Le Creuset Enameled Cast-Iron Skinny Grills

It says this is a 2 burner grill pan but that is so wrong. It does not cover 2 burners it sits in the middle of each burner causing the handles to be right ove both burners. Very dissapointing, I love the le creuset normally and was really looking forward to having a grill pan made by them. Unfortuanatelly due to the shape it will not work for just one burner either. Hopefully they will come out with an updated one, until then my search for a good 2 burner grill pan continues.

We love this product. If you are like us and don't want a thousand single-use products in your home, you may really like this grill. We use it in the winter to grill steaks and get those beautiful lines. We use it to grill veggies. (My favorite: asparagus with some olive oil. Then sprinkle with sea salt and garlic powder). But our most recent use, paninis!!! I made a cheese and ham sandwich on italian pugliese bread or chiabatta, sprayed with a little grapeseed oil and put it down on the grill, put a cast iron pan on top of it as a press, then flipped it over and did the same. Our paninis looked beautiful and tasted out of this world!

Update in Nov 09. It isn't always easy to keep clean. Still love it.

While some don't like the size of this grill pan, I find it easy to work with. Just position the middle of the grill pan over the burner and heat slowly for even temperature throughout. The fact that 3 other burners are free while I grill meat on this grill is helpful in cooking other dishes for the meal. The patina does take a while to build but now I use very little (if any) grease to make it nonstick. I found that cleaning works best with a quick soak after the grill cools. Just some dish soap and enough water to soak the grill for 20 min or so was enough for easy cleanup with a plastic brush. Before the patina develops, there is a bit more careful cleanup but this diminishes over time. I've enjoyed this grill for over a year and it is a staple part of my kitchen.

I just purchased a glass top stove and bought this because of the protective bottom. However, after using it several times, I would choose a different grill because of the following reasons:

#1 The spatter mess there is virutally no way to prevent splatter when using this pan creating an unneccessary amount of post-cooking clean-up.

#2 There is no option of purchasing a lid

#3 The pan itself has an odd rectangular shape that does not fit on one burner or two for that matter. Thus, somewhere while cooking you have a cool spot.

Great idea, and easy to store for those of us with limited space. But if you're an amateur griller like me, it's too easy to push the grill pan off the burner while you're trying to flip food, especially if the food sticks. The handles are so close to the flame that it's hot on your fingers, and you have to hold the handles with the ends of your fingers with a potholder, so it's hard to get a good grip. I'm returning mine in favor of one with a nice big honkin' handle to hold it really well, at least until I'm better at grilling. Great idea though.

I received this item and was amazed at how cheaply it was constructed. Several of the pieces had splintering wood handles. The tongs looked (and felt) like the wood had actually broken in half and had been glued back together. If I had used the set, I would have suffered from large splinters. I had this set in my possession for 15 mins before I got the return information. And it looks like I will have to pay for the return shipping to get a refund at all. Trust me, spend more money on a quality product. This experience has really reinforced the saying that "You get what you pay for"!

Don't waste your money on this! And, I would be cautious of buying anything from this shipper (Furniture Creations) if this is representative of their products!!

I've had mine for about a year and it's holding up just fine. For the first few months it was very slick and I hardy had to use any oil. Later I noticed I had to use more oil. It's not as good as a good Teflon pan, but I think it's an OK trade off for not having to worry about potential toxin issues. I'd expect better non stick at $48 though.

It can be a bit of a bear to clean up afterward I suggest adding some soapy water as soon as you are done cooking. GrillPro Premium Quality Grill Cover

Nice cover for the first year, but after sitting out for a Winter the plastic cracked, split and left the inside insulation showing. Certainly not a "premium" product except for the cost. Looks just like the less expensive covers now. Sure seemed high quality when it came out of the wrapper. Very disappointing.

I've had this grill cover for over a year now and it still rocks. It sits outside year round (east coast) under a cover and shows no signs of weather wear. It fits the grill perfectly.

I purchased a new BBQ and this cover, paying more for the premium cover knowing that we occasionally get snow and I wanted to protect my new BBQ as well as possible. Grate Chef 501-1100 Steaming Grill Brush

I was very skeptical about this product but thought I'd give it a try because we use our grill very frequently and it gets very dirty. I added 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice to the water reservoir before adding the water. To test it, I tried cleaning a section with the Grate Chef without pressing the water button (i.e., like a regular wire-bristled grill brush) and then tried the rest using the button to add water as I cleaned. The difference was pretty amazing. It cleaned the grill beautifully in no time.

I suppose you could try using a damp rag and a regular brush but that would be very messy. The bristles seem to be of good quality and I expect them to last awhile.

As my grill heated, I filled the reservoir with water and lemon juice. However, when I tried to clean the grill little or no water came through the grill brush. The brush is quite sturdy, so the grill was a little cleaner after using the brush even though no steam appeared on the heated grill. I am very disappointed in this product.

I ordered this product from Amazon, got in in the mail a week later. The first time I used it, the bristles started falling out and nothing would spray out of it. Went straight to the trash. That was a quick waste of $15.

It sometimes leaks slightly if totally filled, but can be easily filled from a squirt bottle (4 oz suggested). or a narrow stream from a kitchen faucet. What a disappointment this was. I know it's not a real "steam" brush but I thought it would work better over the Grill Daddy so I bought it over that. Before I got to use it on the grill the loop hole broke off, then I tried to tie the "leather" strap that came with it around the handle so I can still hook it on the grill, that broke in pieces with every little pull I put on it. The brush does not hold much water in the handle and I've easily used all of it before the grill was clean. When it's fullm the water squirts out nicely for a few pumps but then it just trickles out. This is a regrettable purchase and I will move on to the Grill Daddy. My brother in-law has Grill Daddy one it seem to work fine for him.

I bought this hose because I wanted to maximize the safety, usefulness and economy of the propane Portable Buddy heater by Mr Heater. You can't go wrong buying this hose!

1. It allows the use of a larger LP tank (I have a 20 lb cylinder). I am certain the savings from buying LP fuel in bulk will pay for the hose.

2. You can locate the bulk tank a good distance away from the lit heater. I use the heater primarily in my garage, and with the hose I can put the heater up on a shelf or on the workbench, off the floor, and still have the bulk tank in a convenient and safe spot.

3. The hose can be used with any propane appliance that uses disposable propane cylinders.

Here's an essential safety tip when using this hose: be sure to shut/close the valve on the bulk tank BEFORE you remove the hose from the tank. It's possible to remove the hose end from the bulk tank without closing the tank valve and you will quickly find out that liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is another name for stinky, oily mess when it comes squirting out of the valve as I've done.

I bought two of these hoses to attach to two 20lb propane tanks. Attaching to 20lb propane tanks is a huge savings over using the individual 1 quart propane cyclinders. Hoses work very well. The only thing to remember when attaching the hose to 20lb propane tanks is that the couplings are left hand threaded (i.e. you must turn to the left to tighten).

By using the larger (20lb or bigger) tanks you have many more hours of operation without having to change the disposable tanks. I bought this extended hose to keep the radiant heater hanging on the ceiling in my garage while allowing the tank to be a good distance away. While the POL style fitting worked fine for the 20Lb propane tank I have but the other end does NOT fit in the MH40LP gas inlet. It would've been nice to know what parts I needed before hand, now I will have to go to homedepot and do research on the parts I need or having to once again order off the internet and wait...

This is the hose you need to hook up your Buddy heater to a larger (20 lbs) propane tank.

This hose is all you need. You don't need anything else. You don't need a regulator. However, adding a fuel filter wouldn't be a bad idea.

Both ends of this hose are suggested to be hand-tightened. Fine. However, I couldn't get mine to pass gas. The fitting going into the heater needed another 1/8" of turn at which point the gas flowed freely. Apparently the fitting is quite sensitive. This required a wrench as I had tightened it as much as possible, by hand. You may, or may not, need to do this.

The hose itself is of good quality, and so are the brass fittings. Nevertheless, the hose needs protection from abrasion and assorted abuse. As a reminder, recall that the fitting going into the propane tank must be turned counter-clock-wise to tighten, as opposed to normal threading which is turned clock-wise to tighten. Finally, remember to turn off the gas at the propane tank, and letting the heater burn off the gas in the line, so as not to turn the Plasticizer in the hose into gunk, which would clog up your heater.

(There is another hose, without the Plasticizer being sold by Mr Heater, but of course, having no Plasticizer, that hose will be stiff as heck.)
