Char-Broil 3184727 Deluxe Electric Rotisserie

Char-Broil 3184727 Deluxe Electric RotisserieI have to say that the con to this devices is the spit itself... come on why would make a spit in two pieces attached by a nut that bind the two pieces together ... to me it seems it is the weakest point in the whole device. I broke mine while I was tightening it... luckily I ran out to buy a cheap rotisserie for the 1 piece spit it contained... The spit need to be sturdy and appears to be flimsy... stay away from this one. Char-Broil 2584727 Deluxe Electric Rotisserie

I wasn't sure about buying this rotisserie after reading other negative reviews and wish I hadn't. It didn't even make it to the grill. The rod comes in 2 parts that have to be screwed in, one into the other, and the threaded end snapped off before it was even tightened down all the way. This is clearly not well-made and I would guess if it had made it into use, something else would have failed later on.

This item is great!! It installed right on the pre drilled holes on my BBQ and I was off and running! Only drawback is that you have to remove the brackets in order to put your grill back on. I cooked a chicken and it was beautiful!

Char-Broil is generally known as having a pretty good product line; this is not one of them. The spit is a two piece affair that is assembled by screwing one half into the other half with a washer between them. The problem is that the threaded portion is too long to be tightened down to the other half; so it breaks as you attempt to tighten it down as instructed by the sheet accompanying the product. However, based on other reviews (which I wish I had read prior to purchasing the product) this is not new news, so let me add dealing with Char-Broil.

Had I purchased this item locally, I would have brought it back to the seller and demanded either a refund or a new one. Since that is not what happened, I contacted Char-Broil. Even though this product has no warranty information on or in the box I knew I would get some satisfaction if I harangued them enough. Surprisingly it wasn't all that difficult, once I explained to the customer service rep what the problem was and that the item had not been used yet he said they could fix the problem and make it right, then he asked where I purchased it. When I said Amazon, he said that I would have to send the item back to Char-Broil (using a trackable service) and they would replace it; however, here is the rub, I had to send the entire item back, including the parts I had already assembled on the grill. So, I took all the parts back off the grill, then put them back in the box and marked the box with the RMA number supplied and using the shipping box it came in from Amazon, I repacked it and shipped it via UPS to Char-Broil, at my expense.

The day after it arrived in Georgia (where it was being shipped) I received an automated email from Char-Broil requesting that I contact them in reference to my item returned. When I contacted them, I found that what they wanted was a credit card to charge $8.95 for shipping and handling to return my replacement product to me. Needless to say, this did not go over well with me and after some discussion they decided to return it at their expense. Be forewarned, Char-Broil's warranty on ALL items is that the consumer pays shipping in both directions. I hate to think what would happen if there was something wrong with my grill!

When the replacement item gets back to me, I will see if the threaded portion still appears too long to fit into the other side and if so, I am going to grind it down some until it fits easily and rely on the lock washer to keep the two halves together.

Everything is fine with this except for the spit. It is a two piece contraption that has no strength. It worked fine for the first two times I used it but just now as I was roasting two chickens it broke and dumped our dinner into the flames. DON'T BUY IT.

Revere Polished Aluminum 11-Inch Nonstick Square Frying Pan

Revere Polished Aluminum 11-Inch Nonstick Square Frying PanThis griddle was exactly what I hoped it would be. Its shape and weight are perfect for making French Toast, and it's very easy to clean afterwards. The price was fair, and the shipment very speedy. It's safe atop ceramic cooking surfaces, too.

Linden Sweden Crushgrind Tulip Spice Grinder

LINDEN SWEDEN Allgrind Ceramic-Mechanism Spice Grinder - Red**UPDATE Mar 25, 2012: I found a spice grinder here on Amazon that does flax seeds: Krups 203-42 Electric Coffee and Spice Grinder with Stainless-Steel blades, Black. If you're looking for a good flax seed grinder, take a look at my review of the Krups grinder.**

I purchased this grinder specifically to grind flax seeds two tablespoons at a time. It works... if you've got all day. I put two tablespoons of fresh flax seed into the grinder and twisted...and twisted....and twisted... After about a minute of grinding I had a litte bit of flax seed dust. So I tried grinding with various coarseness settings. Same result: very few of the seeds were ground. Desiring to be "fair", I filled the grinder with as much seed as it could hold, thinking the added weight of seeds would push the others into the grinding wheels to produce more ground product faster. Nope. This grinder still produced little product for the effort. Finally, I decided to stand there and grind away for as long as it takes to get my two tablespoons of ground flax seed. My wrists began to ache after 3 or 4 minutes and I still didn't have quite the two tablespoons full, but it was enough to get on with breakfast.

Out of curiosity, I put some sea salt rocks in this grinder and wow! It grinds sea salt like a champ. Then I put some peppercorns in this grinder and wow again! It's great with peppercorns, too. I wish I'd known this before I bought the two expensive salt and pepper mills I already own.

With my curiosity now out of control, I broke a couple of cinnamon sticks into shorter pieces and popped them into this grinder. it works well enough for those rare occasions that I need freshly ground cinnamon. Wanting to be thorough, I covered a couple of sticks of cinnamon with a paper towel and crushed them with two or three whacks of a hammer (a meat tenderizer would work, too) and put the pieces into this grinder. Phenomenal! It did a great job of grinding crushed cinnamon sticks.

Summary: If flax seed is what you want to grind, don't buy this grinder unless you have plenty of time and strong wrists. If you're looking for something that looks great on the casual dining table and happens to do a great job of grinding salt rocks, peppercorns, and crushed cinnamon sticks at a great price, buy this grinder. I wanted to give zero stars to this grinder because it does a terrible job of grinding flax seeds. But because it does a great job grinding salt, pepper, and cinnamon AND is reasonbly priced, I give it 5 stars and plan to buy two more.

This is a nice spice grinder to keep on your counter. I have only used it for cumin seeds so far and it is fantastic for that. You will never buy pre-ground cumin again. It does require a lot more turning that you would expect (maybe 40 turns for a 1/4 teaspoon), but it's worth it for freshly ground spices.

24Apr2012 I am removing a star because the number of turns required for grinding is just too high. I ended up replacing this with an OXO Good Grips Pepper Mill that has a crank.

Buy Linden Sweden Crushgrind Tulip Spice Grinder Now

I purchased the mill to use for grinding flax seeds. While it does an excellent job, I gave it 4 starts because it is impractical for this use. It takes about a minute to get a teaspoonful of flax seeds ground up, so it's useless for those wanting to grind the daily recommended amount of 2 tablespoonfuls. I tested it on peppercorns, red pepper flakes and dried basil, and was very impressed by the result.

This is a splendid little grinder. I'm up to three of them one for sea salt, one for mixed peppercorns, and one for a favorite herb blend. I'm considering adding a couple more for dried chipotles and smoked salt. Absolutely no complaints, a terrific product. Very easy to use and clean, and I like red. ;-)

Wireless Bbq Thermometer

Wireless Bbq ThermometerThis thermometer functioned as advertised for about a half dozen meals. Then problems started to compound. First the base unit had difficulty connecting with the remote. It would disconnect spontaneously and get stuck searching for a signal indefinitely. Eventually the temperature readings started to vary wildly. The device finally gave up the ghost when any attempt to connect the remote would cause the temperature reading to max out. Everything I'm describing happened within the span of three months.

Even if the thermometer worked, it's just not an enjoyable product to use. The buttons feel gummy and you have to push hard to get them to respond. Your target temperature options are limited to a handful of pre-sets and there doesn't seem to be a way to set a custom temperature alarm if you're heating something to a degree other than the normal temperature of beef, lamb, pork chicken or fish. It's simply a cheap product all around and there are many superior options for the money.

Other Oregon Scientific wireless thermometers with many reviews do not fare well. Many people have defective units that end up being paper weights. Think twice before buying this unit.

For the price, the Oregon wireless remote grill thermometer is a great tool. Can't grill without it.

Minden Grill Company MMC1000 Master Natural Gas Grill, Classic Black

Minden Grill Company MMC1000 Master Natural Gas Grill, Classic BlackI have mixed feelings about this purchase. I love the grill and the looks of it and its cooking. However, as of now (June 2009) this grill is not ready, in my opinion, for natural gas customers yet. It looks like it was a quick conversion from the propane version, but not well thought through. It is too complicated to explain here, but there is a kink that the gas pipe needs to make in order to stay within the grill that is actually scary. Makes you wonder if gas will actually flow through that kink. It does, hopefully safely... (see attached pictures)

I need to give 5 stars to the people of Minden for customer support! They promptly replied to e-mails and called me back immediately to walk me through setting it up and solving problems. They have also committed to replacing parts that need to be replaced and also to mail me an upgrade part for the natural gas grill, when it becomes available, so I will update this review as needed.

The setting up/assembly instructions (that are also apparently being upgraded) are not totally correct, have mistakes and seem to be not completely converted from the propane model.

Overall, I think this natural gas version was rushed out to the market, probably to meet a demand. The grill looks great otherwise, and cooks very well (only used few times). Small, light and very mobile, if you need to move it around.

This is a copy of my review for the exact same GREEN model of this grill. For some reason they are not listed as one item with color choices so I have posted the review for the other colors, having actually purchased the Green model.

*****See Update Below******

Having now had this grill for over a year, I would describe it as a decent quality grill for a fair price. I use this grill frequently, probably twice a week or more, even in winter. If you are an occasional user, you may find this a more ideal product.

The Good Points-

1) It looks great and is perfect if you don't want and over testosteroned massive stainless grill on your property.

2) The quality and functionality is decent.

3) If you get a hold of a real person at Minden, they are very nice and will go out of their way to help you.

4) Heats up very quickly.

The Bad Points-

1) You MUST purchase separately the stainless steel grate. The included enameled grate will wear out in less than one season.

2) The wood handle will also become moldy in less than a season. I extended it's life by using some spray varnish on it, but I would still prefer the stainless steel one (which I've seen at Williams-Sonoma on a version of this grill that only they sell).

3) The spatter plates become quickly rusty. Minden was nice enough to send me (essentially for free) 3 stainless steel ones.

4) Some of the bolts which hold the unit together become rusty over time, they should be made of stainless steel, but they aren't.

5) The grill does not evenly heat, and has hot and cold spots, which over time if you understand where they are you can compensate for them.

They really have the makings of a great grill with some small modifications, I would encourage them to change some parts to stainless steel (described above) and attempt to resolve the unevenness of the heating surface.

******UPDATE April 8, 2012********

After having this grill for about two years, I sadly have to conclude that it's not something I would buy again.

The rust has continued to the point where critical functioning parts are failing. The bracket for the trough which supplies gas from burner to burner has failed, causing the trough to fall off. I've managed to stick it back using some rocks so I can still use the grill.

The hot and cold spot issue seems to have gotten worse, and it's also now hard for me to get the grill started without pressing the start button 10 or 15 times.

Additionally, the threaded plastic gas tank hookup broke in half, and I had to replace it with a new one.

After doing some math, I've concluded that the cost of ownership of this grill is simply too high.

At 479, lasting two years, means 249/year (this does not include the MANDATORY cost of buying the Stainless Steel Grate)

***Conclusion: I've pretty much settled on purchasing the American Outdoor Grill Model 25PC (with back burner). It's basically the same physical size, but at 1650 is considerable more expensive. However, nearly every part on the grill is guaranteed for 10 years, with some parts being guaranteed for longer. Even if one figures that the all stainless steel, made in America grill will last for 10 years, the cost of ownership per year is only $165.

Taylor 807 Weekend Warrior Digital Fork Thermometer

Taylor 807 Weekend Warrior Digital Fork ThermometerThis fork thermometer takes an accurate temp reading; and is a good deal for the price. It does have one quirk -it has a button to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit which I keep accidentally hitting when I hold the fork. So I end up reading the temperature wrong because it has inadvertently changed to Celcius. Just be aware of this and the fork will work fine for all sorts of cooking.

I purchased and reviewed another meat thermometer and gave it one star due to how long it took to come up to temp. I got this Taylor in hopes of much quicker read time, and definitely got what I was looking for.

It comes up to temp in about 2-3 seconds (very fast in my book), and the bright blue display with big numbers is easy to read. The design feels solid and sturdy, not cheap, and I like that it's water resistant. If I were to give any criticisms, I don't really like the "Hold" feature and find it pointless. I wish the backlight stayed on all the time and you didn't have to press "hold" for the backlight. But, for the price, this doesn't ruin the 5-star value to me. I don't think you could find a better meat thermometer for this price.

George Foreman 360 Electric Nonstick Grill with 5 Interchangeable Grill Plates

George Foreman GRP106QPGB 360 Electric Nonstick Round-Shaped Grill with 5 Interchangeable Grill Plates, BlackI have had 3 Foreman grills over the years, first I got the Champ for college, then I moved up to the Next Grilleration, and now its on to the 360. The 360 has really stepped it up a notch. The multiple removable plates make this grill the one to have I think. I have made a massive omelet and it turned out perfect. I made quesadillas and they turned out perfect. I made chicken and once again came out perfect and had the classic good amount of drippings. Every plate worked like a charm and cleanup was so much easier. than the previous models i think. I look forward to using this grill for years to come!

Update:

Okay run into my first issue and its a BIG one. For some reason the area made to hold the plates on have gotten warped or bent after their first use (assume it was after I had set it to its highest and had cooked some chicken). I'm not sure if its from the heat or what but the top plate will no longer stay in place!!! I locked the plate in place to cook some chicken, lifted it up 2-3 times and it was fine, but I opened it up once and the plate popped off and ended up falling to the floor as I wasn't about to catch the thing. The plastic handle shattered and now any plate I try in the top does not seem to sit right and pops off after use :( I'm not sure what to think at this point, I was really impressed at first but after this debacle I'm not sure what to do with the thing as its now junk if I can't put any top plate on without it falling off.

I've used and loved Foreman grills for years. I had one of the first generation grills and then replaced it with one that had removable plates. This 360 version is my third Foreman grill, but it is by far the worst of the three, although there are still some good points to it.

The first and biggest problem is the temperature. It just doesn't get hot enough! Nothing gets brown and if you have to cook in batches, it will cool off so much by the second batch -even if the green light is off -that the food takes forever to cook. (The light goes on and off during cooking, on meaning it is heating and off meaning it has reached the correct temperature.) So far I have tried quesadillas with the quesadilla press plates and the tortilla never got brown and crispy. The grill plates were used a few times, once on fish which didn't get those attractive grill marks that previous Foreman grills would have imparted. I used the grill plates again on bacon-wrapped shrimp and had several soggy pieces of bacon even after cooking for over twice as long as required.

A second problem is that some plates don't have a good fit. The top grill plate is very loose and wobbly even when it's connected properly. I made a pizza in the grill (using refrigerated dough and homemade toppings) and while it tasted just fine, the top grill plate didn't fit right and the lid wouldn't close properly. The back part of the pizza near the hinge was dark brown while the front part of the pizza was hardly brown at all.

Another problem is the size and the short power cord. Because the unit is round and has the handle on it, it takes up more counter space. You don't have a flat side to scoot up next to the wall as you could previous versions. Also, the unit is quite tall and you can't open it fully when it's anywhere near a cabinet. Combine these size issues with the extremely short power cord, and I almost have nowhere in the kitchen to use this grill.

The good: The plates do wash up nicer than in earlier Foreman grills. The pizza won't stick to the pan at all, and the marks in the quesadilla press are pretty handy. It's an attractive unit. The handle is bulky but otherwise handy.

I think this is a great idea for a grill, just executed poorly. Part of the appeal of a tabletop grill is to get grilled taste and appearance indoors, and the 360 simply doesn't achieve that.

Buy George Foreman 360 Electric Nonstick Grill with 5 Interchangeable Grill Plates Now

I'm going to get all my all my gripes out of the way first. Several reviewers have already talked about the annoying sticker. I pulled mine off with my fingers and used Goo Gone to get the remainder.

The operating temperature of the grill varies widely. I used an infrared thermometer to measure the heat the grill produces. On "high" the temperature tops out around 450. But the temperature must drop by over 200 degrees before the grill cycles back on again. It's not unusual for modern appliances to have swings of 50 degrees or more, but 200 degrees is a lot. It explains why the grill seems slow at times. If you want your food to be done quickly, put it in the grill just as the green ready light goes off, when the grill is hottest. One good thing, the grill was uniform, never varying more than 20 to 30 degrees from edge to edge. No cold or hot spots.

The round shape and large size means that this grill takes a lot of room on your counter. When you try to stand it open, you find it is too tall to fit under overhead cabinets. The only way it will work in my kitchen is to place it directly in front of the outlet I want to use (it has a short cord), and turn the unit 90 degrees so that the hinge is perpendicular to the edge of the cabinet and the lid opens left to right allowing it to clear the overhead cabinet.

Even while you're using the grill, you must store the extra plates. They're over 12" in diameter plus the handles, and they don't stack easily. They're too big to store vertically in some cabinets. The manual warns not to use metal instruments on the Teflon surfaces, so stacking the plates against each other would seem just as bad. I used paper plates as a cushion between the grill plates.

There are 5 interchangeable grill plates. Two quesadilla plates, an upper and a lower grill plate, and a bake pan that is used with the upper grill plate. So there are three configurations you can make; quesadilla grill, regular grill and bake pan. Of these, the bake pan is the least useful. With the other configurations, the upper plate comes in direct contact with the food, greatly speeding up the cooking process. With the baking pan the top plate radiates heat to the food, but doesn't touch it. A frozen pizza, a DiGiorno Ultimate Thin Crust, took nearly an hour to cook, about three times what it would take in a regular oven. The crust came out crispy, but also tough and thick. All in all, the George Foreman Grill is best when used as a grill and not an oven.

Still, for all these gripes, I'm only taking away one star because what the grill does well, it really does well.

Hamburgers, the most obvious food to make in a grill, come out perfect every time. I have to admit, I was surprised how much fat came off a single 1/3 pound patty. The same is true for steaks. There is a difference in flavor when foods are pan fried in their own fat and when they're grilled. As an amateur cook, I appreciate appliances that make cooking a no-brainer.

By far, though, my favorite thing to do with the George Foreman Grill is to press sandwiches. My favorite? Shaved brown sugar cured ham, shaved beef salami, provolone and creamy italian dressing on a ciabatta roll. After I assemble the sandwich, I put it in the grill and, for a short time, I use light pressure on the lid to press the sandwich. It doesn't take a lot of pressure, gravity does most of the work. I'm eating one of these sandwiches as I write this. It's crunchy on the outside, hot and gooey on this inside. It makes me wonder what other varieties would be good. Ham and cheddar with ranch? Plain old grilled cheese? Mozzarella and pepperoni with pizza sauce? I bet that would turn out far better than a frozen pizza made with the bake pan.

Sometimes the sandwiches spill over, but the removable grill plates are dishwasher safe. The manual warns that the backs of the plates will darken in the dishwasher but I can't imagine why anyone would care. The back of the grill plates aren't finished anyway. The accessories (drip tray and spatula) are dishwasher safe too. About that spatula, at first it seems like a flimsy afterthought. Once you use it, it seems well though out. Perfect for, say, scooping a pressed sandwich off the grill.

My experience with this George Foreman Grill was a lot like this review. I didn't really like it until I used it enough to discover its talents. It's not a baking tool. (I wish it weren't marketed as such.) It's a poor pizza oven. But It's a great grill, a great sandwich press, and fun to boot. I think it would be fun to invite friends over to assemble and press their own sandwiches.

I recommend it if you have three or four mouths to feed. For one or two people consider a smaller model.

I too was so excited to get this grill and cook up something for dinner the day I got it. Unfortunately, there is a paper plate sized sticker affixed right to the top of this unit that clearly states to remove before use. The sticker did not come off easily at all. Just as you start taking it off it rips so you move to another section and start peeling and it rips again leaving sticky gooey glue behind that is very difficult to remove. After two hours, and using several different things to lift the stickiness we were finally able to use the grill. We made quesadillas and they were awsome! I can't wait to make pizza and to grill up some steaks. All around the grill itself is fabulous, but the person who decided to slap that huge sticker on there should be forced to remove every one from these grills themselves.

Now i'm cooking so much more right in the grill...I dont even take it off the counter. Its like a one stop shop. I didnt notice the adjustable angle at first, but once i looked at the manual i thought what a clever feature...it flattens out so that you can griddle or make pizza on the grill (I have not made a pizza yet, but cant wait to get creative!)

I love this appliance. I have made Belgian waffles, omelettes, and frittata but not pancake (yet) to rave reviews by my husband. I have found, though, that I need to set the temperature one number cooler than recommended by Waring.

Want Waring WMR300 Belgian Waffle & Omelet Maker, Brushed Stainless Steel Discount?

I think the product description and reviews are accurate. It is a nice item that does what it is suppose to. It truly is for the most part non stick, although a little non stick spray for the waffle section is something I would recommend.

While easy to clean, in terms of the mess and grime comes right off even the non stick portions, just stuff gets all over the maker and a little on the counter. Not that any of these makers are different. It though would be nice and for the price that this item had a drip to attach to the bottom to help with this.

I love the omelet section. Omelets come out very nice and for my taste senses significantly better then the pan on the stove method. I have also made a grilled cheese sandwiches which were easier to do and less mess then when done on the stove.

I am very happy I made this purchase and splurged on the second compartment not being a waffle one.

Anolon Advanced Bronze Hard Anodized Nonstick 12-Inch Round Griddle

Anolon Advanced Bronze Hard Anodized Nonstick 12-Inch Round GriddleThis review is for the 12" ANOLON ADVANCED BRONZE GRIDDLE PAN (without grill marks). I own several other Anolon Bronze pans and have used them over 5 months. The color is very appealing, although I find the "bronze" to be more akin to dark tan.

This pan looked perfect for my needs; a large, flat pan that utilizes all 12" of the non-stick surface. I purchased two of them to serve my direct purpose cooking large batches of pancakes and fritters.

This ANOLON ADVANCED BRONZE pan is medium-heavy weight, with a comfortable soft grip, cool touch, riveted handle. The cooking surface is deep brown-black in color and is non-stick. The exterior color is not very visible on this pan due to the low, 1/2" height profile, and although listed as Anolon BRONZE, only the handle is colored; the sides and bottom of the pan are a uniform dark gray.

PROS:

* Can utilize all 12" of pan surface, thus increasing "production".

* These pans clean up very easily, with the exception of one pan that has residual grease adhering to the exterior (eldest son used it not sure if the cooking temperature was too high).

* Eye appealing; bronze color is nice, but only visible on handle.

* Comfortable easy grip, cool touch handle.

* Bought it on sale for $50 from another vendor.

CONS:

* Manufacturer recommends only medium temps (not high) be used for cooking.

* Due the weight of the handle, the pan does not sit flat on electric stove burner, subsequently, any shortening/butter/oil used during cooking "pools" at side closest to handle. This results in uneven frying of foods. I resort to tedious tilting of the pan during cooking to assure shortening reaches all of the food.

* Difficulty regulating cooking temperature during initial use. (Note: I pre-warm my pans on LOW for several minutes to evenly disperse heat, then adjust to medium to frying.) On medium heat, the pan seems either too cool to fry crisply, or too hot, causing burned edges of fritters/pancakes. (This could, in part be due to the uneven dispersion of shortening in pan, or simply my need for an extended product "adjustment/acclimation" period.)

* Cooking surface shows minor scratches with consistent use of silicone spatula and only rare use of nylon or metal (an expected finding since non-stick pans are not impervious).

All in all, I DO LIKE these griddle pans with one MAJOR caveat the heavy handle "tilt", causing shortening to "pool" at one side. At a price point of $50-$80 per pan, I wouldn't expect such a design flaw. However, if you cook solely without use of shortenings, then this pan may be the perfect one for you.

If BUDGET CONSCIOUS, you may want to consider the ANOLON ADVANCED black griddle pan Anolon Advanced 12-Inch Open Round Griddle; cost $25-50 with the difference being the color of the handle and perhaps a basic black colored non-stick interior.

I purchased this item, because of the super value and to add to the basic 10 piece starter set I already own. These pots and pans are a nice weight and very non-stick inside and out, which makes for super easy clean up. The color is complimentary to sophisticated and goes well with most kitchen decors. I would certainly purchase this product line again in the future.

Weber 1201 Tool Holder

Weber 1201 Tool HolderThe tool holder works perfect on my grill. I saw a lot of reviews complaining about how the thing will fall off or it will prevent the lid from sealing. I see how this can be true, however if you can spare about 3 minutes and have ordinary pliers ready that can be solved.

I put the holder on the grill, bent the prongs around the lip of it and have had no problems since. It doesn't move, slide, or fall off and the bent prongs allow the top to close with ease. I don't even have a weber grill, I own a char-broil. If you seriously don't have the capacity to bend a little bit of metal then don't buy it. For the rest of you spened the 4 dollars.

Now that I finally bought my new Weber grill (One-Touch Silver) and some new Weber tools, I needed something to hold them. I didn't want to hang them on one of my other crappy grills, so I went ahead and bought this handy tool holder.

Now, I have read previous reviews on this and people have said that they couldn't get their lid to close, or that the tool holder would fall off. Well, it doesn't take much creativity to realize that you can pinch the tool holder onto your grill with a simple set of pliers. This will take care of both problems.

I highly recommend this simple-yet-handy gadget to anyone with a Weber One-Touch grill (except for maybe the One-Touch Platinum, since it has everything you need). It is very easy to use, your lid will still close and you grill-cover will still fit =)

I had no problem with this tool holder. I put it on once and it's still hangin' in there. It makes it very convienient to reach for what you need while grillin'. However, if you do find that it comes off when you take the top off, just pinch it tight with a pair of pliers! Happy grillin' people!!!

This is a handy gadget if you own a Kettle without a table. The clips are a little light and wimpy for my liking.

Solid construction, can be installed and removed easily. If you have large tools you may find the hooks are close together and the tools may overlap. Also due to the proximity with the barbecue the tools can warm up as well. Although these are not really the fault of the holder just the setup of the barbecue itself.
