This thing is junky. I only used a few times and the finish is comming off mine as well. The grill holes are at the end so if you want that grill look you have to cook the food at the edge. Save your money and find something better.

The grill performs as advertised, but the non-stick finish is not very durable. Ordinary cleaning is causing the finish to come off even when coated with a vegetable spray. Disappointed with the finish only.

I have this grille and have used it many, many times. You can cook fish, steak, chicken and other things on it. It's quick and keeps the food moist, which is the best feature. I love it because I eat lots of salads and when you are making salads you don't want to be spending time cooking the meat. The secret is in leaving the meat on longer than you would and turning it over just once...not fussing and fussing over it. Other reviewers have commented on the weakness of the finish and I agree, it does come off rather easily, but using PAM or other non stick stuff makes that not a problem. If you don't use it, however, clean up is difficult. Other than that, I've never let the liquid boil off and anyway, you can pour a beer on it while it's cooking and it will not only add flavor to the meat but it spills into the ring and then you don't boil off all the liquid. I love the thing and use it alot. I've even given it as a gift. It's a decent product and works well for the money.

My mother gave me one of these grills a number of years ago. I loved it AT FIRST but, as other reviewers have noted, the finish came off of it very quickly (no matter how gently I treated it) and the food started to stick. Also, if you don't pay close attention, the water will cook out and the grill will smoke. One more thing: the 'mound' shape of it makes putting food onto or removing it from the grill almost impossible without using tongs.

This is a cheap copy of the real thing the "Grill It" stove top grill. The grill plate insert on this cheaper version is much thinner and the finish is not really non stick. Spend a little extra and get the better one.

This is a good idea but the light doesn't work very well. The light needs to be able to cover a larger area and be brighter.

The tongs seem to be well made and the LED light works well. The only negative is that if you place your grip too high on the tongs they will pinch your hand. I have to remember to adjust my grip. Also the instructions don't mention that the light can't get wet. So you have to remove the light before washing or the internal electronics will start to corrode.

The tongs work great for my needs. I have a cabin in the woods with no power, so dinnertime on the grill is a challenge. This helps so the extra hand (that I don't have...) doesn't have to hold the flashlight. The only thing I would change, is the tong itself is too big. I really can't imagine the need for THAT big of tongs. Maybe necessary if you have a side of beef or for commercial use, but I wish they were smaller. Cheers!

I got this as a gift for my dad, and while the shipping was on time and I got the proper product, the packaging was not suitable for giving this item as a gift. The box in which these tongs arrived (the actual product box, not the cardboard shipping box) was all dented and had weird stickers on it (I am assuming for some sort of inventory purposes from whatever warehouse this came). Anyway, my dad isn't one to care about that sort of thing, but if I were to have given this to anyone else, I would have been embarrassed. Neat product though. Very handy.

Continental CE23721 Small Electric Grill

This little skillet is not meant to replace something larger, but it's a great convenience and useful to take traveling. It took preparing two batches to make bacon and eggs for two, but they turned out perfectly, along with the fried potatoes that followed. I have even made complete meals fried a cup and a half of vegetables (they cook down), emptied them out and scrambled eggs, mixing together in a bowl when done. It's really a very versatile little pan for one or even two people. It would probably make good French toast and grilled cheese sandwiches, tho I have not tried them. It maintains a decently high heat so you can fry things well.

However, the handle is really not easy to remove. So I don't, which means some danger when it's on the counter with the cord hanging down. If you have kids, this pan is probably dangerous not only dangling parts if you don't want the effort of removing the handle, but it looks like a toy. You can't set a regular temperature, but you get used to using the tiny dial. I agree with the other reviewer that it would not work well with arthritis. The little glass lid works, but does not fit very well. Don't try to carry it with the lid on it it wobbles off. If the pan was hot, this would be an additional problem.

The non-stick coating has worked so far in terms of holding up, but it does stick a bit over the area that has the heating ring, and sometimes requires paying attention to keep from burning. Still, at the price, it's a very useful little tool for small, quick jobs like caramelizing a few onions for a dish that doesn't otherwise require frying, scrambling up an egg for a snack, reheating a serving of something that needs a birt of browning, and as a traveling companion. Despite its quirks, I love mine and would buy it again.

I am very satisfied with my grill. As others have said, the lid is not snugly fit, but then, I do not carry it around. It stays pretty much on counter when cooking. Thank you

I found that while the skillet does work, it is awkward to adjust temperature setting and the removable handle is not easy to work with. Anyone with arthritis in their hands and fingers would have a difficult time with this. And even with the handle removed, the skillet is not immersible. I will continue to use it, but would not buy another one.

Music City Metals 15102-71112 Stainless Steel Burner Replacement for Select Gas Grill Models by Ark

I recieved the package in a very timly manner. It was packed very well. Came with all hardware needed to do the swap. The only issue I had was that the ignitor mounting bracket didnt fit on the burner very well. It seems on the replacement they combined the ignitor bracket mounting holes with the holes used to secure the down pipes to the burner. The OE didnt have removable down tubes and only had the holes needed to secure the ignitor mount. When they combined the purpouse of the hole it seems that the hole is in a slightly different spot and requires mounting it at a slight angle. Use of the ignitor requires several pushes before getting a good light. Whereas before it always lit the first time. This may be from other circumstances, not sure. Either way the product along with some new briquetts has made my grill new again! Product works great, nice to not burn food anymore with a burner that leaks out the top. Probably get another 5 years of grilling from it. If you lay the briquetts out well it makes a very even heat source.

Cons: No screen over air/fuel mixing ports. (bugs can get up in there and affect the mixture.) Fitment of ignitor mounting bracket a little off.

Pros:

Great product, cheap, even burn, came with all extra hardware needed. Installed fast and easy.

I made the mistake of trying a generic burner from Lowes. Such a mistake. A little extra research provided better information to enable an Amazon search to find this burner for me.It's an exact replacement for the original burner in this very old grill.Works perfectly and I could not be happier. GE Part Number WB02X10776 CHARCOAL FILTER

This is a good quality filter and fits perfectly in my GE microwave.

However, it didn't resolve an odor issue at the time due to the poor design of the microwave itself. There are 2 airflow passages in the top of the microwave. Only one of the passages is setup for installing a filter. The filter will not fit into the second passage, so half of the air blowing through the top vent was unfiltered and contained the odor.

Surprised at GE for the poor microwave design.

Wrong part, prohibitally expensive to send back. Just swallowed the cost and said oh well. That's the way it goes sometimes.

I purchased this for my Samsung microwave, and while it is not quite a fit, it does seem to help wi filtering grease, particularly when I am frying. It's a lot thicker than the filter that I had previously, and the sides are sturdy.

I have been trying to figure out how to reheat corn tortillas and finally I tried this. Don't use any oil or butter etc. Just the hot comal. I then toss in some mexican cheese and the quesodillas are outstanding. I am not crazy about the vestigal handles they get hot very quickly, it should have been designed much better. Plan on using oven mitts if you need to move it. Also the edges were sharp so I had to file it down in the garage. That's worth losing a star over so it's only 4 stars. Still it's big enough for 2 maybe 3 small corn tortillas and it does a great job. For the price what do you expect?

I got this based on the fact that you can put the grill plates in the dishwasher, HOWEVER, beware, they oxidize in the dishwasher. Meaning the back of the cooking plates, turn blak and wipe off on your towels, hands, ect. I called the manufactor and said this is normal, and i shouldnt wash them in the dishwaher very often. So much for convience!

Other than that problem, it cooks awesome! I loved the temp control and timer. Great Features!! Plus it held 6 burgers!

I would buy this again, but would never put it my dishwasher.

We recieved this as a wedding present a back in August. This unit was actually diffrent than the one we had on our registry but WOW we love this one. The washable grill plates are really cool and easy to clean. I will say we dont wash them in the dishwasher much. But to remove the plates and take them to sink to clean is super convienent vs. hauling the whole unit to the sink and trying not to get it too wet or cleaning it on the counter with a washcloth or papertowels. I HIGHly recommend getting the removeable plates. They sell replacement plates online which is great. My previous Foremans would always wear the nonsticks first but this unit you can replace them.

Keep the reciept on it as well. I have had 0 electrical problems with any of mine but I have read some have. The quality of this foreman is VERY GOOD except the buttons feel a little cheapish (but better than most)some of the lesser models are not so well built.

We received this as a gift less than a year ago. After using it several times a week for the first couple of months that we had it, it began taking longer and longer for food to cook on it. By the end of the year, meat didn't brown; instead, it more or less "simmered" until the juices were gone and the meat was dry and tough. Boneless chicken breasts bubbled in their own juices, but they clearly didn't cook. The first part of this year, the temperature and timer adjustments quit--they were working fine one night and then didn't work the next night. So, we went from loving our grill to being very disappointed with it in a matter of months. Luckily, I had enough information on it to prove that the 1-year warranty was still in effect, and once the manufacturer reviewed our problem, we immediately received a UPS pickup tag so we could return the grill. A new one is on the way as I write this. As I said, we absolutely loved the grill--it's so easy to cook a variety of things on, and the removable grill plates made clean-up a breeze. I did put them into the dishwasher, as the manufacturer suggests, which made clean-up even easier. Can't wait to get the replacement! I'll give it a review after I've used it for a while.

I purchased this grill the other day, used it twice and unfortunately, I will be returning it today.

Day one Pork Chops Setting was 8 minutes at 300 degrees per the instruction manual. The chops took about twice as long to cook than the instruction booklet indicated and seemed to be steamed rather than grilled. Considering the choice of meat, I decided to try it again the next day using hamburgers.

Day two Hamburgers The burgers cooked in about 8 minutes at 400 degrees, a rather high temp. than noted in the booklet. Once again, the food was steamed rather than grilled.

Day three Returning the grill after a thorough cleaning...oh well, back to charcoal.

Coleman Cast Iron Non-Stick Griddle

Got a new indoor stove. The griddle top that the stove company sold was over $100. I thought that was a little extreme. Coleman has a good name recognition, and they live up to their name. This griddle is heavy, well made, no rough edges. Used it the day after I got it......perfect. Have used it many times since and it is doing great. We own and have used cast iron products for over 30 years. We understand you have to season the products every so often. This product will have to be reseasoned at some point, but not yet after two months of use. We use it on our inside stove. This is heavy. I would not recommend hiking this into a campsite. If you are driving to do camping, this will rock out. Enjoy.

I love the idea of this griddle. You get a large area to fry eggs and cook meats, while the fat melts away! But there are problems not easily seen online.

First, it's heavy. Too heavy. It becomes hard to wield a 15lb hot piece of metal.

Second, the grooves are on the wrong side. The grooved side has "raised" edges, which pool the fat from your burgers, instead of draining it away. This wouldn't be so bad, but the other side is worse. The flat side, which I thought would be ideal for cooking eggs, is so bad as to almost be unusable. Why? Because it has a "drain" all over the edges. This means that you have a LOT less space to fry with and that small pieces and liquid (onions, garlic, oil, eggs!) fall into the drain easily. It's a pain to cook eggs when you're worried they'll fall off!

Third, it does not fit well on a two burner stove. Because of the curved handles, the griddle only makes contact with the burners on the edges. Heat becomes uneven and inefficient.

If only the grooves were on the other side, this would've been a decent thing. Too bad I can't return it (I've obviously used it). Will need to buy another one.

This product has a terrible design flaw in that the drain for fat is on the flat side, where you would cook eggs and pancakes. So your eggs and pancakes will just go into the drain. The flip side with the grill has the edge raised, so nothing drains on that side.

I don't understand the positive reviews for this productit's useless as manufactured. Based on Coleman's description I can only assume they made a mistake in designing the product. They say this:

"The Griddle sports two surfaces: use the smooth side for pancakes and fajitas, or flip it over to the ribbed side for frying bacon and other meat while the fat drains away."

Well, the drain is on the flat side! They either didn't test it or didn't care to fix it. Don't make the same mistake I did, there's plenty of other griddles out there and they don't have the same mistake. Shame on Coleman for releasing this product.

We just tried this griddle out during a 3 week road trip with stops to camp in the Grand Canyon, Sedona and Yosemite. My husband (who does most of the cooking) LOVED it! He used the griddle to make all of our food, with the exception of boiling water and making coffee. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, chicken, steak, corn in the husk... it all went on this griddle and came off delicious! Its a heavy duty, cast iron griddle that fits perfectly on our Coleman stove. It even fits in the Coleman stove carry case with our stove. We love this stove! Totally worth the price and the hard work of hauling this HEAVY griddle around for some easy car camping!

This griddle is better than I expected. And to have it preseasoned is great. I used it for a breakfast of eggs, potatoes, peppers and onions, and it turned out fine. It cleaned up easily with a paper towel. I will use it frequently when we are camping.

This is the Weber part, and fits the Genesis E310/320 grill perfectly. These reduce flare ups while giving drippings a hot surface on which to vaporize, which is one of the primary ways that grilling creates a different flavor than other methods. I'd therefore suggest using these on all grills that come with them from the factory.

I purchased these to replace a 5 year old set, probably a little before they were actually due, but I had already decided to replace a few other parts and just kept going. With proper care, or in my case improper I never even attempted to clean these once, and I don't cover my grill you should easily get 5-7 years out of them.

I am rating 4 stars and withholding the last star for two reasons. First, the price is a little high for 5 pieces of bent steel with porcelain enamel. Second, the packaging has them stacked, and in my case, when I separated them as gently as I could, I still chipped some enamel, which is the starting point for rust.

I ordered several of these in varying designs to use as cigar matches. The graphics on the boxes are very nice and the matches light easily and do not tend to fall apart while burning. A very nice item.

I like it, but it seems pricy. One box (2 3/8" wide x 4 3/8" long x 3/4" thick) of jumbo wooden matches (fitting the length of the box), I expected 2 or 4 boxes for the box dimensions received. Perhaps I am greedy, but a more specific description would be welcome. That said, the matches are very satisfying to strike.

Weber 1710001 Summit S-420 Propane Gas Grill, Stainless Steel

I bought this grill for my recent let's say, milestone, birthday. I researched grills for over 2 months. I knew Weber was a good brand but wished to consider other options. My research always pointed back to "buy a Weber". Weber's customer service was always rated A-1, they've been bbq/grilling experts for years, and you know they'll be around in the future. The one kicker for the Summit S-420 model over a stainless Weber Genesis S-320 was a comment from a friend of mine with a nice stainless Jenn-Air model found at Lowes. He wished the rotisserie was positioned higher on the Jenn-Air. In my assessment of grills, I had never considered the importance of the rotisserie height. After looking at the Genesis S-320 and Jenn-Air models again, it became clear that a turkey or large roast might not work on the rotisserie of the other models. The Summit S-420 and other Summit grills solves this problem by providing a much higher rotisserie position. Add to that a much taller cover, and you'll see there is greater height for convection around whatever you're cooking. I've grilled hamburgers, salmon, T-bone steaks, and slow cooked smoked pork ribs all to perfection. No need for a high end smoker feature that permanently reduces grill space an aluminum foil tray with wood chips atop one of the burners works fine. The Snap-Jet individual burner ignition system was tricky at first. Once you actually read the instructions Hey I'm a guy you'll find the technology is easy and reliable. Quality is the final key to this grill. The stainless everything is impressive and high quality. The side-burner is more than an afterthought and mimics many high-end kitchen gas cook-tops. Even the doors of the storage area below are double sided for sturdiness. I usually have a minor stint of buyer's remorse after an expensive purchase. I have none. With this grill I can proudly say it's one of the best purchases/investments I've made in years!!!!

In October of 2007 we upgraded to the Summit 420 and gave my old Weber to my daughter. I'm just now writing a review of our new grill because I wanted to know what I was talking about. First I have to say, the old Weber (a Genesis purchased in 1987) was in top shape having only replaced the grills and flavor bars. Second I have to say, my new grill makes grilling far more relaxing regardless of what we grill. From catfish to the finest fillets, it provides the most consistent great texture and taste. The ability to adjust four different burners from side to side without moving the food is the magic in this grill. The grill is a perfect size for my wife and I, or up to 10 people. Chicken wings are the all time favorite in our family and on this grill I can brown the outside of the wing, fully cook, and then crisp them before taking off (not one burnt spot), without opening the grill but one time. You can cook brisket at 200 degrees, grill shrimp and veggies at 300, bake catfish at 400, and grill steaks at 500 degrees. The stainless steel grills are easy to clean, the light works great at night, and it sure seems like I'm using less propane. Service has always been awesome. I truly feel that if you were lost and you called Weber customer service, they'll try to help you. As far as the downside: I haven't found anything negitive from grilling on this grill at least twice a week for almost a year.

This Weber Summit grill, as well as the entire Summit line has a design flaw that Weber refuses to consider an issue. Whenever it rains, water runs down the back and enters the internal drip tray, then flows into a drip pan, which then overflows a greasy water mess onto the cabinet floor. This problem occurs with and without the Weber Premium cover in place. (The cover has a mesh on the back that lets the rain in.)

I give the grill a two star rating because it does do a nice job of cooking ... once the mess is cleaned up.

All reviewers said you can't go wrong with a Weber. And after comparing the Weber S420 with all the other gas grills (all of which looked good) there was an obvious difference in quality in favor of the Weber. My previous gas grill produced inconsistent results and resulted in many ruined meals. Yes, the Weber is expensive compared to others that I considered, but it is absolutely worth the extra cash. Every meal cooked on it has been excellent. Very even, controllable heat and a pleasure to use. The construction is top rate and with reasonable care, it should last for many years. Some have complained about water collecting in the grease pan during a rain and making a greasy mess. Well, duh. After the meal simply remove the grease pan and clean it. Very easy to do and when it does rain only water to blot up. As for the premium cover, I am pleased with the quality, the fit and the protection it gives the grill.

So, to sum up, you can't go wrong with this grill. Bite the bullet, spend the extra money and get this grill. You will never have "buyer's remorse".

Charcoal Companion Nonstick Single Grilling Kabob Baskets, Set of 4

The baskets are OK; I would not rely on the non-stick coating as stuff still sticks; easily solved with a light application of cooking oil. Pretty handy for turning over food that might be too small to put directly on the grill. I used these on a gas grill so I could not close the lid to keep the heat up.

The metal clip holding the top to the rest of the basket is pretty flimsy; count on having to replace it fairly soon with a wire (hint: a paperclip straightened out and then wrapped through the end works quite well).

I used the Kabob baskets and the meat stuck to the wire. I sprayed them with Pam the second time I used them and the meat stuck. After 20 minutes of scrubbing I threw them in the trash.

purchased these thinking that i would no longer have to use those wooden disposable skewers, but i was very wrong. these are poorly made and for some reason designed to have the metal wrap around the handle (metal conducts heat and this nonthreatening wooden handle is quite deceptive). Also the food sticks like crazy to the baskets, and the worst part is that most shish kabob ingredients don't come close to fitting in the basket. whole button mushrooms don't even come close to fitting. I used them twice and then tossed them for the Cabinet space

The non-stick feature does not work well. I have used them now four times. Each time the cleanup takes forever. I have tried oiling the grills, etc. but the food always sticks.

Product delivered on time and no complaints. I did not get the granite top as I wanted the grill to heat up faster but I cans see its a toss up as it would be nice to keep the heat when cooking cold food. I think I still prefer the standard grill.
