These skewers are flat, non-stick, and have a sharp point on the end for piercing the food. Because they are flat, foods don't roll around on the skewer. The non-stick coating makes it easy to remove the cooked food, and cleanup is easy. These fit nicely laying flat in the dishwasher, and I don't have to scrub food residue off of them. Compared to my last set of stainless skewers, these are a great step up.

I bought these for my husband who is getting into Grillin' and Chillin'. They work great. They are long enough to fit all the goodies that should go onto shish-kabobs, and they are flat, so what you put on them won't twirl around. Clean up is a snap.

The charcoal skewers are much better than soaking wood skewers to grill with. My wood skewers always seemed to burn on the ends. I like the circle on the non stick skewers they make a good little handle to grab. The design keeps your food from spinning around on the skewer like what happens when you have round skewers. If I need more I will reorder this type of skewer.

I'm only giving 4 stars to this product becasue I have yet to find truly non-stick kabob skewers. They are dishwasher-safe; however, they do not always come clean after a dishwasher cycle. I usually have to soak them overnight in a tall glass of soapy water and then run though the dishwasher the next day. For the price, they are good; however, I can see after heavy summer-grilling use, I will have to buy new next year.

Would have preferred if it had wooden handles so that way you can easily handle it when it best hot, other than that no complaints.

Bayou Classics Cast Iron Square Skillet

Please do not buy this skillet. I purchased the skillet for a gift for my mother-in-law. when she received it the skillet was cracked beside the handle and you could see right through the skillet. Not only that but the quality of the item was very poor not an even thickness to the cast iron at all. Rough felling. I would stay away from this skillet save your money.

I thought I was really smart. I went in the kitchen and measured a skillet to see how large 12" would be. WELL, I was really upset when I got it. {You have to measure from corner to corner.} It was smaller than I had thought. For a good iron skillet ,it's a good buy.But, I can only get 2 chops in it at one time.

I thought I was buying a 12" square pan. I searched on other websites to find more info about size but even Bayou Classic does not give the size. Other sites were also off. I gave faith to Amazon and ordered the pan.

Here are the real measurements:

Outside lip 10.4" square

Inside at the top 9.9" square

Inside at the bottom 8.6" square

Corner to corner, it does measure 12" at the top edge

Corner to end of handle, 16.8" long.

Basically the pan is the same size as the Lodge 10 1/4" square pan.

It felt lighter in weight compared to the Lodge square pan, which can be good, you get the same results of cast iron, but lighter for better handling. You do need to season it.

I have other Bayou Classic pieces and the quality is not quite the Lodge quality but the price you can't beat to get the same cooking results. I plan to buy other Bayou Classics again.

My hint about seasoning: use shortening all over the cast iron, in and outside, heat the cast iron on a gas barbecue at medium-high heat for about an hour, it will rival the quality of pre-season cast iron. I have tried the oven method and I don't think it is worth it to smoke-up the kitchen and it just does not get the cast iron seasoned well enough.

Now I think I'm thankful it didn't. The corner handle seemed like it would be more convenient, but I was specifically looking for a square 12" skillet, and NOT diagonally! That is misleading advertising, unless you're selling tv sets, which everyone knows are measured diagonally.

6-Piece Zwilling Pro Block Knife Set

Recently upgraded our kitchen and was time to update our old Henckels as well (nothing really wrong with them, but they are 10 years old). All we can say is WOW! These are a beautifully finished product. The curve from the tang to the handle is just gorgeous. Typically would not buy a boxed set so went with the 6 pc, wish would have went with the larger set. Looks like we will be buying some more of these beauties to fill the block. Speaking of the block, not a bad looking piece (one of the reasons we went with this set), however be aware it is a little on the tall side and not as angled as typical blocks, so if you are storing under some cabinets make sure you will have some room to pull the knives out. Other than that we highly recommend!

Sagaform Stainless Steel BBQ Skewers with Rack 7 Piece Set

Pro: Good size, not too small. The rack is tall enough. Some other ones I found on Amazon were not all enough to keep food away from, well in my case, a bed of hot char coal.

Con: Teflon coated. While the title says stainless steel, the actual rack and skewers are coated with Teflon or similar material.

At least these are somewhat easy to clean, but the rack definitely gets well heated. I specifically wanted a stainless one without any coating since I'm using it directly on charcoal and camp fire. Teflon will not withstand that kind of heat.

I'm not sure if the inside is stainless (didn't feel like scratching off the Teflon and take a look), but the failure to mention the coating in either the product title and the description page gives it a two star rating.

I already suspected these would be good as I have the standing version and it's been great for a couple of years. These put out a good stream of air and, on the highest setting, make some nice white noise, if you like that.

Great fans for the price. We use this brand and type of fan all over the office where I work, and I wanted a couple for home. I did a lot of shopping around, and can't believe how expensive oscillating fans can be these days! These were the best deal, and they arrived quickly! They do a great job!

Anolon Advanced Bronze Hard Anodized Nonstick 12-Inch Round Griddle

This review is for the 12" ANOLON ADVANCED BRONZE GRIDDLE PAN (without grill marks). I own several other Anolon Bronze pans and have used them over 5 months. The color is very appealing, although I find the "bronze" to be more akin to dark tan.

This pan looked perfect for my needs; a large, flat pan that utilizes all 12" of the non-stick surface. I purchased two of them to serve my direct purpose cooking large batches of pancakes and fritters.

This ANOLON ADVANCED BRONZE pan is medium-heavy weight, with a comfortable soft grip, cool touch, riveted handle. The cooking surface is deep brown-black in color and is non-stick. The exterior color is not very visible on this pan due to the low, 1/2" height profile, and although listed as Anolon BRONZE, only the handle is colored; the sides and bottom of the pan are a uniform dark gray.

PROS:

* Can utilize all 12" of pan surface, thus increasing "production".

* These pans clean up very easily, with the exception of one pan that has residual grease adhering to the exterior (eldest son used it not sure if the cooking temperature was too high).

* Eye appealing; bronze color is nice, but only visible on handle.

* Comfortable easy grip, cool touch handle.

* Bought it on sale for $50 from another vendor.

CONS:

* Manufacturer recommends only medium temps (not high) be used for cooking.

* Due the weight of the handle, the pan does not sit flat on electric stove burner, subsequently, any shortening/butter/oil used during cooking "pools" at side closest to handle. This results in uneven frying of foods. I resort to tedious tilting of the pan during cooking to assure shortening reaches all of the food.

* Difficulty regulating cooking temperature during initial use. (Note: I pre-warm my pans on LOW for several minutes to evenly disperse heat, then adjust to medium to frying.) On medium heat, the pan seems either too cool to fry crisply, or too hot, causing burned edges of fritters/pancakes. (This could, in part be due to the uneven dispersion of shortening in pan, or simply my need for an extended product "adjustment/acclimation" period.)

* Cooking surface shows minor scratches with consistent use of silicone spatula and only rare use of nylon or metal (an expected finding since non-stick pans are not impervious).

All in all, I DO LIKE these griddle pans with one MAJOR caveat the heavy handle "tilt", causing shortening to "pool" at one side. At a price point of $50-$80 per pan, I wouldn't expect such a design flaw. However, if you cook solely without use of shortenings, then this pan may be the perfect one for you.

If BUDGET CONSCIOUS, you may want to consider the ANOLON ADVANCED black griddle pan Anolon Advanced 12-Inch Open Round Griddle; cost $25-50 with the difference being the color of the handle and perhaps a basic black colored non-stick interior.

I purchased this item, because of the super value and to add to the basic 10 piece starter set I already own. These pots and pans are a nice weight and very non-stick inside and out, which makes for super easy clean up. The color is complimentary to sophisticated and goes well with most kitchen decors. I would certainly purchase this product line again in the future.

GR100 Grill for Kicker 10" Round Subwoofers

Fits my Kicker 10" sub woofer well, give it is professional finish. I had to purchase eight replacement screws which were about 1/4" longer that the original screws used to support the speaker to the frame. It give my sub-woofer the added protection against objects in the rear of my SUV.

Hey it is what it says it is, a custom fit grill that protects your kicker sub from crap flying around the trunk of your car. Yes it's plastic like the other reviewer said, but aren't they all pretty muck these days? I wouldn't call it cheap plastic either as in it doesn't flex when you push something into, which is what you want. It sits about an inch an a half maybe two away from the sub box once installed which give your woofer plenty of room to move if you're so inclined to push it that far? Overall I'm quite satisfied with it. My only real beef with it it that kicker doesn't supply the screws with it? Yes you can use the existing ones, but they wont sit flush with the grill as the screw heads are tapered etc. So a minus one star for that!
