I really like the look of this body. I think it would be nice if you had the option of window decals. It was easy to paint and looks BA when done.Read Best Reviews of J Concepts 0225 Illusion Stampede 4x4 - Ford Raptor SVT Super Screw Body Here

I ordered this product for my son and we received a clear body. We were expecting the one that is shown in the picture we is a colored one. Other sites actually note in the description that it is a clear body. This was very misleading and I will not order from Best Service Stores again.Looking to buy a replacement body to give to my brother-in-law. Many competing ads specifically say they are clear or unpainted. Nowhere does this product say that. Not in the title, not in the description. Nowhere. I can get prepainted bodies at my LHS, but thought getting it here and having it shipped directly to my B-I-L was great! Imagine my disappointment when I got a less than enthusiastic 'thanks' for a clear piece of plastic.Camp Chef Cast Iron Conditioner
Everyone has a different tip or trick to seasoning cast iron, for many years bacon grease was the "hot product" what a mess!
Many of my cast iron finds need some TLC, a little rust or extra build it can hide the true inner beauty of the cast iron, I have some Griswold, Lodge, and Camp Chef Skillets and Dutch ovens that are super old but look better than new.
THIS stuff is great, I use a couple of different tricks for rust, like hay alfalfa and coke, but to put that nice BLACK finish, the cast iron conditioner does the trick, it lasts twice as long as regular oil and doesn't leave any lasting after taste.
Remember you still have to take care of your cast iron and heat it to dry it but this is the easy way to keep it nice and black for a lifetime of great uses.
Someone posted cheaper at walmart, funny at the time of this review walmart was $4 more and ship to store... FYIThis was a little disappointing, but what could I really expect? Seasoning takes years (or at least a lot of time and smoke in your oven). I was trying to avoid that with this coating. It works OK, as a light coating after you wash your pan. But, truly, I used to rub olive oil on my hot pan, just bring it to a smoke, turn off the heat and let it sit until I used it the next time, and I think that method worked better. I'll use up the cream, but I wouldn't order it again.

This conditioner is better than Crisco or any other shortening or oil because it won't go rancid like other oils can. If you don't use your Dutch oven or other cast iron all winter and it just sits somewhere, chances are good that it will be rancid come spring and you'll have to strip and re-season it. That won't happen with this conditioner.I was looking for an easy way to keep my iron skillet conditioned as we have several cooks in the house and many people use it. I ask each one to simply clean the skillet and leave on top of the stove so I can condition it before putting it away. It is always ready for use and works as well as seasoning it in the oven! This product works great for conditioning cast iron cookware. I'm not sure that it's better than shortening (Crisco for example), but it's more convenient.Tuesday, July 29, 2014

We have a large grille with stainless steel grates and this brush handles cleaning it fine. It is a comfortable design to work with.I got this brush over the one with the longer metal handle because I wanted to be able to scrub as hard as I needed to without the metal part bending. This brush works great for getting in the small grating of the q100. Bristles seems sturdy so I don't have to worry about them breaking off on the grill. Never buying cheap brushes again for that reason.Friday, February 28, 2014
Black & Decker G48TD Grill and Waffle Maker
I'll mention right now that this is a VERY hot waffle maker. They make the plastic ones to be "cool touch". I'll trade the cool touch feature for the sturdier design of this versatile machine. I'm being careful and haven't burned myself yet. But it's something to consider if you'd like your children making waffles. My ten year old could be careful enough, but I keep my five and eight year olds away.
The waffles this machine makes are great! They freeze well too. The family is very happy. When the light goes of the unit is ready to make waffles. Pour in the batter and the light comes on again--wait for it to go off and the waffle is done (however, I usually go on instinct and sometimes pull out the waffle before the light goes off.)
The open grill feature makes wonderful pancakes and fried eggs. I have a big family and it's nice to have two pancakes cook at a shot without taking up all my stovetop! I can have bacon and eggs on the stove and the pancakes on the waffle maker. (I can also have a heart attack if I keep eating all these bacon and eggs!)
The sandwich feature is nice. I can cook two grilled cheese sandwiches at one time getting me out of the kitchen quicker. Some advice--cheese might drip out the side of the sandwich. Just keep the sandwich away from the back of the unit where the cables run in and the mess just wipes off--no problem. The sandwiches cook far more uniformly than they do in a pan on the stove. They taste great.
This unit cleans up easily and changing the grills from waffle to flat is easy. I recommend it over a lot of more costly models if you want more value for your money. This is the most versatile waffle maker I've found and all the features actually work!I got this one after unsuccessfully trying the Cuisinart waffle maker. It is wonderful! None of the batters, not even gluten-free ones would stick. All waffles came out great, crisp outside and moist inside. The grill feature was a plus and makes great grill cheese or other types or grilled sandwishes in a jiffy.

Back in the 60's I loved the Sundays my Dad made waffles on a toastmaster Waffle/grill. He would add cinnamon, fruit, all kinds of things. Never stuck always light and fluffy. When I went to college my odyssey began. I have gone through 4! different brands and here is why you want this machine Ok Betty Crocker and others may have a beeper but the waffle that comes out could have come out of a toaster, B&D lets you choose on a dark to light waffle 'zone' with a light that goes out when it reaches that temp. Even with a thick from the box batter out came the most fluffy waffle with a Belgium like crust. Take a close look at this baby it's CROME and yes it will get hot, (kids don't touch) but unlike others it CLEANS UP. Overflows are no problem. Just as good a George Forman. And grilled sandwiches were wonderful but I use old world bakery bread with brie and dry salami, again adjust for light and dark. Favorite recipe? Coco for a chocolate waffle and chocolate chip ice cream to make a sandwich. This is an 'open and closed' case and really is space saver 3 in 1 product for our family.Read Best Reviews of Black & Decker G48TD Grill and Waffle Maker Here
This is a great waffle maker!! Every time we make waffles, they flip right out just like they're supposed to. We haven't had any of them get stuck or had any of the disasters/frustrations that we've had with other waffle irons. It's actually easy to make a waffle again. Can you imagine!? I think the reason why is that the Teflon is good and it gets hot, evenly. After you get it, my recommendation would be to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS that comes with it. Just before preheating, brush on some vegetable oil like it says to do. (I guess you can use spray but we've found the oil at first works best.) After that, you won't need anything at all for the other batches. Also, be sure not to mess up the Teflon coating by washing it while it's still hot (let it cool off completely) or by using utensils that will scratch it up, like metal forks and scrubbers. If you take care of this sensitive Teflon, it will take care of you. I think it says not to put it in the dishwasher so you probably don't want to. Both plates, top and bottom, are completely removable and they're really easy to clean with a basic sponge...don't use the scrubby side of the sponge though...you won't need to anyway.
We've made waffles several times already and they've been perfect every time. It DOES get really hot but that's a good thing. We've also flipped it over to the grill side and that's great too. We've made quesadillas, grilled cheese sandwiches, and burgers. For burgers, it has a trench like thing around the border of the grill that the fat collects in. You'll need a little cup or something to catch it where it supposed to drip out.
If you really want it to "drain the fat away" fast like a Forman type grill, just put something under the back left leg to tilt it a bit. Don't put something under the leg that could catch fire though....again, say it with me, "It gets really hot!" We've been placing it on our stove top when we use it...if you have sensitive counter tops, do that too.
If you make a sandwich, keep the grill open and flip the sandwich as needed. Otherwise, your sandwich will get really flat. I think that's it -It really is one of our better purchases lately and so we take good care of it. Oh, and adding a nice amount of vanilla extract to your waffle batter makes them delicious!! (wife said to throw that in) Happy Waffle'n!Those people who say they are looking for an "old fashioned waffle iron", and have actually _used_ an "old fashioned waffle iron", will enjoy this iron. I was searching for a real waffle iron, the kind that makes crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside waffles. This waffle iron is just the thing. It really is old-fashioned: It does get very hot on the outside, which is to be _expected_ with a chrome waffle iron whoever is surprised by that isn't old enough to use this appliance. The non-stick plates work as well as any other non-stick pan. They still require some oiling, and the waffle recipe has to include oil as well. I keep the iron closed while it heats up; it takes about 5 minutes to reach full-heat. That's just enough time for me to mix my waffle mix and let it rest before baking. I found that if I time the waffle baking for exactly 3 minutes, the waffles come out perfect every time. This is not your child's Easy Bake Waffle Iron if you want that, go buy one of those plastic things. For adult use only.

Pizzacraft PC0101 16.5' Round Cordierite Baking/Pizza Stone
This stone is thick and sturdy with a refined unglazed ceramic surface. I purchased it primarily to bake homemade pizza and crusty breads using my gas grill. It works great. I can get a smokey wood oven fired pizza flavor by tossing a single chunk of foil wrapped hardwood off to the side before I plant the pizza on this stone with a peel. You will need a pizza peel if you are going to bake on a grill!! When you are building your pizza make sure there is enough cornmeal or flour to keep the dough from sticking to the peel. Give it a shake once in a while to make sure it stays loose. Wait until your stone is fully heated before you build the pizza.
Start heating your stone by placing it in a cold grill or cold oven and then slowly heating to about 350. If you are using an indoor oven place the stone on the lowest rack possible. Let the stone come to temp for about an hour. Build your pizza on a well dusted peel and then crank up the oven to 500 to 550. Turn your grill burners on high. Plant the pizza on the stone by gently shaking it off the peel onto the stone. Watch closely and don't let it burn. If you do it right you will eat pizzeria quality pizza. I LOVE this stone!Product is very solid-but makes it heavy and thick. It was purchased because previous pizza stones ultimately break, and this was rated more durable. But be prepared for a strong chemical smell, that takes a few weeks to dissipate.

This pizza stone is sturdy and warms uniformly. However, the surface is very porous and scratches easily. Also, I can already tell only after a few uses that it will take a while to become "seasoned." Make sure to use a LOT of corn meal when you first start out using this pizza stone! If not, everything you make on it will stick.Want Pizzacraft PC0101 16.5' Round Cordierite Baking/Pizza Stone Discount?
This is a very pretty round pizza baking stone. I bought it actually to fit in an Ethiopian table, to hold Ethiopian food and to keep it warm. Perfect. It is pretty, holds the heat and the food stays warm. I have not tried baking pizza with it, but am sure that it will hold the heat and bake evenly. It is heavy FYI, but that is good as well as it gives you confidence that it isn't just a cheap baking dish. There is no lip, and I actually would have preferred something with a little lip to keep any juices from running off, and this could be a problem with pizza as well. That is why I didn't give it 5 stars.Monday, June 24, 2013
Cuisinart CSK-250 GreenGourmet 14-Inch Nonstick Electric Skillet
The vent hole in the glass top is too small. Water vapor stuffs up in this little hole and the lid starts to sputter all around the edge and all over the counter top. Cooking too fast? Well no. The temp control shuts on and off as most of them do, and so when it's in the on mode the pan gets a rush of heat and the top then sputters all over the place.
We have had the pan for about eight months, so perhaps cuisinart has corrected this problem. My grandma gave us a 12-inch square electric skillet in the 70s, but we hardly ever used it and eventually gave it to Goodwill. It offered no advantage over stovetop cooking.
My wife got the Green skillet for me last month. The 14 inch size makes it very versatile. You can brown a lot of mushrooms without having to batch-cook them. I'm sure it will fry a lot of chicken too.
The heat distribution is good. At 450 F, you can't sear steaks--leave that to 550F+ cast iron or Staub's enameled iron grill pans-but golden-browning is wonderfully easy to achieve.
For open-pan cooking, I would give it 4-5 stars.
I must however, subtract two full stars for the patently inadequate lid design. How many of us use lidded pans without using their lids to cook? It would be nice to use the Green skillet to steam, simmer or boil things, but the condensate on the lid underside flows directly to the pan rim, gathers, then bubbles, spits and drips all over the countertop and onto the temp-control module. I have to put a towel over the latter, not knowing if an electrical short could otherwise occur, and even then I have to wipe up the countertop afterwards. Or I have to "crack" the lid (which lessens dripping and directs it to one area). Not a fatal issue, but indicative of less-than-fully-thoughtful attention to functional detail by Cuisinart.
Two design modifications to the lid would greatly improve things. 1) a much larger vent hole with a sliding shutter to adjust the size of the orifice, and 2) a glass or metal circular rim on the underside running maybe a half inch from the lid's edge, to force lid-condensate to drip into the pan instead of flowing to the lid/pan-edges interface and sputtering out.
All in all, we're using this pan a lot, as it works really well for open-pan cooking, and then using the lid to keep food warm.

Although it initially worked well, this pan was a knock-off, not a Cuisinart item, as stated. The coating began lifting off after a few uses. The recipient contacted Cuisinart, which advised her of the propensity for sales on Amazon often being knock-offs. The parts come from the same source, but there are differences, such as the coating. (Cuisinart was very kind and, since she had the original receipt, allowed her to return the first pan at her cost and then shipped her a genuine cuisinart CSK-250, which definitely had a different coating.)Read Best Reviews of Cuisinart CSK-250 GreenGourmet 14-Inch Nonstick Electric Skillet Here
Nice large, deap, non stick, electric skillet with a heavy glass lid that has a vent hole in it. The only issue is that it has a small metal handle on the lid that gets very hot and you have to use a pot holder or oven glove to lift it when you want to stir the food. I would give this product five stars if they replaced the metal handle with a larger heat resistant handle.Want Cuisinart CSK-250 GreenGourmet 14-Inch Nonstick Electric Skillet Discount?
I have used it twice to make French Cruellers. They are fried in 2" of oil. The first time I set the thermostat for 325F and when the light went out I assumed it was up to Temp. Put my donut in and it just sat there. I tried the 350 setting but that didn't bring the temp up much so I turned it to 450 and was able to get the cruellers done.Today I decided to try it again. I put the 2 inches of room temp oil in the fry pan. Turned the thermostat to 350F. I checked it with a very trusty Thermo-Pen after 30 minutes and it was barely up to 250F. I finally turned the thermostat up to 450F and ONE hour later it registered 350 on my Thermo-Pen.
I feel there is something wrong with this skillet. I have many many Cuisinart products including all of their stainless steel cookware and I've been very happy with it. I would have written to the seller but haven't a clue who that is or how to find an email link for them.
