We use this pan all the time. It makes great grilled sandwiches, sliders, salmon and crab cakes.....everthing. Cleanup is really easy. I bought it for several friends and they all LOVE it!!
I have a stove top indoor smoker and a gas grill. These shavings work well for both. I will stick to larger wood chunks for my charcoal grill, but I don't think these are meant for that purpose. The mesquite flavor comes through nicely. It is an enormous amount of wood, so it may lose its flavor before I exhaust the supply, but even so, I think it is a bargain.

I have used the chips a couple of times since I received them. Overall I found them easy to use and have had excellent results in my smoker. I use pecan chips instead of hickory when I want a smoother less sharp flavor and they are very good on certain meats. I bought two types of these chips, cherry and hickory, to use in my Nordic Ware Oven Essentials Indoor and Outdoor Smoker. They work very well in my smoker. I used the hickory chips to smoke pork for pulled pork and to smoke chicken breasts for a chicken salad. The hickory chips give a fairly strong smoke flavor to your food. This was great for the pork, but a bit overpowering for the chicken. I tried smoking chicken breasts with just the cherry chips, which add a much milder smoke flavor than the hickory and then I used half hickory and half cherry for the chicken, and those had just the right amount of smoky flavor. I use two tablespoons of chips in my smoker for smoking, so the ten quarts of chips I purchased will last a long time. I highly recommend these chips if you have an indoor smoker.

I purchased this grate for a backyard pit I built. It sits on a recycled oil drum which is surrounded by bricks. The first time I used it, was after the fire died down and the coals were nice and white. Even thou the coals were a good foot and a half away from the top of the drum, the grate buckled and warped. :( Now my burgers kind of slide to one section and each time I use it the grate gets even more distorted. I guess I need a iron grate...
Although the description on Amazon says that the display is backlit, it is not: I ordered this item only to discover that it is not indeed backlit (confirmed by the packaging, manual and on the manufacturer's website), but also that at 11" it's considerably shorter than most thermometer forks, which will likely lead to some very hot fingers over the grill.

I enjoy using this, but I wish I would have gotten a longer handle. I didn't realize how hot my grill is it takes about 3-5 seconds for the temperature to register, and in that time my hand gets hot. Up until just recently I had been using a Sharper Image All-in-One Grill Fork which I liked very much. Unfortunately it was damaged beyond repair when it was accidentally immersed in water so I purchased a CDN DBBQ212 Digital Thermometer BBQ Fork as a replacement. Right out of the package the construction appeared to be a bit dodgy, but I was willing to give it a shot based on the reasonable price. As soon as the "on" button was depressed, my suspicions were confirmed. It didn't work, or at least, not the way it was supposed to. Several lines that make up the 3 digit characters were not working, making it almost impossible to tell the difference between the numbers 8, 3 and 0, 5, and 6, or 7 and 9. The only reason these forks exists is to give accurate cooking temperatures, and if you can't tell the difference between 185° and 135°, what's the point? Also, even though the only button is labeled "on/off" it only appears to turn the digital display on; the off function doesn't work. The temp comes up fine and seems to be accurate. It's a bit small and feels a bit cheap. It does the job though. I have seen nicer looking ones for less, but I have no Idea how well they work as far as getting temp.
These are well made and much heavier than the cheaper varieties found in the grocery store. The fact that they are heat resistant makes them more versatile as well. The only negative is that they are quite pricey.
