The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it does not make enough at one time. I have to keep refilling it too many times. Other than that it bakes well. Stores well. Cleans up very nicely.

Garcima 15-Inch Carbon Steel Paella Pan, 38cm

Great, authentic little paella pan. We've used it constantly since we got it last summer (including last night). Easily feeds 8 people. The only thing to watch out for is that the handles discolored quickly, but it hasn't changed the performance of the pan. We're using it both on the stove top and in the oven, and I'm not sure which one caused the handles to change color. It's worth the little bit of extra work to oil it after cleaning because the surface really develops nicely. We liked this one so well, we also bought a 22-inch pan that we use outside on the barbeque.

This Paella pan worked out much better than expected. It seasoned nicely and works like a champ. Have used it several times so far and have not had any issues. Works well on both electric and gas burners. Perfect size for 8 servings.

GrillPro 77355 18-Inch Heavy Duty 3 In 1 Grill Brush

I've used this brush a few times now and the scrapers and brush surfaces work really well. The handle is fairly tough and durable and allows you to apply good pressure to the grill.

I used it on caked on sugary residue post BBQing and the stuff came right off. I tend to use the scraper first and then give it a once over with the brush.

The brush does not seem to have any wear after 3 rigorous uses.

The GrillPro is one of the best designs in a grill brush/scraper that I've seen. This is a must have for a griller.

Just ordered this since we now live in an apartment and can't have a gas grill. It's essentially just a hotplate but works like a true barbeque. It's size is perfect for a small patio, but it's large enough to grill enough food for a couple of people. The only issue I have is it's a little difficult to clean ,since you have you have to take the whole grill in and wash it down. It's not heavy, just a tad inconvenient since it takes a bit of skill to get it to your kitchen (mine is across my living room) and not spill any grease etc. I actually have tried to just wipe it down with a wet paper towel and that seems to works unless it was an exceptionally messy, greasy meal (which is hard to do since it has a removable drip tray. )

I ordered this thermometer to replace my standard dial thermometer that sits in the oven over the duration of the cooking time. This is NOT the same type of thermometer. You CANNOT leave this one in the oven while your food cooks. This is evident when you read the usage instructions and observe that the temperature dial plate is made of plastic and not glass.

I use this to periodically check the temperature of meat during the cooking process be it sauteing, broiling, roasting, grilling, searing, etc. While I love the concept of the the thermometers you leave in the oven, I find in practice that they are not very reliable. This thermometer is accurate and quick to register temperature. My gripe about this method is it can involve opening the oven and removing the food to the temperature and thus lowering the oven temperature and pro-longing the cooking process. I also make a point to probe the meat in the same place as if you do not, you end up loosing a lot of the juices during the cooking process. The probe is long enough for all but the largest cuts of meat. I have used it on large turkeys, chickens, prime rib roasts, pork tenderloins, and temperature registered reflected level of done-ness accurately.

I tried this out for the first time tonight. What a disappointment. Talk about WAY OFF, this thing isn't even in the ballpark. Test 1: Boneless BBQ chicken I cooked this the usual amount of time on the usual BBQ. I used this thermometer in the center of the meat. It read 112 deg. F. Not seeming right, I pulled out my digital thermometer which read 166 deg. F in the same spot (ah, just right!). I ate the chicken. Test 2: pot of boiling water it's not exactly true to say that water always boils at 212 F. That's only "pure" water at sea level. I live at about 3000 ft. above sea level where the theoretical boiling point of water is 206 deg. F. This thermometer reads 180 deg. F. My digital one says 207. I believe the digital one. Now comes the "calibration." There's a nut on the back of this thermometer. You can turn it, which essentially turns the readout face. So, sure, I can get this thing to read 207deg. F in the boiling water, but it now thinks the ambient temperature in my house is 116 degrees when it's actually 68. Okay, if I had a source of 155 degree temperature I could set this thing to match it, and then it would be relatively close in the range of cooked meats, but why bother? "Accurate within 2 degrees" and "can even be recalibrated"? I don't think so. Back to the seller it goes.

Just purchased my donut maker a couple of days ago and love it. Definitely use a ziploc bag and notch one of the corners out to fill each donut holder (like a pastry bag). Do not try to measure the 2 T. they recommend. Fill each up but do not overfill (just below the edge about 1/4 or so from the top works). I sprayed the unit with cooking spray like "Pam" after each batch and used a wooden chopstick to remove the donut after cooking. The metal fork that comes with it could scratch the unit. The recipes that came with the instructions are okay. The spice one is the best. If using a box mix the donuts are too light and fluffy but they come out looking great with some icing and sprinkles. A simple recipe I use for plain donuts is: 1c. flour, 1t. baking powder, 1/2t. salt, 2 eggs, 2/3c. sugar, 1/4c. milk. Combine ingredients and beat 1 minute with electric mixer. Put in ziploc bag and you're ready to make donuts. I used the Vanilla Frosting recipe in the instruction booklet and added 1T. pureed strawberries to it yummy!! Frost when they are semi-warm not hot! Makes 24. My donuts cooked in 2 minutes so watch them closely. One side of donut is lighter than the other but if you're frosting it you won't notice. The unit cleans up nicely, when cool I just wipe with a towel.

I got this for Christmas and it has been so much fun so far! I tried using a cupcake recipe the first time which eneded up rather unappealing. The second batch I used the Sour Cream Donut recipe from the box and it was perfect! The donuts were light and fluffy with a light brown crust on top and bottom. I actually took the whole kit to work and made them for my coworkers. It's rather hard to spoon the batter in so I put all the batter in a ziplock bag and cut off a corner and piped the batter into the donut maker. It was perfect and my coworkers loved it! If you toss them in powdered sugar or a cinnamon and sugar mixture while they are still hot they coat perfectly. I had no problems getting mine to unstick from the machine and I only sprayed once before starting and maybe every 5-6 batches. I also frosted some of them and found that if you just heat regular Betty Crocker frosting and dip the donuts in it, they glaze quite nicely. I also had fun piping the frosting on in fun patterns. All in all, a very fun little product and after taking it to work all my coworkers are wanting one as well.

I didn't plan to buy this, but found it on sale and thought it would be fun to try. This little gadget did not disappoint. First I tried the basic recipe in the instruction manual. The little donuts were ready in 5 minutes and tasted delicious. I topped them with some chocolate glaze (Duncan Hines Amazing Glazes work well). I googled and found some healthy recipes online.

The easiest way to make the donuts is to get a DUncan Hines cake mix and cut back on all the liquids only add 1 cup of water (rather than 1 1/3), 1/4 cup of oil (rather than 1/3) and 1 egg (instead of 3). Mix well and pour it into a sturdy ziploc bag. Cut off one corner (very small corner!). Spray the donut holes with cooking spray and squezze in enough batter to fill the bottom half. Close the lid and cook for 5-6 minutes. One Duncan Hines mix will make about 3 dozen donuts. Once you get the timing down, they come out perfect every time.

The unit heats up very quickly, and I wouldn't let small children play with it. This is NOT a toy, it is not made for kids. It is an appliance for adults to use. And it's very handy. Homemade donuts in 5 minutes. Tasty treats for all!

We had an old Daisy Donut Machine when I was a little girl in the 70's. I wasn't sure this little machine had the quality to produce good results, but I was pleasantly surprised. The non-stick finish is excellent, so the donuts are easy to remove after baking. The ready light is very handy. The unit is small but makes six donuts at a time, so it doesn't take long to produce lots of yummy donuts (ours cooked in about 3 1/2 minutes per batch.) The helpful tip to put the batter in a Ziploc bag with the corner snipped off worked great.

The reason I bought this grill was to cook hamburgers and maybe steaks. There are a few flaws with the design. First, the fat does not flow to the drip tray, instead it sits in the bottom and sizzles, splattering it everywhere. The second problem is when you open the lid, all of the juices from the top run down the plate and drip behind the machine. In the end, there was a mess everywhere and my house filled with smoke(due to the sizzling of the fat that should have dripped in the tray), setting off my smoke detectors.

So happy plates can be removed for cleaning and the adjustable top fits evenly on top of sandwich for an even grilling.

Calphalon 1759546 Electric Panini Grill

Yes, this grill works. After reading some very mixed reviews, I am pleased to say that Calphalon delivers on everything it promises. I have owned this grill for 5 months now and am very pleased.

To address some common complaints:

It's true that it doesn't create a smoked bbq flavor, which has been a common complaint, but why would anyone expect that anyhow?

It's powerful and hot enough for everything I've thrown on the grill. It cooks chicken and steak all the way through, assuming that the meat isn't thicker than 3/4 inch or so. But if you want a full-sized Barbecue like grill, this may be too small.

It seems best suited for grilling paninis, veggies, fish, hamburgers, and chicken breasts. Again, it's just a small electric grill, so it's not as hot as charcoal. A two inch thick T-bone steak may be a bit much, but mine's worked so well that I wouldn't be surprised if it could handle that too!

The top and bottom plates do an excellent job of heating evenly on both sides. Complaints about long pre-heating and grilling times have not occurred with my grill.

Some have complained about the meat looking microwaved. Hmmm, I suppose so. . . I've found that my meat looks very much like it was cooked between two hot metal plates, absent flame, smoke or ash.

The little plastic height spacer is flimsy, so don't hit it wish a hammer too often.

The only valid complaint really is that the grease drip pan slips free from the grill when you pick it up to move it. It's location, however is perfect, situated in the back where it can collect the grease best when the grill is opened regularly during cooking. An Excellent design feature.

All in all, I have been completely satisfied. The timer is a Great asset. The stainless steel looks phenomenal and cleans up easily. Speaking of which, I've never cleaned a non-stick grilling surface with more ease.

Rest assured, this is a Great Grill!

I haven't met panini that I didn't like, yet! This is a GREAT sandwich maker! I haven't used it for grilling meat, because I like to keep the mess on the outdoor gas grill. The sandwiches come out evenly cooked to perfection-no flipping sandwiches and having all the fillings fall out!. It fits 2 large panini. You can adjust the height to fit the thickness of your sandwich. It's easy to clean-just wipe with a damp cloth while warm. Locks shut and easy to store. Makes an excellent panino. Unit's small size is perfect for 2 standard sandwiches and since it grills on both sides at the same time (no flipping) you can pile up a fairly messy sandwich with no worries. Heats up quickly, grills fast (minimizing energy use) and cleans up easily if you wipe it down while still warm. Stores in our cupboard nicely and looks great next to our Calphalon waffle maker! We'll use this only for panini; grilled some pork chops and they turned out great but clean-up was more of a hassle.

I have done an extensive research before deciding on Calphalon. I had ordered on Amazon, their price was the best! It arrived quickly and once I opened the box I was really happy. It looks amazing, great quality, just what I had expected. But more important then that, it works great and it's super easy to clean, nothing sticks to it! This is a very good product. The only thing it lacks is the detachable parts so that it can be cleaned in a dishwasher. It heats quickly and grills well. The quality of the material that it was built is very high.

When I started smoking salmon this fall I decided to purchase the Bradley Set of 4 Xtra Racks so to make the smoker more efficient. The added racks are placed upside down on the existing racks and doubles your smoking capability. The racks are the same as the original racks that come with the Bradley Smoker. I prefer to spray my racks with Pam to keep the meat from sticking on the racks and also makes cleaning them an easy job. If you have a Bradley Smoker this is a good addition to double your smoking output at a minimum of additional cost.

My smoker is not a Bradley. I have an older side fired smoker. My reason for purchasing these racks was for carrying and smoking smaller things like bacon wrapped meatballs, chicken bites, etc. I thought the price for 4 racks were very good. Have used them twice and have been very pleased. You have to be sure and spray them with some non-stick product so the cleanup will be easy. I find the quality good. So far I have no cpmplaints.

I am knocking off one star simply because there is a design flaw, but it is easily overcome.

When you close tight the fill cap, there is no where for air to enter the handle to allow the water to flow out.

If you remove the cap, it works great, tho I may simply drill a small air hole into the handle somewhere. I am afraid of just loosening it as it may fall into the hot grill during use.

It is better than spashing water with a cup because it releases a small amount of water at the exact moment of the brush's contact with the grill. You may get similar effect by dipping a SS brush into water each and every stroke, but that sounds like a lot of work as well.

I simply clean the grill while it is still hot just after cooking and even between batches if I see a need. It only take a few seconds and is much easier than turning it on later just to clean it or leaving all that gunk on there until you next want to grill something (and then waiting for it to re-heat again). The added bonus is that it cools down the grill that much faster so I can put the top on again that much sooner.

I have tried many different methods and before this, I had settled on one of those grill cleaning bricks (which, in turn, I had to clean every month or so with a SS scrubber and soapy hot water)

One reviewer of the pro suggested it melted onto the grill. Since SS does not melt, I suspect he was pushing so hard the grill bars went past the bristles and touched the base. There is no need to push that hard at all. Either that or he cleans it with the high flames still on and they reach the plastic. Turn down/off the flames just before using it.

I like that the removeable brush is held into place with a wingnut because other removable heads I have had, had problems with the brush slideing out of the handle while I was using it.

The pro gets better reviews and may be a better design, but this was an impulse buy for me at BBB with one of their 20% off coupons.

My wife is always looking for ways to make me more helpful around the house. She knows I hate to clean the grill even though I use it a lot. I got tired of buying steel brushes to clean the grill and have them all gummed up in a few weeks. She bought me the Grill Daddy and I finally got around to trying it and it works pretty good. You have to turn the grill on high and you load the Grill Daddy with about a cup of water and you go to work. The water on the hot grill turns to steam and it got my grill looking like new. Now, it didn't help me with all the other cleaning that I had to do on my Webber gas grill. I still have to spend a Saturday afternoon taking care of all that is below the grill. However, I know I can get the grill clean in a relatively short period of time. I only used it once and I know it came with an extra set of brushes but I don't think that these brushes will gum up all that soon. (Especially since I don't clean the grill that often). However, I couldn't help but see all the gunk on the grill fall away into the drop pan rather than sticking to the brush.

I won this product at my Company's secret Santa Christmas party. I was hesitant on how well it would work given it's an "as seen on TV" product. However, it works better than any grill brush I've ever used. The brush has 3 small holes located where the bristles are, so as you brush your grill, the movement of the brush causes water to leak out the holes onto the grill. The water helps to steam away cooked on food, and then the brushes scrap it off. It works wonderfully and gets my grill perfectly clean for the next meal. Just make sure you let your grill pre-heat to about 400 degrees, then in about 15 seconds of scrubbing with this brush, it's perfectly clean and ready to use. I would highly recommend this product.

Ordered this a while ago and just used it. I have a weber grill and have had it for years. I have used heavy duty brushes to clean the grill but nothing has done the job this one does. Get the grill nice and hot, fill it up with water and start scraping. The water comes out at a nice pace and along with the brush which is quality it cleans it extremely well. I was impressed how nice a job it does without the heavy or hard scraping. Worth the price.

Chef's Design 20-Inch Double Burner Reversible Grill/Griddle

I got this griddle for my wife for xmas she absolutely loves it. She has cooked chicken, pancakes, etc on it and no problems. She raves on how easy it is to clean and how good it is. I looked high and low for griddles and this one is it look no further for the perfect griddle.

Update 3+ Year of usage and still loving this. It remains super easy to use and clean up. It does a great job with pancakes, grilling during the winter and anything else we have tried to cook on it. I highly recommend this!

I used this more before I bought the Cuisinart Griddler (the Griddler's plates are diswasher safe, my two favorite words.) I think the key is to adjust the temperature. Start on medium but as the food cooks, lower the temperature to keep juices from burning. I do not suggest it for marinades that contain a lot of sugar because the non-stick coating is delicate. If you do burn something, immediately after cooking, turn off the heat, leave the grill in place and pour water on it. Use a nylon scrub brush to loosen as much food as you can as the water steams. Dawn Power Dissolve works if things burn on it, but do not leave it on for a long time because it will damage the coating.

A bonus is that it really does thaw foods fast too.

Great product if you treat it well.

Very convenient and affordable but its antistick coating is very gentle. Also, I wish they would make them with higher sides like those on grill pans. When I was using grill pan my stove top was much easier to clean, now I am trying to cover my stove with foil sheets to make my cleaning easier...

I use this grill in my apartment, where I have a small (UGLY) range. I have it permanently covering the left side of my range, which works great for me.

It's SO easy to clean. The nonstick coating is just as good, if not better than other commercial grill pans. It sets on top of my range like it was built to be there. Even when it is not in use it looks decorative.

As for actually cooking with the grill, it is simple! A few squirts of cooking spray, set both burners to medium-high... you have a great, consistent grill pan. No excess smoke or grit.... it's amazing.

Have had the griddle approximately 2 weeks and have already used it to grill steaks, sausage and eggs, tenderloins, and hamburgers. Everything has come out great on it! Be sure and read the directions never heat over medium I use a little under medium and everything cooks evenly and quickly with no burning or damaging of the underside of the griddle. Have used the "defrost" function and it really works! Highly recommend this item.
