Char-Broil 5588001 Porcelain Cast Iron Burner

Char-Broil 5588001 Porcelain Cast Iron BurnerI bought 3 of these from HomeDepot before realizing I could have purchased them for a couple of bucks cheaper here on Amazon. We were close to trashing our 7 year old grill but decided to give these a shot before giving up. So for about 15% of the original cost of our grill, we are basically starting with a new one. I'd absolutely advise getting new burners before ditching your grill (you won't believe the corrosion and crud in those burners when you take them out, which was easy peasy). We went from orange, angry, uneven flames to smooth, consistent blue flames (you want blue).

I bought these for a Thermos grill (made by Charbroil). They work, but the extension piece doesn't fit very tightly. I had one of three where the tube had to be slid in before it was screwed together because they lined up so poorly. And with the end caps, you get a little bit of flame coming out by the screw, where the two pieces meet, and around the end cap. It's not a big deal, but enough that I re-tightened it. It's not enough to freak out about, but is odd to look at.

Works great. I was going to get a new grill. Glad I gave these a try first. Work great easy to install.

My grill is only about 7 years old but the burners and flame spreaders were rusted through. This was the first project to bring it back to life and I am very pleased. Easy to install with great instruction sheet. And the price was much less than buying from the manufacturer's site or a big box store.

After trying another set of burners that did not fit, Amazon quickly took them back and even paid the return shipping. Now that's fantastic service. I ordered this universal set, which was delivered in two days, and it fit my grill perfectly. As a result, I have what is essentially a new grill. Tried it out tonight and it worked just like a new grill. Great product from my favorite merchant. Thanks again, Amazon!

Weber 6421 12-Inch Grill Brush and Scraper

Weber 6421 12-Inch Grill Brush and ScraperWhat can I say. It does exactly what its supposed to do. I own the Weber Q 220. Perfect size brush for a smallish grill. If you own a bigger grill you may want something with a longer handle.

I thought by purchasing the genuine Weber product I would get a quality item. Too bad it is not made in the USA like the Baby Q grill which works very well. 2 pushes with this brush and 3-4 tufts of brass wire fell out. I lightly pulled on a couple of others tufts and they came right out. A waste of money...straight to the garbage. Weber should be embarrassed to sell an item like this. Does anyone test them?

Update I emailed by Amazon invoice to Weber and they sent me a replacement which seems better.

This grille cleaning brush works like a charm. Makes it easy to clean enough the toughest, stuck on food. Highly recommend.

I bought countless amount of grill brushes, and I've had problems with all of them losing the wires as I use them. I have yet to see one wire fall out of this one.

Want Weber 6421 12-Inch Grill Brush and Scraper Discount?

This is a nice brush. It wears kind of quickly, but that's to be expected because the bristles are a soft metal so they won't scratch the grill surface. However, it's inexpensive, so buying a new one isn't a big deal. Be sure to remove the scraper as soon as you buy it, to remove the temptation of using it. Those things murder your grill surface. I use the brush as soon as I take the food off the grill, and the brush is all you need when you do it that way.

Lodge Logic LGPR3 Pre-Seasoned Round Cast-Iron Grill Press

Lodge Logic LGPR3 Pre-Seasoned Round Cast-Iron Grill PressThis is something that had been on my wish list for a while. I had not used one before but I liked the concept. Finally got one for my birthday a couple of years ago, and this has grown into one of my favorite tools. For bacon, nothing is better. I cook up 5 pounds at a time and freeze in 4-slice packs, and this little beauty makes the cooking process easy. Nice flat pieces that are great for that after-work BLT. Works great for panini and is definitely cheaper and easier to use than a specialized machine that does the same job for 5 times the price.

This is a real low-tech old school way of cooking that proves over and over again why its still so popular.

I have one of these and may end up with another. After checking a previous review, someone obviously doesn't understand function as opposed to just looking good. The only thing he rated highly was a cookbook...

I only wish this came in a size that would properly fit a 12" frying pan for when I'm cooking breakfast for a crowd.

No complaints and I know how to clean cast iron.

Buy Lodge Logic LGPR3 Pre-Seasoned Round Cast-Iron Grill Press Now

When you grow up with flat bacon, nothing else is good enough. So I made the plunge and bought this press for the sole purpose of cooking flat bacon in my cast-iron cookware. That makes this an expensive uni-tasker for me (which, along with the screws, is why I only gave it 4 stars), but I still think it was a good purchase.

The construction of the press seems high-quality. It is indeed heavy, but I have no concerns about the handle coming off or anything like that. You do need to assemble it, requiring a flathead screwdriver and an adjustable wrench or pliers, but it isn't difficult. The screwheads sit in an indentation on the bottom of the press and are exposed to the food/cooking surface. The hygiene implications of that might be a problem for some, but those people would probably not like cast-iron anyway. However, the screw indentations are deep enough so that the screws aren't capable of scratching the cooking surface. Cleanup means wiping with some warm water and using a stiff bristle brush if necessary. Dry off and coat with a thin layer of oil.

Use is quite simple. I can't imagine using the press on steaks or burgers since that would press all the juice (not necessarily fat) out of them and make them dry, but it's perfect for bacon. With extened use the wire handle will get warm, but never necessitated the use of mitts or gloves. One thing I noticed while using the press is that you will want to use a pan at least somewhat larger than the press. When I used the press with my cast-iron pan with a 7" bottom, the fat from the bacon had nowhere to go and would end up rising up and over the sides of the press, pooling on top of it.

Overall, it's a well constructed press with the only real downside being the exposed screws on the bottom. The handle stays cool and my bacon stays flat. A bit of a luxury, but worth it for me. Also, if you are going to use this for bacon, do yourself a favor and save the bacon grease to cook with or to season other cast iron vessels with later.

L5SK3 Lodge Skillet

Less than $9.00 and easier to clean up than messing with the two screws.

weight is comparable to the bacon press

Want Lodge Logic LGPR3 Pre-Seasoned Round Cast-Iron Grill Press Discount?

The press functions well enough, but as other reviews have mentioned the handle is shotty. It's held on with bolts which get gunked-up with grease and crud. I have to disassemble the handle (with tools) to clean the press thoroughly. The coiled handle doesn't stay cool enough to touch anyway, so why not use a one-piece design like the Lodge panini press? One good bonus this press offers is I can use it as a lid for the Lodge 6.5" skillet, which doesn't have an available lid.

Tel-Tru BQ300 Barbecue Thermometer, 3 inch black dial with zones, 4 inch stem, 100/500 degrees F

Tel-Tru BQ300 Barbecue Thermometer, 3 inch black dial with zones, 4 inch stem, 100/500 degrees FThis thermometer is excellent for telling the temp at the location installed. I have one on my smoker and one on my Weber Kettle. When smoking, I rely upon a digital with the probe attached to the grate directly under the product. In the Weber, it is excellent for maintaining a good barbeque temp and grill preheat.

In difference to the first review who seems to expect different results than the intended use of a top mounted thermometer, I find these thermometers excellent as well as handsome and easy to read.

We have 3 of these Tel-Tru BBQ 300s. They are easy to see, look great, and most importantly are very accurate.

I have two of these, one on my Weber Kettle OTG and another on my Weber gas grill. The one installed on the gas grill replaced the Weber temperature gauge that the grill came with (which was not too bad BTW). These are large and easy to read thermometers that passed the boiling water test with dead-on 212F readings. In my opinion these are necessary in conjunction with a digital temp probe for smoker/grill management. In the case of the Weber kettle, this thermometer is mounted in the top near the outlet damper and I know that with an indirect fire I need this thermometer to read between 275-300F in order to get the grate temps that I want for a nice long, slow smoke.

Want Tel-Tru BQ300 Barbecue Thermometer, 3 inch black dial with zones, 4 inch stem, 100/500 degrees F Discount?

I'd heard great things on meat smoker forums about this product. I was disappointed that it arrived later than I anticipated and that shipping seemed expensive. It is substantial and thick and seems like a tank of a gauge... However...

Most of all, this product isn't really that useful for smoking meat. For my smoker and most smokers, all you're really going to register is the temperature of the steam at the top of the smoker. I would recommend getting a temperature gauge that goes on top of your grill near where the meat is actually cooked if accuracy is your aim.

If you are going to do some sort of Kentucky windage recording using this to measure your baseline, I'm sure it will work fine. It seems pretty sturdy but I haven't had it long enough to give a real opinion on that side of it.

I bought the maverick temperature gauge on Amazon and it digitally sends me the temperature of my meat and the temperature where the meat or ribs are being smoked (right above the grill). If I had it all to do over again, I'd never have ordered this product because the Maverick does a very good job.

One other thing, it's pathetic that you don't get a washer and nut to lock this thing down. It's an awkward size nut you can't get at lowes or home depot. Tel-Tru will sell you an "installation kit" for like 6 bucks on their site.

Weber Q 200 & 220 Series Vinyl Grill Cover

Weber 9895 Vinyl Cover Fits Weber Q Gas GrillThe quality of the materials and construction of this cover is pretty good, and it will do an okay job of protecting the grill. However, with a few modifications, this cover could have been significantly better.

The cover is "symmetric" from side to side, however the grill has the regulator valve and gas bottle holder on one side, and the cover should have been been tailored to fit around those projections. Weber should have made the whole thing about 3 inches longer from top to bottom so that it could envelop the whole grill better and eliminate the chance of the thing flying off in a high wind. It has a draw string at the bottom, but because the cover doesn't quite come down far enough on the side with the regulator valve, it isn't quite as secure as it could be. All that being said, it is still worth ten bucks.

With just a little bit of re-engineering and a few cents more of material, this cover could be improved substantially.

There just is not enough size to this product. A grill cover should not be such a workout to put on.

FoodSaver T02-0050-05 Quick Marinator 2-1/4-Quart Square Canister

FoodSaver T02-0050-05 Quick Marinator 2-1/4-Quart Square CanisterAs far as a vaccum canister it is far superior to round containers that are availible. The nice part being that it is a better shape for leaving in the fridge and stacking things on top of it.

The tray iself is made of some pretty thick plastic, its not a wimpy thing. Two parts, there is a lid with a silicone gasket around the edge and then the bowl of the tray. The bowl can be machine washed. There is a valve on the top with 3 settings. Open/Vaccum/Close. To use hook the accessory hose up to the valve in Vaccum mode and engage the pump. My 550 takes about 20+ seconds to evacuate the air out with about a pound of meat in the tray.

Its kind of weird but the top is held on by vaccum pressure so if the tray is emty and you grab the top only the lid comes off. But once the vaccum is pulled they are very well held together.

The tray can hold a good amount of food. I like the dimensions.

It is said that using vaccum makes things marinate faster. I'm not sure how true this is as I have never done a side by side comparison. But I have observed one thing. I was making some Jerky and I put one batch in the tray and vaccumed it and put the other batch in a non-vaccum container of similar dimensions. Left both overnight. In the morning when I went mix the meats up so it would marinate evenly all of the marinate in the vaccum tray was gone, it had been sucked up by the mean. The regular tray still had marinade in it. Same meat, same basic marinate (one had chili pepper for some extra heat). The strength of the marinade seem stronger in the finished product as well. So I guess there is something to it.

Either way when I marinate something for a short time I always use the vaccum (if for no other reason than to justify all the money I spent on it).

I own a FoodSaver Vac 1050 and I also had an earlier FoodSaver model which died from years of constant use. I have had the square canister for a number of years, in fact I now have two of them. Suffice it to say, they are a great companion to the vacuum sealer. As the title of the review says, this product is great for marinating steaks, chops, poultry parts etc. Your marinade is able to penetrate deeper into the fiber of the meat and thus you get a much more tender cut.

But I also keep leftovers and cold cuts sealed in this unit. It stores quite well in the refrigerator due to its compact size. Food really does stay much fresher in a vaccuum packed container and the canister is more convenient than constantly sealing, cutting and re-sealing vaccuum bags.

Because you will be able to maintain the freshness of your food(s) longer, this unit will more than pay for itself in no time. If you own a FoodSaver, this is a perfect companion.

I have had four of these, and three have failed. The first two developed cracks, and I suspect that the dishwasher, in which I only washed the bottom part of the marinator as advised, warped and weakened them. After buying two more, the first two having been relegated to the potting shed as seed-starters, I have handled them with kid gloves so to speak, (no dishwasher), and the seal on one fails to hold for even a few hours. So far, so good with the fourth one. Whoopee. These are not cheap items, and even if they were less costly, a 75% failure rate is quite unacceptable. If they really functioned as they should, they would be fabulous for not only marinating in short order, but storing other items as well. All the round canisters and the wide-mouth jar sealer work exceedingly well, but I'll not buy any more "marinators" until there is a successful improvement in design.

Basically, the FOODSAVER system is sound and well designed EXCEPT for the canisters which often crack. Many of us have urged Tilia to upgrade the plastic canisters, and so far they have refused. I do not put the canisters in the dishwasher, or even use harsh chemicals. One canister cracked, pressurized, on the shelf after a few weeks without being moved. When you call Tilia they will let you know that there is NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND on their canisters, which tells volumes about how they view their own product.

Tilia blames their customers for the cracks. I am honestly sorry I did not heed the warnings I read by Amazon consumers before I purchased. I usually depend on Amazon customer recommendations for all my purchases. I have spent much money on Tilia accessories, and am now considering looking for another brand. Hope this helps, Ron

Want FoodSaver T02-0050-05 Quick Marinator 2-1/4-Quart Square Canister Discount?

I initially purchased these because I thought they would fit better in the refrigerator since they were not round, which they do. I also appreciate the fact that you have to turn a dial to release the vacuum so that it cannot happen by accident. However, because the dial is not recessed, the containers do not stack well on top of each other without using something as a shim between them. I wad up a clean kitchen towel into a snake and place it on the top of the lid before placing another container on top of it. This method seems to work fine for holding things in place.

I do not put these in the dishwasher, so I can't tell you how that would impact their life. I have had three of these for a couple of years now, and all of them still function as designed.

Overall, I like this product a lot. They work great for quick marinating of vegetables, something that I do a lot. I took off one star because they don't stack as well as they should.

Camp Chef Professional Grill Box

Camp Chef Professional Barbecue Grill Box for 3 Burner StoveFirst off, I am very happy with my purchase. The heat is pretty even across the entire surface (a little less heat in the 4 corners of the box, but that is expected because the burners are located in the center of the grill box).

A few things to note:

-Thermometer: After I am done grilling, I cook off the excess grease/food before I clean the grill surface. The grease fire cooked the box to such extreme that the thermometer spring was bent in the mechanism. Now the room temperature is showing to be 180 degrees. If you like to burn off the food before cleaning, remove the thermometer (its real easy to do). The thermometer is working but is off by 120 degrees or so now. This is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 (if i could, i would give it 4.5 stars).

-Keep the box oiled: Spray with cooking oil to prevent rust. I lightly spray Pam for Grilling all over the grilling surface and the bottom of the box before I put it in the storage bag. So far, so good! At the end of the season clean the box thoroughly and then apply a high temperature spray paint to the bottom surface of the box (not the cast iron cooking grates, duh). I must stress a high temperature spray paint meant to withstand temperatures in excess of 1500 degrees. If you do this, this will prevent rust damage to the box and will extend its operating life. When its time to break the box out again for grilling, be sure to remember to cook off the paint fumes before putting food on there to avoid a steak from tasting like spray paint!

-Do not cook on Hi: The box is not meant for 30k BTU's per burner exposed directly on the bottom of the box. Medium is still plenty hot to grill things at a fast rate. (In fact I rarely grill higher than low anyways)

-Buy the cover carrying case: Its great because it not only does it make it easy to carry and transport but it makes storage in the garage easy because there is no mess from burned food material flaking off all over your clean floor.

If you follow this advice, you cant go wrong with this product. Like I said the heat distribution is very even compared to other grills i have tried.

Generic Grilling Advice: Dont be hasty with grilling, it takes time and patience before the food is cooked properly no matter what grilling equipment you have. The worst thing is to jump the gun and try to cook fast, only to find out that your food is not just burned on the outside but undercooked on the inside.

I bought this grille as an addition to the the three burner grill. It is OK for steaks, hamburgers, etc. (flat stuff) but since it is so short the maximum height of your food is about 4", maybe 5"( no roasts, chicken or turkey). The box has a bottom made of paint covered sheet steel. It started to peel and rust right away since you can get the box so hot the paint can't take it. When the grill was set on medium, the steel plate bottom glowed cherry red hot. When this happens, the box starts to rust right away.If you lower the heat, the grill plates don't get hot enough for grilling and burgers take forever. The exterior holds up OK but the interior doesn't. Like the Webber grills, the paint or coating on the interior top starts to bake off and peel. My Webber took 5 years to start this process, the Camp Chef started right away. If you have bought the three burner unit and want to grill, this is the only option but I don't rate it very high. The idea is good but the function leaves something to be desired. Oh one other point. I bought the wind screen for the burners because of windy conditions. You can't place both on the burners at the same time! So if you need a screen for the third burner, you're out of luck.

Buy Camp Chef Professional Grill Box Now

This is a rather cheap unit. Yes, it works. You must constantly reapply conditioner to the cast iron, that's the easy part. The worst part for me is , after 9 month's of use, the thin drip bottom of the BBQ box is flaking away with rust. Apparently it was only cheaply painted steel, not porcelain like it should be to withstand the heat and drippings of meat. I don't expect it to last more than a season or two. I expect more from a BBQ box than this.

I have yet to contact Camp Chef to see what they'll do, I'm hoping they will offer a solution.

Read Best Reviews of Camp Chef Professional Grill Box Here

So I cook for our campouts. Typically I cook for 25 or so folks out doors. The Camp Chef 3-burner stove has been our workhorse for many years as it is a great stove. For the evening meal I prepare lasagna or stew or something equally wonderful. I make it in a full-sized disposable aluminum hotel pan, the kind one finds at Smart and Final or other restaurant supply stores. I make all the dinners ahead of time and freeze them. They all go into a giant cooler and stay frozen from Thursday to Sunday. I had been using our BBQ to reheat them but on our last trip it self-destructed and ended up in the campground dumpster. I bought this new BBQ box in the hope that the full-sized hotel pan would fit. I opened my package today and to my joy it fits as though it were made for it. I was worried I would have to leave the grills off in order to have enough room but it even fits with the removable grills installed. I couldn't be more pleased. I will update in a couple weeks if it is not perfect but I bet it will be.

Want Camp Chef Professional Grill Box Discount?

Very disappointed with grill box. The heat deflector is cheaply made and I had a real problem with flare-ups. I modified the box by adding a perforated stainless steel plate below the grate and it helps. This box needs a complete re-design. When the heat deflector rusts out I'm going to fit it with a "flavor bar" design like Weber grill uses.

Paula Deen Porcelain Square Griddles

Paula Deen Signature Porcelain Nonstick 11-Inch Square Griddle, Red SpeckleI bought the griddle about four months ago and after infrequent use, maybe once or twice a week, the red rubber coating started to bubble up and flake off, like old paint. I usually handwash, but now the entire underside of the handle has flaked off. It is a black plastic underneath and the griddle is still usuable, but it looks terrible and that is the reason I bought the cookware, because I loved the way it looked. Calling the Customer Relations number for the supposed lifetime warranty service only gets you to a recording with an address to ship the cookware back for their INSPECTION. If they deem you did nothing wrong, they may send you a replacement. The postage for the griddle would be about half of what it would cost to buy a new one. But, I don't plan on buying any more Paula Deen products.

We love the pan. However, the ceramic coating is not ideal for flat or glass-top ranges. That might be a good thing to add to the product description.

Breville RM-JE98XL Certified Remanufactured Juice Fountain Plus 850-Watt Juice Extractor

Breville RM-JE98XL Certified Remanufactured Juice Fountain Plus 850-Watt Juice ExtractorOk, first of all... I'd bet money that this is a brand new juicer!! It seemed brand spankin' new to me. Breville is famous for their juicers because they are strong and last a long time, and now I see why. It's strong and durable. I thought it was going to be hard to learn, but within minutes (after washing everything) I was up and juicing!!

I was skeptical at first, because I heard it was a lot of work, etc... I actually find it rewarding to do the entire process. You really feel good when you are washing your veggies, and putting them in the juicer. One thing I'd recommend is that if you see the juicer not juicing, stop it and rinse the screen out, or clean it. You will get more juice. Cleanup is not as bad as I thought it was going to be, either. Use a bag to line the pulp and it's easy cleanup. Today I didn't have time, and loaded everything but the machine into the dishwasher. I'll clean the filter myself, by hand, after soaking it in water for about 10 mins. No biggie.

I researched juicers for WEEKS and it came down to this one. There is more output of juice, the pulp is dry, and it's not very expensive. I feel so much better, and healthier, too!! (And it's not all in my head, either...LOL) Please remember that when you juice with green veggies, like kale, you're going to feel like your drinking grass... I just add ginger root, a banana or something, and down it. That's the best method. The rest of the juice leftover, I put in 8 oz. Mason jars and put it in the refrigerator. (Juice 1/2 peeled lemon to it so it won't turn colors) Once you get used to it, you wonder why you hadn't done this before.

I'd recommend this to anyone, and am thinking of getting this for a present for someone. Good buy, highly recommend!

I had a Jack LaLanne Power Juicer, but then I saw the movie "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" and witnessed their preference for the Breville unit. Not wanting to part with $250 for a new one, I scooped up a great deal on Amazon for the factory refurb.

It works great and seems to extract the same or more juice than the JLL. What's best, it's a heck of a lot easier to disassemble and clean. This is very important if you plan on juicing regularly. Trust me, you can spend a lot of time cleaning the JLL and the parts are large and clunky. This unit is smaller, lighter, takes up less counter space and more aesthetically pleasing by far.

On the downside, this unit is much noisier due to the higher operating RPM. Deal with it. How long are you going to run it anyway?

Buy Breville RM-JE98XL Certified Remanufactured Juice Fountain Plus 850-Watt Juice Extractor Now

This juicer is absolutely amazing. First of all it fits (small) whole apples! No need for chopping anymore. This definitely helps to cut down your juice time when you are in a rush. Second, the power of this juicer is incredible. It really gets every last drop of juice out of the veggies & fruits. After making one juice, I scooped out the pulp and ran it through the chute to see if there was an excess juice, and nothing came out! The pulp was practically dry and there was no need to run the pulp through again. You will definitely get your money's worth and get every penny out of those fruits & veggies.

The juicer may be remanufactured, but it is in perfect condition and looks brand spanking new.

Great juicer and great company. I am very satisfied.

I juiced in the mid-90's but got darn tired of the hassle concerning clean-up so I just quit using it and gave the juicer away and never missed it.

Here it is 2012 and I wanted to juice again for the optimal health benefits and I assumed machines surely must have improved from 20+ years ago, and have they ever, this Breville Juice Fountain is incredible, difference between night and day from my old juicer. My family has found that to wash, prepare and juice veggies and fruits etc... has become a family event, it literally becomes fun with everyone doing their part. We chose this type of juicer over the slower ones as we really did not want to turn juicing into a dreaded chore, we wanted one that was fast, easy to clean and not have to shove small cut-up pieces of food down a small chute.

The 3" chute is very convienent, the pulp discharge gets the pulp out of the way without clogging up the machine, the parts are easy to assemble and disassemble and clean-up on the most part is very easy (FYI, you will always have to deal with a filter to clean by hand and the supplied brush is very effective at cleaning the filter/blade part). The juice is pulp free, the discharded pulp (yes, line the pulp discharge container with a plastic bag, to discard the pulp we merely dig a hole in the garden/landscaping and bury the pulp) is relatively dry. The pitcher can seperate the froth from the juice but have found we very rarely use this as we like to stir the finished juice product before consuming so we just stir the froth in with the juice so this feature for the pitcher is useless for us. We have found this powerful juicer merely spits leafy produce into the pulp container, it does produce a small amount of juice from it, but again, very little, if we want leafy veggies in our diet we just eat a salad.

Only problem we had was the filter/blade part did look unduly scratched and worn but amazon.com made that right so we were very satisfied with the price for a recertified machine of this quality versus a new one.

After 2nd use of the juicer the plastic top piece while trying to open for use. This was very disappointing after having read many positive reviews. The machine is relatively quiet and the juice flows well...however the downfall is not with the motor, but with all the plastic that is feeble. The comments and feedback about customer service are also quite true as customer service is quite bad and my request to have piece replaced was met with a reminder that this was a re-manufactured item...I said but plastic was new, oh well that is not covered anyway..only motor for 3 months on re-manufactured. If you want to buy the replacement part the wait is over 2 months at the earliest they advised. So needless to say customer service is not top of mind despite premium price of unit. Anyhow avoid these units with lots of plastic that easily breaks and get steel or harder plastic instead to increase your chances for longevity.

Nordic Ware 2 Burner Griddle 10-1/4-Inch by 17-1/2-Inch

Nordic Ware 2 Burner Griddle 10-1/4-Inch by 17-1/2-InchFirst of all I take the blame for trying to get a very inexpensive griddle. This griddle is appropriate for camping only & is not suitable for big weekend breakfasts at home. The griddle is quite lightweight (again, great for camping) but slides all over the top of my stove while maneuvering food. Flipping a pancake becomes a tricky activity especially because this griddle doesn't have a true handle to steady it.

The reviewer that said this gridle is "big" must be cooking for one person because I don't find that I can fit much more on it than I did with my 11x11" griddle pan that I was trying to replace. My plan was to be able to fix a breakfast for 2 adults and a toddler all at one time so we could all have a HOT breakfast together. Instead I find that I am still eating last because I still can't fit more than 5 small pancakes on the griddle at one time, let alone bacon or eggs.

I recommend this only if you're looking for a small and portable griddle for camping/RVing. If you are cooking at home for 2 or more people then invest a few more dollars for higher quality and a larger griddle size.

Bought this double griddle for our double burner coleman camp stove. It is a perfect fit. Large enough to cook sausage and eggs or pancakes at the sametime. Heats evenly, non stick, and light weight. We did however use non-stick cooking spray with it, I have learned from experience that nothing is completely non-stick. Clean up was a breeze. And store very well with our camping gear.

I really like this griddle. I bought one at a thrift store back in the early 90's and used it until this past year (2008) when it started to look scratched finally and the nonstick wasn't working as well. I think these products from NordicWare are still made in the USA which is very cool. I use this on the stovetop but most of the time I use it to bake everything you can imagine in the oven. Cookies too. I love it and hope this one lasts me another ten years!

This griddle is huge! I can make an entire enormous breakfast on it at once. One of my favorite things is making giant pancakes on it, two at a time. It's just plain big.

This griddle is light weight and will barely cover 2 burners on a stove top. The previous reviewer who identified this as a camping griddle is accurate.

The heat was even and the food was cooked well. However, after the very first use the non-stick coating has begun to peel off at the edges of the pan. I will probably get another two-dozen or so uses out of it before it has to be recycled. Will shell out for a more expensive grill next time.
