This patio cover is of great quality. It fits our square table perfectly. The material is thick and I am sure will last for many years.

This cover is very well made. So far it has repelled rain and has stayed in place on windy days. I purchased this cover knowing it would be a bit large because I need it to cover a bar height table and four chairs. It does drape low to cover the chair legs. It has ties at the corners that I have not needed to use yet. The cover is light weight enough for me to handle by myself. It has vents on the sides to allow air flow. I anticipate this cover to last many years.

Ironically, I purchased this PVC free cover to keep our PVC outdoor set clean. Our patio set is not square, closer to round, but with the four rolling chairs it makes a basic square so figured this might work. Because our table is not square, the cover is not as pretty as in the add (it droops some in the corners), however it works great. We have had it about a month and it does just what it is supposed to do protect my furniture from the hot Louisiana Sun. The color is perfect too, as it is neutral, and even if it fades will not show much.

It was difficult to find a quality square cover. This cover is well made and has provided over a year of great protection to my outdoor patio set. It cleans real easy with a scrub brush using soap and water and it is easy to fold and store as well. This is a nice heavy canvass cover and I would highly recommend this product.

Lodge Logic LGPR3 Pre-Seasoned Round Cast-Iron Grill Press

This is something that had been on my wish list for a while. I had not used one before but I liked the concept. Finally got one for my birthday a couple of years ago, and this has grown into one of my favorite tools. For bacon, nothing is better. I cook up 5 pounds at a time and freeze in 4-slice packs, and this little beauty makes the cooking process easy. Nice flat pieces that are great for that after-work BLT. Works great for panini and is definitely cheaper and easier to use than a specialized machine that does the same job for 5 times the price.

This is a real low-tech old school way of cooking that proves over and over again why its still so popular.

I have one of these and may end up with another. After checking a previous review, someone obviously doesn't understand function as opposed to just looking good. The only thing he rated highly was a cookbook...

I only wish this came in a size that would properly fit a 12" frying pan for when I'm cooking breakfast for a crowd.

When you grow up with flat bacon, nothing else is good enough. So I made the plunge and bought this press for the sole purpose of cooking flat bacon in my cast-iron cookware. That makes this an expensive uni-tasker for me (which, along with the screws, is why I only gave it 4 stars), but I still think it was a good purchase.

The construction of the press seems high-quality. It is indeed heavy, but I have no concerns about the handle coming off or anything like that. You do need to assemble it, requiring a flathead screwdriver and an adjustable wrench or pliers, but it isn't difficult. The screwheads sit in an indentation on the bottom of the press and are exposed to the food/cooking surface. The hygiene implications of that might be a problem for some, but those people would probably not like cast-iron anyway. However, the screw indentations are deep enough so that the screws aren't capable of scratching the cooking surface. Cleanup means wiping with some warm water and using a stiff bristle brush if necessary. Dry off and coat with a thin layer of oil.

Use is quite simple. I can't imagine using the press on steaks or burgers since that would press all the juice (not necessarily fat) out of them and make them dry, but it's perfect for bacon. With extened use the wire handle will get warm, but never necessitated the use of mitts or gloves. One thing I noticed while using the press is that you will want to use a pan at least somewhat larger than the press. When I used the press with my cast-iron pan with a 7" bottom, the fat from the bacon had nowhere to go and would end up rising up and over the sides of the press, pooling on top of it.

Overall, it's a well constructed press with the only real downside being the exposed screws on the bottom. The handle stays cool and my bacon stays flat. A bit of a luxury, but worth it for me. Also, if you are going to use this for bacon, do yourself a favor and save the bacon grease to cook with or to season other cast iron vessels with later.

The press functions well enough, but as other reviews have mentioned the handle is shotty. It's held on with bolts which get gunked-up with grease and crud. I have to disassemble the handle (with tools) to clean the press thoroughly. The coiled handle doesn't stay cool enough to touch anyway, so why not use a one-piece design like the Lodge panini press? One good bonus this press offers is I can use it as a lid for the Lodge 6.5" skillet, which doesn't have an available lid.

The chopping board looks good with the stripped design, is the right size, is low priced and is light-weight.

However, it got a little discolored after chopping colored peppers and tomatoes.

In my family of budding teen chefs, this cutting board/serving tray has gotten raves. The kids requested a bamboo cutting board after hearing their praises sung on food network. After looking at all the alternatives, I chose this one because it was decorative and a good usable size. The bamboo makes this a durable cutting board that has held up much better than others we've had. The light and dark pattern made by caramelizing the bamboo to make the darker sections is just beautiful. This makes a great display as serving tray. It has held up well to hard use by three teenage boys and was very economical. I highly recommend it.

It is very easy to use and to clean up afterward. I find that for the most part, I set the heat on the highest degree level. One can grille anything desired on it and it comes out beautiful and delicious. Easy to slide the grills out for cleanup right under the sink facet Best indoor grille I have tried and I do not care for grilling out-of-doors.

I got a great deal from Amazon and it was listed as used but one would never have known it.

I used the grill the day I received it, in perfect condition and very well packed! The grill heats up very fast, and it grilled my food to perfection, including grill marks... Cleanup is a breeze, just wiped with a sponge. I highly recommend this product! Word of caution: Be careful moving the grill right after you turn it off...the outside (sides) gets VERY hot!

Purchased this grill through a special on HSN and although it arrived in a damaged set of boxes, I decided to try it out and I had experiences similar to others that are cause for my minimal rating.

First the Pro's

Now the Negatives.

*Although Temp reaches above 500 F it was only on one side of the grill and after putting food on it, it cooled down (way down) and never regained its searing level

Very Very Uneven heating,, one side of the grill was hotter than another and made it useless for creating strong grill markings on the proteins.

Even though you turn the knobs on each side of the grill to off, they both remain on and continue heating.

Surface temperatures were taken with an infrared thermometer and internal protein temps with a thermoworks probe and thus uneven heating was easily demonstrated.

Poor Quality Control/Design with yet another T-Fal product. (My 1st large Emeril Fryer also would not maintain its temperature and was returned for a refund) Surely T-Fal manufacturing should be able to tell that the grill has the above problems.

Overall, this grill is one of the worst I have yet used and I far more highly recommend the Wolfgang Puck Grill/Griddle as its ability to maintain temperature across the surface allows for superb hotcakes and fried eggs breakfast preps.

King Kooker 14102 Stainless Steel Spoon

I use spoon during the boil of home brewing, and it serves it's purpose perfectly.

The handle is long enough to get deep into a 20 quart pot, and it doesn't get hot nearly quick enough to burn you.

I went with stainless over a wooden spoon for increased durability and easier cleaning, and I am glad that I did.

A spoon is a spoon. This is a good stainless steel spoon and long enough to reach into my 20qt. brew pot. I would have given this 4 stars, but I just saw a similar spoon at my local hardware/surplus store and they were only asking about $4.

Bought this spoon to use in homebrewing as I liked the length and pricing. Left it in a bucket of starsan for sanitizing after using and the shiny spoon coating that was submerged was removed.

Must be a zinc coating. Ran the spoon through the dishwasher and the metallic smell was removed but the "stain" was still there. Hopefully this will not affect future brews (if I continue to use it)

Lefse Grill, Heritage

I've used my griddle for over 20 yrs for lefse, bacon, swedish pancakes and whatever else I wanted to make. Its just starting to go and I put a new one on my wish list for this christmas. I LOVE it and would never buy a rectangular griddle again. Its amazing how much you can fit on a round griddle.

I've been using the same Bethany round aluminum griddle (not non-stick) since 1974. I've replaced the temperature control twice, and it's been well worth it. I use the griddle for fried aggs, bacon, omelettes, pancakes, Wiener schnitzel, quesadillas, and more. It's well-seasoned and I rarely have sticking problems. 37 years sort of speaks for itself.

We have owned this same model for several years and would highly recommend this product to anyone. We did eventually have to replace the temperature/power probe but has stood up very well considering its higher temperature surface and cooking lefse for 2 or 3 hours at a go. It gets regular use for pancakes and grilled cheeze sandwiches and does a great job of both. This is why we purchased two additional grills for Christmas presents for family members as they have always coveted our grill.

I have owned a silverstone grill for years and love it, so much so that I ordered one for a gift recently. It is definitely useful for making more than just lefse! One word of caution: make sure that the specifications/description matches what you want, not just going by the picture. The Amazon site was confusing in that it actually had 3 pictures of the Bethany grills, but Bethany only makes 2 grills. When the grill arrived, we realized that we had ordered the wrong one. We had wanted the non-stick version, but had actually accidently ordered the aluminum "satin" one instead. (My attempt at making lefse on a Bethany aluminum grill resulted in my lefse sticking to the grill, a problem I have never had with my silverstone non-stick finish.) Customer service was very helpful, however, and the "wrong" grill was picked up and replaced with the correct one, all free of charge.

I have used my grill for about 12 years and it is the most used cooking tool in our kitchen. I use it for many foods, both Scandinavian and Amercian. I just prepared our breakfast of pancakes and eggs on the grill. We often warm tortillas on the grill did so this week. I set it at about 450 F and the tortillas heat quickly. I have found that the dome cover is very useful in reducing heat loss. I was on the website today, because I am purchasing a grill for a Norwegian friend.

Porcelain Coated Steel Wire Cooking Grid

The second time I have reconstructed this 8 year old Costco grill. Fortunate it is stainless and therefore somewhat timeless

My grill is an old Charbroil Professional all stainless model. Like eight to ten years old. The greats on mine were literally rusting through and flakes of rust would stick to my food (if I was not careful about placement). I debated getting a new grill, but after looking at the quality of new grills and the cost of a similar model, I opted to do some repairing/replacing.

I cleaned everything out according to the manual and replaced the rusted grates with these new ones and it's like I have a new grill. I managed to snag a set of refurbed ones (I am guessing they were a return as there are no blemishes or signs of use) for less then fifty dollars.
