Recently upgraded our kitchen and was time to update our old Henckels as well (nothing really wrong with them, but they are 10 years old). All we can say is WOW! These are a beautifully finished product. The curve from the tang to the handle is just gorgeous. Typically would not buy a boxed set so went with the 6 pc, wish would have went with the larger set. Looks like we will be buying some more of these beauties to fill the block. Speaking of the block, not a bad looking piece (one of the reasons we went with this set), however be aware it is a little on the tall side and not as angled as typical blocks, so if you are storing under some cabinets make sure you will have some room to pull the knives out.
