We purchased this to use with our outdoor grill. It's hefty, won't get charred from the flames and has a removable rosewood handle that folds down for storage. While its a pizza peel, think of it as a large stainless kitchen spatula. It has multiple uses around the kitchen.

It's sturdy, made of stainless steel with a nice hardwood handle and does the job well. I really don't know how you could do better.

I love pizza. Recently we bought a pizza stone to try and achieve even better pizza at home. Naturally we needed a pizza peel, and so began the search. I didn't want a wooden one since they look to be too thick. I thought briefly about getting the large aluminum (American Metalcraft) with the variously sized long handles. I ruled these out as they looked a bit cheap online. So I found this and thought my search was over.

It arrived promptly and well packaged...as usual. Quality is there. This thing is sturdy and has a nice handle. The only issue is the size. It is very narrow. You'd never guess by looking at the photos, but it is narrow enough that we had to make a different shaped pizza. I soon gave up on this though and decided that this peel is not for us. We ended up purchasing an American Metalcraft...I will ad a link here to my other review once I write it. The difference in size is ridiculous.

So...in summary, this is a nice peel and will likely work for many. We kept it and find that it comes in handy for those times when the dough starts to stick to the other peel! It's like a giant spatula.

I use it to take all sorts of stuff out of my little electric oven as well as out of the big gas oven. It's really big and really handy....and it's so sturdy, you could probably lengthen the handle and shovel snow with it --although I wouldn't do that. We don't have much snow in South Texas.

George Foreman 4 Serving Classic Plate Grill

USING THE GRILL:

This George Forman grill is good for cooking for two or a small family. The grill flips open and you can place your food on it and close it so both the bottom and top are cooking at the same time. The grill comes with a spatula and cleaning tool. The grease from the grill drips into a small grease cup which is included.

COOKING:

The cooking surface is 60 square inches. This means that you can fit about two hamburgers, two chicken legs, two typical sized sandwiches/paninis or five big sausages (like bratwurst). The cooking surface has ridges and is tilted so the grease on the food can drip down into the grooves and off the grill into the grease drip cup. This helps get rid of more fat so the food comes out healthier.

This model is not temperature controlled like the premium model depending on what you are cooking you can end up burning some food before its cooked in the middle if you cook it with the lid down. Some things need to be cooked with the lid open. The top does not get as hot as the bottom does, so to cook thoroughly, often you have to flip the burgers over once.

SIZE:

The cooking surface is 60 square inches. Closed, it is about a foot long and wide (not quite square) and is about six inches tall. The whole cooking surface is raised up, which makes it great for scraping food directly off the grill onto a plate or into a taco shell. This size is pretty good for cooking for two or for a small family. If you are cooking large meals, either in advance or for say four adults, you will have to cook in batches. You might want to consider the 100 inch model George Foreman GR100V 100-Square-Inch Nonstick Grill with Variable Temperature Control if you do that frequently.

CLEANING:

The grill is designed to be easy clean, and for the most part you can just wipe it down with a sponge or wet paper town. If you do this while its still warm it will be easier. However, some marinades will adhere more to the surface and can be more of a pain to get off not impossible, but more work. The grill comes with a tool to help clean it.

PROS:

Easy to clean (99% of the time)

Raised up means its easy to scrape things off the grill onto a plate

Cooks fast

Removes a lot of grease while cooking, for healthier meals

Nice sleek look

Built well enough to last a few years of constant use before needing replacement

CONS:

Doesn't always cook evenly top to bottom, flipping is required sometimes

Marinades can adhere to the cooking surface and are harder to clean

Cord is short only 2 feet, so you need to be very close to an outlet

Isn't truly family sized, this is really sized better for two people

Overall, its a good buy, especially at this price. I would recommend it.

This'll make a couple of hamburgers, a couple of chicken legs or two standard-sized sandwiches (which is English for panini) at the same time. With the adjustable lid set up, it'll make open-faced sandwiches. It's not so great at grilling steaks (the upper element doesn't get hot enough) but for a quick burger, it can't be beat. The non-stick surface is a treat (try to clean it before it cools all the way; it's a little easier that way).

I replaced an older Foreman model of the same size and reviews of this model helped me determine that this was the size I wanted. The old one I got rid of had the bun warmer on top, which was mainly inconvenient, not only because I never used it, but it was the first thing to break (every time I opened the grill the bun warmer lid would flip open). I love that this grill takes up little counter space but holds a decent amount of food and that there's no bun warmer. It heats quickly, maintains temperature well and holds two large burgers or five real sausages (not breakfast links it would probably do 10-12 of those at a time) or six hot dogs. I don't cook chicken on it, but it would probably cook 2-3 chicken breasts, depending on size. For clean-up, I wait for the grill to cool down and then wipe down the top and bottom grill plates with a couple of paper towels. Then it's perfectly clean and ready to heat up for the next use. I realized how much we love this thing when we lived without one for a month.

I had debated for a long time whether to buy this cheaper George Foreman grill or to suck it up and buy the premium model. After having used it to grill chicken and bacon, I am convinced that the premium model is worth the extra money. ALthough the food cooked well, the top cooked faster than the bottom resulting in some burned chicken. Skip this one and go for a premium, temperature controlled model.

I got lucky,I found one at walmart for $22,on clearance. I love it,the black model looks great. It big enough to cook four beef patties,at once. It comes with four raiser attachments for the legs,so you can push taco meat into a taco shell,strait from the grill.

I like the style of these tongs the teeth help hold onto things without them slipping away.

However, the metal is VERY soft. I like to grill roasts and these tongs bend far too easily to be able to grip, much less pick up a piece of meat like a boneless pork shoulder They bent outward and stayed that way (of course I can just bend them right back by hand).

I think they are very good if you are just working with steaks/links etc.

I only gave 1 star since I couldn't give 0 stars. These are totally useless since they can't grip anything, there is no strength at all, food falls right off. I am surprised someone gave these 4-stars when they too had similar complaint plus they are light weight metal and bent.

George Foreman The Next Grilleration Grill, Red

I bought this George Foreman grill because I live in an apartment building and wanted something small and convenience that don't smoke alot to set of my fire alarm. This grill did not disappoint,it met all my expectation, and beyond. I find myself eating very healthy with this grill. I made turkey burger, chicken burger, vege burger, grill cheese, grill veges, grill chicken breast, grill shrimp, salmon, shish kabob and many more. Since I started grilling I lost about 15 pounds with out even thinking.

The grill is a nice size and to heavy. You can make about 5 burgers at a time . It has removeable plate which makes it very easy to clean, you just take a sponge and wipe the grill of. The grill does come with a timer for you to time your food and how many minutes each food should grill for. It also comes with a booklet with some recipes,about the grill and timing. I recommend this grill because it makes moist burgers, tender chicken breast and does what it supposed to do which is grill my food with ease.

This works great so far.... We have already used this a few times. Wonder if it will last as long as the original one we had.

I'm a huge fan the trays are removable in this option. The original was such a hassle picking up the whole thing to the other side of the kitchen to clean...

The plates are easy to remove and put back in place after cleaning.

I will post again if I experience any issues....

My Husband and I live in an apartment complex and we can not have a grill for safety reasons. We have been debating over a George Foreman grill. We found the one we wanted , looked on amazon and got it. I literally got it 2 days after i ordered it and its the best purchase i ever made. I cooked chicken on it and it took literally 5-7 mins to do 9 pieces of chicken! The plates come off for easy cleaning! This is a GREAT product that I recommend to everyone.

I have used this grill so much! I bought it because of the removable plates which my original George Foreman did not have. I cook chicken, pork chops grilled cheese etc. Now this one truly is easy to clean! I can take the plates off and put them in the sink to clean. I don't see any need to put them in the dishwasher because I probably will be using it again before the dishwasher gets done. For the price, this grill fits all of my wants, and then some.

Weber 6468 Original Wok Tool Set

Got mine today and to my disappointment the silver ring around the middle of the slimmer wooden spatula or whatever is not flush with the wood so that it can snag and scratch. Another problem is that one is said to be a spoon, the other spatula, but the only difference that comes close to making one that and the other this is that one is narrower, one isn't flatter than the other or more deeper to make it more spoon-like. Further, their use as either just from visual inspection doesn't seem like they'd be good at either since the fronts of the items are thick. I've uploaded pictures so that what I'm saying can be better understood.

they are a great shape. Easy to work with. They are also easy to clean. The hooks make it easy to store them also.

I love the fire pit. It works as advertised. I did not get the tank holder or the hose that was supposed to come with it. The seller told me 2 times it was on it's way. I now know that it is not going to come. I bought my own hose. I love the product but do not buy it from "Ideal True Value".
