Beautiful cutting board, cleans off very easily. I gave this as a gift. I would def. recommend this cutting board.

the board cracked/split in three after a while. I'm not sure why it happended but, I had to throw it out or risk getting splinters in my food.

The chopping board looks good with the stripped design, is the right size, is low priced and is light-weight.

However, it got a little discolored after chopping colored peppers and tomatoes.

I would say it works well if you do not have a lot of cutting and chopping to do.

In my family of budding teen chefs, this cutting board/serving tray has gotten raves. The kids requested a bamboo cutting board after hearing their praises sung on food network. After looking at all the alternatives, I chose this one because it was decorative and a good usable size. The bamboo makes this a durable cutting board that has held up much better than others we've had. The light and dark pattern made by caramelizing the bamboo to make the darker sections is just beautiful. This makes a great display as serving tray. It has held up well to hard use by three teenage boys and was very economical. I highly recommend it.
