Krups 132-46 Sandwich Express Sandwich Maker
THE BAD: problem is it's too small and cute. One slice of white bread barely fits in there and don't even think about putting Italian bread or real Sourdough bread in there..it just wont fit.
THE UGLY: when it's all over and you just endulged in this great melty cheesy snadwich thats gooey all over your hands, guess what..it's also gooey all over the sandwich maker as well! There are so many nookes and cranneys in this little machine that it's impossible to get all the melted on gunk. And after about 5 or 10 sandwiches you can just imagion the nastyness.
FINAL NOTE: ultimatly if you want to take the 20 min or so (and thats a conservative estimate) to clean this thing up each and every time you use it then it's a gret deal. It makes a variety or deli meat great hot sandwiches that literally melt in your mouth.

It's going to be a couple weeks before I receive mine, but I had the pleasure of using this machine at a friend's house and it prompted me to buy it here. Unlike some other brands I saw at the department store, this one has an adjustable hinge that lets you fit more in your sandwich. They have had it for a few months and use it all the time (When they're not using the George Foreman). It's very fast at sandwich making and the sandwiches taste great! Breakfast sanwiches, reubens, hor's d'oeuvres, leftovers, and don't forget the hot peanut butter and jelly! The possibilities are endless. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.Read Best Reviews of Krups 132-46 Sandwich Express Sandwich Maker Here
Just bought this 2 days ago. Love it for making sandwiches for myself and 2 year old. It's great if you're watching your weight because you can't squeeze a ton of junk on it, though a decent amount fits which is good for little one's sandwiches too. I have not found it hard to clean, definitely doesn't take 20 mins like someone said in one review. If you wait till it's just slightly warm and clean it with a dry paper towel over the sink, you can easily wipe the rest out with a damp sponge. 2 minutes tops. Love this thing, glad I bought it, just don't overstuff it.Bought this from another web site for 12.99 and it works great. Makes nice crisp sandwiches and very little mess to clean up. All I do is wipe it clean with a rag when I'm done. It takes about 4 minutes to warm up and about 4-5 minutes to cook. We really like this item.Saturday, April 12, 2014
Charcoal Companion Non-Stick Reversible Roasting / Rib Rack
This rack is very well made and sturdy. It says it has a non-stick coating, but you will need to treat it as if it does not. The rack heats up faster than the meat, so meat will pretty much stick to it wherever it touches unless it is treated with some oil. The first three racks of ribs I put on the rack (without treating it) got pretty well torn up trying to get them off.
When used as a rib rack, the dividers are not very tall nor do they have a lot of space between them, so if you want the best results with your ribs (especially spareribs), you will need to leave an empty slot between each rack to give the smoke a chance to surround the ribs. Also, the rack is a little small for spareribs. If you are doing spares, you may need a second rack, one for each end. It works well for baby back ribs, though, as far as size.
You may also want to slide a metal grate (such as a cooling rack) into the dividers with the spareribs to give them some more support as the ribs tend to flop over the top.
Overall a good addition to an avid griller/smoker's cooking arsenal. I recommend it to my friends that come over who want to get a smoker.the rack is very sturdy and versatile. Be sure to spray with oil before using or food will stick and is difficult to remove.

Even though this rack arrived with a broken weld on one of the dividing joints, it still worked fine and was easy to clean. It needs to be pointed out that you wouldn't want to fill all the slots with ribs in a 22.5" weber because some of the ribs would be directly over the coals. I could do 4 racks of baby backs and that is more than enough for 99.9% of my needs. I haven't tried the roasting side yet, but I'm sure it is also easy to clean. Had it not been for the bad weld, this would have received a 5 star rating.Product update 9/24/2012. After about 5 or 6 uses at least half of the welds broke rendering it useless. If the welds were good the 5 star rating would still apply, but I'm going to have NOT Recommend this product due to the shoddy workmanship.

This sturdy grill/oven rack will hold 3 racks of baby back or spare ribs if you cut them in half. The height of the arches supports the ribs well and are wide enough to handle beef ribs as well as pork. Reverse it, and it will easily hold a roast, whole poultry or ham and fit into a 9x13 pan if desired. While the rack is coated and generously labeled "non-stick," be sure to spray or wipe it with oil before use to make cleanup easier.Want Charcoal Companion Non-Stick Reversible Roasting / Rib Rack Discount?

Weber 6610 Original Tongs
Pros:
-Good steel
-Comfortable handle
-Ability to lock closed is nice
Cons:
-Spring steel to hold tongs open is unimpressive. After just a month or so of use they are already starting to stick closed
-Both grips curve inward. This is to improve the tongs' grip which would be perfect for fry pan tongs if all you were moving were chicken pieces you can grip anywhere but on a grill you need at least one of those to be flat so they can slide under food that you want to pick up. If you want to move a few racks of ribs, for instance, you will probably need to lift them with a spatula so you can grip them with these tongs. A better considered design for grilling would have one side flat so you could slide under food then grip them
These are not bad tongs but it's such a simple tool that not being thought makes it hard to like them, and at $13 on their own or $25-$30 for the set starting to stick closed after a short amount of time makes me feel they're not a great overall value either. Still, there are points to like so overall I think they're just OK, no more no less.
Feel free to leave a comment with any questions. I hope this is Helpful!I bought this item to let me move around hot briquettes after I dump them out of my Weber Starter Chimney. They are long enough to reach the briquettes while keeping my hand far enough away so as not to feel the intense heat of these little buggers! These tongs are also handy to move around goodies I am cooking. The only thing I would like to have had on these is a locking close button. They have quite a wide opening and storing them is not as convenient as it might be if they could be locked in the closed position. They came with these clear plastic restraining bands, but they were not intended for regular use. They're only to keep these tongs closed so they fit nicely in the box. Outside of the no close issue, they do what they're intended and are long enough to keep you safely away from the heat of the briquettes.

Bodum Chambord 21 by 21 cm, 8.3 by 8.3-Inch Cast Iron Enamel Grill Pan, Black
This is a product that really begs the reviewer to mention pros and cons, so I will mention the most notable of them, starting with the negatives so I can finish with the good points:
CONS:
* This pan is heavy! Six pounds.
* Comes without a whisper of information on care or use of the product (this is not acceptable).
* The stainless steel handle stays cool and is easy to hold, but it seems to be just a bit loose from the get-go. Anyone have a foot-long screwdriver I can borrow?
* Speaking of the handle, does it have to be QUITE so long? I have room to store it, but do you?
* Takes some soaking and scrubbing to clean.
* The sides are low and there is some spatter, though less than I expected.
* Arrives from Amazon in a carton that's almost as big as a kayak.
PROS:
* It's sturdy; not going to warp or dent or deteriorate. Investment kitchenware.
* It's preseasoned and cooks beautifully with minimal oil.
* Works on any kind of burner (mine is electric).
* I love my black one but it does come in several bright enameled colors too.
* According to the Bodum site, you can put it in your dishwasher (if the handle fits).
* Though the price is steep, it compares favorably to other top-quality brands of cast-iron cookware.
So if you have the muscle, and the space in your kitchen for a specialized item like the Bodum Chambord grill pan, go for it because this is an excellent piece of equipment that you're sure to enjoy using for years and years.
Linda Bulger, 2011 I love this because most of the grease that used to be on my steaks is now at the bottom of the pan. The only thing that would improve this is if they made a lid for it, because I feel like the grease is floating around the kitchen every time I cook meat without a lid. It is really well made though and should last a lifetime. Don't drop on your toes or you might break them since this is really heavy! If it wasn't this heavy though, it wouldn't last long. It's really easy to clean too.

I've never been a big fan of grill pans I've always found that they don't sear well and are generally disappointing when compared to grilling on a real grill. The Bodum Chambord is the first grill pan I've used that works as advertised. The substantial cast-iron build means that once the pan gets hot it retains it's heat so it cooks the food faster, the small size means that it is easy to store in the kitchen and the grilling surface cleans up very easily. I've grilled everything from veggies, to burgers and dogs to sandwiches and they all came out great. If you've never used a cast iron pan before they take longer to heat up so you have to be patient before you put your food on. The upside to this wait is that the pan also takes longer to cool down. While this pan isn't stuitable as a total relacement for a grill it's a nice option if you just want to grill indoors. I couldn't be happier with this pan. I am a vegetarian so I am not cooking steaks or chops on this pan, but I do cook things like veggie burgers and grilled cheeses, etc. I like the pan, although there are two things about it that are somewhat bothersome: you have to be extremely careful to cook your food evenly on it, otherwise the food easily burns and this makes for a difficult clean up. And, speaking of cleanup, the pan is difficult to clean in general, especially when food gets between the grooves; the other night I cooked some sauerkraut next to my veggie burger, and it was a minor nightmare cleaning the sauerkraut remnants later. So as long as you're careful not to let items burn and as long as you're choosy about only cooking items that won't be terribly difficult to clean up after, this is a good pan. I use it often and like it, even though I feel like I have to be especially careful when using it, in a way I wouldn't with another pan.

I ordered this cast-iron grill pan, because I Love Grilled Peppers. I received a versatile grill pan that cooks evenly and delivers exactly what it's made to deliver: beautifully grilled food.HERE ARE THE PROS:
1) If you're cooking meat, it keeps it above the oil. And it cooks it evenly, too.
2) The secondary handle makes it easy to lift and drain oil out of the pan.
3) Grilling vegetables is very simple -and they come out looking like I went to the trouble of borrowing my neighbor's barbeque.
4) Clean up is quick, *if* you wash the pan while it's still warm. (Don't allow it to sit with grease on it. No. Do not. It's NOT fun cleaning it cold. I speak from experience.)
5) Makes neat grilled sandwiches; they look " professional and everything." The kids also announced said sandwiches looked Expensive. (I made paninis with sun-dried tomatoes and cheese.)
6) The sides are low enough for easy serving.
7) Good, solid grill pan for the price.
8) At 8.3"x8.3" it's the perfect size for most stove-top grilling.
HERE'S THE CON:
1) This pan is very heavy. I'm disabled, and I must have help lifting and cleaning it if I'm tired and/or in pain.
I LOVE this Bodum Chambord pan! I recommend it without reservation. I cook vegetables three times daily, and it's a pleasure and a joy to have the option of indoor grilling. Just be aware when you order that you're getting the Real Deal -a grill pan designed to last a lifetime.

I LOVE this griddle! The coating Paula Deen has put on her pans is wonderful!!! I switched from another brand name pots & pans to Paula Deen pots & pans because of the coating. You need very little oil/shortening when frying, which is a real plus! I highly recommend her pots & pans. In fact I showed them to my daughter and she tried them and switched to Paula Deen also! This griddle came with a set we purchased from a big box store. The griddle warped after about 6 months. The rest of the set is fine.Saturday, September 7, 2013

These aren't very good pans. They come up in the center and no I didn't over heat it either. They cook very unevenly too. Ok for the price i guess. Not as good as the old basic essentials that i have, the quality has changed. : (Now I've had these a almost a year and I have to say they are CHEAP and not well made at all. They say dishwasher safe but I always hand wash pans because they tend to bow after a while. Well these bowed without ever putting them in the dihwasher and I've always heated them on low or medium. You get what you pay for.

Simply Calphalon Nonstick 11-Inch Square Griddle
The exterior is a dark gray non-chip hard anodized aluminum, and does not seem flimsy in any way. The interior a non-stick interior surface, which makes clean up a breeze. As with all the pieces of the "Simply" Calphalon line, it has a chrome handle with a silicone inlay for heat transference, so you pick it up without a potholder.
I am glad I purchased this as an additional piece to my new "Simply" Calphalon set. This griddle (as is the "Simply" Calphalon 10-piece set I added it to) is made in China.

I have found for pancakes (and omelettes) you need to buy a good quality pan and this Caphalon has been great. It gives even heat, which is really important for good pancakes. It is a bit big to store but still smaller than a typical 12 inch large frying pan that most families have. I am very careful to use a Silicon Caphalon large spatula to keep the surface nice. But so far, so good, the surface has held up so far.Read Best Reviews of Simply Calphalon Nonstick 11-Inch Square Griddle Here

Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick 11-Inch Square GriddleOur Calphalon griddle was "dead-flat" and worked very well when it was new; I would have rated it at 5 stars.
Unfortunately, after about a year or so, the bottom bulged downward; so much so, that it rocks to and fro on the very center of the griddle on our glass-top electric range. [My wife had always cleaned it in hot water, since we knew putting a hot griddle in cold water could cause this to happen.] It's still usable but most of the griddle's bottom no longer touches the range's glass top.
Click on Customer Images to see the "bulge".
We replaced the Calphalon with a Circulon Elite Nonstick 12" Round Griddle; its bottom doesn't bulge. The Circulon is also aluminum, but has a heavy bonded-on stainless steel bottom plate. The total thickness of the bottom is about 3/8", versus 1/8" for the Calphalon.
