Outset QN70 Round Copper Nonstick Grill Wok

Outset QN70 Round Copper Nonstick Grill WokAdvertized as Copper but is is only Copper colored. I received mine and it has a dent in side of it and it has stains on bottom! Looks like it has been USED.

The return policy says I have to pay for everthing so i will just not ever buy anything from this seller again! If there was something less than 1 star that,s what I would give this company.

"nonstick copper color silicone coating over carbon steel" --from another website

It's made of carbon steel, not even stainless steel, and certainly not copper.

The waffle grill plates are awesome! My kids think I took the extra time to cut out the heart shapes just for them. It is big enough to feed the kids at the same time so no one feels like they are in competition for the first waffle and they can see the waffles are made with love. I also love the fact the plates are removable and easy to clean.

George Foreman The Next Grilleration Grill, Red

George Foreman The Next Grilleration Grill, RedI bought this George Foreman grill because I live in an apartment building and wanted something small and convenience that don't smoke alot to set of my fire alarm. This grill did not disappoint,it met all my expectation, and beyond. I find myself eating very healthy with this grill. I made turkey burger, chicken burger, vege burger, grill cheese, grill veges, grill chicken breast, grill shrimp, salmon, shish kabob and many more. Since I started grilling I lost about 15 pounds with out even thinking.

The grill is a nice size and to heavy. You can make about 5 burgers at a time . It has removeable plate which makes it very easy to clean, you just take a sponge and wipe the grill of. The grill does come with a timer for you to time your food and how many minutes each food should grill for. It also comes with a booklet with some recipes, about the grill and timing. I recommend this grill because it makes moist burgers, tender chicken breast and does what it supposed to do which is grill my food with ease.

This works great so far.... We have already used this a few times. Wonder if it will last as long as the original one we had.

I'm a huge fan the trays are removable in this option. The original was such a hassle picking up the whole thing to the other side of the kitchen to clean...

The plates are easy to remove and put back in place after cleaning.

I will post again if I experience any issues....

My Husband and I live in an apartment complex and we can not have a grill for safety reasons. We have been debating over a George Foreman grill. We found the one we wanted , looked on amazon and got it. I literally got it 2 days after i ordered it and its the best purchase i ever made. I cooked chicken on it and it took literally 5-7 mins to do 9 pieces of chicken! The plates come off for easy cleaning! This is a GREAT product that I recommend to everyone.

I have used this grill so much! I bought it because of the removable plates which my original George Foreman did not have. I cook chicken, pork chops grilled cheese etc. Now this one truly is easy to clean! I can take the plates off and put them in the sink to clean. I don't see any need to put them in the dishwasher because I probably will be using it again before the dishwasher gets done. For the price, this grill fits all of my wants, and then some.

P.S. I love the red color!

If You Care Coffee Filter 8 Inch Basket

If You Care Coffee Filter Baskets 100-countGenerally, there's not too terribly much you can say about a coffee filter. These are nice, but could be better. The only reason I say that is because I compare them to the size of the Bunn basket filters. It's a trade-off. I like these because they're unbleached, but I wish the sides were just a little bit taller.

Lodge Logic Pre-Seasoned Barbecue Grill/Grate

Lodge Logic Pre-Seasoned Barbecue Grill/GrateFirst, the grill is as the image uploaded by Steven. Second, I disagree with the reviewer from Jupiter that "gas grills are a waste of money".

I have a 7-year old bottom of the chain gas grill, one with the 17-inch dual burners and a porcelain coated grill. It burned foods quite often and in the past two years I had been contemplating many newer versions with cast iron grate but they were all too big for my need. Holding down my tears, I forked out half the price of a similar new grill for a new heat plate and burner to get by, then I found this grate and could not be happier. Well, actually I could if they make it larger, say about 14x20 which still fits all standard grills while giving a lot more cooking surface. I withheld one star for this.

For cooking, the uneven flames produced by the cheap grill are now intercepted by the cast iron grate and spread out evenly. You can read elsewhere for what to be liked (sears, brown, ...) or disliked (maintenance, weight,...) about cast iron and decide for yourself, but the fact that it turns botchy flames into even heat alone is worth a try.

I don't think we are going to get a new grill any time soon.

I got tired of replacing warped grill plates, the accessory grills for cooking shrimp, scallops, and small vegies. The Lodge cast iron grill has not warped after several grillings at very high heat. And clean up is as easy as cleaning the main grill.

Buy Lodge Logic Pre-Seasoned Barbecue Grill/Grate Now

Bought a first Lodge grill to see overall quality and suitability for wood fired grilling. Looked good. Bought a second one, have both side-by-side on a custom made fixture over our outdoor fire pit. The grill has a raised edge around three of four sides, so you can put two side by side along their open sides. Cooked on them first time this weekend. Worked great, recommend the product.

First one arrived broken due to poor packaging but the second one we received is great. It's typical Lodge quality (very good). It may not be clear from the picture, but it doesn't have long holes in it, it has regular grill lines that span the narrowest width. There are molded handles on both ends that curve up. One side has a lip that angles up and on the opposite side it angles down. It has a base support along the bottom edge so that it will sit flat (even with the lower lip on the opposite side). I have used this under our broiler as another reviewer suggested and it works great. However, it was probably designed to be used with a camp stove.

It leaves really nice photo-shoot-style grill marks on the steak. Much nicer heat distribution than the wire grill on the Weber. Fits perfectly.

GrillPro 31845 Heavy-Duty Vertical Propane Smoker

GrillPro 31845 Heavy-Duty Vertical Propane SmokerWe got this and spent about 1 hr assembling it.

The first problem was that it was mising about 3 screws and washers.

I had read some reviews where they complained that in a short time one of the hngles popped off.

After our assembly, we took it out for it's first seasoning run.

Guess what. One of the hinges popped off.

So we took it back and got a refund.

BUt what a waste of time.

We just received our model in the mail, and it is not as big as it says. We bought the larger model for larger turkeys, it said 22x25..it's more like 16x14! We may as well have bought the one for $100 less. We are keeping it because we need it for smoking the Thanksgiving turkey, but we are very disappointed in the size for the price we paid. We will update and let you know how it works. We had the Smokey Mountain series smoker for years but the regulator just blew out, so hoping this model will at least smoke us up some good meats and fish!

We're really happy with this smoker. It was easy to assemble, maintains a constant temperature over long periods (8+ hours), and is easy to clean. Assembly was straighforward and nothing was missing. It is not, however, a huge smoker. The internal "floor area" is 14" x 12". But this is more than enough for most fowl chicken and duck. A goose would be a tight squeeze as would a big Butterball turkey. For the price, I couldn't have asked for more. A very well-built and well-designed unit.

Char Broil K6B 6-Burner 65,000 BTU Propane Gas Grill, with Sideburner

Char Broil K6B 6-Burner 65,000 BTU Propane Gas Grill, with SideburnerI saw this grill at Walmart for $295 and, even though im single and live alone, i felt the need to buy the largest grill in the store. The first thing you notice about this grill is IT IS HUGE!. You could easily have a bbq for a large group of people with this grill, so if your on a budget and like to entertain in the summer, this is definitely the way to go. After getting the box home and opening it up you will stare at the parts and say to yourself "what did i get myself in to". I think i could have had it assembled for free but i wanted it right then and there. Actually it only took me 1.5 hours to put the whole thing together, so assembly is not that bad. Considering though that i am a mechanical engineer i would hope i could put a grill together... Once assembled, i grabbed a few porkchops and threw them on. If you have never used an infrared searing burner before, YOU NEED TO. This grill easily produced the juiciest pork chops i have ever made. I have used full infrared grills before but i suggest the separate infrared burner over the full infrared grill, because you have more latitude to grill at varying temps, vs a full infrared grill which will be ridiculously hot all the time. So far i have grilled pork chops, ribs, sirloin steaks, chicken corn and even perogies on this grill and everytime my food was done perfectly and evenly. I was very impressed for a 295 dollar grill. All of the components of the grill seem to be very solid and well made, the stainless tube burners are cheap to replace which is a plus. The downfall of the grill is the ignitor. It seems very solid so i doubt it will break quickly like most cheap grills, however the negative is that it only ignites one burner in the middle so to use the searing burner you have to light one burner at a time untill you get to it. There is a rail along the back which seems to be used for directing the flame across the back so you can light any burner off of it, but it doesn't really work that way. Although this is fairly minor and is only annoying the first couple uses. The other thing is that, if this grill is like other cheap grills, it will probably rust out, even if you keep it covered. Although i expect that this grill will last at least 3 or 4 seasons, which is worth the money in my opinion, especially at this price point.

So in conclusion, if you are looking for a grill on a budget, buy this right now before its out of stock. I noticed the walmart by me already removed most of the grills from display and its the beginning of JUNE!!. It cooks great, has a searing burner, 7 burners total, can cook for a crowd and is very solidly constructed. I guarantee you will get tons of compliments when your family, friends, and neighbors lay their eyes on it. They will be jealous.

***UPDATE.... over year later...rust, rust, rust! I bought great cover yet all heat tents badly rusted, $9.99 x 5 to replace, worst is the grease tray rusted a hole straight through but I only noticed after the whole thing fell out from under the grill while I was cooking. $29.99 to replace...

Great buy and find! I had been looking to buy a Brinkmann 5 burner at Walmart for 390.00 when I looked up high on a stock shelf in the garden area and seen this 6 burner for 290.00. There was not one placed on the floor for display so I called my husband and asked him to look into the model number listed on the box. We found limited info online on them, they just were released in Jan 2010. So it was a shot in dark not even seeing the grill displayed, we called countless Walmarts) no one had any assembled on display. Also, Walmart does not even show online they sell this Char-Broil) So after debating on the cheaper bigger version we decided to buy it. When we returned to Walmart to buy this grill we were told we also get a free 50.00 gift card and free assembly. SO all and all it was 240.00 for a 6 burner with side sear. OK now its time to get it home and fire it up.

It's a MONSTER, huge cooking area. Got it up to 400-500 easy, the sear was my first time use with steaks, unbelievable!!

The Steaks had perfect sear marks and crispy in all the rights spots, they were better then going out to my fav. chop house here in Chicago. I have been cooking on it at least three times a week. I do not see any problems with this grill so far but I am sure it will only have a life of a year or two. For the money it is an awesome find. I love it!!

Buy Char Broil K6B 6-Burner 65,000 BTU Propane Gas Grill, with Sideburner Now

Of the hundreds of reviews I've read over the years for different products, this is the first one I've written. I want to warn future consumers about this product. We received this grill for our wedding gift 3 months ago. We have had nothing but problems. First the center igniter did not work, which is what lights 5 of the 6 burners. Nothing like having to light your brand new, shiny grill with a lighter. I described the problem to Charbroil, and they sent a new ignition module. I knew this wouldn't fix the problem because the other two igniters worked fine. Once I received the wrong part, I checked wiring and found the center lead was pinched between two metal panels, assembled from the factory. I was able to repair wire and use some heat shrink to protect it.

There is a large opening in the back for... ventilation? Who would design an OUTDOOR burner meant for cooking food with a gaping hole in the back of the lid!? I can't believe how much heat I'm losing. It barely heats up to 350 degrees when it's 80 degrees outside. The whole reason I wanted a new grill was so I could use it in the winter!!! Also, the heat is DEFINITELY warmer towards the back of the grill.

Most recently, while moving the grill out of garage, one of the wheels broke off and the top half came separated from lower portion. Luckily one screw held it from crashing to the ground. I work in building trades and use tools every day. There's no doubt that the screws were tight. Only four (4), 1/2" long screws hold the grill head to the cart. When I tried to re-install wheel, I found the PLASTIC socket was cracked. I checked the other wheels and found, although not as bad, all sockets were cracked and wheels were coming loose. It seems the wheels are under-sized for movement on cement considering this grill weighs over 150 lbs. and is very top heavy. We contacted Charbroil about the continued problems with their product. The best they can suggest is to return it to the original company, which is Amazon. We've been waiting for a reply for almost a month now!

What a disappointment...

Read Best Reviews of Char Broil K6B 6-Burner 65,000 BTU Propane Gas Grill, with Sideburner Here

I was unhappy at first, but very happy now. Char Broil Service Department was outstanding in working out the problems with the new grill. (Now, don't judge Char Broil grill problems with me as common, because I am one of those people that seems to always choose the slowest line at all the stores, no matter how short the line appears.)

My 12-year old Char Broil grill finally played out and I replaced it with this new Char Broil grill. When I first received the new grill and installed it, I was disappointed with the quality compared with my old one. The new one was made in China. One of the sheet metal screws #8-32x3/8" broke during step # 7 of the installation. I had to drill it out, plus drill the other holes a little larger to prevent braking or stripping any more sheet metal screws. One end of the Towel Bar female fitting had a spur in the thread and would not allow the 1/4-20x1/2" screw to go in all the way. Char Broil sent me a new one to fix this problem. When I first fired up the grill, it would heat up to 275F and drop down to 225F. I reset the regulator according to instructions and Customer Service and changed tanks without any improvements. Char Broil send a new Hose Valve Regulator Assembly via Fed-X. It was fairly easy to replace, and it took care of the problem.

I would recommend purchasing a Grill Surface Thermometer at the store for under $5.00. The Thermometer on my Char Broil grill is more of an oven thermometer and reads about 150F to 200F lower than at the grill surface. The Searing burner works out great! Now, I would recommend purchase of this Char Broil grill.

Want Char Broil K6B 6-Burner 65,000 BTU Propane Gas Grill, with Sideburner Discount?

This grill is amazing for the price! Huge huge surface area and looks awesome sitting on our new deck. The sear burner works pretty well and the side burner is good for simple pots. The key here is the massive surface area of the grill which can cook up a lot and the top wire warming rack has a lipped back side so it doesn't drop things like other grills. For the price you cannot beat the surface area. Here are a few tips from my initial uses of it and to address most people's complaints:

1. For ANY grill you buy that is stored outside, it is very simple. Probably 23 hours a day you do not use the grill (assuming you grill every day). If you do not want key components to rust TAKE THEM OUT and store them inside! This includes the heat tents and the grill grates. Like anything in life, if you take a few extra minutes of your time and take care of something, it will take care of you.

2. Same thing with the igniter. Remove the battery from the starter (these corrode with moisture and cause wear) when not in use. The igniter button unscrews in 2 seconds pull the battery out and screw the cap back on.

3. Installation is actually very straight forward instructions are very clear and it took 2 hours with my 12 year old helping me. Use a cordless drill with an extended philips bit and you will save yourself a lot of time this is the only tool I used. About 20 minutes was just unpacking and laying all the parts out.

3. The box delivered is HUGE and heavy. When you order from Amazon they require you to set a delivery time and someone must be there to sign for it. We had it delivered on our driveway and it came on top of a wooden pallet. Rather than move the box, we opened it up and just pulled all the parts out. The fire box is the heaviest and bulkiest part of the grill so you need two people to move it. No question about it you need a helping hand. There are parts inside the fire box so open the lid and take them all out before moving it.

4. Be careful using a box cutter on the various boxes while opening them. One of the parts I opened scratched the surface of a black side panel but that was carelessness on my part and not that big of a deal.

5. According to the thermometer the grill only seems to get to about 250-300 degrees which is actually not all that bad as I prefer to slow cook my food. This allows a longer threshold before cutting over from just right to overdone. I did figure out why the grill does not get that hot. If you look on the back there is a very large vent on the back side on top of the fire box as well as below where the grease catch pan is. You definitely need these vents, BUT IMO they are way too large. If you put your hand there, it is actually hotter than the grill surface itself. I will see if I can borrow a digital thermometer to do some tests to compare. I may try to screw some stainless sheet panels to reduce the size of the vent (again you still need this vent) but it would probably help retain some of the heat in the firebox. I am debating this as I prefer a slow cook on my food but will update the review if I end up doing this. I have a smoker as well so am used to slow cooking.

6. I agree with one poster who said spare Char Broil parts of expensive. My old Char Broil is 7 years old and to replace the guts would have been $245 total. No point in doing that.

7. The 68" Mr. Bar-B-Q black grill cover is a perfect fit and you can also put it on shortly after using it due to its heat resistance (note I wait until it cools anyway).

8. One thing I really like is the back side of the grill cooking grates. There is a nice tight wall so if you are moving food around it cannot slip out the back of the grill.

9. The back surface area definitely gets hotter but once you get some nice juices flowing from your food and you get drip flares on the heat tents, things heat up pretty fast. I like that effect as it can help singe the food a little (similar to the sear burner).

10. As with all grills, lightly coat the surface grates with vegetable oil before putting food on and you will have less of a mess to scrub off because of the non-stick.

11. Once done cooking turn the grill off but while the grates are still hot CLEAN THEM! It is easier to get the grease and food scraped off while still hot and not caked on rather than having to mess around with it next time you fire it up. Again, a little TLC goes a long way.

12. Note the stainless steel on the fire box (outside) had packaging marks on it (not scratches rather oily type markings). A little stainless cleaner (ie Bar Keeper's Friend) cleaned it right up.

All in all I am very impressed with this grill for the price. I did a lot of research and you won't find anything out there to compare it to. If any issues arise, I will post updates...likewise if I modify those massive heat vents and escapes around the grill, I will update as well.

Mr Bar B Q 06034X Platinum Prestige Stainless Steel Wok Topper

Mr Bar B Q 06034X Platinum Prestige Stainless Steel Wok TopperHaving purchased previously a wire mesh type from H-Depo, I lost half my food to the flames.

This nifty device keeps a good 95% of my sliced up veggies and garlic intact.

A few notes to the first time users...

Don't be afraid to let your veggies blacken somewhat. Mashmallows get totally crisp before they get their good flavor right?

Cook on a high heat and keep stiring.

Steel may blacken, but it won't hurt future cookings.

Have 2 potholders ready to pick this guy up, the metal gets very hot all around.

I learned those last few the hard way, so maybe I can save you some time.

Happy grilling!

Mr. Bar-B-Q is the perfect addition to your grill tools. The veggies turn out incredible well. Easy to turn and roast. Only word of caution is the size the a full 12 inches and is a little too big to close the top on my Weber 386002 Q-100 Portable Gas Grill. TIP: Spray with PAM before grilling to make clean up a breeze!

KitchenAid Architect Series II : KHHC2090SSS 2.0 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwav

Kitchenaid KHHC2090SSS 2.0 cu. ft. Capacity 1,200 Watts True Convection Oven Architect Series IIWe bought this oven in December 2009 and have used it for about a year.

Pros:

+ It is visually appealing and dresses up any kitchen

+ The internal lighting is very good and the over the range lighting is excellent

+ The exhaust fan rivals a jet engine -in both airflow and noise. It will move some serious air, but when it's on high normal conversation in the vicinity of the oven is difficult. Lower speeds are much better, venting well at a reasonable sound level. I have it mounted above a gas oven/range, so in the summer it easily vents the excess heat outside on the lowest fan setting

+ It is the most powerful microwave I have ever owned. This thing cooks quickly

+ It is also versatile. We bought it because of the convection capabilities, assuming it would dissipate less heat into the kitchen in the summer. That's not quite true (see cons, below), but we still like it for baking smaller items

+ It's HUGE. I haven't tried it but I could probably roast a leg of bison in the darned thing. It'll accommodate some really large dishes

Cons:

Reliability. We had one failure which required three service calls. Though the initial failure was Kitchen Aid's fault, the multiple service calls were their warranty provider's fault

Heat. When using the convection function, the oven directs excess heat via a fan through a vent in the top of the oven -right into your kitchen. I would have thought that the logical place to vent this heat would be through the external vent, but it does not. This produces a GREAT DEAL of heat. Dandy in the winter but insane in the summer. And because the heat shoots from the top of the oven it can't be captured. Thus we find it is far more economical to use the big oven in the summer, because the heat from it can be directed outside via the vent in the microwave. I consider this a nasty design flaw

Broiling/grilling. A nice feature but I've found it's just as quick and easy (and more tasty) to throw something on the grill as to get out the browning pan, the extended rack, etc., then have to clean everything. I occasionally use this feature (when snow's covering the grill) but not much

Neutral:

* The meal reheat feature takes longer than my old microwave, but that's because it is more intelligent. This microwave produces an evenly-heated meal whereas my old one produced a meal that was hot around the edges and cold in the center. It varies the power and timing to accomplish this, but unless you understand what it's doing you can easily grow impatient.

* My old microwaves (GEs, mostly) had shortcut buttons that allowed you to quickly zap something for, say, five minutes by just pressing the "5" button. One button, five minutes. I didn't realize how often I used those shortcuts. I miss 'em.

All in all we're pleased with it. I would probably buy it again, although my expectations would be tempered a bit.

I had a maytag over the range microwave that died after 4 years. I replaced it with the stainless steel kithenaid convection over the range microwave and I am definitely pleased. After reading review after review of other brands I decided to go with this model and I am glad I did. This microwave offers everything and then some. I probably won't use half of the features on here, but in the event I need them I have them! The convection is amazing, it literally cuts my cook time in half with out overcooking my food. Kitchenaid is reputable for producing quality products and I already own thier restaurant quality mixer. This microwave is highly recommended and the price I paid for it on Amazon blew the competitor's prices out of the water.

When cooking on the range the display goes off of the microhood, which renders it non functional. I was told by the repair company that KithenAid sends out that since it will work when not cooking on the range top it is fully fuctioning. However if I want to use my range then the Microwave will not work. KitchenAid has terrible customer service. The warranty clearly states the Solid State touch control system parts are covered 2nd through 5th year. I would not recommend this to anyone!

We purchased the microwave directly from kitchenaid. The microwave worked a total of 5 minutes. Kitchenaid sent a subcontractor technician that said he can't look at the microwave because it is a built in and it requires two technicians to take it out. Now we have to wait two weeks for the two technicians (first availability) to come and look at a new product that doesn't work. Kitchenaid used to be high quality product. Unfortunately that is no longer the case.

Want KitchenAid Architect Series II : KHHC2090SSS 2.0 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwav Discount?

We've purchased all Kitchen aide for new house based off of some consumer review (that I'll never use again). However, not one of our KA purchases microwave, the range, dishwasher or fridge lasted before there was an issue. Most of the cases, the problem was electrical. For example, we try to turn on the stove top burner on our range and we have to keep pushing in the knobs until one turns on. Our over the range microwave, ya it looks good but, it shorts out every time we boil any water under it. WILL NEVER BY KITCHEN AIDE AGAIN!!!!

King Kooker 14102 Stainless Steel Spoon

King Kooker 14102 Stainless Steel SpoonI use spoon during the boil of home brewing, and it serves it's purpose perfectly.

The handle is long enough to get deep into a 20 quart pot, and it doesn't get hot nearly quick enough to burn you.

I went with stainless over a wooden spoon for increased durability and easier cleaning, and I am glad that I did.

A spoon is a spoon. This is a good stainless steel spoon and long enough to reach into my 20qt. brew pot. I would have given this 4 stars, but I just saw a similar spoon at my local hardware/surplus store and they were only asking about $4.

Bought this spoon to use in homebrewing as I liked the length and pricing. Left it in a bucket of starsan for sanitizing after using and the shiny spoon coating that was submerged was removed.

Must be a zinc coating. Ran the spoon through the dishwasher and the metallic smell was removed but the "stain" was still there. Hopefully this will not affect future brews (if I continue to use it)

George Foreman GR10B 36 Square Inch Nonstick Countertop Grill, Black

George Foreman GR10B 36 Square Inch Nonstick Countertop Grill, BlackWhat did we do before George came along??

This was a replacement grill for Mom.... she burned up the cord on the old one (totally her fault) or that one would still be going! This one is VERY SMALL. Two boneless pork chops, two hamburgers if they are small, four slices of bacon, a few dogs, or maybe two pieces of fish. My hubby and I find this too small for us but perfect for one. It is good and hot unlike some of the in-between sizes that never quite heated up enough.

For one person or a dorm room (or if allowed) it's great!

Our favorite tip after taking your food off and UNPLUGGING soak a paper towel with water and place it inside the grill. When you finish eating, add a bit more water and clean up should be a breeze.

Inexpensive, small, portable for traveling to parties (along with my

mini frydaddy deep fryer), intended for one big hamburger or steak or

2-3 chicken breasts. Heats up fast, 1 minute. Easy clean up (use

plastic spatulas, metal will scratch teflon).

When I ordered, I assumed this was a standard size and did not know

it was mini version look at the dimensions but I'm an individual

so this is perfect for me. When I have guests over, I can grill 5+

hamburgers separately in < 30 minutes.

I've had a several variations on the small George Foreman grills. I have literally worn most of them out, and they last well when taken care of! I use them a LOT. They are great when making a meal in the summer. It doesn't noticably heat the room like the broiler in the oven and I think it uses much less power all year round. They are just the right size for one or two people.

I cooked steak, lamb, pork, chicken, salmon, tuna, cod, haddock, bluefish, trout, and a bunch of stuff that just isn't coming immediately to mind. It was all great. The biggest danger is over-cooking because it's so fast and cooks from both sides at once.

When cooking for one and there is space behind a steak or pork chop where I put sliced veggies like bell pepper and onions to cook with the steak. Behind the steak is a steamy spot on the grill and these veggies cook to perfection.

The tilted design is great to get rid of grease and the hot plates nicely sear the surface to seal in juices and flavor.

With fish I like to use a very light coating of Mayo which seems to help make pink and white fish even more delectibly moist and tasty. Even cooking a whole trout is great, albeit I needed to slice it in two at the ribs so it all fit at once. About 6 minutes between the plates and done to yummy perfection.

With steak and meats the grill works great with rubs and spices. I really like the paul prudome "magic" line of spices. Yum!

If you freeze steaks, a 6 oz 3/4" thick steak frozen solid and dropped on the hot places will be done to medium in just about 10 minutes, in my experience A fridge cold steak of the same size/thickness is done to medium in about 5 mintues. Timing is just about second nature now.

The non-stick surface isn't perfect, though pretty good. Be careful with forks/knives and use a plastic spatula to remove fish as it has more tendency to stick than anythig else.

Cleanup is oh so easy. While one must not put their little GF in the dishwasher or immerse it (I wish the plates were removable!) it's still pretty easy to clean.

First, just after the food comes off I give it a quick hot wipe with a paper towel to get the bulk off. Just takes a second to do this. After the meal I finish the clean-up by hanging the front of the GF over the sink and using a soapy wet sponge. I throroughly wash the plates and clean the catch tray. I then use the clean catch tray to rinse the plates of soap, then drain it and both air dry. Water all flows into the sink and it's really clean. It all takes a minute or two.

This is a great tool. If it wasn't so great why would I keep buying them? :-) I even have a spare on the shelf in case my current 4 year old one fails. I love my GF and it's saved so much of my time while giving me great food to enjoy.

Update March 2013:

I've used this little GF a lot over the last 3 years. Maybe 5 days a week on average. It's held up great for such heavy use, but it's time to get another. The non-stick is starting to wear off. The one I have now doesn't owe me a thing! A lot of good eating came off those grilling plates. Still perfect for one or two people. Still cleans up pretty easy but it's time for another. I just hope they keep making them.

Update May 2013:

This model of the GF Champ was purchased for a friend. My own 5 year old model reached its end-of-life and I got a new GF champ. My current one has been really great.

The GF champ models are all pretty much identical aside from the different plastic shells. The new one reminds me that each does have some minor variations the new one takes about 30s longer to get a steak to my idea of perfection. I see the same sort of variations with Microwave ovens.

I've given GF champs as gifts to many friends and family members. I have probably purchased at least one of every model made and cooked on most of them. A wonderful, predictable and consistent experience. Convenience, quick cleanup and the tasty food keep me loving the GF champ.

I had the old version of this grill (the white one) that came out when they first released this product. It was great. I used it for around 10 years, and finally had to toss it as the Teflon started to chip, but I got 10 years of use out of it so I was pleased.

I was happy to see this model, which looked exactly the same as the one I had and loved for 10 years.

I should add that I use my Foreman grill every day, sometimes multiple times a day. I clean it after each use. I'm pretty meticulous about that stuff.

Alright, so I get this new one and it works well. Cooks my chicken and steak just the way I like, and the Teflon surface appears to clean easily. It literally takes one or two swipes with a wet paper towel and everything comes off. Perfect.

Exactly 15 days later (I still have the receipt), I'm cooking a chicken breast and it smells like something is burning. I go into the kitchen, lift up the top of the Foreman grill, and the entire top of my chicken breast is black. It looked like a shingle from the roof of a house. The rest of the chicken was still raw, however. So I take a knife and cut off the top 1/8" of the chicken (the burnt part) and throw it away and let the chicken breast cook some more.

Two minutes later, the same thing happens. The top is burnt to a crisp, but the bottom is just fine.

Repeat this a few more times until the chicken breast is done cooking.

When I go to clean the grill this time, I notice that while the bottom still cleans easily, the top part is leaving Teflon bits on the wet paper towel.

If this were to happen after 10 years, like it did with the first Foreman Grill, that would be acceptable.

But when it happens after 15 days, it is unacceptable. The product is unusable now. I'm not sure if this is planned obsolescence or quality fade; the Foreman grill used to be a fantastic product, but either way now I can no longer recommend it.

Read the other reviews here. My situation seems to be pretty common. Most of the reviews that say "omg I love it it works so well" are from people who just got it and it hasn't failed yet.

Zero stars. Avoid, or do not buy without a great return policy, because after you use and clean it it about 20 times, you will need to return it.

This was my third Foreman Grill, the 2nd of this model. My first one worked beautifully and lasted along time. Then I guess they cut back on the coating to get more profit. After less than 10 cookings the non stick surface was non-effective and cleaning it became a major chore and as noted in other reviews the top cooked faster and there were hot-spots so that it cooked irregularly. The center would be burnt with the edges still being somewhat undercooked. I went looking for a replacement grill and compared the cooking surface to the others in the store. Others were smooth and glossy while the Foremans were gritty, rough and pitted. Like an emery board. Definetly going to look at a new brand.
