Works great for placing and removing artisan breads from the oven. A sprinkle of corn meal and you're all set. Because of the size have yet to find the right place to store between uses.

I actually did not purchase this for pizza. I purchased it to use when baking bread according to the method in "Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day." The peel arrived today and I tried it out this evening....worked like a charm!! And it's lightweight and looks nice too!

Other than the fact that this is made in China, it's a nice large pizza peel. We haven't used it yet, so I don't know how to hold up, but I will update my review once we have a chance to use it.

Arrived damaged. The front edge was chipped and although not really damaged the underside was not sanded. I can not say that it mentioned that this was MADE IN CHINA? The peel size is good but the handle was a little too short. Not well balanced. The wood did not look oiled or stained. Doubt that wooden dowels are used to join the pieces. They are probably just glued but maybe they all are?

Unfortunately I also ordered a Pizzacraft Pizza stone and had it gift wrapped. It is for my Cousins birthday. If he likes it great, if not I guess that will be returned too?

Rosewill R-HCO-11001 Halogen Convection Oven

Maybe another brand will do a better job, but the booklet with this is worthless. It only shows a temp chart, no better specifics and no info on how long to cook. Recipes online may work for other brands, but not so good with this one. Tried a whole thawed chicken, 375 degrees for an hour + and it came out bloody. Same with a pork roast. We know a couple of people who have the brand in the infomercials and love it. I also don't like the fact that the drippings collect in the glass bowl under the meat with no way to get to them except to take the meat out of the bowl and pour it off, then put the meat back in the bowl. I think other brands have some sort of slide out shelf for this. Pretty much a waste of money so far.

When I first got it I remember thinking "These plastic pieces don't look or feel very strong." But then I decided to give it a try, after all, my husband was very pleased with the last one we had (a different one, more expensive,the one from the infomercials) and that I broke accidentally. I read the instructions prior to using it, the instruction book looks very, very basic and more like a booklet, no pictures, no diagrams etc. After one hour of trying to cook 5 small pieces of pork meat, (about 4oz each),still raw. According to the instruction book it was supposed to take only 15-20mins to fully cook. I never heard air circulating or any fan working during cooking time. Very disappointing. It's definitively going to be returned. I guess I'll the expensive brand buy next.

Seemed like a nice inexpensive way to try out these cheaper convection ovens, so I went for it. It appears to be a rebrand of the Mr T one on TV at a fair discount. I loved using it for leftovers especially. They came out less soggy than in the microwave and more evenly cooked than in a toaster oven. When I did use it on frozen foods, I tended to microwave thaw them a bit before finishing them off in this. I guess I'm not very patient.

Still, you get what you pay for. Mine spontaneously died mid-meal about 18 months (using it a couple of times each week) after I purchased it. Both the fan and bulb stopped at the same time, so there might something simple I could replace and get it working again, but if your instincts are telling you this is a little *too* cheap, don't ignore them. If you buy it, make peace with it being potentially very temporary in advance, a good way to find out if you really want something like this or not.

Overall, I'm glad I got it. Now I know I want a convection oven and I can spend some time finding a better model.

This is my 2nd Rosewill oven...I love the way it works so well, cooking faster and crispier than my regular oven, and found it easy to use and clean...I also love the lower price for this compared to the costlier alternatives ( like Nuwave/Big Boss).

But after a meagre 6 mths of great cooking, it suddenly stopped working... no bulb operating....on close inspection, there were a few grease splatters on the halogen bulb (from chicken thighs), and that must have been enough to kill the bulb, and oven. So be warned...dont let spatters get anywhere near the sensitive and unprotected bulb...I now know this is a common problem with all these ovens.

Anyway, I missed it so much I had to buy another one while on sale at Amazon...and if lasts only 6 mths like the last...its still money well spent! So far its done great for 1 mth. But I sure wish they would fix the design flaw!

Apr 09/13.....update..this 2nd Rosewill just stopped working, just like the first..the fan blows but the bulb is dead...no obvious splatters on it...always cooked on low rack to avoid this, cleaned catefully, but didnt work obviously...so definitely a quality problem, with only 3 months light use....make sure to buy a warranty with this that includes return shipping cost coverage....

Nordic Ware Grilling Essentials 10 Inch Non-stick Grill Sauté Pan

I just got it. The bottom was flat before use and become not flat after the first use. I have a ceramic top.

It' is returned.

I found the 12-inch version of this pan at my favorite grocery store (of all places). It was down between this one and a Bialetti non-stick pan, which was about half the price. The Nordicware sold me (even though it was more costly) because it is broiler safe and almost guaranteed not to warp. I tend to cook at a moderate heat while my husband tends towards a more "on or off" type approach -the stove is either cold or on HIGH. The result has been more than one warped griddle in our five years of marriage.

But the best part is the heft and slick-as-glass surface of the pan itself. Eggs slide right out, no problem. And the handle placement, weight and thickness make the balance of the pan very easy to work with. My only quibble is that the entire handle is not covered, thus the hurried cook may find their fingers burned if not paying attention.

I love my 12-inch so much I'm buying this 10-inch, just to make sure we have our bases covered. HIGHLY recommended!

Camerons Products Chicken Beer Roaster

This beer roaster is amazing. We have a $100 rotisserie that we rarely used because it takes up a lot of counter space and it's too hard to clean. This simple device has replaced that clunky inconvenient machine. Now we're cooking a big chicken dinner every weekend.

The first time we used the Beer Roaster, we tried a bland Miller Genuine Draft beer. The chicken came out moist, but flavorless. After some trial and error, we found a perfect recipe.

We pick a beer with lots of flavor. Our current preference is a dark Sam Adams brew like Black Lager or Brown Ale. We then add in a big spoonful of honey. Make sure you rinse off the chicken and pat it dry inside and out with paper towels. We then apply a dry rub to the outside of the chicken (any good rub you pick-up at the grocery store should be fine). A 6-pound chicken cooks for about 2 hours at 375 degrees. Once it's done cooking, let it sit for about 10 minutes so the juices can settle down.

Everyone raves about the flavor. There's never any leftovers. It's so much better than those lousy pre-cooked chickens at the grocery. The Beer Roaster is the best kitchen gadget we've ever bought.

No more wrestling a hot chicken off of an equally hot beer can! The 18/10 stainless steel construction is sturdy, and the tube is just the right size which makes taking the chicken off a breeze. The beer roaster is a one piece unit with a base that provides ample support for the bird to rest on.

I filled with water after removing the item from the packaging.

I wiped the base dry with a paper towel.

Within one minute, I probably had a Tablespoon of water that had leaked onto the base plate.

I filled out online the form for a replacement and Amazon is ready to send a new one out (no charge) I also printed out a label for return shipping that Amazon created.

I have 30 days for them to receive the defective item before being charged for the second or replacement item.

I will follow up when received on the condition of the second roaster.

I have cooked beer can chicken before and yes it is moist and tasty.

I knew the size of the item, but was still shocked to see the size of it...appeared small. But could be a good thing if you were trying to cook two chickens at the same time.

The diameter of the 'can' is smaller than that of a can of soda...thus it will be easier to insert into the chicken.

Update two days later:

Received the second or replacement item in two days from Amazon.

It worked just fine until I tried to clean it. I placed a dish rag loosely into the can to clean...holding onto the square base and turning on the disk rag, I felt a snap. Part of the bottom of the can separated from the plate. Does NOT leak though. I sent it back also.

It turns out the item is made of three pieces.

The cylinder (can) is made of stainless steel.

The bottom of the can has a steel plug (not stainless...magnetic) connected somehow to the cylinder. I suspect either glued or jammed into the bottom. I DO NOT KNOW. But I see no spot welding marks.

Then the plug is spot welded to the base which also is NOT stainless steel (again magnetic material like steel).

One final note. With the chicken resting on top of the can, the top of the can is near the top of the neck. So I am not sure how much moisture and flavor stays inside the chicken.

I will stick with my Fox Run brand.

I have on order two stainless cups or tumblers that I will see how they work within the Fox Run wire cage.

Waring Pro Grill WGG500RQ Grill Griddle - Red

We're having a great time using the Waring Pro Electric Grill. So far, we've grilled steaks, pork chops, fish, mushrooms, broccoli and chicken breasts; made panini a couple of times. It's amazing how much you can cook at a time, and, of course, it's twice as fast as using a skillet because you're cooking both sides at once. Instead of 3 minutes and then turn for another 3 minutes, it's 3 minutes period!! Although I generally start with lean meats, whatever fat is there drains off into the drip catchers. No messy spills.

I kept putting it away at first, but we use it so often that there's no point. Besides, I bought the bright red one, and it's a great conversation starter: "What's that red thing on your counter?"

The plates are amazingly easy to put in and remove; they're nonstick and clean up nicely in the dishwasher (I scrape them first with the scraper that's included, as our dishwasher doesn't have a garbage disposal). They're also easy to handwash if you must.

This is our first indoor grill so I can't compare it to any other brand.

Suffice to say we are finding it to be both convenient and easy to use.

We have cooked the usual burgers and steak along with asparagus and broccoli.

Everything cooks up quickly. I love the red color too. The only real drawback

is the top lid rests on the meat and the grease splatters on the counter top. Putting a

cup towel underneath has solved this problem. Other than that, we use it several

times a week and love everything else about it. I would still recommend it to

anyone considering whether or not to purchase. Just wish I had bought it sooner!

Watch out for the unprotected sides with hot black plates. it is very easy to forget that the sides are HOT when you're rushing to finish a meal for young starving children. The elements go around the outside so the center is left out. when flipped up grease can drop off the top onto the bottom burner which will cause it to smoke the next time you use it. remember to take the top grille off first.

I missed that this model didn't have waffle plates available

Sensio 13267 Bella Cucina Nonstick Panini Grill

I bought this particular panini press due to the small size, which was important to me b/c I don't have alot of kitchen storage. It is perfect for 2 sandwiches. It has a great non-stick coating which is super easy to clean. I wipe it down with a wet paper towel. So far I have only used it on the highest heat setting and it works fast and produces perfectly crunchy sandwiches on the outside and warm, melted ingredients on the inside. It's also very attractive with its highly polished chrome exterior.

My only negative points and the only reason I did not give it 5 stars: The plastic lock (which holds the top and bottom together for easier moving/storage) is difficult to latch and does not stay put. The plastic drip tray is a bit flimsy. And so far, in my experience, the heating light does not work properly. It stays on all of the time instead of indicating "ready". But that is not really a problem for me as I can tell when its hot (only takes a few minutes).

I admit, this is my first panini maker. I read alot of reviews here on Amazon before choosing this one based soley on its size. And I seem to be the first to review this one. It was between this one and a George Foreman grill. And once I touched the GF grill in person at a store, I didn't like it. Trust me, this is a much better quality appliance and well worth the money! So overall, I would highly recommend it!

I recently bought a Bella Cucina Panini press (mine had ridges, not smooth like the one pictured). It works great. Heats up fast, cooks fast and is easy to clean. I have used it 6 or 7 times over the past 2 weeks. Turns an ordinary sandwich into something really delicious. I can fit two sandwiches on it at a time. I can stack several slices of meat and cheese (and tomatoes) to get a nice panini.

I don't normally take the time to write a review but would like to warn prospective buyers about this one. I bought mine from Macy's and returned it. I agree with the other negative comments that were written but mine actually came apart on the third use. There is a simple pin on each side that holds the upper plate. When I lifted the hot lid it swung free and I was very fortunate not to have it fall on my hand. When the item cooled we tried to replace the pin but it was defective and could not be secured. Even if this had not happened the lid has to be held open with one hand while you either put the sandwich in or attempt to remove it. I read Amazon's reviews on the Panini machines and ordered a Cuisinart from Amazon.

I bought this just because I wanted something different and Im happy that I did. Making a grilled chesse sandwich has never been easier! Greendale Home Fashions Indoor/Outdoor Accent Pillows, Set of 2

I had read the previous reviews and though, to myself: Mustard sounds like an okay color. A n ice bright mustard could work well. I was wrong. These pillows are not mustard yellow. They are actually a BROWNISH ORANGEY COLOR. Maybe a burnt orange-yellow??? Absolutely NOTHING like the picture. Really ugly. I already called Amazon and got my return label. OhAnd some of the stuffing was coming through on of the seams, so cheaply made, too. I'll be adding a pic shortly. Check the Other Images for this item.

UPDATE 10/11/12It looks as if Amazon has finally changed the image for this item. The new pic is much closer to the real color, but the actual item is darker, as you can see in the pic I posted.

I just received this pillow. It is good quality and a beautiful pillow. I am very pleased with it. I only give 4 stars because it is more of a mustard than a bright yellow as pictured... but i knew that thanks to another review and was not caught off guard when it arrived. The mustard actually was more what I needed anyway. Just wanted to confirm for others that the color is slightly darker than what is pictured

I ordered 4 outdoor pillows, plus I purchased some outdoor material from a local fabric store so I'm familiar with the feel of outdoor fabric. The pillows are a nice color, but the material does not feel like outdoor fabric to me. Most outdoor fabric is a little stiff feeling. These pillows are very soft. While they look nice, I'm concerned that they are not really water resistant as they should be. My alternative is to spray them with some outdoor fabric waterproofing spray and hope that keeps them from getting soggy in a rainstorm.

I am "half" disappointed with this purchase. I have been looking literally for months for just the right pillows for my new outdoor furniture with the right print and at the right price point. I bought the print that looks like it's almost a Greek scroll style in blue. I received them quickly, which is good. The print and color are exactly what is pictured, which is good. It's the size and construction that is disappointing. The spec say they are 17" by 17", but they are definitely not. They are 12" by 12". A big difference, so now I have to buy more, larger, pillows to fill in the gaps. AS another reviewer noted, they are only finished 3/4 of the way around, and on the 4th side it is an outside/inverted seam. I was shocked. I remember finishing pillows in this way in my Middle School home ec class. Now that I look at the picture though, I CAN see that inverted 4th seam. Look closely. I should have read the other reviews before purchasing, but it is too much hassle to return, and I really do like the pattern/color....so I'm settling.
