Rollie EggMaster Vertical Grill

Rollie EggMaster Vertical GrillThis egg rollie from Kalorik has to be the oddest item in my kitchen I have tried out. The whole concept this will turn any food into a roll. Wealthier its eggs, pancake, desserts, chicken and cheese right into a roll. You can also add anything to the rollie, veggies, pepperoni, meat, cheese and so forth to make it extra yummy! Its pretty odd at first for sure, but once you try it more it's not that bad. Super easy to clean and super easy to store away. The sticks really help with getting the food out the long tubed hole. There is also a metal pole with a flat head that goes inside while cooking, to help heat up the food as it goes. This is kinda heavy product for sure and you can use it anywhere. You can in your house, office, RV, and camping if they have plugs. The lights help tell you when the food is done and its ready to eat. The food actually tastes pretty good in this rapid oven/grill rollie. The nifty pink brush you use on baby bottles came with this and you use it to help get it clean. It's also suggested to clean it all the way on your very first use. If I could simply get 5 minutes to fit into my schedule I will get a video of this rollie working.

I was excited to buy this..but after 4 uses it died on me. It just stopped working. When I plug it in, nothing happens. I've followed the manual. It died mid-cooking the 4th time I used it.

Disappointment. I guess I should have expected that though. I liked using it the three times it worked. It's a shame it didn't last.

I've struggled with cooking for a long time. I practice preparing culinary delights daily, but always end up screwing them up. The number one offender is ALWAYS eggs. I tried boiled, easy over, scrambled, poached, raw...I can never get them right. Now this thing comes along and I can finally make eggs in a tube on a stick, which is a wildly popular dish in the finest Parisian eateries and those hidden culinary establishments that Anthony Bourdain rattles on about incessantly. Eggs in a tube on a stick is well worth the 50 dollar price tag on this thing. If that wasn't good enough, it's excellent for pizza rolls in a tube on a stick, burritos in a tube on a stick and even the elusive and difficult to execute cinnamon roll in a tube on a stick. There's your four food groups right there, kids. Nothing else screams fine dining like cooking s*** in a tube and skewering it before eating it. My girlfriend LOVES the way I scramble her eggs now and as a result, she's letting me "scramble her eggs" a lot more often (now that I'm not constantly a festering, oozing burn victim due to those evil frying pans). No more grease fires as I heat up my oils at insane temperatures because I'm trying to pick a small fragment of egg shell out of the egg bowl...or burrito shells out of the burrito bowl. We have so much free time now to spend in the bathroom with explosive diarrhea caused by our new diet of junk foods in a tube on a stick. I used to wonder if there was a god out there, and now I'm sure there is. Thank you Jesus, and thank you Team International Group of America, Inc.

Answer: who cares! Cooking eggs sideways is badass and I've always wanted a cylindrical uh, thingy anyway. So it comes with five skewers, which is perfect for my whole family. Well, once anyway. But the best part is it's ONLY $50!!! I mean, now I don't have to cook any eggs in a stupid skillet or watch the water boil for 3 hours. Egg, skewer, boom, DONE. Plus, happy ending. Nuff said, five stars.

Sharper Image Motorized Grill Brush

Sharper Image Motorized Grill BrushI don't know why this got so low feedback, but it really works to my family. I have been using one since 2008. It has no any problem for its function. While, it takes some labor to clean after every use.

Anyway, I am not sad giving that you can get it around 20$

I used this product one time and placed it on my kitchen counter. The next morning there was liquid on the counter under the brush. The batteries had burst and battery acid was leaking out discoloring my new quartz counter top. We have had to clean everything that may have been on the counter as my 2 year old plays in this area as we prepare her breakfast. She easily could have touched the liquid and then placed her hand in her mouth or eyes. This is a dangerous product and should not sold.

I purchase this and put the batteries in. About 15 minutes later I picked it up to give to my son it was red hot. I opened the battery compartment batteries were so hot they were actually melting and leaking a large amount of clear fluid. It burned like h----.

Maxi-Matic EDB-302 Elite Cuisine 1000-Watts Double Burner Hot Plate, WhiteThis product has relatively wide-set coils, an indicator light, and is modestly priced. It is adequate for our needs.

I purchased this item several weeks ago from Amazon. It was delivered in it's original box ONLY.The box came torn and the item came with pieces broken.I feel the item is not very WELL made, although the choice of proper packaging was obviously not used in transporting the item to me.I always trusted Amazon and buy from Amazon very frequently, mostly books which I suppose have a low possibilty of being truly damaged in transit. Now that I have purchased an item that requires some care in packaging I am extremely dissapointed that such a well known, and LARGE company has such inadequate shipping policies.Buyer of items needing care in packaging BEWARE!i FOR ONE WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING BREAKABLE FROM AMAZON AGAIN.I WILL GET IN MY CAR AND SEEK OUT A STORE WHERE I CAN PERSONALY SEE TO THE ITEMS SAFE ARRIVAL.

X3 1000-WATT Modular Psu

X3 1000-WATT Modular PsuI will start by saying I generally trust the Ultra line of products, and I really do think this is a fluke.

When my PSU arrived, I did as anyone would do and hooked that puppy up, checked and triple checked my connections, and held my breath as I pushed the power button.

The first thing I noticed was an electric burn smell and the fact the PSU seemed to "rev" slowly. I thought this was just a new item burn in smell so I watched the boot. Everything seemed fine (YAY!)...well, no... not YAY! I ran a program or two and then powered down to do a reboot. Posting seemed fine until the very end and it seemed to snag. I looked at my computer and both my DVD drives had their red activity lights on without the regular stutter. They were the only things connected to the molex connectors. I unplugged the molex and everything worked fine, other than the fact my two DVD drives are now possibly fried. :( Unfortunately Amazon doesn't have any more of these in stock so I have to pay $40 more at Tigerdirect. I want a modular. :( I will update this after I get my 2nd unit. If it works like I want, and my DVDs aren't actually fried, then I will upgrade the score.

They do not appreciate their customers, RMA policy is ridiculous!

Libman Long Handle Grill Brush

Libman Long Handle Grill BrushI've used this product, the Libman Long Handle Grill Brush, for a number of years now. I recently replaced a brush that I have used almost weekly for six years! Damn thing doesn't want to wear out! Brass brush is sturdy, doesn't seem to diminish in length with repeated use, and is deep enough to adequately scrub between the grill's grate. Long handle makes its use over a hot grill very comfortable. What more to say?!

This is a superior product. For those who have porcelain-coated cast iron grill plates, you really want to have a Brass brush and not a Steel brush as Brass is gentler on the porcelain surface. This brush, though slightly more costly than some brass brushes, is worth the cost. It is attractive, has a really good feel in your hand and appears to be well constructed and sturdy and it does a good job where it is supposed to, cleaning the grill plates. The hook on the end of the handle was just a little too small to fit the hanging hooks on my Huntington Grill and may be too small for some hook handles but I keep the brush inside the grill cabinet anyway so this did not concern me. All in all this appears to be a fine Brass Grill brush.

Lodge Logic L410 Pre-Seasoned Sportsman's Charcoal Grill

Lodge Logic L410 Pre-Seasoned Sportsman's Charcoal GrillI ordered this heavy (33 pounds) little jewel from Amazon a week ago, got it much earlier than expected and tried it out the day I got it. I now have 4 grills: An "oil barrel" type that is perfect for when the family tribe shows up, 2 Weber kettle types in different sizes for weekend entertaining and now the Lodge.

I've had several cast aluminum discount store hibachi's over the years and after the wooden handles fall off, the legs become impossible to tighten and then the "adjustable" supports for the grill crack. I don't see that happening with this hibachi.

Let the grill pre-heat, spray it with PAM and then enjoy the meal. The heat is even, cooking times may be a bit faster than you think, but the dish will be excellent.

HOWEVER! If one is cooking on a wooden deck, as I do, invest in some bricks or concrete pavers to go under the feet. Like all cast iron, this sucker retains heat and you don't want to burn your house down while entertaining guests.

Look for the book "The Honerable Hibachi" by Kathryn Popper. An excellent guide/recipe book.

I wonder if this would be safe to use in a large fireplace in winter months. Any ideas?

I'm thinking about getting another Lodge and then finding a home for the smaller Weber.

Get one and then enjoy your hibachi.

Update Feb 26, 2006:

I've now had the Lodge Hibachi for 4 months and typically use it several times a week. Clean-up is even easier than it was when new. Remember to put a little olive oil or PAM on the grids first and the seasoning improves. In cold, rainy weather, the hibachi fits and cooks nicely in my fireplace (thanks, Ukiechris!), but I crack a window when I do that.

Although quite heavy, it's a great picnic grill and will easily cook chicken, steaks or burgers for 4 people. My Webers must think I don't love them anymore. I do, but the Lodge is perfect for 1-4 people and chicken cooked on the hibachi has a flavor my kettle or barrel grills just can't match.

Besides cooking for that tribal gathering, I'll let you know if I find something the Lodge can't do.

A great little grill! Though I grew up with weber, kettle type grills, and even tried a trash-picked gas grill, I have never used a grill that cooks so consistently well.

I use mine with hardwood charcoal -this gets the temperature hot, fast. As soon as the charcoal is lit up I spread the coals outward, drop the grill on top (on the high side of the legs), and let it warm up for a couple minutes. Once the cast iron is warmed up the heat radiates evenly across the cooking surface. To check the temp, I hold my hand 4 inches over the top of the grill -if I can hold it there for more than a couple seconds, it is not hot enough. Without adding charcoal, I usually have just enough time to do two batches on the grill.

For steak, I leave the meat on for four minutes each side. When I pull it off, it has a nice crispy crust, and a perfect pink inside. When I cook burgers, I leave them on five minutes each side. And, chicken, I'll take a boneless, skinless chicken breast and pound it flat with a fry pan before tossing it onto the grill (this prevents the common problem of dry on the thin end and too pink on the thick end). Four minutes each side, and when the milky juice flows out when pricked with a fork, you know that it is perfect and juicy. I cook fish in a similar fashion. A little flavor tip: Some coarse kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper added to your meat before cooking is usually all you need to have excellent results.

Now, for roasting or smoking, this is not the product for you. Since there is not a lid it would be impossible to cook a whole chicken, for instance. Buy a weber for that. But a weber will never acheive the kind of perfect steaks and burgers that you get from one of these.

We have had our grill for three years now. It has lived outide our home the entire time in all kinds of weather rain, snow, ice, or sun. And I was grilling in all conditions. I have performed absolutely no maintenance -never oiled it, never cleaned the ashes. It seams perfectly happy in this state of useful neglect.

If you want a great charcoal grill, this is what you want.

One of my friends received this as a gift to use for tailgating parties. After a few uses, he decided it took to long to cool off, was to hard to clean and had put it back in the box with the intention of setting it out with the trash! Fortunately before he did, he saw me looking at it on this website and asked if I planned on buying it. I said yes and he said don't because he had one that he was going to throw away. If I didn't mind it being used and a little rusty, I could have his. I took it. It was rusted but I scrubbed it, oiled all the parts, and seasoned it in the oven (it was still cold outside so I couldn't fire it up)!

This little grill came in so handy when we bought another house in the spring and removed the stove to make way for the new one. I cooked on it everyday. What my friend found as a disadvantage, I found as an advantage, it stays hot for a long time!

I grilled everything, half smokes, kabobs, burgers, chicken, veggies, fish, etc. . . and nothing stuck! I also grilled ribs on it. I sliced them into individual ribs, placed them on the grill, and covered them with foil (crimped the foil around the rack with tongs). They turned out really good. I used my little cast iron skillet on top of the rack to scramble eggs, and blacken steaks (lots of coals needed for that).

The grill is very durable and as long as it is properly taken care of will provide many years of grilling pleasure! I really like it because the grill rack can be put in the sink for easy clean up and as long as it's properly seasoned, I don't have to worry about my food sticking to it.

I also have a 22" weber kettle grill that I use when I want to grill a lot of food or large items. If I don't, I set this one inside of it on the grate and use it instead. This is an excellent grill for a small household, and I recommend it over the other hibachi type grills. It's great for camping but keep in mind that since it's cast iron it takes a long time to cool down, so start grillin' early!

I love using the Sportman's Grill. It gets hot fast and temperature control is easy with the damper and two-position grate. I keep mine seasoned with pam and keep the water out by covering it with an old cookie sheet while it cools down.

This grill is definitely for hardcore charcoal users. I can see where less experienced grillers might not be able to get good results. If you need a thermometer to cook a steak, this is not your grill. If you cam measure temperature by how long you can hold your bare hand over the coals, this grill is for you.

I only gave it four stars because I don't find it very easy to clean out. All of the loose parts have to be removed (grill, charcoal grate, damper door, and the front door) to get all the ash out. Also, I find the carrying handle is nearly useless. The grill is unbalanced so that if you try to pick it up with all of the aformentioned parts attached, it tips over and all the parts end up on the ground. Be careful.

Pros:

1) Beautiful sear marks and flavour

2) Preseasoned, so it's easy care, just wipe down with an oily paper towel, and remember to cleanup the ash after use.

3) Simple effective no-frills design.

4) Can be used as an outdoor firepit.

5) Sturdily built.

6) The oval shape is much more space-efficient than the round one:

a) for finding somewhere to put it,

b) the cooking surface you can fit 6 burger patties on this, flank steak, a full rack of ribs, good sized slab of salmon...(not all at once!) plus two or three medium potatoes wrapped in foil next to the coals. You can cook for 2-6 pple.

c) in arranging the coals for the right type of heat for what you want to cook.

Cons:

1) No lid -For a lid, I would suggest the Cajun Classic brand cast-iron oval dutchoven flipped upside down.

2) Matching oval-shaped Lodge cast-iron Dutch oven is discontinued (could be used as lid, griddle and dutch oven).

3) It is heavy

4) It is ugly

5) Design too basic? Could be made more user friendly with height-adjust option during cooking. Currently, you have to flip the grill over to change height.

You have to really know your coals. Not very charcoal-phob friendly.

6) Limited use:

a) Cast Iron retains heat and cools slowly, so not very pratical for anything where you might have to move it before it cools.

b) Needs to be baby-ed: water + ash = lye, which will eat away at the cast iron bottom causing rust. So no open grilling in a snowstorm, during unstable weather, or leaving out overnight to cool. You have to go back out when it cools to put it under some sort of cover.

Needful accessories:

1) Oval dutch oven to be flipped upside down and used as a lid.

2) Chimney starter.

3) dutch oven lifter which can we used to lift the grill grate and adjust the height while grate is still hot.

4) alternately a pair of heat resistant gloves.

5) 2 pairs of heat resistant tongs, one for fiddling with the coals/ash and another for cooking with.

6) The nylon cover to help protect it from weather (better than nothing, but a garage or shed is best).

Conclusion:

Love it for its efficient size and shape, great sear marks and flavour. Hate it for when the sky threatens to snow/rain.

Precaution for those who live on the shore:

I live by the shore and have salt water mist roll in overnight. I MUST move it into the shed, as moisture/mist/condensation will collect even under the protective covering. Also, a well oiled and cleaned grate will rust in the salt mist if left out overnight.

Morningware HO12003-WOR Halo Oven - White

Morningware HO1200M-WOR Infrared Halogen OvenLove this oven. I don't know how much electricity has been saved since we hardly ever use our large oven any more. I would bet it's quite a bit, not to mention all the heat we keep out of the house. " Which is a good thing when you live in Florida ". We generally use this oven a couple of times a day, so it definitely has had plenty of use in the last 2+ years and it's still working like the day we got it. Nearly every thing I cook is done in here. Unlike a microwave oven, meat and chicken brown beautifully, also works great on garlic toast. It also can be set for a delayed start if needed. This works out just fine for the 2 of us, since we don't make large meals, even though this will hold a 8 or 9 lb roast or turkey " Larger if you order it with the extender ring ". This does cook quite a bit faster than a conventional oven, but not as fast as they say it does. And yes it does cook from frozen, it will take longer of course. There cooking chart tells you how long to cook individual items that are frozen or not frozen. All and all this oven has worked out exceptionally well for us, we would be lost without it.

The digital timer can be set from minutes to hours, depending on your needs. The temperature can also be set from 190 deg. to 400 deg. When the timer turns off, the temperature will automatically reset to 190 deg and keeps your food at that safe temperature till you turn the oven off. A nice thing about this oven is the interior is lit up, so you can watch everything cooking. This oven is extremely easy to clean, there is a heavy glass liner on the bottom that comes out easily and is dishwasher safe. That goes for the stainless steel rack also. For most items we generally put aluminum foil on top of the rack, so cleanup is a snap we just throw the foil out. The clear plastic dome very rarely needs cleaning, since the food rarely splatters. But if it does, it's just a matter of wiping it out with a damp cloth.

NOTE *** SEE MY PHOTOS UNDER CUSTOMER IMAGES ON PRODUCT PAGE :: THANX.

About 3 1/2 years ago I bought the NuWave oven from a TV commercial. I cost about $130 with shipping the oven and a extra plastic gadget they give you, but have to pay shipping for. It stopped working in 13 months, one month after the guarantee was up. I liked the way it cooked, but decided to look for an alternative oven. I found this one for less money, without the extra gadget and free shipping. So far I am very well pleased with it, and would highly recommend it.

UPDATE;::: It's over 3 years now and still working great.

There are many convection ovens out there that do an OK job. This stands head and shoulders above the rest. I have tried many including American Harvest (too delicate for long term use); Deni Glass Bowl (uneven heat left meals overcooked it parts and under cooked in others); NuWave (please proect me from the broken covers); and then finally the Smarter Image. My last go with the Sharper Image put me on a search. I was convinced there just had to be a competent, long-term oven that was well supported. Here it is. The Sharper Image broke within weeks. They delayed and delayed in fulfilling the warranty, so I bought the Morningware. I have now been using it for months. It is a champ. The food is evenly cooked (although I lace string potatoes around the outside of the grill otherwise they would cook on the outer rim and not the middle). Yes, the replacement Smarter Image arrived. Too late. It is still unopened in its box. My wife and I use this oven several times a day. We are most impressed.

The Power Head failed after approximately 10 minutes, which required telephone calls and emails to the manufacturer to have it replaced. After a 7 day wait, a new powerhead arrived. There were no shipping costs for this. But that wasn't automatic. Initially, they wanted me to pay shipping. So it never hurts to ask (or insist), as my mother used to say!

Since the replacement, I have used the oven several times and am quite satisfied with the results.

I bought this amazingly powerful convection oven over four years ago, tried it out then, loved it, have been using it from time to time, and it is STILL going as strong as ever!!!

The extremely powerful Halogen glass-encased heating element lights up to an attractive orange glow, heats up really fast, and combined with the powerful fan, a powerful curculation of super-heated air is created!! To quickly sear and cook roasts, steaks, poultry and chops.

Baking cakes and breads is also a cinch! I use this unit to help as a supplement to the regular stove oven and even alone in the summer to help eliminate a torridly hot kitchen. It's a doll!! Healthier cooking is acheived by unhealthy grease draining away from the meat and into the glass drip tray. Can't say enough about this unit, except that it is great!!!

Motorized Grill Brush with Steam Cleaning Power

Motorized Grill Brush with Steam Cleaning PowerThe "steam cleaning power" means that the brush squirts a weak stream of water onto your grill. If your grill is hot, it will steam. A squirt bottle is a better, cheaper solution here. The power brushes rotate slowly and bog down easily. This product isn't worth the cost of the 8(!) batteries it requires, let alone the purchase price. Save money and time by buying any manual brush instead.

This was a Christmas gift for my father. The motor worked but the water did not spray. He had to return it and pay postage and Amazon would not just simply replace it. Seems like you should be able to return a defective product and not pay postage and be able to get a replacement.

Weber 6431 Charcoal Grill Tool Holder

Weber 6431 Charcoal Grill Tool HolderMoney well spent. I never was impressed with the tool holder from Weber that is made out of wire. The wire version is 1/3 the price, but you get what you pay for. I use my Weber kettle as a low temperature smoker (250 degrees), and it's vital to keep the temp constant for 6-8 hours. My initial concern was the the tool holder would cause an air leak between the bottom and lid, and create a problem, but the fit is tight as ever, and my latest smoke with this tool holder in place was the same as before using it. HIGHLY recommended addition to the Weber, so spend the extra money on this version.

Not much to say that hasn't been said in the few reviews so far. It really doesn't get hot, fits my 22.5" kettle perfectly and does what it's supposed to do including looks good.

The only thing I could say I'd like to see different is narrower "hooks" for some tools that don't have a strap but have smaller holes. But I haven't been able to find ant tool that I use that doesn't work just fine with it though.

Buy Weber 6431 Charcoal Grill Tool Holder Now

Works well as advertised.

Pros: Clips on easily, good build quality and looks nice on the grill. Holds most grill tools, even non-Weber ones.

Cons: Sometimes gets in the way of hanging the kettle lid but slides around easily. Ironically the ease of sliding is periodically annoying when trying to quickly hang a tool.

It hold up to three utensils (or more with strings attached to them). I have no complaints about this, other than the fact that it should have been included into the cost of the actual grill.

Anyway, if you have a Weber, buy this with no regrets. I can't even imagine what a negative review would look like for this product.

LG 26 In. Wall Sleeve and Stamped Aluminum Rear Grille for Through-the-Wall Air Conditioners - AXSV

LG 26 In. Wall Sleeve and Stamped Aluminum Rear Grille for Through-the-Wall Air Conditioners - AXSVA4I had a small a/c wall unit and could not find any suitable wall sleeve. This is the most reasonable one I could find, so I took a chance. Fortunately it worked out nicely. You could not tell the actual a/c unit itself was a lot smaller than the sleeve. But it worked nicely and the price for a wall sleeve is on of the best. I would definitely recommend.

It works great, it fits perfect and does what it needs to do. It was easy to install with the air conditioner.
