I only had raclette once before ordering this, so I don't have a connoisseur's understanding of it all, but I can say that this grill does a great job for my family and I. I like the idea of the granite top better than a metal one. It just seems cleaner and maybe healthier for you. The pans and scrapers are fine and it actually heated up for cooking in less time than the other raclette I had before. The granite seemed to stain a little and was somewhat difficult to clean, but I really don't mind. You only see the stains when it's heating up and before any food goes on it. After that, it's covered in meats and vegetables, and that's all that really matters!

My wife and I had dinner with friends who had a Raclette. We cooked steak, shrimp, melted cheese and had a great time.

So, we ordered one. This Swissmar Raclette is great. Has a nice stone top that looks great and functions great.

We've had friends over to cook on it and everything turned out wonderful. Can melt cheese in the bottom trays and we've put mushrooms and potatoes in the trays. I nuke the potatoes first.

We have done Raclette; fajita night, pizza night, quesodilla night and traditional meat and potatoes. This also makes wonderful breakfast. Omelet toppings, crepes and pancakes. Lekker!!!

Really great material, works perfectly. We enjoy the meals everytime we use it. You only need to choose the right meat(diced cut, swiss cheese (sliced)and some veggies(medley potatoes boiled, roasted peppers, whatever you like)on the side. Easy to clean. Excellent buy. Delivery was super fast.

This grill heats up quickly and does a great job cooking vegetables and melting cheese. We used this twice for different family dinners, and the experience of sitting around the table together (which is less and less common among families these days, it seems) and "cooking" our meal was wonderful. We chatted and laughed. Food as social and familial bond. Wonderful. The stone is relatively easy to clean, but I would recommend the scraper that is sold by Swissmar since you aren't supposed to use anything abrasive when cleaning up. Quality product that provides lots of enjoyment!

Chrome Plated Steel Footed Wire Plate Steam Rack, 9"

This product says it is 9 inches, and while the round rack part is, the feet stick out almost 1/2 inch past the plate on all sides, making this almost 10 inches across. I bought it for canning in my stock pot which I measured before buying this product. A 9 inch rack would have fit perfectly, but since this one is really 10 inches, it does not fit at all.

I will use this both in my canning and also I use it for my sun oven. It can also be used as a trivet. The quality is pretty good but I don't recommend pulling off the tag, cut it instead!

Emile Henry 12-Inch Pizza Stone, Olive

First time out, it arrived with one handle-tab broken off. Amazon replaced it in less than one week! I purchased it for use in the oven and on the BBQ for making individual pizzas.

It is non-stick ... if you don't allow molten cheese to flow over the pizza edge.

In a back-to back oven comparison of this product and my old, large pizza stone, the Emile Henry did not "puff up" the crust as much as did the old stone. I believe this is because the instructions call for the EH to be put into the hot oven without pre-heating, while on the BBQ it is to be pre-heated, and I'm pretty sure that will take care of the "puff" difference.

It is beautiful, light and well-worth purchasing.

This stone worked well, I was pleasantly surprised. I bought dough at a store with the initials TJ. Using my Weber gas grill I got the temp to 450 it took 13 min to cook one pizza.

A little OO worked to keep food from sticking.

Came out crisp and just right. OO is olive oil.

I used the outer burners only. The temp was based on the gauge built into the hood. Now need another stone so I can make two at once.

This is a good product to cook 'the basics', such as hamburgers, sausage patties, hot dogs/franks, and the like. Be sure the cooking surfaces are 'seasoned' (spread some cooking oil on the cooking surfaces with a paper towel and then heat the cooking surfaces on 'low' for about 1 minute) before first use and then about every two weeks thereafter to maximize the 'non-stickiness' of the cooking surfaces. I wish the owners manual would recommend 'seasoning' the cooking surfaces before first use which is why I rated this product at 4 stars instead of 5.

This is a great grill for beginners, it is a bit small, but plenty of room to cook for 2 people

Heuck Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Cookware 9-1/4-Inch Square Grill Pan

The first thing I'd like to say it that this is pretty small. The widest inside measurement is 8-5/8" not 9-1/4". It's also very light weight and would be good for camping. That being said we have grilled a few very large chicken breast, a Salmon Filet and a few Turkey Burgers so far. They all came out good. For the two of us it's perfect. Cleans up easily with hot water. I have cooked with Cast Iron most of my life. I oil and re-heat after each use. Sort of a continual seasoning. However if you have a larger family I would get a bigger pan.

I love grilled meat, but live in an apartment. This pan is a good way to get my grill on at the stovetop. I also use it to grilled sandwichs, but a word of caution use it with hearty breads, not soft Sara Lee-type breads. Works well on my electric stove, haven't tried it on a gas stove.

I thoroughly dislike this pan and have given it to Good Will. It is impossible to clean because food sticks to it in between the ridges [even if you use something like Pam or just straight olive oil]. Flat cast iron surfaces are much easier to maintain. I am disappointed not to be able to get the benefits of cast iron in a grill pan. I am going back to stainless steel.

I never realized how much a little grill pan could assist with making great tasting fish. But this pan does. And it comes pre-oiled and ready to use. I do find that it shows slight rust after use, but I just wipe it away before I use it each time. Wonderful pan, and yummy fish for me!

Used this for the first time last night on a rib-eye steak.

The interior surface is rough not the raised lines, which are desireable but the cast-iron itself.

The pan did not heat evenly and I had to add two minutes to the broil time.

This combo is a SOLID 25 lbs. Good quality product. Be sure to follow the directions and season it before its initial use. It would be a good idea to have a baster handy to siphon the excess grease from the grill. I used sea salt to clean up and made sure to dry the unit thoroughly before storing it away in the carry bag.

I bought this griddle for pancakes, grilled cheese, and the occasional hibachi-style Asian meal for my growing family. Overall, I think it's a solid choice for such tasks. It transfers and holds heat well, as cast iron typically will. The manufacturer's shipping department, however, proved unreliable to say the least. The first one we received was cracked due to insufficient packaging, and then they replaced it with the wrong product, and finally, almost a month after ordering it, a new one was delivered intact. I hope this experience is not typical, and the customer service rep was personally helpful.

The griddle is pretty well constructed, though I noticed that the flat side was not as flat as it should have been. It looked as if the ridges on the other side had caused a few undulations in the surface. It's not severe enough to really affect day-to-day use so far, but don't expect a plate-glass-flat surface.

I use this griddle on top of my 5-burner gas stove, and I can run all five burners under it for a full cooking surface. Or I can turn on two or three burners and reserve a space for keeping food warm. Be advised that there will still be some cooler spots between the burners, even with all of them going. If you insist on very even heat across the whole surface, you might be happier with a high-end electric griddle. That said, cast iron heats more evenly over a burner than most other cookware made of other materials, and you can learn to utilize the cooler spaces for slower cooking.

Anyone considering buying this product should think carefully about the product specs. The usable cooking surface is 23"X13", which is big. But be sure it will fit on your intended heat source. It may not sit securely on some stovetops. And yes, it really does weigh 25 lbs. Suffice to say, cleaning it can be a challenge. I usually scrape it thoroughly with a nylon scraper or spatula while it's still warm, and wash it down with hot, soapy water while it's still on the stovetop but has cooled somewhat. Then I heave it over to the sink to rinse it off with the sprayer. I return it to the stovetop to dry it over low heat. Or you can use a paper towel to dry it. I really like cooking on cast iron, so I think this extra trouble is worth it.

The griddle comes with a handy bag for storage, though the zipper broke almost immediately. And finding storage space for something this size can be interesting. It fits in one of our cabinets, but barely. The included instructions suggest seasoning the griddle before using. That's a nice idea, but it doesn't fit in my oven, and because seasoning produces a lot of smoke, I'm not about to do this on the stovetop. Fortunately, a well-cared-for cast iron surface will eventually build up a very nicely seasoned surface. Finally, although this feels very durable, be aware that any cast iron can crack or shatter if dropped on a hard surface, so handle it carefully when moving it.

The grill works as promised. We use it only for pancakes. The metal surface is smooth and high quality cast iron. The only problem is this puppy is heavy and large. Perhaps I got carried away when ordering one this big.

Although this griddle can cook a pound of bacon at a time, it has a major design flaw. The manufacturer did not temper this capacious slab of cast iron. So while enjoying the normal popping and splattering noises of bacon being rendering into luscious breakfast meat, I suddenly heard an explosion. Someone had fired a 50-caliber round into my kitchen at short range! Ok, no. It was just my new griddle. It had cracked right down the middle. Cast iron items must be "tempered" at the factory post-casting. This object probably was not. I can't recommend it, because the resulting crack lets cooking grease drip right over the burners.

It was larger and heavier than I expected, so great quality. That also makes it hard to wash, but I am absolutely happy with my purchase.

I actually use it on top of my stove and grills excellent. I can make anything from Waffle House style pancakes and hash browns, to the best grilled chicken perfect for a panini sandwich.

My BBQ has not been cleaned in a long time and was in great need of a full cleaning. After seeing how much nasty came off using this product I will definitely be doing annual cleaning after winter. Worked really well on loosening and softening the dirt and grime up. Have not had a chance to compare it to anything else but I did see a large section of cleaners at the local home improvement store.

There are a lot of warning when using this product so you should probably get gloves to use it with. Also, the spray trigger broke... maybe because I am so strong (or cheap plastic). I did some spring cleaning, part of which included the grill. This helps some of the baked on mess come right off. Some bits require additional treatments and soak time. Make sure you also have a solid steel scrub brush too.

My BBQ hadn't been washed for a year. We just placed aluminum foil over it and burned it off but it never got real clean. I have never used a cleaner for a BBQ before so I can't don't know if its better than others, but it took 4 applications with the use of a medium soft brass wire brush with a blade scrapper (by rubbermaid). It looks almost new except for some stains that I lost motivation on. I would suppose that it would clean up much easier if I hadn't waited a year to work on it. The cleaner didn't hurt my bare hands, but kept washing them off. There was no obvious bubbling, it just softened things up for the brush. I gave it 5 stars since I have nothing to compare it too. Was kinda expecting some bubbling, but nope.

Seems to clean okay. We had been spraying it after every grilling session. Still need to scrub the grates too though.

I have thrown it away however because of a mishap with our 3 year old. I had been keeping the cleaner outside under the grill, behind a cover, so it was easily accessible to spray on after grilling. It is our fault, though it doesn't take long for little one's to get into things they shouldn't, but our 3 year old got ahold of it and sprayed a little on the cement patio before we caught him to put it up.

A few days later we see that not only has the concrete been eaten away, but our boy had little peeled pieces of skin on the fingertips (pad portion) of his fingers. I think after he sprayed he must have bent down to touch the "liquid". I called the Poision Control Center number as suggested on the back of the bottle.

The chemical in this cleaner is a CORROSIVE acid, meaning that if you get any on your skin, it will not just burn the first layer but will seep into your skin and burn into a few more layers. In fact, on the back of the bottle it says if there is skin contact to rinse for 15-20 MINUTES! Wish I would have read the back of the bottle right away when we bought it.

Within the next week new spots would appear on his fingers due to the continued burn of the acid that could not be rinsed off at that point because it had already seeped into his skin. It took 4 weeks for his fingers to heal. During the 4 weeks we had to keep them bandaged alternating with Neosporin and Hydrocortisone Cream that we got from the doctor when we took him in.

I am so very, very grateful none of it got into his eyes or his mouth. I can't even imagine what would have happened to him after seeing what happened to his fingers. I think we will stick to the good old fashioned scrub brushes.

This fan barely moves any air. The fan was wired backwards and to have it blow air in you have to set it to exhaust. After three weeks of use, one of the two fans quit working. I wouldn't recommend this fan to anyone.

My son's 6th floor dorm room in San Diego was 80 degrees with no air conditioning. This fan was perfect for two reasons. First, it does not require installation in the window because it has feet and he can place it on the window sill, so he can leave the screen on and not worry about bugs. Secondly the fan exchanges the room air with an intake fan and exhaust fan. His room is running 8 degrees cooler and he is sleeping much better. He already had a free standing fan and wanted a second fan. I am so glad we purchased this Optimus window fan.

The fan is reliable, works fine, but the output is miniscule. For the price, I would have assumed I would be able to create a nice breeze. When the wind kicks up outside over 10 mph, it actually makes the fans move faster than if they were plugged in. Would not recommend if you are using it in the South during the summer.

I tried this product out. But it is a cheap piece of junk for the most part. It does not fit in a standard window very well, and is somewhat clunky to use the side visors. The entire product is made of very cheap flimsy plastic. I doubt it is going to last very long, and it feels like it will fall apart if I touch it. It is not worth the price, not even close.

Horrible fan, it is quiet because it doesn't move the air! I thought that is what a fan is supposed to do, move the cool night air into the house! This one, the air can be barely felt even on high, like I said I could blow harder. If you want to move air into a house do not get this fan. I got it because at the time of my purchase the reviews were good.
