Since you have no way of knowing before purchase, I want to point out something that I find important. The hinge is not slotted and completely smashes the back of the sandwich and pushes the cheese to the front of the maker when the lid is closed. A simple and free improvement to this would be to add slotted hinges to allow 1/2 to 3/4 inch of upper plate travel. Then the upper plate would sit flat and not crush the sandwich. Makes me wonder if people who make products actually use them.
To turn this fan on, you rotate a circular piece of plastic counterclockwise. It's that gray stripe at the bottom. Well, it goes around the whole fan, and you have to turn it. The problem is that even on any kind of surface, carpet, wood, or linoleum, the pads on the bottom of this fan do not provide enough traction to let me turn it on without using both hands: One hand to hold the fan in place, and the other to rotate the circle. Looks great, just doesn't work great. Enough inconvenience to take two stars off. I also think that how vacant the inner chamber is limits how well this fan can project its heat. It's only good for very small rooms, or immediate-area warming but it isn't advertised as a whole-room heater, so that doesn't really matter. I paid 13 dollars total for mine (bought 3) and I think that's an appropriate price for them. Not more, not less. Unless these match your decor, or you are in desperate need of a heater, try to find something else, I would say, just for the switch problem

I've had mine for about 4 months now, and the heater portion no longer works. Just blows air through the fan, but the coils don't heat up now. The price was cheap for having at my desk at work where they keep it a little too chilly, but now it's pretty much useless. Was nice for the 4 months it worked though. Also the on/off "switch" is annoying as another reviewer mentioned. It was not as good as the orig sharper image heater.I liked the orig better. the one I had a couple years ago lasted a long time.
Received pan which was very tinny. The rack was broken at a solder point and was partially rusty. Not a good value at all.

I have used this grill with great pleasure. It's large enough to hold enough food for 4 servings, plus the griddle comes in handy for toasting buns and such. I haven't had it smoke at all. It grills just like outdoors, including the grill marks. And I can have something grilled and on the table fast. No one has to go out on the deck to cook. It's all done on the countertop. I can't say enough good things about this grill. Cleanup is easy and fast, two of my favorite words in the kitchen. I did a lot of research and reading reviews before making this purchase. I believe I found the best of the indoor grills out there.

This grill is wonderful. With the glass lid, you place water in the pan below the grill and it keep meats and vegetables moist. There is no smoking on any of the items that I have cook. After reading the many raving reviews, I was pumped up over the purchase of this grill. I'm pretty much a carnivore and eat a lot of meat. I recently bought a West Bend rotisserie oven and it works great, and I've been using it a lot, so I went with the West Bend brand again.
I bought this just to get the FreshVac containers since these are not made anymore. It has one large and 3 small FreshVac containers, but the 3 small containers only have 1 lid. I guess most would use 2 of the containers as food/water bowls. The storage bag is made of a lightweight insulated material that is separated into 2 compartments (the top compartment is further divided into 3 areas) to keep items separate and cold or hot, and comes with a built-in shoulder strap. Not a bad little setup for pets, but would also work for simple picnics for 2-3 people.
I m in school and work fulltime do it I'd not easy to prepare snacks and meals. This little guy take the worry out of some of that. That can make cheese sandwiches, Nutella and peanut butter and even add ham or turkey when they like....
This was a gift. I was excited about it at first, but I should have known that it was a bad idea. Water doesn't spray out, it dribbles, falls onto the hot coals, and creates a back flash of ash onto the cooking grate. I also wasn't overly impressed with the so called steam cleaning, if it can even be called that. Sure dripping water on a hot surface will create steam, but not enough to clean as this claims to do. It didn't on my grill. It also is useless on corners, and it doesn't work any better than a regular old wire brush. I used it once and it has since found a home somewhere out in the garage, or it may have gotten packed in the Goodwill box. I saw a bunch of high reviews on this product so maybe mine is defective.
