I use this on BBQ grills and other stove top cookware so I can see when the surface temperature is high enough to start searing food. You can get an IR surface temperature gun for a lot more money, but this thing is simple, small, no batteries, and does the job.

It discolored the very first use and is now used rarely. I was disappointed as I hoped this would help me identify hot spots on my Weber.

This seemed to be a good product the first time I used it. It provided a nice guide to my grill surface temperature, although it was a little slow to respond to temperature changes when I moved it around the grill to areas of different heat don't expect it to adjust in seconds, because it won't. It did, however, tell me the general temperature of the different surfaces after it had sat there awhile.

Unfortunately, this thermometer just cannot take the heat of a charcoal grill. Obviously I don't expect it to display temperatures out of its boundaries, but it should at least survive them. According to the thermometer, my grill surface is off the scale the scale goes to 750, and the needle moved past that all the way back almost to its starting position, which could mean anything above 800ºF. But that temperature seems to have cooked the thermometer! The casing now looks more like bronze than stainless steel, and all of the color on the dial has turned black. The surface of the dial has also darkened, and the glass bezel turned a bit cloudy and brown. And it's definitely not a matter of cleaning it; I gave it a very thorough scrub. It's probably still usable I'll try again tonight but it's going to be a lot harder to read the temperature.

Bottom line if your "high" grill temperature is weak (in the 600 to 750 range), this might be a four-star product. If your grill gets hotter than that, it becomes a two-star product after the first use.

Note that I'm not promising it won't cook at 600-750ºF, but it certainly cooks above that.

Wagner 905 1,500-Watt On-Demand Power Steamer and Cleaner

First let me say... I am an agonizer-analyzer. I read all of the reviews out there on Amazon and the web that I can find. I was down to this... the Shark vs. Wagner steamers. Both seemed similar in reviews... I saved $5 bucks by purchasing the Wagner. I received it 1 day earlier then expected. I opened the box and dug in (yes, I am also a person that doesn't necessarily read the instructions... until I can't get something to work that is.) Guess what? EVERYTHING worked without reading the instructions. Note to the wise, it is probably best if you do. I have since gone back to ensure I was operating the machine safely and correctly.

I LOVE IT! When people say in their reviews that they couldn't stop cleaning stuff, it is SOOOOOO true. These are the things I have cleaned so far. 3 kitchen sinks. I couldn't believe how clean they became. They are all stainless and shining like mad. I really do believe they are clean enough to eat out of them (not that I would). I have granite counters with this itty bitty grout between the sinks and the counters. I didn't realize they used white grout... oh my gosh, they look like they were just put in and they are 11 years old.

What else? Yes, I didn't stop there. I went over to the stove. It is stainless steel with gas fixtures and iron grates. Do you know how many cleaners I have purchased for the black metal top that have never made it look like it was really totally clean? MANY, MANY, MANY. This machine did it! And I honestly have to say, I didn't put any real elbow grease in at all. It lifted stains that I thought were permanent. It also removed a burn mark in the stainless steel which had been there for at least 3 years (with a lot of scrubbing that didn't take it away). And, after using the machine, it was really only a matter of wiping a little water residue away.

I really like the length of the handle/hose. I left it on top of one counter and was able to walk around the kitchen without worrying if the yellow beauty was going to fall off the counter or not reach where I wanted to take it. Gotta LOVE IT!

Ok, the above were only a few things that I cleaned in the first 15 minutes of opening the box. I probably could have cleaned more but I figured I would save my joy for another day.

A few other comments... I read a review that it was loud to operate. The machine itself doesn't make any noise. It isn't like a motor is going while you are trying to clean. The only noise that is made is the high-pressure steam coming out of the nozzle. What do these people really expect? Hello.... It was music to my ears because of the clean-up it was doing. I can imagine that you wouldn't want to be locked in a small closed in space for long... but hey, it didn't take that long to see it sparkle.

This truly is a great investment, fun to use with FANTASTIC results.

I originally came here to amazon to buy a steam mop after seeing a popular informercial. I dont trust infomercials so i came here to read reviews about the product. I eventually discovered that instead of a steam mop for just my floors I could get a full steam machine that will do the entire house.

I am so glad i did not get just a steam mop, i would have missed out on the true power of steam. Five minutes after opening the box i had assembled the machine and was filling the tank with water. The steamer heated up quickly and i began steaming. I was excited to see what it could do and it didn't dissappointed.

There are 2 things in my house that I absolutely hate cleaning. They are the glass enclosed shower stall and the jacuzzi tub. So I started steaming there.

I have a 3 sided, 8ft high glass enclosed shower stall that i dread cleaning ... (it is dreamy to look at, but a nightmare to clean) Using glass cleaners was a tedious chore, it would take over an hour to clean all that glass and it still left streaks in the glass.

The wagner cleaner did the same job in less than 10 minutes using the squeegee attachment!! And no streaks! My glass stall was perfectly clean and beautiful using just steam. I am excited because now I can clean the glass shower more often instead of avoiding it like i have been doing.

I then went to clean my jacuzzi tub ... this is what prompted me to write this testimonial. I havent used my jacuzzi in 3 years because of how difficult it was to clean the jet nozzles after using the tub. The jet nozzles in the tub became clogged with soap scum and dead skin after only a few uses and the only way to clean inside those small jet nozzles was with a swab stick. Talk about tedious!

I was so exicted to see the wagner steamer power through that grime in seconds and leave the jet nozzles looking brand spanking new!

This alone was worth the purchase of this product for me. I havent used it on my floors yet, but at first glance the floor attachment is a bit small for me. I have a lot of square footage to cover so i wish it was bigger and i wish there were replacement towels. But all in all just based on the way it cleaned the glass shower and the jacuzzi jet nozzles this is a priceles warrior in the battle of the grime!! I dont know how i got along without a power steamer all these years!

Day 2 of cleaning, I discovered my cat has being using my new sofa as a urinal. I decided to try the steamer on the urine stains. I was not sure what to expect but i was amazed and suprised at the result. The urine smell dissapeared without the use of any chemicals. Leaving behind a near perfectly fresh scent. The fabric was black so i cannot comment on whether or not any visual stain was obliterated. But this result with pet urine was exciting enough for me to amend my review.

This steamer is TERRIFIC!!! I purchased it to clean tile and groutespecially the kitchen floor. The brush attachment with the terry cloth pad did a good job on the tile-the brush attachment without the cloth pad was just the ticket for cleaning the grout. AMAZING!! While I've only used it to clean the kitchen floor so far, I gave this product 5 stars because 1) it's solidly made 2) it performs as expected 3) the way they have designed the continuous steam function makes it safer than other steamers I've used 4) it's easier to use than I expected-the steam ( and good design) did most of the work-with other steamers I had to do most of the workwithout the expected results 5) It's functional and versatile. 6) It's the best steamer product I've used-much better than most of the ones sold shopping channels. I purchased the Wagner Power Steamer for one reason, to clean grout. I recently purchased a house built in 2003. The previous owners did not clean ANYTHING. The kitchen is full tile with larger grout lines. I thought the grout was brown, but that was before I started using the Wagner steamer on it. The kitchen had several areas of the grout that was almost complete black. The section behind the cooktop was completely covered in grease with a yellowish/red hue. We tried oven cleaner and it didn't make a dent in the grease.

So with that said I set the steamer up and used one of the black brush attachments on the small steam wand. After 10 minutes or so, I had a technique down that worked extremely well. I would say I spent about three hours cleaning all of the grout lines on my kitchen tile, including the back splashes that go to the bottom of the cabinets. The grout went from looking brown/black to light grey. It literally looks like it's brand new. The grease melted away like it was nothing. It does take a bit of elbow grease, but the steam does an incredible job of cleaning.

It also worked well in the shower to remove mildew and soap scum from the grout. However my area has very hard water and it will not remove hard water stains. So for some people I have a feeling that the grout gets dirty and then caked with hard water deposits. The steamer cannot get through this layer, so it cannot clean the grout. I used a pummace stone in conjunction with the steamer and had much better results. It also cleaned vinyl flooring and other items around the house well. For the price I paid, it more than paid for itself on the very first day. My Mom laughed at me and thought I had bought another 'tool' that wouldn't get used. She commented after I finished the kitchen of my new home that it was one of the coolest cleaning items she had seen in a very long time. If you use it for it's intended purpose, I think you will be more than pleased. If you have hard water deposits, don't count on this to blast them away.

I also tried the flooring attachment, and it works but at a slow pace. You're better off with a standard cleaner and a scrub brush on a pole. This tool is more about focused cleaning on a small area, and it excelled for me in that role.

Wow! I have battled light colored tile grout for 3 years. This steamer did a great job of blasting the dirt right out. I have used it on tea stains in my car, tile, linoleum (even got the dirt out of the grooves), stove, shower, toilets etc... I am very pleased. I do agree with another reviewer's recommendations to wear ear protection when using the small attachments it is loud. Using the mop attachment is not a problem. This is a much better option than a steam mop and not much more expensive. I love how much I can get done with one fill up and it is so much more versatile and powerful. This is the best cleaning product I've bought myself. Every once in awhile I buy something that actually works.

I used this product one time and placed it on my kitchen counter. The next morning there was liquid on the counter under the brush. The batteries had burst and battery acid was leaking out discoloring my new quartz counter top. We have had to clean everything that may have been on the counter as my 2 year old plays in this area as we prepare her breakfast. She easily could have touched the liquid and then placed her hand in her mouth or eyes. This is a dangerous product and should not sold.

this would be fine for single servings I suppose, but for cooking for 2 or more people it's too small and food set near the edges doesn't cook very well, and sometimes not at all. It was so very difficult to clean as well. The little tray that catches the fat tends to fill rather quickly and then your stuck trying to figure out how to empty and replace it while hot grease continues to drip from your cooking food.... not possible... so you just hope it doesn't make a huge mess.

Bottom line.... not good for more than cooking one thing at a time, doesn't cook even around the outer edges and a pain to clean.

Steven Raichlen Best of Barbecue Stainless Paella Pan

This is a great stainless pan, good quality, great price, very fast shipping! My only problem is that in the measurements it says it is a 16" pan, and no where does it specify that the measurement is from handle to handle. While it doesn't hurt my feelings to have a nice Paella pan, I purchased it to be a lid to my 15" cast iron skillet and sadly it won't work for that.

This pan is great. I have used it twice in the grill and still in mint condition. Is for 2-4 people. I will get a larger size later on for anytime we have more guests!

Thought I was getting a heavy duty Grill resistant Paella pan. Paid 40 dollars for a 15 dollar flat bottomed wok. No rolled edge, so it potentially could cut me when washing, because it's sharp. Warped when I put it on the stove top so the bottom became rounded and it wobbled as it cooked. Not sure why, but the stainless steel stunk after I cooked on it, and still stunk after I washed it. Not impressed with the quality. Looks like a chinese cheap wok with a flat bottom. Won't be using it on the grill anytime soon. Sorry Sorry Mr. Reichland, not going to be buying the brand anytime soon again.

I've been watching George's informercials and regular commercials since they first appeared, and I've always been tempted to buy a grill. They were kinda pricey, so I never did. But then, I got one of the small grills with the bun warmer as a gift, and now... I AM HOOKED! I have every intention of buying the extra large grill as a result of the fun I've had with this one.

What you've heard about the grills is all true--they're really easy to clean, they cook food incredibly fast and evenly, and food really does come out as juicy and tender as the commercials show you. Tell you how good it works: I decided to grill skinless, boneless chicken tenders one night for dinner, but they were frozen solid, and I had a group of surly, hungry family members waiting. Just as a gamble, I put the tenders on the George grill to THAW them a little. Well, they thawed all right and were completely cooked in about 8 minutes. Color me surprised!

I've done steak, pork chops, chicken, and shrimp on this little grill, and with each use, I get better and better at gauging the cooking time. I do recommend that you use cooking spray to further the ease of cleanup because spices and marinades tend to blacken (or even burn) where the ridges press into the meat, and cooking spray will slow/stop that. As there's no temperature control on this model, everything cooks at max power, so time is of the essence in making sure what you're cooking doesn't blacken too much.

The bun warmer does just what it promises--warms. No worries about burning the bread because it doesn't toast; it just makes your breads nice and soft. I enjoy the color choices for the lid with this model--I think it's a fun little extra that gives some personality to a simple appliance (I recommend the purple). There's a spatula and drip tray included, and you'll find that the spatula is better used as a scraper than it is for anything else--it makes short work of removing stuck-on food, etc. You'll be stunned to see just how much fat drains away from your food.

If I had to come up with one negative point about the grill, I'd say this: it's not hard to burn yourself on it. The heated surface extends to the sides of the grill, so if you go to move the whole unit, it's really easy to char your fingers.

It's a great introduction to the George Foreman line of grills! The price is incredibly reasonable, and the machine works so well, you'll be glad you got one.

I bought the George Foreman grill as a joke for my husband (it DOES say "Lean Mean Fat-Reducing Grilling Machine" on it), but we used it every day for three weeks solid after it arrived. The reason? It's EASY, and the food turns out really tasty!

This particular model is small, and will only cook one or two portions of meat at a time. However, the grill cooks from the top and bottom all at once to cut your cooking time down to mere minutes! The grill is tilted and comes with a trough so that all excess fat is drained away from your food. Pretty nifty! It's also fairly easy to clean up -you just wipe down the grill and throw the trough in the dishwasher.

We've used the grill for chicken breasts, Boca Burgers, regular burgers, pork chops, steaks, and even bacon strips (it's GREAT for avoiding a bunch of messy bacon grease). It cooks even frozen meat in a relatively short period of time, and it cooks it thoroughly. It's easy to throw something on the grill, sprinkle some seasonings on it (BAM!), and let it cook for a few minutes while you fix the rest of the meal. It is hard to overcook things, and it's fun to have grill-lines on your food.

It took me awhile to believe the hype about the George Foreman Grills, but they are easy to use and deliver good results. In fact, this might be a good way to introduce your older children (12 and up) to rudimentary cooking. The George Foreman grill is a great choice for people who don't have a lot of time to cook & clean, who aren't yet confident cooks or don't have a lot of cooking experience, or for anyone who wants an easy way to make a tasty meal!

i heard so many people say good things about this grill that i decided to get one for myself. it definitely makes grilling easy and fun at the same time. since purchasing the grill, i've cooked bacon, hamburgers and steaks. you can cook a pretty good sized steak but it can't be too big. the grill's big enough to cook 2 hamburgers at a time though. it works really great on bacon, though because all of the fat drips off and then it's easy to dispense with because it runs into the little plastic container that comes with the grill. you have to cut bacon slices in half for it to fit but it's not a big deal.

basically, i would recommend this grill to anyone looking for a fun and easy grilling solution. if you need to cook for large groups of people (4 or more) you'll definitely want a bigger size but it's perfect for cooking for one or two people. it grills foods fast because you don't have to cook one side and then turn it over. both sides grill at the same time and they cook pretty evenly. you have to get this grill!

After seeing this thing on the Superbowl commercials, I just had to have one. So I went out and purchased one of these things. I LOVE it! It works the same way that the original did, but this time there is a bun warmer included on the top of it. The only negative that I could find with the product was that the bun warmer tends to dry out the buns a bit, but if you add a little bit of water, it tends to steam the buns if you would like your buns steamed. Other than that, this is a great product and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Weber Style 6452 Barbecue Apron

This is an apron with a bottle opener attached. Done, and done. Seriously though, this is a great quality apron. It's about twice as thick as the "Kiss the Cook" type aprons you can get at the supermarket, and it looks more like what a man would want an apron to look like. It basically looks like they took a car mechanics uniform and turned it into an apron.

It has a small pocket at the top for a probe thermometer, a wide but not deep pocket in the middle, and a beer sized pocket to the side. It also has a bottle opener attached with a little cord.

It would be better with the addition of a small pocket for recipe cards and the like. Also, the neck hole is a little larger than I would prefer. I'm not tucking briskets under my chin or anything, but splashes do happen.

BTW I bought this because I ruined a pair of shorts when I bumped into a greasy part of my grill. Live and learn.

Update: I overlooked the fact that the neck strap and waist ties are all the same thing. It's just one long strap, and you can adjust the neck hole accordingly.

I got this for my husband as an early Father's Day gift. We tried using a apron we had but it wasn't heavy duty enough and looked girly. :) This one is perfect. It's Weber which means it'll last a long time. (I have their 3 BBQ tool set and it looks like brand new after over a year). It has a simple design, is thick material, and the added pockets, adjustable neck strap, and beer can opener! are great add-ons. He likes it and it keeps the flying grease and burning bits off his clothes and body when grilling.

This is a nice apron for grilling. It has a number of pockets which are great for thermometers, timers and other gadgets you might need, and the built-in bottle opener is at least amusing even if you don't use it often. The loop that goes around your neck is the same strap as the back ties so it is somewhat adjustable (you can shorten the neck loop by lengthening the back ties and vice versa). Pockets are all rather wide, except the one the bottle opener is attached to (which we reserve for that and bottle caps), so objects like cell phones often rotate and lay on their sides at the bottom which may make them harder to grab. Overall, the quality seems high and the detailing is nice.

FYI, the bottle opener DOES come off for when you want to wash it, but you have to be strong enough to get the clam-shell type clasp apart. With that said, the actual apron SEEMS rugged and high quality. However, every single seem has come untwined after ONE wash. I'm disappointed that I didn't wash it until AFTER the 30-day return policy was up :(

Maverick GL-01 Fluorscent Stainless Steel Grill Light

I have an LED grill light with a dual magnetic/screw-clamp mounting mechanism. Both the LED light and its clamp work well enough. However, I thought the fluorescent light would provide a brighter light and illuminate a larger area (the LED light illuminates a small area as if it were a miniature spotlight).

I was wrong! The fluorescent light does cover a larger area bit with less brilliance. I decided to go back to using the LED.

Another consideration the difficulty of getting a stable mount/grip with the fluorescent light's squeeze-to-open mounting clamp.

the light is not quite as bright as I thought it would be and the clip is very tight and I have trouble finding a place on my grill it will clip on. The light does help some...better than before. The item was shipped fast & brand new as promised.

I do not have this bbq. mine is an older 8 year old version of same built in bbq. I do all of the cooking in my house. My wife and I love steaks that are hot off the grill. We followed the instructions for this item and found that they do not hold the heat very long at all. Knowing what I know now, i would have passed on this purchase.

These skewers are wonderful exactly what I was looking for!! They're dishwasher safe (always a plus) and long enough that I can leave the ends off the grill, so they'll stay cool enough to handle and turn. The skewers are a little less than 1/4 inch wide and relatively thin, which keeps food from sliding around and rotating on the skewers, giving better control for cooking. Also, they're thin enough to fit between fork tines, and food doesn't stick at all, so it's easy to slide food off onto a plate.

As another reviewer has mentioned, these are most definitely not stainless steel. They are a chrome-plated alloy and the plating had already started to chip when delivered. I'm rarely disappointed by well-reviewed products on Amazon, but the strong rating on this is a miss.

These are nice, shiny chrome plated skewers. I'm sure they will work but I hate being miss-led. I work with stainless steel every day and I'm certain these will not last as long as stainless would. One star for miss-representation.

They hold stuff, are flat (to hold the food in place when you turn them) and a good length so you can close the lid. You will need a glove because they do get hot. If that bothers you, buy the longer ones that have wood handles and let them hang over the edge of the grill. Good value. Unless you really need 12 you can give half to your neighbor. Maybe they will invite you over for dinner.

Mmmm. I love this item. I have been searching for months trying to choose a Panini maker. The choice to purchase from Grover Brothers Restaurant Equipment was an excellent decision. They were there from me from the beginning to the end. I had so many questions. It was hard because I wanted a nicer panini maker than the average model yet there were no reviews to go by. Also, I am not an experienced restaurant owner so I didn't know how to use it. This one, the Adcraft is not like your home panini maker. Also, it is bigger than I imagined. It can probably make 6 sandwiches at a time and it weighs near 50 pounds! I love panini's so much! If you decide to get one, don't get alarmed like I did about the initial smell and smoke. It is the wax burning off the grill and is normal for first time use. Also, I was not experienced and my first panini stuck to the grill because I did not "season" it first. After I used the wonderful included wire brush to clean the grill, I used peanut oil to brush the grill and left it on for about 15 minutes at about 340 degrees. The second panini was perfect. Not even close to sticking. Apparently, after you season it with oil, it is good to go for many panini's. No need to butter the bread. I am very happy with this panini maker and I will update this review if possible. If you have the chance to order from Grover Brothers Restaurant Equipment, they are an honest and fine company to do business with.

It works really well (crisps bread nicely), but is a bear to clean. IF you are NOT a commercial company, then there is NO warranty or guarantee. If you buy it, then that's it. It is a lot of money, so think about it. If it is flawed or anything goes wrong right away, you cannot deal with the company. Best thing you can do is find someone who can repair it and pay for it yourself.

a VERY SUBSTANTIAL PAN. Doesn't put grill marks on the food as much as I'd like but I think you'd need to set the pan on high which apparently is a no-no, to achieve it. I have a ceramic top electric range

so it works fine for this type of range, even tho' the bottom is not flat.

I have only used this grill pan a few times; for some reason it is not perfectly round. I have been sooooooo careful with this pan, that I have no idea how it lost its shape. I would have really appreciated a GUIDE as to how to use this pan for different foods there was NOTHING! I have learned my lesson I will not order pans online in the future; this was not inexpensive, and I do not have any idea as to how to utilize this grill pan to the fullest.
