVC, would be on the cooking surface meant for high temperature operation. Maybe the handle tested positive for it? Given the type of hard material used for the handle, I don't think it is a high risk area, if any. So, guess what, I am buying another ceramic marble coated pan!

My husband never forgave me for throwing away his favorite non-stick pan. In searching for a safer alternative to teflon, we came across this pan, which seemed like a safer option. Sadly, upon receipt, we noticed the following disclaimer on the product packaging: "State of California Prop. 65 WARNING This product contains DEHP, a Phthalate Chemical, Lead and other Chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm." Use at your own risk. I'll be returning mine.

I have used this pan for a couple of months now and decided to order 2 more, smaller one for myself and 1 for my sister. Will probably purchase more for my family!

They feel solid, and are exactly as described.

I still find that I need to use a little oil or pam spray, but that is fine. These are good quality pans at a great price

I'm always being distracted by numerous things when I cook and as a result have walked away after or before cooking with flame still burning under the pan, ruining every pan I've ever used. This last time,.. after preparing breakfast, I emptied my bacon & eggs from this Ceramic Marble coated pan, heard the phone ring in my computer room where I took my breakfast to eat, and answer the phone. After finishing my breakfast and phone call,(a good 25 minutes), there was a burning smell. I ran back through the smoke filled house to remove the pan from the stove. I thought,..Oh No!,..another new pan ruined!

After abusing the pan on medium high (3/4) for at least 25 minutes,..I was shocked to see it clean up so easily with just a damp paper towel, and even though there was an 8" area in the center of the pan that was slightly darker than the rest,..it STILL retains it's excellent non-stick properties.

You could spend a whole lot more and still not get something comparable to this very affordable high quality pan.

Want Ceramic Marble Coated Cast Aluminium Non Stick Fry Pan 30cm(12 inches) Discount?

I realized after a few uses that the pan looks just like the "stone line" pans being sold on TV. I assumed the pan would be heavy since it's got a marble coating but it's surprising light. I cook all types of food on it, and am very impressed with the performance. It cooks evenly, does not require oil or spray, but I add some for flavor. Made eggs sunny side up with two drips of grapeseed oil, added cheese and when the edges curled up, I was able to slide the eggs from the pan onto the plate, no utensils! Cleanup is as easy as rinsing with warm soapy water and a paper towel. Buy it before the price goes up, it's the only pan you'll need.

Tel-Tru BQ300 Barbecue Thermometer, 3 inch black dial with zones, 2.5 inch stem, 100/500 degrees F

Tel-Tru BQ300 Barbecue Thermometer, 3 inch black dial with zones, 2.5 inch stem, 100/500 degrees FBest thermometer you can get for your smoker.

Made in the USA & far superior to the other thermometers on the market.

I bought a different highly rated thermometer and saved about $20 bucks I promptly ruined about $70 of meat because of inaccuracy in it's temp range (after I calibrated it with boiling water @ 212 degrees).

The Tru-Temp thermometers are precision instruments.

The hole required for the thermometer is a little larger (1/2 inch) than other brands.

I got the additional installation kit which consists of a machined nut & washer for about $6 Tel-Tru Thermometer Installation Kit for replacement barbecue thermometers.

Five Stars *****

Here's a bit about me, so you know where this review is coming from.

I've been grilling and smoking food as a hobby for about 25 years (more so in the last 15). I have eight or nine grills and smokers, mostly Weber stuff. My BBQ skills are about the same as my driving skills: "above average".

(For the humor impaired, that's a tiny lil' joke.)

I like to learn about BBQ, try new recipes, etc. And I love to put on BBQ's for friends and family. I've built a reputation among friends and family as turning out some pretty good BBQ. But in all honesty I don't consider myself any more than a backyard griller. There are some truly great barbecuers out there, and I'm not one of them.

About ten years ago someone recommended Tel-Tru to me and I installed a BQ300 on my (pre-2009) Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker. Tel-Tru thermometers weren't available on Amazon, so I ordered it direct.

The Smokey Mountain is a great smoker, but works all the better with an accurate thermometer. There's none better than Tel-Tru. They are relatively expensive but worth every penny. Tel-Tru is my go-to brand for outdoor thermometers.

This thermometer is appropriate for any thin-walled grill or smoker (up to 1/4" thick) that you're willing to drill a hole in. I can't comment about it's suitability for a porcelain or ceramic cooker. I know that kamados can run much hotter than the range on this thermometer (500 degrees F). I'm sure there's a more suitable (Tel-Tru) thermometer for kamado-style or other thick-walled cookers, in terms of design and temperature range.

Some hardcore grillers and smokers will tell you that the only way to fly is with super awesome, fast reading digital probes and whatnot. I think that "going all in" with remote digital probes, forced air controllers, etc. takes all the fun out of BBQ. If you want pushbutton convenience from your BBQ appliance, then have at it. There's nothing wrong with that at all; it's just not for me. A simple thermometer is about as far down Crutch Lane as I want to go. I just feel better knowing how hot things are during the cook, and having a thermometer on my main smoker has been a great learning tool for me.

If you read any BBQ forums, you'll find strong opinions about analog thermometers. Some "internet experts" assert that analog thermometers are wildly inaccurate and/or inconsistent. That may be so (and they may really be experts). I made the mistake of trying a few "value priced" thermometers, so I get it. But it ain't so for this thermometer!! The lesson here is not to avoid analog thermometers, it's DON'T BUY CHEAP STUFF. When I got my Tel-Tru, I tested it in boiling water. It was dead on accurate. Ten years later it is STILL dead on accurate. This is one case where you get what you pay for.

I've had occasion to check out a few BBQ competitions. I've seen the same or similar BQ300 thermometers in use by contestants there, including some who really knew what they were doing. That carries some weight with me.

The thermometer mount is a 1/2" NPT fitting. I marked and drilled a pilot hole in my Weber, covered both sides with blue painter's tape (to try and avoid chipping the porcelain, although I'm not sure how likely that is), used a uni-bit to drill out to the right size, then cleaned up the edges with a reamer (by hand, light pressure). Tighten, but don't overtighten. It took me all of 5 minutes, and I ain't that handy.

Most people think my smoker came from the factory with the Tel-Tru installed. The black face with white markings and zones is a great match for Weber's black porcelain finish, and for that matter I think it would go well with just about anything.

Keep in mind that these thermometers are accurately and consistently measuring temperature where they're installed. That's different from the temperature surrounding your food! Mine is mounted fairly high in the lid of my Smokey Mountain Cooker. It's about 25 degrees higher than the top grate and 35-40 degrees higher than the bottom grate, for the way I usually set up the smoker. Your mileage WILL vary. For shorter cooks I look for no higher than 240 degrees on the thermometer; for lower and slower stuff I look for 220. I take that difference into account deciding where to put food on the grates, or to determine if I should switch top and bottom, etc.

One more tip for wood/charcoal cookers: don't use the thermometer as an excuse to constantly fool with your cooker. Let it get up to temperature, then make small adjustments if necessary. BE PATIENT. Let things stabilize. Especially for low and slow smoking, get it stable and open the smoker as little as possible.

Tel-Tru makes their products in America. That matters to me. It matters every bit as much that they make very high quality products that stand on their own. Tel-Tru justifies our pride in the "Made in U.S.A" label, and I'm happy to count myself a customer.

Outset QB22 Extra-Long Stainless-Steel Barbecue Tongs with Rosewood Handles

Outset QB22 Extra-Long Stainless-Steel Barbecue Tongs with Rosewood HandlesThese Outset 21" tongs are made extremely well out of stainless steel, and keep your hands out of the heat. I would not subject the nice rosewood handles to dishwashers. The locking mechanism is one handed, so they lock and unlock by holding them upside down, etc.

I give these 5 stars.

I don't know what the others reviewing this are using but it is not a good set of tongs. There is no spring so it doesn't open on its own. Never had a set of tongs that doesn't open without spring action. I returned the first set thinking it was defective. Second set was the same. They suck. Not sure who is giving these good reviews but be warned. Tongs need to have spring action to open unless u have some sort of miracle hands.

I selected these tongs based on other previews and the spring feature in the clamp. I purchased these tongs for my husband for Father's Day. Unfortunately, less than 10 uses later, the spring has broken and they are unusable now. :(

While they were in working order, they worked wonderfully.

Alas, the design failure in the spring looked like a poor design flaw.

These appear to be very well made. They are very long but they grasp items easily. Better than I expected. I had some people over for a cookout and all of the men wanted to use them! Now I don't have to burn my hands on my super hot lump charcoal burning grill and I can get people to help me cook just because my utensils are so nice :) (I think they also like to test out the weber performer)

Babycakes CP-12 Cake Pop Maker, 12 Cake Pop Capacity, Purple

Babycakes CP-12 Cake Pop Maker, 12 Cake Pop Capacity, PurpleI like it. It's easy to use, takes little care and comes with some nice accessories, such as pop sticks, a drying rack, a little fork and a syringe. Though these items are not made for heavy use, they are more than adequate for us non-pros. If you follow the instructions, you can easily produce doughnut holes/cake pops. This item produces more pops in one batch than other makers on the market. I suspect the balls may be slightly smaller, but to a 6-year-old, that doesn't matter. A dozen at a time is more or less a 'batch' so this model works well. The fork makes it easy to remove the balls from the maker and put them on a cooling rack. We've used a white cake mix, a brownie mix and a gingerbread mix and are pleased with the results. My wife used the injector to put melted marscapone into the gingerbread balls. It did a good job and the results are tasty. The key is to follow the instructions and to have someone who knows how the different type of mixes bake. The brownie mix takes a little longer than the white cake mix. The gingerbread pops took 3.5 minutes, but my wife decreased the water by about an ounce, so the batter was a little heavy. I did the white cake mix and baked them for 4.5 minutes each batch. The cake mix yielded 6.5 batches. The brownie mix produced about two dozen. Now some suggestions. Getting the right amount of batter into each well is crucial to a good pop; too little and they're not as round, too much and you get something that looks like Saturn and there's more clean-up. The brownies had mini-chocolate chips in them and many didn't make it into a ball. To get the right amount of batter and do it quickly, I recommend using a pancake batter pencil. You can add cake batter and squeeze out the right amount quickly. For thicker batters with chips and such, use a cookie press. The press should push the chips through. Trying to spoon a tablespoon of batter into the wells gets messy. You can use a canning (wide-mouth) funnel to transfer batter from your mixing bowl into the pancake batter pencil. Have fun.

I have to start off by saying that these are not traditional cake pops. Usually cake pops are made by mushing up a cooled cake with icing and forming them into balls. This product simply makes balls of cake. And it works beautifully! There are a few tips you should be aware of though:

-Like other reviews stated, you will get "saturn rings"...but only if you overfill! I find the perfect spot is filled to right below the top of the well. This produces perfect little spheres without the overflow.

-You will probably have to use an oven mitt. This thing gets HOT!

-Use a pastry bag when filling the wells. If you don't have a pasty bag, use a large zip-lock bag with the corner snipped off. This allows you to get precisely the right amount of filling without getting it everywhere.

-You MUST must must freeze the cake balls for 15 minutes before putting them on a stick and dipping them! To help them adhere after freezing, dip the stick in a little bit of melted chocolate and then insert into the cake ball. Pop them back into the freezer for a few minutes, and then dip away!

-For a better dipping experience, use a little bit (a tablespoon or so) or vegetable oil to thin the candy melts. After dipping, gently tap the stick on the side of your bowl while rotating the stick to get off excess chocolate.

Overall, this is a great little device that does exactly what it's supposed to do if you follow the directions. I will never go back to hand rolling cake pops again!

I love my cakemaker. I waited a few months for this through Kohls, which was WAY cheaper than Amazon.com. I just got it and I've already made cake pops, brownie bites, doughnut holes, and takoyaki. It is so versatile with the shape and how small it is. Its definitely one of the smaller models of the babycakes series, but it makes for great bite size treats. Remember, cake pops are not going to be the traditional dense ones, but you can still chill the round cakes, put a stick in it, and dip it in chocolate. It still turns out very good. I actually prefer this to the usual dense crumbly ones. It feels more like cake instead of smashed cake pounded together. The takoyaki, which is a japanese food, turned out great; better than expected! The nonstick surface is fabulous and it heats up and cools down very fast. The cook time is amazing as well, only 6-8 minutes.

The only cons I can see is the really short power cord (only two feet approx) and that the outside plastic gets quite warm (almost hot) to the touch when heating and baking. The lid will get loose if you're not careful.

Easy to use and fun to make with kids. Endless possibilities beyond just cake pops: mini muffin balls, potato cake balls, etc.. I read all the reviews and didn't risk a straight cake mix. I used the adapted recipe from their website and they came out perfectly! That's 2 Cups boxed cake mix, 4 tablespoons butter, 1/2 cup water and 1 egg. You can use the included from scratch recipes, but girl please. The biggest pain is coating them in candy melts after. I have a mini crock pot I use to keep my chocolate warm, but it is still very time consuming. Just be prepared and block out about 2 hours for the whole process.

Want Babycakes CP-12 Cake Pop Maker, 12 Cake Pop Capacity, Purple Discount?

When I first got my cake pop maker I admit I had some of the same problems as others did. However, with further experimentation I found that in order to get sphere cake balls you have to refrigerate your cake batter. I keep my batter in the fridge even while I have some of it baking. When I fill the holes I then put the pancake pen in the fridge as well. If you don't the balls will flatten on the top. I have used red velvet, french vanilla, marble, devils food, etc.

The only issue I have with the make is it gets so hot that you sometimes need to help of a dish rag to get it open. If it feels like the latch wont open push down on the top with a rag and then try the latch. I would highly recommend this cake pop maker to anyone who likes to bake for fun. Once you get the hang of the cake pop maker it is so easy to use. I have baked upwards of 270 cake pops at one time.

If you have trouble getting the batter into the cake pop maker I recommend the Tovolo 80-4784 Pancake Pen 3-Cup Batter Dispenser it runs about $10 you can get it on Amazon or at Bed, Bath & Beyond (20% off coupon will save you $2)

If you want to melt your own chocolate the Wilton Chocolate Pro Electric Melting Pot is wonderful! You can get it on Amazon for $25 or Michaels always has 40% off coupons so you could get it for about $20.

I hope this helped, and good baking!!!

GrillPro 41333 Stainless Steel Chicken Roaster for Grills

GrillPro 41333 Stainless Steel Chicken Roaster for GrillsI bought my "Chick-can" for about 2 dollars so this one is very overpriced. But it is a great product. My boyfriend and I broke ours in for Thanksgiving using cheap beer and chicken and it tasted GREAT (even in spite of cheap beer). It was very easy to use in the oven and the chicken was juicy and delicious. It's easy to clean and you can use pretty much any 12 ounce can of liquid you choose. Highly recommended!

You can get an equivalent chicken rack that can hold a 12 oz can for less than $5 from pretty much any hardware or grill store.

I just built a clay grill pit in my backyard, and I needed skewers within 3 days. I contacted Grill Time and they delivered my skewers within 2 days. Upon arrival I tore open the box and was extremely pleased with the look and feel of my large blade and forked skewers. They are durable, with a good weight. The six inch handles fit your palm perfectly. Once I put them on my skewer frame, the wood did not get hot. My large cuts of Churrasco meat turned perfectly on the large blade skewers, and the forked skewers held shrimp and chicken hearts beautifully.

I recommend these skewers and Grill Time with the highest possible marks.. Also, I just asked them if they make custom skewers and they do! Perfect.

Chef's Design Single Burner Reversible Grill/Griddle

Chef's Design Single Burner Reversible Grill/GriddleI ordered this item and was excited about using it, but I had to return it. Its not listed in the item description, but on the box it says the griddle is not compatible with flat top stoves.

This is a superb product. It works great in both modes and really does defrost things quickly as well...something I was a little sceptical of.

Compared to the price for grill pans it was a REAL bargain and does the job as well or better because there are no issues of being able to get at the meat to turn it. I would love a bigger one that covers more than one burner!

I use this constantly! I'm not all that into using an outdoor grill, so this is perfect! It's just the right size for 2 4 pieces of chicken, portobello mushrooms, burgers, steaks and it washes up in a snap.

Read Best Reviews of Chef's Design Single Burner Reversible Grill/Griddle Here

I bought this on 8/21/08 solely to cook chicken and steak in the COLD Cleveland, Ohio months when I didn't feel like starting my outdoor propane grill this winter (2008-09).

I had no idea of it's touted claim of "defrosting foods quickly" until I actually had it in my home and read the brochures in the box. THIS THING IS INCREDIBLE! I kid you not, stuff that would take 6-8 hours to thaw on my counter-top are ready in about an hour(or less!). It's like Magic!!

A helpful-hint: If you want "grill-marks", put it in a 500-degree oven for 10 minutes or so before putting it on your stove-top burner. ...This thing hold a lot of heat!

...I personally like my steak "Mooing" on the inside but with a nice crust of seasoning and/or flesh-cooked about 1/32nd inch on each side. If I have a really 'nice' piece of meat, I've left the grill in the 500-degree over for upwards of 15 minutes before putting it on the stove-top and adding the piece of meat.

You certainly don't need to "pre-heat" it in the oven and you wouldn't want to if you were making say, a pancake or an egg. ...From 'Cold' to stove-top, DO pre-heat for 6-10 minutes at medium-high.

This is the drawback: I actually love the one I got so I wanted to buy another one! I originally paid $13.26 on 8/21/08 for this wonderful thing. --It's a little more than a month later, 9/30/08, and the price has more than doubled to $32.32!

It's NOT worth $30+ but it is worth $15. If it's 'On Sale' for $15 or less, BUY IT! You won't regret it if for nothing else than it's Quick-Defrost Magic!!

Blessings,

LC

I came back to the US from living abroad and I had to buy everything for my home, starting from scratch. I bought a set of pans that have disappointed me, so I began looking for a new fry pan, at least. I looked at skillets, electric skillets and fry pans of all makes and models. I have so many electric things that I have to store away! I really didn't want one more. I took a chance with this single burner grill/griddle and I absolutely love it. I leave it on the stove always. I do spray it before using. One time I forgot and made steak kabobs. Usually a quick rinse will get the goop off. This time it was more difficult. So, I put it back on the burner, poured a little water on it, brought it to a sizzle and the crust came right off! If I had been the designer, I would have added a small handle. Love this product and use it daily!

Char-Broil Performance Series Replacement Burner

Char-Broil Performance Series Replacement BurnerExact replacement for my Performance Series Grill. Fast delivery and the price was about 1/3 the cost of most other sites. Plus free shipping over the $25.00 limit could not be beat. Highly recommend!

Did a complete redo of the inside of my Charbroil Performance Series Grill. Was looking at the new cast iron burners but for the price, I decided on these stainless steel. They work great! Installed easily and were an exact replacement for the original burners that had rusted completely through. Grill is like new again and working well. My Char-Broil grill is 5 years old and I needed to replace the heat plates, so I decided to replace the burners and carryover tubes as well. Glad I did. These burners are exact replacements and the flames are now even across the three burners. Ended up replacing the cooking grid as well.

Want Char-Broil Performance Series Replacement Burner Discount?

My Charbroil cooker was used when it was given to me several years ago. The old burners were holy, the carrying tube across the back had been removed, the spiders had made a home in the side burner tube and the contacts on the automatic starter needed cleaning. This spring, I cleaned it up as usual but then realized that I could change the burners if only I could loosen the 4 screws that held the tub to the frame and move it just enough to lift the old burners out. I got three out of four screws out and tipped up the tub. Out slid the old burners, in slid the new. So easy. The new burners along with the new carrying tube and cover plates have restored my Charbroil to new cooking condition. With a push of the starter button now, the first burner lights up like my kitchen stove and the other burners follow suit after only a few seconds of the first burner warming up and the gas reaching the carrying tube. If I can do it, anyone can. Perfect.

Sportsman MHPRESS Cast Iron Adjustable Depth Hamburger Press

Sportsman MHPRESS Cast Iron Adjustable Depth Hamburger PressIf you're looking for heavey duty this is it! Unlike all those other so-called heavy duty ones out there. It is apparent that the seller knows nothing about what they're selling. This is "Tinned Cast Iron" Like so many meat grinders. NOT ALUMINUM or POT METAL! Probably made in china but doesn't say where. It is a great product though, if you know how to take care of it. NEVER! use a scrub pad on it or you'll wear out the tin and then it will rust. Just use soap and water with a soft cloth and you're good to go. If it does rust wash it, dry it and put some oil on it just like a cast iron skillet.

The eye hook that holds the little knob on is kind of cheap and does not hold the knob on very well. Should be replaced with a proper bolt and washer. Other than that it works great!

I give it 3 stars because the seller doesn't know what it is and the eye screw is cheap. Could have been a 5 Star item.

Whatever this is made out of it's not aluminum. It had rust spots, was spray painted silver, and weighed close to a brick. I'm pretty sure it's a health hazard.

I'm not someone who reviews a whole lot of things but seeing as how this had no reviews, I thought I'd warn people before they ordered it.

I had no issue with the seller otherwise; the transaction and shipment was smooth. That's the reason why I allowed it to have one star.

Simply Calphalon Nonstick 13-Inch Round Grill Pan

Simply Calphalon Nonstick 13-Inch Round Grill PanFor the first few months I owned this pan, it earned five stars. The heat distribution is even, the nonstick surface is great...the only difficulty was cleaning the crannies where the grill lines meet the pan surface, but even that was a pleasure because I was always full of perfectly cooked chicken or steak. I bought the 11" square griddle, too, and it's great.

This pan lost all its stars because, even though I've been using nylon tools and Scotch Brite Multi-Purpose "Safe for Non-Stick!" sponges, the nonstick coating is coming off. I'm eating Teflon, or whatever it is they use to coat the pan. I can actually wear it off visibly by scrubbing it with a sponge. From a company like Calphalon, for a pan that's less than a year old, this sort of performance should earn negative stars, but one is as low as Amazon goes.

I've contacted them. If this turns out to be a manufacturer's defect and the replacement pan works for five years, I'll go right back to five stars when I update this review. I'll even revise it right when I get the pan. If I have to pay for return shipping, though, that'll cost a star. No way am I going to pay to return something defective just to get what I paid for in the first place.

I purchased this grill pan based upon it's best-in-class review from Cook's Illustrated. I have no regrets. This pan delivers excellent grill marks to meats and vegetables. I was pleasantly surprised by the large cooking area this round pan offers. In addition to performance, the price of this pan is hard to beat. It's an excellent addition to any kitchen.

I purchased this pan last Christmas (2007) locally for about $25. I had a pricey square Calphalon pan that we used but found it to be on the small size for cooking family meals. This larger round version is our favorite and is the pan that we reach for first when searching for a grill pan. The lighter version doesn't seem to make a difference in cooking & the pan cleans nicely.

Our use is not limited to hamburgers. Try bacon, other meats & even sliced veggies.

2/9/2010: We are still using this pan 3-4 times/week. It is holding up very well & still cleaning up nicely.

MLB Boston Red Sox 8 Piece BBQ Set

MLB Boston Red Sox 8 Piece BBQ SetThe set is really nice, sturdy metal utencils. My only issue is that the four skewers that come with it aren't really ang use as they have plastic on the top and bottom of the handles. We got really excited to make shiskabobs and within minutes the plastic was melted and useless. I dont know WHY they would have plastic for a grill skewer! We had to throw them out! So, all the other pieces are nice but it is really a 4 piece grill set for the same money. Oh, and being that this is the first time we've owned a grill, I reccommend getting a silicone basting brush instead of the one that comes with it... a pain to clean oil out of, and some of the bristles melted... so let me rephrase that.. its more like a 3 1/2 piece set.

quality product the only thing i would change is the plastic on the end of the skewers must be very careful

Rome's #42 Supertong Grilling Combo, Chrome Plated And Stainless Steel, 16 Inch Length

Rome's #42 Supertong Grilling Combo, Chrome Plated And Stainless Steel, 16 Inch LengthSimilar to what we've used for years, but ... the turner part isn't long enough. Like the mostly-stainless construction (all our previous units eventually rusted), but it's still not what we're looking for. Usable, but just not right.

My husband cannot grill without this. I am buying two for my sons-in-law and an extra for hubby. This is a great tool for grilling and barbque.

Bought these to replace a 20 year old pair of similar tongs I use when grilling. Can't believe how cheaply made they are. The spatula portion is extremely thin and my guess is if you dropped them it would dent or bend. It does what I want, but my guess is they won't last very long.

My boyfriend has an old pair of these BBQ Tongs that were rusting and he needed a new set. These were ok, but the spatula side is a bit small. They will do for a while...but I will probably order one that has a larger spatula. The price was right...

Spatula portion was very flimsy. It bent the first time i tried to scrape under a burger. Love the concept but you should buy a better quality tong.

Le Creuset Signature Enameled Cast-Iron 6-Piece Cookware Set

Le Creuset Signature Enameled Cast-Iron 6-Piece Cookware Set, CaribbeanI would easily recommend this product, perfect for cooking, the temperature is maintained during the cooking process.

You dont have to use high temperatures in the oven.

I love looking at it, handling it ( quite hefty-nothing lightweight or modern about it) and most of all cooking with it. I bought the flame ware set and and I leave one pot on the stove range to admire. I always wanted this set and although it is worth it, I simply could not justify paying full price. I saved almost 500.00 on this set-I also bought a separate pot and saved 150.00 on the smaller pot. I bought them all used and they were in perfect condition. Money well spent.

We started off with one Le Creuset pot and are since converted so we bought this entire set. We use one or more of these everyday and do feel they contribute to the quality of the cooking. These pots are designed to give a very even heat and will last a long time but care instructions must be followed.

The clean up is fairly easy tooif there is any sticky residue in the pot we just soak it overnight with some detergent and it comes right off the next morning.

These little things are outstanding for trussing up the chicken before putting it on the rotisserie. Quick and easy to use. They work great.

I was excited to see this on sale on Amazon, thought the days of struggling with twine was over, after all, how easy would this be? Not so. Found out very quickly that the ends do not stay together. More often than not, they'd come undone during the baking process. I went through 2 chicken roasting experiences to finally give up using this. Right now it's just sitting pretty in the kitchen drawer till the next yard sale.

I purchased this second set of ties for my husband as a Christmas gift, since the first set we got 6 years ago were finally wearing out. He uses them on the grill and in the oven, and to wash, we just throw back in their bag in the dishwasher. He mentioned that this newer set seems to latch better than the older set due to an improved design.
