Nordic Ware Grilling Essentials 10 Inch Non-stick Grill Sauté Pan
It' is returned.I found the 12-inch version of this pan at my favorite grocery store (of all places). It was down between this one and a Bialetti non-stick pan, which was about half the price. The Nordicware sold me (even though it was more costly) because it is broiler safe and almost guaranteed not to warp. I tend to cook at a moderate heat while my husband tends towards a more "on or off" type approach -the stove is either cold or on HIGH. The result has been more than one warped griddle in our five years of marriage.
But the best part is the heft and slick-as-glass surface of the pan itself. Eggs slide right out, no problem. And the handle placement, weight and thickness make the balance of the pan very easy to work with. My only quibble is that the entire handle is not covered, thus the hurried cook may find their fingers burned if not paying attention.
I love my 12-inch so much I'm buying this 10-inch, just to make sure we have our bases covered. HIGHLY recommended!

Cuisinart CSK-150 1500-Watt Nonstick Oval Electric Skillet
Best of all, clean up is a breeze! I know the instructions say you can put it in the dishwasher, but I haven't even been tempted. A little dish soap, a little water and a swish with a dishcloth, rinse and dry and the clean up is done!
I wouldn't trade it.
*Update: I have now had this skillet for about 1 year. It still cooks great and cleans as easy as it did new. non-stick finish has been very durable, and the unite heats up nicely. It is nice and large so you can cook up a large amount of food at one time. This is nice when you are cooking for several people. When it is just me and my husband, I can cook the sausage and pancakes at the same time, then I only have one cleanup!
I do at times wish the cooking surface was more level. It seems to be a little lower around the edges. I assume that is on purpose to allow grease to drain.

I have only had my Cuisinart Electric Skillet for approx. two weeks, but have used it almost every day since receiving it! I love it! Very easy to clean, nothing sticks to it. I have fried chicken twice in it, and it did a wonderful job of it. The chicken fried evenly and got very brown and crusty but no burning. I have fried pork chops in it, and it was the same, cooked perfectly. I have found it fries bacon much better and more evenly than trying to do it on my stove and so much easier to clean up because it doesn't spatter as badly as cooking in a more shallow skillet. Plus, my stove top is smooth glass and frying on it is always messy and causes the grease to burn onto it and then has to be cleaned with special glasstop cleanser, so I don't make a mess on my stove when I use the skillet. I cooked hamburgers in it yesterday and they were delicious, browned on the outside but juicy inside. The best I have cooked in a long time. I cannot praise this skillet enough! I have been searching for a 16-in. electric skillet for the past year but every one that I would find listed on Amazon (which is the same selection, or even better selection) than I would find in a local department store, and as I always read customer reviews before I buy (I feel this is the best way to find out about any product before actually buying and using it, from people who have it and have used it) they all had some bad features, either in the design or workmanship, and in the case of Rival, not good customer service. So I stayed away from every brand that I read about for the 16 in. elec. skillets. Then, just recently, I was checking out the food network website and noticed this oval shaped one by Cuisinart that they offered, and though the price was the same as on amazon, I went with amazon because of the free shipping. I was also hoping that amazon would have a few customer reviews for me to read so I could see how others either liked or disliked the skillet, but alas, there were none! I guess it is too new yet to have many customer reviews. Though it is not quite the 16 inches that I was looking for, the 15"X12" size has proven to be just as good, it easily holds a whole chicken without crowding. The one inch differenc wasn't enough to stop me from buying it. I knew Cuisinart was a very good brand, so I trusted the name, and took a chance and I am so happy that I did. It is pure joy to cook in this skillet. I haven't even put it away since I have had it, as I use it almost every day, I just keep it sitting on the end of my counter in the kitchen, where I use it. The only criticism I could offer is the shortness of the cord, but I have found this is true with every electric skillet that I have looked at, and was true with my old one that I gave my daughter when I purchased this one. It seems you can't wear electric skillets out, as I had that one for about 25 years! But back to the short cord. I think it is a safety feature so that you won't get caught in the electric cord and pull the skillet off the counter or table and cause burns to yourself or damage the skillet. And thankfully, the cord is just long enough to reach the outlet on the down-side of my counter top without having to use an extension. If I used it close to a wall with a wall socket, it would reach even better. But since I don't have a lot of counter space and the counter top range takes up so much of my space, it is more convenient for me to have it at the end of the counter top. And it is worth every penny of the hundred dollar price! I highly recommend it.Read Best Reviews of Cuisinart CSK-150 1500-Watt Nonstick Oval Electric Skillet Here
I picked this out as a gift based on all of the positive reviews. The first unit arrived and looked OK at a glance. Upon closer inspection, I found some scratches on the exterior and weird spots in the non-stick surface. When I flipped the unit over, I found all of the model information is imprinted into the metal surface; including a serial number. That serial number had been covered up with a black mark and a second serial number has been printed below in black type. I confirmed with Cuisinart customer service that this indicates that the unit has been refurbished. My order was for a NEW unit from amazon.com (not a marketplace seller). Amazon customer service quickly created a new order for another unit at no charge to me and provided me with postage to return the refurb unit. I was assured that the replacement unit would be new. A week later, the replacement arrived and it also has 2 serial numbers and even worse defects in the non-stick coating (rough spots). I am now returning for a refund. Buyer beware. Check your serial number!

During my 30 plus years of marriage, I have owned at least 5 electric skillets. When the last one broke, I decided to do some research and bought the Cuisinart 150. I was skeptical about the oval shape since all my others were rectanglar and I felt that those extra corners meant more room. However, the shape does not matter. In fact, since most foods are rounded, the oval is better. The Cuisinart 150 cooks evenly, there are no hot coil spots on my foods. It preheats quickly and cooks very quickly also. it also lies level on my counter which for some odd reason the others never did. I don't think I have ever been so happy with a kitchen appliance before. I use my skillet at least once a week, for chicken, eggplant or veal cutlets, as well as for beef stroganoff or other all-in-one-pan meals. I would give this product a perfect 10. It is worth the higher price because it is so well-built and does such a great job.Friday, June 6, 2014
Dough-Joe® Pizza and Baking Stone
I like the darker color of these stones; I don't know if perhaps that might be contributing to the amazingly even heat, but just in terms of vanity -they don't look nearly as stained and funky as the lesser stones do, and I've been putting them through a rigorous trial. There was a disclaimer in the box that little cracks might be present or develop that don't affect the performance, but so far I see none. I am sure part of their superiority is partly that these stones are easily twice the thickness of the stones you buy anywhere else--I almost laughed when I opened the box-they're like bowling ball heavy. The construction just puts anything else I've ever used to shame. The ribbed backside makes them "grip" the oven rack nicely too--especially nice when you're transferring dough or trying to remove a finished loaf and everything is blazing hot. I haven't tried them on the grill yet, but I can't wait to do it this summer as we grill a fair amount of pizza. I've always put dough directly on the grill, which really is taking chances with hot spots and split second timing (and lots of apologizing on my part to hungry guests if I fail and we resort to delivery pizza). And I've never had a stone I thought was really up to the challenge. But I think we might buy a second set of these, just for pizza-on-the-grill purposes. Good grief, at this price?? We'll make that back in like two skipped delivery pizzas from the gourmet place up the road.
In short, this was one of the best culinary purchases I believe I've ever made, and I have no reservations recommending these to anyone who wants to take their baking to the next level.First, these were shipped lightening fast accompanied by exacting communication from the company( a hurricane was coming and they apologized in advance for any tardiness). The tiles were well packed and are well made and thick. The photo on amazon is a little misleading due to the angle it was shot atthe stones are not square but rectangular which matters if one wants to make large, round pizzaswhich won't fit and one would probably do best to order 2 sets keeping in mind the size of one's oven. Using them primarily for bread in an oven this does not matter much to me and i would suppose the shape is most advantageous to those who will be using them on a grill.
My first bake was in fact a pizza, square, and the crust was absolutely perfect-evenly cooked, golden colored bottom, chewy inside. Having appropriately manufactured( scored as they should be on the bottom) pieces rather than as one big slab may lessen the chance of having shattered stones and makes them easier to store and handle. Highly recommended product which cooks beautifully with the added plus that the vendor/manufacturer seems very responsive.

First: Were Shipped very quickly, well packaged. Could not have done it better. The Product: Good Thick tiles, 4 tiles instead of one larger tile, so easier to deal with moving them in and out of the oven. These are my second set of pizza stones, the first were thin and broke into peices, these shouldn't have that problem. They say they heat up in 20 minutes. I think you are better off to give them 30 minutes. The whole trick to cooking a NY style pizza is to allow the stones to be so hot that they take the liquid in the dough and turn it to steam, which gives you all the fluff and air bubbles on your crust edge. The other thing to realize: NY Pizza crust is sourdough. Put some flour into water, cover it with a towel, leave on the counter over night. Dump half, refill with flour and water, cover with a towel over night. AFter four or five nights you have your starter. Add some of it to your dough mix, refill it with flour and water. You can then just keep it in the fridge and refresh it every two or three weeks. It will give your dough that chewy pull of an NY Pizza. Having grown up in NY, I am not fond of the local pizza, and having a nice set of stones like these allows me to create a great NY style pizza when I want. Absolutely love them!I've read all the reviews for these stones and, from my own experience, every word was true. They allow you to bake a pizza with a near-perfect, al forno-style crust in under 10 minutes. The four smaller stones (bricks/tiles actually) are lighter and easier to use than a single large stone. But I found this modularity also presented the product's one failing. Like all bricks they are first cast in molds and then fired. As a result, there are raised ridges running the length of the long edges. This means that the bricks never sit really flush. There are gaps wherever two long edges abut one another. It's no big deal with pizza or a hearty bread, but this is could be a problem when baking bread with a really soft dough, such as a ciabatta. It took me more than 2 hours of close hand work to eliminate the ridges and thus the gaps. The factory could, and I believe should, have done it as part of the manufacturing process. Then this product would truly be the perfect home baking stone.I wanted to like this and thought it sounded good (making 4 individual pizzas, etc), but the reality of it is that these are pretty small to fit a homemade pizza on. And I find them awkward to work with when I try to put them all together as one large stone. I ended up getting another large size stone (one solid piece) that rarely leaves my oven and I use it all the time. These are in a cabinet never being used.

Camp Chef Big Gas Grill
The stove is strong enough for me to stand on it! Check out the video.

I used to cook at the Nascar races and now do the Outdoor Chef segments on Gary Lewis' High Desert Outdoorsman on COTV Channel 11 Bend, OR
Keep Grilling! The Camp Chef SPG-90B has been a perfect choice for a camp stove and the BBQ box makes a good combination on top of this 3-burner stove. It is much sturdier than it looks in photos. It sets up in 2 minutes, and really IS portable despite having 3 burners. We wanted to look at one in person, but couldn't find a retailer anywhere in the area so we took a chance on buying this on the internet. Delivery was FAST! However, the photo on the internet shows a rack underneath and the description clearly says that it comes with a rack underneath. FYI It doesn't. You have to buy one separately and it's $20-$30 from other sources. We do not regret this purchase though.

After years of bad steaks while RV-ing on numerous portable grills, I tried this unit. It is very hot! burners will be much hotter than your indoor range, unless you have a Viking professional unit. The grill box blows the doors off my considerably more expensive back yard grill. Aside from the great rare steaks from this very hot grill, I've smoked fish, pork tenderloins & racks of lamb in the grill box. I did a 5# pork loin on easter with Apple wood chips (one burner on low with chips under the grill plate. Pork loin on opposite side with burner off & a foil pan with water under it.) I also purchased the griddle. It is huge restaurant quality short order breakfasts in the campground.negatives my thermometer also broke. We camp at the ocean, so i am getting some rust. Unit will need occasional touching up. The performance at this price point far outweighs these minor negatives. Back yard grills which can match this unit for performance & output cost at least 3 times as much.

I have had the Camp Chef SPG-90B 3 burner grill for almost 3 years now, and it is still going strong. Every major fair weather holiday my extended family descends on the old family homestead for a few days of fun and family on the banks of the Hiawasee river. We usually top 50 people, and cooking for that crowd can be a chore. With the CampChef its a breeze. We cook everything on this thing. In the mornings, its eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes for 50 people on the griddle. The full size griddle is a must have.
In the evenings we vary the menu from night to night, so the CampChef gets a workout. We grill, fry, boil, and even bake with this thing. My mother found out last year that the grill makes for a fairly passable camp oven, and her home made blackberry and raspberry cobblers were the delicious proof.
We have also used this thing as canning and "putting up" green beans, corn, peas, and okra. It keeps 2 pressure canners and a 16 quart stock pot at a boil with no problems.
The bottom line is: Buy this and the griddle and don't look back. If I can feed 50 people twice a day with this thing, just think what it could do for a tailgate party.I bought this grill as I had one before that totally rusted out after 3 years, but it was used a lot and we liked it. This new one came and was not near the quality as the first one, plastic nobs which if not careful when grilling will get very hot, the other grill had aluminum ones which stood further from the grill and did not get hot. The temp gauge was killed in action the first time it was used dial fell right off, now just lays there and does nothing from the bottom of the gauge. The sex screws holding the end shelf on were not all there and I will have to find a set to replace one side. I actually like this grill better than any I ever used except for the quality. If they read this review maybe I will get a new temp gauge and screws for the shelf. One more thing, the grill box on this one is not square and so does not shut evenly. I guess I should have sent it back but hate the hassle. I will fix the things wrong and use this review as my only recourse to settle hoping they go back to making them like they used to. I did review the first one with pics of the rust and it never got posted so I think maybe they post only positive ones...

30PC SS BBQ TOOL ST IN ALUM CS
It was too good to be true. The skewers have little pieces of plastic in them to secure the skewer to the handle. Upon first use, two of the three skewers are unusable after the plastic melted.

Rome Camp Ring Grill
updated in Jan 2012. Grate is holding strong. I see the price has dropped at amazon at this time making this an incredible deal. No need for the spring clips to put this grate on the weber outdoor fire place as it fits nicely on the aluminum ring.Loved this grill for the Weber Fire Pit, allows us to place a potato on top and call it a grill not outside fireplace.Good grill top just don't let be on a open flame and low, it will warp. but a good grillI purchased this grate for a backyard pit I built. It sits on a recycled oil drum which is surrounded by bricks. The first time I used it, was after the fire died down and the coals were nice and white. Even thou the coals were a good foot and a half away from the top of the drum, the grate buckled and warped. :( Now my burgers kind of slide to one section and each time I use it the grate gets even more distorted. I guess I need a iron grate...
