However, it didn't resolve an odor issue at the time due to the poor design of the microwave itself. There are 2 airflow passages in the top of the microwave. Only one of the passages is setup for installing a filter. The filter will not fit into the second passage, so half of the air blowing through the top vent was unfiltered and contained the odor.
Surprised at GE for the poor microwave design.Wrong part, prohibitally expensive to send back. Just swallowed the cost and said oh well. That's the way it goes sometimes.

Worked great after I figured out how to insert it behind the grill. Actually called the company that made it and the gentleman was very helpful in explaining how to install it. Would do business with them again and would recommend the filter to others.I purchased this for my Samsung microwave, and while it is not quite a fit, it does seem to help wi filtering grease, particularly when I am frying. It's a lot thicker than the filter that I had previously, and the sides are sturdy.
