These salt and pepper shakers are a great size. The screw on lids fit a little loose and didn't stay on very well. I corrected this problem by putting plumber pipe tape around the threads now the lids stay on tight. Also the holes are kind of big and the salt and pepper come out very fast so use caution when seasoning your food. Other than that I really like these shakers and I am glad I bought them.

I've gone through several salt and pepper shakers. Finally I found these on Amazon.com. They are just like the ones that my mom had when I was growing up. They are good quality. One thing to note is these do not have the "S" & "P" designation on the shakers.

In all honesty, these really do look cool sitting on your counter. They have that classic look to them and they just demand attention! Now if that is where it stopped, I would think they were great. However, I'm not using them for a show piece. I actually wanted to use them, so here are a few words of insight about these shakers.

The handle does have a sharp feel to it as some others have mentioned. The holes are big on the shaker part, and the lid does have a little problem. Our lid actually fits fine, but I noticed when I take the lid off to refill it that all the stuff spills out where it collected around the threads. We put cinnamon and coca powder in ours for coffee. I use these every day to flavor our coffee, and we drink a lot of coffee every day so I use them quite often.

If you fill it even 1/2 of the way up you will notice a big pouring of stuff when you tip it. See, if the shaker has been filled up, you will dump so much stuff onto whatever it is that you are sprinkling that it may be overkill and ruin it. You have to be tricky about how you use this shaker.

What you do is shake it at an angle, like you're coming in from the side. Don't tip it straight up and down. Also it will clump up around the holes so you have to kind of tap it on the counter to free up the holes. If you gently shake at a slight angle you will get a light sprinkle that comes out.

These work once you have figured out the tricks, and if you just want a pair of cheap shakers then they're great. However, if you are looking for a really nice pair of shakers that are flawless, then you probably want to keep on looking.

If you're like me and serious about your cooking, you have two sets if shakers in the kitchen. One set near or around the stove for cooking, and one for the table. These stainless steel beauties are definitely for the stove top. (The salt comes out much too fast for table top use.) Their big, very free flowing, and best of all they are made of a high polished stainless steel that will last forever and clean up like new with a damp cloth no matter what kind of sticky mess you make of them during the cooking process. Also, since their so free flowing they don't seem to be affected at all by the humidity that invades the air in the summer and tends to gum up the salt works. The only small downside I should mention about these shakers is that they are not labeled in any way. No S Or P or anything else. I found that to be of no problem since salt by volume is twice as heavy as pepper. Even half full I can easily tell when I am picking up the salt. If it all concerns you, attach a small sticker somewhere to tell the difference. This should in no way make any difference in deciding whether to purchase these fine shakers. They work flawlessly, will last a lifetime, and are very reasonably priced. Highly recommended....

Rome Adjustable Cooking Grate

I did use this once to grill steaks in my fireplace. Fitting it inside the fireplace wasn't that difficult, although I did have to remove parts of the andirons to accomodate the cooking grate frame. Two problems I did have, though, were the handles on the cooking grate, and the steel pegs that hdld the grate in place. With the wooden cooking grate handles, they stuck out too far and I couldn't close my fireplace doors (which I wanted to do while the meat was cooking so smoke wasn't going inside my house). So I unbolted them for a quick fix. However, in trying to use the adjustable levels to place the cooking grate, some of the two inch steel pegs fell off, yes, I said fell off! Upon closer inspection it appears to have been very shoddy weld points. I had three of the steel pegs fall off, and this wasn't due to severe stress, just the normal placement of the cooking grate at the different height levels. On a positive note, Amazon had a no questions asked return policy, and I was able to return the item at no cost to me, and received a full refund.

I'm using it for cooking in the fireplace. It is the only one I found that has an adjustable height. The two different positions are perfect for using it in a fireplace, since you have a limiting amount of space and charcoal. Great buy.

Grill works great. Hanger brackets should be revised so that the grate tips inward to keep grease from running out on the fireplace hearth. Base platform is larger than it needs to be and makes it difficult to insert in a fireplace equipped with glass doors.

The product itself is a great design and I was hoping it would be exactly as advertised. However, upon close inspection (after I received the shipment), the quality is poor. One of the handles attached perfect....the other one, not so good. The result was two uneven handles that I'm sure wouldn't have remained intact after a few uses. Also, the "sturdy steel cooking grate" was simply a high gloss paint over the metal surface. In fact, it started to chip off around the area where the handles bolt to the side of the grate and clearly this surface was made for show and not for go.

It's a shame and with a little more focus on quality workmanship, this could be a great product. I am returning it back to Amazon and getting a refund. Don't waste your money here.

Poorly made. The assembly was impossible. The drill holes did not line up so that the screws could be inserted. It could never be assembled so that the grate would be in proper position.. Emailed the company about the problem and never received any response.(It has been over a month).

What a great little appliance. My kids love this thing. Clean up is a breaze. We love the style. I bought this at a local retailer for double the price that Amazon has it at.

It's great for grilled cheese. It cooks them perfectly and it works well if you use big slice brown bread like I do. The slot is made for smaller type bread but I let my bread hang over a bit and it still seals the sandwich up. A few times cheese has leaked out while cooking and I wait until the unit cools down and wipe it with a wet cloth and it's back to clean. I have owned other brands in the past and they have all been pains to clean. Not this one.

Cant go wrong with this one.

The sandwich making part was very good. Although if you use a lot of fillers, they might come out of the sides. But it used to heat up fast, and you could get a sandwich in 4 mins.

BUT, the handle broke in a month. And the problem is the handle has the lock which holds the lid down. Without that the lid wont close, and you can push it down when heeted because the top gets hot sooner. So its almost useless now. Since I got it $9-10, didnt mind that much, but consider this scenario when buying.

I'm very happy with this convection oven. It couldn't be simpler to use: place food, set temperature dial, set timer dial, and walk away. The heat is concentrated on the food so it cooks very quickly without heating the whole kitchen as is the case with a conventional oven.

One negative would be the lack of a comprehensive cookbook, but that's minor since you really will be following your old recipes.

I love this oven, I have had it about 6 months and my microwave has been unplugged that whole time I do not miss my microwave at all. The food tastes a lot better from this oven than it does from a microwave.

I've been wanting to try this type of oven since I saw the infomercial for a similar product. I was lucky enough to find it for $8.00 at a garage sale. I have made the best chicken ever with this product. I bought an already seasoned half chicken from the grocery store. I set the oven for about 325 degrees and kept an eye on it for about 15 minutes. The skin was crisp and the inside was the juiciest chicken I ever had. Better than any restaurant, surpassing the oven and the other convection oven, better than the rotissirie chicken you get at the supermarket. I have been experimenting with seasoning combinations.

I've also cooked a cheesecake that turned out great. Made a quick hot dogs and french fries for lunch.

This oven is very convenient for relatively small quantities (2-3 persons), plus you don't have to turn the food for it to cook well. The problem I encountered is that at high temperatures, its fan hits something and becomes very noisy. It eventually stops and the oven effectively stops working then. It does it less often now, in part because I don't set the temperature to be very high. It cooks just as well, though, even like that and it remains convenient for cooking almost everything I can imagine.

Nice idea and they work as advertised as far as the food staying secure. However, the handles are not fire resistant. The first one we used came off the grill warped and partially melted from the heat. It was a hot but not flaming fire.

I love the idea and I hope some day they will be able to make it where the plastic will not melt on the grill. We use a cedar plank board between the plastic part and the grill for now and it works. We love the double prong it makes putting on meats and veggies so easy and you can flip them so much easier than a single prong.

The hot pot was listed under a name of "Maruki" in January when I ordered it. I thought it was a different product from what I saw in some super markets. So I placed an order. It's was a big surprise to me when I received the item that has a brand name of "Ikeda". I called the seller and they said that they did not have time to edit the description. If I had known this is an Ideda product I would have bought it from 99 Ranch Market. They are now on sale for $34.99 (the original price was $39.99). However, the hot pot is excellent and the shipping was fast.

We do hotpot quite regularly, at least once a month. This is a very good pot for hotpot. Easy to setup, easy to clean. Definitely recommend it.

This Shabu Shabu Hot Pot makes for great family dinners and conversations with friends. Everyone loves sharing the hot pot, discovering floating delicacies. The only thing I regret with the purchase is not to have invested in the 2 compartment for the broth. With a single compartment we can only have one broth rather than the two we usually get at our local Asian restaurant. The two compartment version allow for a mild and a spicy broth instead of the average dull mix.

Once the food is prepared, there isn't much to do with the hot pot. Just plug it in, adjust the thermostat and wait a few minutes. Usually we set it up on high until it boils, then reduce quite a bit just to keep it warm. With a full load of broth, it takes about 12 minutes to boil before you can start enjoying your delicious meal. Cleaning is very easy as the top comes off.

I had read the previous reviews and though, to myself: Mustard sounds like an okay color. A n ice bright mustard could work well. I was wrong. These pillows are not mustard yellow. They are actually a BROWNISH ORANGEY COLOR. Maybe a burnt orange-yellow??? Absolutely NOTHING like the picture. Really ugly. I already called Amazon and got my return label. OhAnd some of the stuffing was coming through on of the seams, so cheaply made, too. I'll be adding a pic shortly. Check the Other Images for this item.

I ordered 4 outdoor pillows, plus I purchased some outdoor material from a local fabric store so I'm familiar with the feel of outdoor fabric. The pillows are a nice color, but the material does not feel like outdoor fabric to me. Most outdoor fabric is a little stiff feeling. These pillows are very soft. While they look nice, I'm concerned that they are not really water resistant as they should be. My alternative is to spray them with some outdoor fabric waterproofing spray and hope that keeps them from getting soggy in a rainstorm.

I am "half" disappointed with this purchase. I have been looking literally for months for just the right pillows for my new outdoor furniture with the right print and at the right price point. I bought the print that looks like it's almost a Greek scroll style in blue. I received them quickly, which is good. The print and color are exactly what is pictured, which is good. It's the size and construction that is disappointing. The spec say they are 17" by 17", but they are definitely not. They are 12" by 12". A big difference, so now I have to buy more, larger, pillows to fill in the gaps. AS another reviewer noted, they are only finished 3/4 of the way around, and on the 4th side it is an outside/inverted seam. I was shocked. I remember finishing pillows in this way in my Middle School home ec class. Now that I look at the picture though, I CAN see that inverted 4th seam. Look closely. I should have read the other reviews before purchasing, but it is too much hassle to return, and I really do like the pattern/color....so I'm settling.

This is the third pizza/bread stone I have owned. Unless I drop it on the patio it may well be my last. My first two were smaller and thinner and both eventually cracked in half. This one feels built to last.

This stone is thick and sturdy with a refined unglazed ceramic surface. I purchased it primarily to bake homemade pizza and crusty breads using my gas grill. It works great. I can get a smokey wood oven fired pizza flavor by tossing a single chunk of foil wrapped hardwood off to the side before I plant the pizza on this stone with a peel. You will need a pizza peel if you are going to bake on a grill!! When you are building your pizza make sure there is enough cornmeal or flour to keep the dough from sticking to the peel. Give it a shake once in a while to make sure it stays loose. Wait until your stone is fully heated before you build the pizza.

Start heating your stone by placing it in a cold grill or cold oven and then slowly heating to about 350. If you are using an indoor oven place the stone on the lowest rack possible. Let the stone come to temp for about an hour. Build your pizza on a well dusted peel and then crank up the oven to 500 to 550. Turn your grill burners on high. Plant the pizza on the stone by gently shaking it off the peel onto the stone. Watch closely and don't let it burn. If you do it right you will eat pizzeria quality pizza. I LOVE this stone!

Product is very solid-but makes it heavy and thick. It was purchased because previous pizza stones ultimately break, and this was rated more durable. But be prepared for a strong chemical smell, that takes a few weeks to dissipate.

This pizza stone is sturdy and warms uniformly. However, the surface is very porous and scratches easily. Also, I can already tell only after a few uses that it will take a while to become "seasoned." Make sure to use a LOT of corn meal when you first start out using this pizza stone! If not, everything you make on it will stick.

This is a very pretty round pizza baking stone. I bought it actually to fit in an Ethiopian table, to hold Ethiopian food and to keep it warm. Perfect. It is pretty, holds the heat and the food stays warm. I have not tried baking pizza with it, but am sure that it will hold the heat and bake evenly. It is heavy FYI, but that is good as well as it gives you confidence that it isn't just a cheap baking dish. There is no lip, and I actually would have preferred something with a little lip to keep any juices from running off, and this could be a problem with pizza as well. That is why I didn't give it 5 stars.

This is a very simple, yet "you've got to get it" kind of camping gadget. In a world that gets very hung up on tech -including camping tech -there are some easy to omit fundamentals that make camping what it should be, and Rome's Tripod Grill is one of those. Why so good you ask? Simple -the tripod is well-made: No thin guage metal involved. It's very simple to use: just put the poles together, pop them into the top, put the chain-hung grill on and you're cookin'. It's well designed: there is a raised edge that keeps food (such as hot dogs) from rolling off the edges. It also breaks down small enough to fit into a patrol (a/k/a chuck) box. And for all of this, you get the taste of food cooked over an open campfire -which is a real treat and part of why we get out there! Enjoy!

The tripod was easy to assemble, although I recommend you put it together BEFORE you light the fire. The chain works great for hanging a coffee pot. The grill spins on the chain so you'll want something to hold the grill with when you turn your food, but the spinning can be an advantage since you can move the food over a hotter or cooler part of the fire to control cooking.

I've had a few grills of this type over the years for camping. The last ones were made by Coghlan's. they had a great tripod but the grill grate was cheap and sagged and warped after the first season. The Rome grill has a much better and heavier grill grate but the tripod is junk; small diameter tubing and difficult to assemble without the legs falling apart. I've mounted the Rome grate on the sturdy Coghlan tripod and am using that now.

Couldn't wait to use my new tripod. Built the fire, put the tripod together, put the dutch oven on the grill top and added the meat. Oh boy, dinner soon. Decided to lower the grill closer to the fire. That's when disaster struck. The chain pulled apart, sending the pot full of meat into the flames. Fortunately, it stayed right side up but the rest of the tripod fell apart...there is nothing to hold the top piece into the legs...it went everywhere. Ended up laying the tripod legs across the logs, putting the grill on top and cooking that way. The legs are burnt, the chain is broken. A very expensive one time use! I'm getting my 30 year old Coleman tripod back! I know I can depend on it!

We used it camping to cook with a stock pot, hot dogs, beans, even toast a sandwich at the same time!! This guy worked great! I would just say to make sure you have the height and placement of the tri pod grill set up before setting food on there since the legs come apart easily if you pull up on them. Keep the box also so its easy to keep together. The grill has a raised edge so hot dogs dont roll off. Very very pleased with this buy and highly suggest it, all my friends loved using it as well!

I was ready to design this type of splatter screen when I found it at Amazon. It is the only place to get one. This is better the screens designed to fit on top of a skillet. With that type, food still splatters when it is lifted up to check on the food or turn it. The Norpor keeps the rest of the cooktop clean. I used it around my counter top grill to keep the splatters off the counter and wall.

I ordered these for gifts, because I have a different brand I purchased many years ago and everyone that sees it wants one. When I opened it I almost cut myself on the edges. The one I have was nothing like these. They are sharp and can not be put in dishwasher. Very disappointed, cheaply made and not safe.
