George Foreman's name is associated with quality small appliances and this electric skillet is no exception. This medium size appliance is manufactured with a nonstick cooking surface, a diecast base, and heat resistant side handles. It looks very nice on your countertop with its black color and glass lid and it can be used to prepare many different foods.

This skillet has met and exceeded my expectations in every category. It takes only two or three minutes to reach the temperature of your choosing and the nonstick surface is so easy to clean, there is really no need to place it in a dishwasher. It is dishwasher safe if you remove the probe, but it cleans so easily, there isn't any need.

Among the many positive qualities with this electric skillet, one of the most important is its depth. Many electric skillets are shallow in design, and this severaly limits their usefulness. But this electric skillet offers plenty of depth, and that means you can use it to heat/cook foods containing liquid without any worries. The liquid won't spill, making this George Foreman Electric Skillet more versatile than most.

Another quality I like with this electric skillet is the glass lid. True, there is the added risk of breakage, but as long as you handle with care, this should not be an issue. The good thing about glass is that you can see the food as it cooks and glass makes for a more attractive appearance. With most stovetop skillets, the lids are solid metal and that means you can't see the food as it cooks. And don't worry that the lid will blow offthere is a small, round opening in the top for ventilation purposes.

George Foreman will always be known for his skill as a professional boxer, but he is eually skilled when it comes to sales of small appliances and this electric skillet is one of his best. It can be used to fry several foods at once or to keep food warm, with high walls to hold foods in place. Cleanup is a breeze and the appliance looks very attractive on most any kitchen counter. Could there be anything bad to say about this appliance? Not that I can see, and this makes it one of the best small appliances I have purchased in a long time.

Many other non-stick skillets reviewed here seem to have problems of one kind or another. When I bought this one, there were no reviews but I have two other George Foreman products one is an outdoor grill and the other is an indoor classic double-sided Foreman grill that really works well so I decided to give this one a shot. I'm glad I did! It works very well. The temperature control seems accurate, it really does take just a minute to clean up, whatever you are cooking doesn't stick and the see-through glass cover is very handy for watching items cook that require the lid to be on. It is generously sized and relatively light weight.

Finally, it was about half the price of some others I considered. What's not to like?

I gave this skillet 3 stars because it's just OK. It heats up quickly and gets very hot (almost too hot). When the thermostat shuts off the heat, whatever you are cooking stops cooking and then continues when the heat comes back on. Simmering is almost non-existent.

The non-stick surface is good (no problems). Clean up is fairly easy considering this skillet is non-submersible in water.

If I had known these things, I probably wouldn't have bought it.

I received this skillet for Christmas. this is my first electric skillet though I have used my moms in the past.

I really like this skillet. It is a large size which allows me to cook larger meals with out having to use the oven. I use it a loot for browning meat, making breakfast (pancakes cooking bacon/sausage, eggs, But my favorite use is for pasta meals I start by preparing the sauce in the skillet, i brown the meat in a separate pan add it and once the noodles are done drain them and add as well. The skillet is large enough to mix it all around (adding pasta to the sauce is a great way to prevent clumping vs keeping separate)with out creating a mess and helps keep it warm for seconds!

There are many things I really like about this frying pan; the size, the non-stick surface, but I have to agree with some other reviews about the inconsistent heating. I've used electric frying pans for 40 years and have never had this problem. There is no way to simmer foods. Either the heat is on or it's off. This makes it hard to leave the house while preparing something like sauce or chili, which need to slowly simmer for several hours. This would be a great product if this aspect could be improved.

Great product! On my first attempt to use it I roasted a chicken. Flavor was fantastic and extremely juicey. My grill is a standard two burner, propane gas grill. I could barley close the lid. The only way I could forsee doing a turkey would be in a standard oven or by removing the cooking grate. I will try this but I fear flare ups may be a problem. You need a grill with a lot of room between the top of the lid and the cooking grate.

This BBQ set is so cheaply made and not at all worth the money. I bought it as a gift and immediately put it back in the box to ship back the same day. I would be embarassed to give it as a gift, it looks as if it was from a dollar store very very cheap. I am confidant it would not last more than a couple uses. The "case" it was in was black plastic and had scratches and dents all over it. The tools wouldn't even stay in the case and all fell out every time you closed the case. Don't waste your time or money!!

I purchased this set for a gift. Upon inspection the overall felling was cheap. The set is too short. It might work fine if you have a small grill. But I'm in Texas so we don't know what a small grill even looks like.

Its a great set that includes a lot, and my fiance is using it regularly (mainly spatula, tongs, and wire brush). Wish he would also clean the items and put back into the case for next time, but instead he uses them every other day and leaves them out in the rain for cleaning. One day I know that case will come in handy! At least it keeps the items we are not regularly useing together and clean!!

Soapstone Griddle

The griddle works great in the over on my stovetop and while grilling. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it is so heavy I sometimes think of other cooking methods that are not so cumbersome. Couldn't they make it a bit thinner to decrease the weight?

Heated it slowly on a woodstove to about 250 degrees, then put it on the gas stove with a medium flame--cracked within a minute. Don't believe those pix on the website showing flames! Waste of money.

GrillPro 41333 Stainless Steel Chicken Roaster for Grills

I bought my "Chick-can" for about 2 dollars so this one is very overpriced. But it is a great product. My boyfriend and I broke ours in for Thanksgiving using cheap beer and chicken and it tasted GREAT (even in spite of cheap beer). It was very easy to use in the oven and the chicken was juicy and delicious. It's easy to clean and you can use pretty much any 12 ounce can of liquid you choose. Highly recommended!

You can get an equivalent chicken rack that can hold a 12 oz can for less than $5 from pretty much any hardware or grill store.

Kabob Baskets

Because the description says "Kabob baskets" (plural) and the picture shows two, I assumed it was a set of two. You actually only get one. Pretty pricey for one kabob basket.

These are well made, large enough to hold the food and easy to clean! I've had others with plastic handles and wooden handles so I specifically looked for baskets that did NOT have handles (so they wouldn't melt or burn) and these were the PERFECT choice! The handle designed is also PERFECT because it's centered with the basket so it's easy to rotate the basket and still keep the bbq lid closed.

Don't buy any others, these are the ones you'll wish you had bought!

Charcoal Companion CC4510 Grill Scraper

I purchased this for my large size big green egg as an alternative to brushes that always flatten out and melt. It fits the grilling grate perfectly and also can double as an ash tool and grate lifter. Highly recommend this to other BGE owners!

With all the articles about how wire grill brushes are dangerous, this seemed like a good replacement option. For me it works ok, not as well as the wire brushes, but better than getting bits of wire in your burger in my opinion. I think it was ok for the price and for the peace of mind.

It scrapes well and lets me cut down on wire brush time and effort. I use it for the initial scrape, follow up with a good wire brush and then a moist paper towel to insure there are no wire bristles remaining.

Nopro 12 x 9 Stainless Steel Roasting and Broiler Pan

Of all the broiler pans I searched for, this was the best fit for my large toaster oven. Exactly 11 7/8 x 9". Great find!

I bought this for my toaster oven, keeping my fingers crossed that it'll fit (which it did, perfectly! ). The top plate with holes is more or less a permanent fixture in my oven, as its easier to clean than oven racks, and I use the bottom pan as a baking dish. I like that it's stainless steel,which is supposed to be a safe metal to cook/bake in and yet easy to clean.

I would have given it 5 stars, had it not been for the somewhat sharp sides. Otherwise the quality seems to be good. Get it!

Tried stick free coated pans and they only worked for a short time. I decided to go the "old fashioned way" and searched for a stainless steel pan. Could not find any in stores. Internet search brought me to this pan. I love it and plan to buy the larger one.

I am looking into purchasing one from The Vermont Country Store because Amazon does not seem to carry the one I want to replace this one with.

Cleaning this pan is quite a chore, getting into all those nooks is not easy, it is awkward.

I'm not happy at all with this design.

I am looking to purchase one I've seen which has a more simple design with slots that looks much, much easier to clean.

This is the second broiling pan that if been unhappy using.

Aside from the cleaning problem , it does work okay in the oven.

Bic Surestart Lighter

Childproofing features mean that this product requires a strong grip. Not for the elderly or arthritic wanting an easy fireplace lighter. My elderly parent could not light it using both hands. Works great for me, but it was supposed to have been a helpful gift. Also, I would not have ordered had I known it was disposable. I don't fault the product, which probably will work well for you, but the description is incomplete.

It's Bic, that says it all. I use it for lighting my wood stove and heaters. It may cost more, but it lasts till it's outa fuel. The rest crap out half way through the fuel supply, so which really is cheaper.

Even using both hands, I'm unable to make one of these light, due to arthritis in my hands. I wrote Bic about it and they didn't even reply. My son took one apart tonight trying to dismantle the child-proof feature for me, but all it did was break the darn thing. I bought a four-pack, so I threw out the broken one and gave him the other three. He said it was even hard for his hands to light.

I use these BIC lighters to light everything from candles to fireworks. The flame height is pre-adjusted. Hold the top button down with your thumb, then use your index finger to pull the button that ignites the flame. The flame usually ignites on the first try. When it doesn't ignite on the first try, usually it isn't more than two or three clicks before the flame appears.

Unfortunately, I fell for this good deal. The pretty handles are already coming off. And the scrub brush is rusting already. I guess they still serve their purpose, but falling apart after only a few weeks of use is not what I expected.

Eastman Outdoors 90414 BBQ ZaGrill's Pizza Pan

This pizza cooker works really well. I have a grill large enough to use 4 at a time. A couple of hints for using the cooker ;turn pan 180 degrees ocationally for more even cooking and when dough is just starting to get firm, slide a non stick spatula under to lift dough out of the holes in the pan.

I really wish I could give this product a good review. The pizza turns out great and the company has great customer service. But, unfortunately the product is seriously flawed. I bought two of these and the first pizzas I made were good and we ate them, but then I was cleaning the pans and realized the surface had come off. I could see it on the bottom of some of the uneaten pizza. Sure doesn't look healthy, but we'd already downed them. So I called the manufacturer and with very little discussion they sent me two new pans that I received just a couple days later. Super customer service. This time I well oiled the pans and used prodigious amounts of flour on the bottom of the pizza. The problem was much less but the pizzas were still peppered with the pan coating. When the pans are clean you can see the bare spots where it flaked off. This can't be healthy and frankly even though the company was very supportive, the product should be pulled for safety reasons. Bummer! If anyone knows of an alternative that doesn't flake please reply. Maybe there is a cast iron pan out there with holes I could use on top of the heat shields?

This is an excellent addition to both the outdoor and indoor kitchen. Zagrill makes a great pizza on the grill, is easy to use, and clean up. The pizza cooks up evenly, and the crust comes out crisp, the toppings and cheese evenly cooked, and the crust does not tend to fall through the grill racks as it had before on me. Regulating the temperature on the grill posed a little challenge, by using the outside burners, as opposed to the burner directly under Zagrill, I was able to keep the temp at an even 350F. When I use this in the oven, I use the Zagrill one level below center position in the oven, and have had many great pizzas,stuffed breads, and calzones.

I use this for hand-tossed pizzas and it works quite well. It takes about 11 minutes to cook in a grill that has been pre-heated about 15 minutes. The pizza cooks evenly and the crust is perfectly done. My only gripe is that I wish you could get a bigger pan so that one could cook a larger (14-17") pizza.
