The electric cord gets in the way. It's clumsy. This 6" Non-Stick skillet (with glass cover) would be ideal if made for stove top use.I have an 8" inch glass cover skillet which serves me better than the 6" electric cord skillet. However, being 95 and still doing my cooking, a 6" non-electric glass cover skillet would be easier for me to handle.

Have prepared for long-term use many types of non-stick products. Don't remember any giving up so soon. Used this little, otherwise practical, handy and pleasant pan for frying a cutup slice of spam and then adding eggs ovaeasy mix. The third morning, the egg began sticking to the pan, and it takes awhile for my nylon spatula to gently scrape of the baked-on residue. Not at all what one would expect, but still in use.Tuesday, June 17, 2014

These matches are cool! I've bought them in stores before and was excited to see the many options online. HOWEVER, I thought I was getting 2 boxes for the price. The image is deceiving and shows the front and back of one box. For that price, they are going back. Also, the image is a bit fuzzy...not pretty and crisp.Read Best Reviews of HomArt Large Decorative Pinecones Matches Here
I bought these lovely matches to include with a holiday candle as a gift for a friend. They are nice matches, and they are in a pretty, decorative box as described. However: When they arrived, a large inventory sticker covered one side of the box and the box was also taped closed on both ends overall not the look I was going for in a gift. I tried to remove the sticker and the tape, but it was impossible without ruining the box. I had to keep it for myself and find another set of matches for my gift. So, yes, they are nice enough matches. I just wish the pretty packaging hadn't been ruined before it even got to me.Wednesday, May 14, 2014

George Foreman GFSG80 Super Searing Grill, Stainless Steel
The grill is not large basically about 9 x 9 ", but it was large enough to hold 5 good sized boneless country ribs. The hinged top worked great the ribs where over an inch thick and there was complete contact from the top grill. The grease tray caught all of the drippings, and the non-stick surface cleaned easily with a wet paper towell do it while the grill is still warm.
The temperature is thermostatically controlled, and it holds whatever temp you set very well. Temps available are 300-425 in 25 degree increments, and of course the searing setting. The manual says not to press the surge (searing) button after the first searing, however being curious I tried pushing it again, and it did bring the temp up again. I think that there could be a grease fire hazard at that temp, so that is probably why they say not to do that. The grill has a small (and quiet) internal fan which cycles on and off to help hold the temperature setting. The stainless steel body of the grill gets too hot to touch, yet the handle never gets too hot though I imagine it could if you had it running for a long time. It also has a timer that you can set to remind you when your cooking time has been reached. The timer does not shut of the grill when it rings that must be done manually. The timer minutes and the temp are both shown in a small but very readable LED.
I'll update this review at a later date if parts start falling off or whatever but for now, I'm very happy with the results.
Updatestill working fine as of 11/2011!I recently received this grill as a wedding gift and have used it a few times since unpacking it. I have to say that I'm very impressed with it so far. At this time, I've cooked center cut porkchops, chicken breasts, hamburgers, and some veggies on the grill and all have turned out perfectly!
I've used the burst feature with a few of those meals and I think that feature is the best part of the machine. The "burst" allows you to sear the meat and lock in the flavor for the first 90 seconds of cook time. After 90 seconds, the temperature lowers to the set temperature and will remain on that temp until the cooking process is finished. Each meal that I've cooked has turned out perfectly very flavorful and tasty.
Reason I give 4 Stars:
VERY bulky the grill is not particularly big, but the casing of the grill is very bulky it's not a con for myself, but it may be one for those looking for a compact grill and who have less counter space
No removable plates although clean-up has not been particularly hard, it sure would be a perk to have removable plates...
All in all, I think this is a great grill and Amazon has the hands-down best price. This grill is at a popular bed and bath chain for $100 you just can't beat Amazon's prices. If you're looking for a great, all around counter-top grill, this one fits the bill. The floating hinge and burst features allow you to make everything from steaks to paninis It was everything that I was looking for!

It cooks nicely but the work it takes to clean it makes the item not worth using. It sits unused at this point. There's no drain for the top portion so when it's lifted off the cooked food it just runs down onto the back of the grill and onto the counter.Read Best Reviews of George Foreman GFSG80 Super Searing Grill, Stainless Steel Here
This gril preforms as advertized! Clean up is also much improved and easier done when it is cold (no more reheating the unit up or eating cold food in attempt to avoid reheating the unit for cleaning). The searing part of it is great!
The only possible improvement to this would be to be able to give it the charcoal flavor with this unit that is merely a dream.
The grilling surface area is DEFINITELY large enough for a family of four.
Should you purchase this and I am totally pleased especially with the stainless steel finish, read the instructions carefully otherwise you may end up with a darkened countertop since I heeded that I have had no problem with that.
I highly recommend this product for anyone. I am a widow so I was surprised at the cooking area of this grill I simply cook more than one item on it at a time.

WearEver A827SC64 Cook and Strain Nonstick Stainless Steel Handle Red Metallic Exterior 12-Piece Co
The strainer lids are also exceptionally handy. These were a major selling point for me. I hate to have to get out the strainer or colander all the time. It's a pain to deal with it, and it's a pain to clean. The strainer lids allow me to make most dishes without bothering with external strainers. They are secure and snug, and the handles don't seem to get very hot, either.
If you're looking for a good set of pots and pans, this is a great set. I highly recommend it. The price is decent, they look nice, and they do the job very well. I consider this money well spent.

Cuisinart CGS-5014 14-Piece Deluxe Stainless-Steel Grill Set
The case looks nice except the velco straping that holds the tools in were already falling apart. I think I'll just try some fabric glue to fix them. The stitching was weak on almost all of them.
If you are buying these for the case you might reconsider, but the tools are awesome.First I will say that I love Cuisinart products and that is why I ordered these ones over any other. For the first time I am disappointed in one of their products. The tongs don't lock closed, which is a mild inconvenience, especially when putting back in the cheaply constructed case. The case hinges are not square and the lid closes "off" just a little. I have to push it into place to make it latch properly. The part that really irritates me and dropped the score so far is that the tongs will not pick up any weight. I love to slow cook roasts on my grill and these tongs will not pick up a 3lb. roast. My cheap Wal-Mart tongs did fine with this all the way up to a 5 or 6 lb roast. When I bought my new grill I wanted a good set of tools to go with it. They are cheaply made and bend under any amount of weight. Plus the cleaner brush has a straight handle and the grate has to be pulled off the grill to be cleaned properly. My old one had a handle with about a 30 degree bend in it and could use to clean more effectively even with the grate still on the grill. Just a poorly made kit all together.

The tools themselves are okay and of decent quality. The case, as mentioned before, is very cheap. The interior was torn upon delivery before I even opened it. The tongs really could use a mechanism for holding them shut as well, so you don't HAVE to store them in the case to keep them from taking up an entire drawer. The reason I bought this set over an almost identical one was because of the "$20 Omaha Steaks Gift Reward Card" which isn't a reward card AT ALL. I live less than 5 minutes from an actual Omaha Steaks store, and thought I would stop in and grab a few things. 1) This "reward card" can not be used in stores, only online or over the phone. 2) It isn't a "reward card" at all; it is a COUPON and you have to spend $80.00 to use it...

Weber Style 6445 Professional-Grade Stainless-Steel 3-Piece Barbeque Tool Set
I was impressed when I opened the Amazon box. Quality thick metal, attractive, looked long & large and perfect for hot grills. My husband's very impressed and said grilling with them was 'perfect'. You can't see it in the picture very well but there's a non-slip coating on the bottom of each tool, which is nice (as long as it doesn't fall apart.) We washed the set in the dishwasher already (on top rack) and they turned out brand new looking. The only thing you need to add to this set is a grill brush for cleaning.
I was torn between this set and the All-Clad set. Obviously the All-Clad is over triple the price so I went with this set and was pleased. If for some reason this set dies prematurely, I will be forced to buy the All-Clad as I am sick of rebuying the same thing. But thankfully, for now, I didn't have to & saved money. I love the quality!
This is my first Weber product and I must say I am thrilled. If my grill dies I will most likely buy a Weber.
Try this set out; I bet you'll be pleased.
Update: 6 months later, the set's holding up beautiful and cleans up nicely in dishwasher. A great purchase.
Update: 1 year later, looks just as it did when it was new! Buy this one.
Update: 2 years later: Just like the 1 year review, this is the set to buy, perfect even 2 years later!I have used lots of different types of bbq tools and these by far are the best. The tongs are really where it is at, the other tools don't really matter as much. Some tongs aren't spring loaded unlike these which are and don't open very far, maybe far enough to grab a chicken leg, but that is it. These tongs will open to the width of a pork chop and the thing that I like most is the actual gripping surface, the jaws are nice and smooth so they will not tear skin! If your thinking that this set is too expensive at least buy the tongs individually, well worth it. I used to think that anything that had the Weber logo was just expensive because of the brand, but the more I use their stuff, the more I can justify the price tag.

I take great pride in my Weber Genesis Silver grill. It treats me well and I enjoy the Weber name and quality ... so I decided to splurge on the Weber grill tool set. They are awesome. They are weighty, ergonomic and durable. Worth every penny whether you grill on a Weber or not.I highly recommend this set!I grill a lot. When I got married, one of the gifts received was a grill tools set from a well-known high-end cooking shop (I don't know if Amazon wants other companies mentioned by name). They are beautiful, work well, but they have rosewood handles, that while pretty and functional mean you can't leave them outside and the dishwasher is off-limits. I've always admired people that clean up immediately after eating and entertaining but try as I might, I will never be one of them. I would love to leave my tongs hanging off the side of the grill until I'm good and ready to clean up and put stuff awayusually the next morning as I tend to enjoy many adult beverages while preparing said BBQ feasts! I came to dread pulling out my very pretty BBQ tools because I knew it meant I'd be washing them in the sink and I can't tell you how much I hate that. When I switched from cooking on a gasser to using charcoal and wood, I began cooking on the grill more and more. And I started hating my grill tools more and more. When I saw these, they looked like it would be the answer I needed. They are solid. They feel good in the hand. The tongs open widely, are spring-loaded and have a lock on them to lock closed. The spatula has a beveled leading edge which makes it easier to slide under your burgers. The fork is a fork, don't know anyone that actually uses these but whatever, it's included. All three have hooks to hang them on things and rubber where your hand grips the tool. And they are DISHWASHER-SAFE. Yeah, boy, I love these things. Toss them in the dishwasher when you are done and they look as good as they did the day you bought them. I guess they are relatively expensive but I've never minded paying for quality and I feel they are worth what they cost. They should last a good long time and expect to use these for many years.

Anybody who does outdoor cooking can tell you there are three specific things they need in a set of grill tools. First, it has to be heavy duty enough to handle a big piece of meat without bending. Second, it can't rust if you forget it outside overnight. Third, no plastic trim that is going to melt in the fire. Right there, 90% of the sets marketed as Father's Day bargains fall short.I expected much more from Weber as a three-time owner (Genesis, bullet smoker and Smoky Joe). And these tools are a big disappointment. The design overpowers the function. They're great if you are a collector of Danish Modern but otherwise they are awkward to use and not really thought out. The tines of the fork can be bent with your fingers... not good. The tongs lack a clasp to keep them shut when they're not in use. Worst of all, the overall balance is off. They don't have that comfortable heft when you are using them and when you hang them on the pegs on the side of your Genesis the slightest jostle knocks them to the ground.
The day after I first used these I was in a big box store and saw a set from K*ngsford at half the price. Wish I'd bought those instead.

Weber Baby Q (Q 100) Portable Gas Grill
Assembly: Simple: Attach lid w/2 pins, screw handle on lid, slide cap on regulator, then slide in grease pan.
Tip: I really urge you to buy a hose adapter and hook up to a larger tank, but if you have to use smaller tanks it uses the long 14oz tanks sold in the hardware department, or remove the outside screw to the tank holder ring and bend it out so you can use the regular 16.4 oz tanks from the camping department.
StartUp: I am still amazed, turn regulator knob to start and push the ignitor and it lights up!
Break in: None..but the grill is NOT nonstick, Just wash the grill before the first use. (It is coated to prevent rust, not to be non-stick), so use oil on the food. Heat up the grill first for 10 or 15 minutes to get hot and oil grate to prevent sticking. I talked at length with Weber about the cooking grate and you do not season this grate!
Cooking: Anything you want to cook fast, GO HIGH...burgers, steaks, shrimp...great grill marks. (I just couldn't make a good steak on a portable gas grill until now). Great taste! Anything else, GO LOW...dogs, brats, potato wedges, corn on the cob. Always cook chicken on low or skins will burn and stick. You can also just mix the oil in with a marinade.
Flare up: Almost none. I intentionally cooked very fatty thighs and got very little flare up, but did get lots of splatter making the chicken turn dark, but it cooked off. Just trim a little...
Clean up: Just scrape, burn, and scrape grate again with brass bristles. If that doesn't work don't be scared to just wash it. For the inside I just scrape down towards the bottom with a piece of cardboard so everything falls out the bottom hole into the grease pan. This is very handy.
It stays cool underneath! BBQ on any surface!!!
Hello again, it's been 18 months since I did this review and after being abused all summer and winter and another summer it still works the same as the first day! I've used mine 2 or 3 times a week in the summer and at least once a week for football and NASCAR. I heat my grate for 10 minutes, brush it, take it off and spray it with a garden hose (every time), heat again for 5 minutes then spray with oil and still not one speck of rust. How you clean yours is up to you, all I'm saying is it's virtually rustproof.
TIPS: I put it in a plastic storage container with all the stuff that goes with it, then put it on the pontoon boat, take it back out and bbq right on top of the plastic container! Who needs expensive carriers when you can buy a wheeled plastic storage container and use it as a bbq table too. I also put a little thermometer on the front top, drill one hole and it screws right on. Oh, and one last thing, I only used $27.00 of propane the whole time (3 tanks)..how bout that!
Three years and still goin strong. I haven't replaced anything!
My other BIG Charbroil Gas grill has since rusted away and needs new grills and drip plates.
Four years and I still haven't had to replace anything. It still works as good as the day I bought it and the cast iron porcelain-enameled cooking grate still has NO RUST!
Five years and I still haven't had to replace anything. It still works as good as the day I bought it and the cast iron porcelain-enameled cooking grate still has NO RUST!
Seven years and still works great. Even the electronic starter still works. I bought another one on clearance from a lumber store because the box had a hole in it for $129.00. I took my seven year old one out to the back yard and washed it and sprayed it with Krud-Kutter all over and got most of the grease off. Took a brass brush and cleaned the burner good opening all the holes back up and spent about 25 minutes really scraping and brushing the grate and it still heats up to 500 degrees in about 15-20 minutes. I finally got some rust on the grate by leaving it out in the winter for a week with no cover and one of the few times it snowed here the grill was open. Just clean it and oil it back up. It works as good as the new one. I have thermometers on the front top of both of them and they work identically. I may take a video of both of them for you.If small spur of the moment gatherings are your thing then this is the perfect grill for you.
Here's why:
1) Its small size makes it a very portable grill thus allowing you and your peeps to escape to the beach or hang out in the alley behind your flat to enjoy some "flame kissed" cow product.
2) Its small size makes it perfect for burgers and dogs for 4-6 friends but if you are cooking for a backyard full of friends and family you may want to consider a larger grill.
3) I own this grill as well as Thermos' "Grill-2-go". The "flame kissed" burgers that this "baby-q" churns out are much tastier than the G2G's greasy rendition of the all american beef patty treat.

First of all, gotta give Amazon their just creditordered on Feb 2nd, and received grill on the 6th using Super Saver shipping. Can't beat that.I'm a former professional chef and I wanted a grill that would work well, but didn't need a larger(and much more expensive) gas grill. I have a commercial smoker, a deep fryer, and a 4 burner cooktop that I use more often than I grill, so a big monster of a grill would just take up space and use more gas for the 10-12 times a year I would use it. The portable grills I had tried in the past were all cheaply made and suffered from poor design which led to flare ups and burning. I was hesitant to go with the Weber, but took the chance based on user reviews I saw here and elsewhere. I'm glad I did.
I opened the box to find a very nicely constructed grill made out of quality materials. Assembly took all of 3 minutes(just attach handle with 2 screws and lid with two cotter pins, then drop grill into place). Heavy cast iron grill for good grill marks over well designed burner system. Very nice so far. I attached grill to 20# tank using adapter I also ordered which lets me supply the Weber from the same tanks I use for the other cooking equipment. Adapter dosen't require removal of anything from grill so you maintain total portability if you need it.
Grill fired on first push of starter button, and after about 5 minutes of pre heating I threw on a couple of burgers. Cooking went well with minimal flaring, and the cast iron grill gave great marks just like in the pretty pictures you see in magazines. It has only seen the one test cook, but this grill is well worth the money IMO, and I believe it has a great future on my deck. The size is ample for 4-5 ribeyes or 2 large T-bones or maybe 8+ burgers. This is fine for me as my grilling is usually limited to 2-4 people. The Weber Q is the Baby Q's larger sibling and it is slightly larger if you need the extra space.
Only possible concern you might have is your need for a side burner, smoker, or rotisseree attachment if you don't have these needs otherwise covered. But for pure grilling, I see nothing to complain about with the Baby Q.

I had one problem when my grill arrived that I'd like to share. After unpacking and attaching a 16oz propane tank, I attempted to fire up the grill. A note on the grill said it could take several pushes of the igniter to actually get the grill going but after about 10 pushes, I still couldn't see a flame. I read how the flame was hard to see in bright daylight but the smell of propane was getting stronger so I turned off the grill immediately. Weber recommends you wait 5 minutes to let the gas disperse from the burner before attempting to light the grill again so I did just that. 5 minutes later, I try my 2nd attempt and nothing happened.. again. I used a lighter to force the grill to lite and that worked like a charm. But I was still bothered by the igniter not working initially.I decided to call up Weber's customer service number and spoke to a very kind lady. She told me that she can guarantee that the problem involves a piece of the igniter unit not being lined up correctly with the burner. I thought it was a faulty igniter but since the unit was brand new, that was highly unlikely. Anyway, I got off the phone only after registering my grill with them. 24/7 customer service is a great idea although for a company that primarily makes grills, I thought it was pretty much overkill; oh well, more power to the consumer. After the grill had cooled down, I removed the grate and scrutinized the alignment of the igniter piece with the burner. Right away I could see things weren't lined up correctly so I got a wrench, loosened the burner and fixed everything accordingly. I replaced the grate, turned on the propane and on the first click, the flames came on.
Compared to my previous grill which was a Coleman Roadtrip Party grill, this grill is a vast improvement. There are no hot spots and food appears to cook evenly just like everyone else says. I now wish I can use it everyday to prepare my meals; who says I can't.

I've owned several other portable grills (Grill-2-Go, $20 propane grills), but this one is by far the best. You know it is something special when it arrives fully assembled except for attaching the lid.The cast iron grilling surface makes those great searing marks and lets the food cook evenly. The regulator on this grill really allows you to adjust the size of the flame (unlike cheaper grills). The drip pan is also great and replacements can be purchased at local hardware stores.
We use this grill with our RV and it is the perfect size for our family of 3. I don't see how we could use the full size Weber Q --the baby Q is more than large enough for us.
Kudos to Weber!

I have a 2007 Weber Genesis E-320 LP (model #3751001), which I of course bought on Amazon. I live close to the beach so these eventually rust from the humid and salty air. These are a perfect replacement. They match my old ones exactly. Amazon delivers once again.Want Weber 7539 Flavorizer Bars - Set of 5 Discount?
This is the Weber part, and fits the Genesis E310/320 grill perfectly. These reduce flare ups while giving drippings a hot surface on which to vaporize, which is one of the primary ways that grilling creates a different flavor than other methods. I'd therefore suggest using these on all grills that come with them from the factory.I purchased these to replace a 5 year old set, probably a little before they were actually due, but I had already decided to replace a few other parts and just kept going. With proper care, or in my case improper I never even attempted to clean these once, and I don't cover my grill you should easily get 5-7 years out of them.
I am rating 4 stars and withholding the last star for two reasons. First, the price is a little high for 5 pieces of bent steel with porcelain enamel. Second, the packaging has them stacked, and in my case, when I separated them as gently as I could, I still chipped some enamel, which is the starting point for rust.

it works ok, but won't work with the auto start. I recommend spending a little extra and getting the part you need.Burners install great however the ignitors are of cheap quality and to-date never worked. I spent several hours working on the problem and never got them to work.I am disappointed in the Char-Broil Universal Tube Burner in that it won't light the gas. There is a little spark that jumps from the tube to the ignitor, but no flame develops, I have to use a long butane lighter to get ignition. I have tried everything to position the ignitor to produce more spark, but this is how the picture in the instructions have it placed.
