Santa Fe QM2R 900-Watt Quesadilla Maker
What I love is that I can make quesadillas with very little oil in this maker as opposed to stove top. The quesadillas come out crispy and with distinct segments that I can quickly cut with a pizza cutter. I love serving the wedges as snacks at cocktail parties, especially as they come out crispy and sealed and can be served as a finger food.
There is also no end to fillings. My favorites 1) spinach/sundried tomatoes/cheese or 2)mushrooms/red peppers/grilled chicken/provolone cheese or 3)mashed potatoes seasoned with red onions/green chilli/cilantro/a dash of any good spice mix/a light sprinkling of cheese 4) roasted corn/red pepper/black beans/cheese 5) broccoli/chicken/cheese 6) spicy turkey mince cooked Indian "keema" style with green peas and tomatoesas you can see the list of yummy ingredients goes on and on.
I just prep the surfaces with a quick spray of olive/canola oil and don't use much cheese. So much better than the calorie rich quesadillas you get in restaurants. You can even use any tasty leftovers/casseroles as stuffing for the quesadillas. My family and friends simply love the quesadilla parties where I lay out many ingredients and they can mix and match and make their own quesadillas.
Some tips: If you use cheese try using the natural cheese which creates less mess than the melting processed variety. Also buy the bigger tortillas so that the whole surface is covered and the edges are neatly sealed. If you must use a small tortilla, put less filling right in the center and go very easy on the cheese, or it will seep out and create a mess. If you do get a mess, it is very easy to clean it off with a damp paper towel right after you take out your quesadilla.Napoleon Dynamite's grandma would be proud to own one of these! Works great. One little tip before you head to the grocery store... you must use the LARGE "burrito size" tortillas with this. If you try to use smaller tortillas like "taco size" or "fajita size," they won't extend out to the part of the grilling surface that seals the edges and your melting cheese will flow out the sides. The instructions say you must use a 10" diameter torilla. That's usually sold as "burrito size." I agree with Diane that an on/off switch would have been a nice feature, but it still works wonderfully.

I love this product! Try it with the flavored tortilla wraps they have out now, I had a great spinach tortilla quesadilla with green chilis, awesome, after that I had to buy one for myself and I don't regret it. It preheats within five minutes, flop a full-size burrito tortilla or wrap on there, load it with fillings, throw another one on close the lid, let it heat and there you are: lunch in under fifteen minutes, it's that easy. Since I am very lazy about any sort of cooking, this has made my lunches so much more fulfilling. Another note, so far, none of the fillings I've used have stuck to the nonstick surface and it is easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth or sponge. Just don't overfill the tortillas or they won't seal at the edges and the fillings will leak out.Read Best Reviews of Santa Fe QM2R 900-Watt Quesadilla Maker Here
I have a cheese quesadilla fanatic for a husband and never could get his approval when it came to making his favorite at home. Tried the oven and broiler method and just ended up with either a soggy mess or a burnt beyond edible trash can item. Well, I happened to stumble upon this handy little item. Wow, has this made my life easier. Better yet, He can now make his own. It makes the most wonderful quesadillas ever. Just a few minutes in the machine and you have the perfect snack. They are sealed and have the perfect consistancy. And don't know why but stay warmer longer than others. I figure this is due to the sealing of the tortilla. I also love the separations in the cooker. It makes it so easy to serve and gives it a real professional look. I have also tried a few of the recipes that come along with the machine and they were just great. Give this maker a try. It really will make your life easier, whether it's for your quesadilla fanatic or for the kids afterschool snacks. Also, Stands on end so it's easy to store.Catch this machine when it is on sale! It is so worth it. We use it weekly and make the best dang quesadillas ever. The machine crisps and browns the torillas to perfection. Easy clean-up, too.Thursday, June 19, 2014

Bodum Fyrkat 13.4-Inch Portable Charcoal Grill
I don't mean to dismiss appearance this is a nice looking grill. But it is more expensive and I honestly couldn't see why other than its unusual appearance.
The Fyrcat is slightly smaller and most definitely lighter than Weber grills in the same range. Lighter is probably better when looking at portability. The lid latches are tight and secure and allow you to carry the grill with charcoal ready to go inside.
The negative comments about the heat vents near the handle seem a bit over reactionary. Your hand is not directly exposed to the air escaping as the lower arm of the handle is directly above the vent. It's a minimal risk given that users should have protective mitts on hand nearby in the first place. The design also has a plus side as you turn the handle to close and open the vents. Not a major selling point, but it is easier on this grill than on the Weber Smokey Joe grills.
If you're on a tight budget this probably isn't the grill for you. If you're looking for something that's both practical and attractive, that shows itself off a little, this is a nice grill to own.
The Bodum Picnic Grill is a good looking grill that you can take with you on your family outings. It is big enough for a 4 or 5 hamburgers or steaks but small enough to easily fit in the trunk of your car.
A few other points
As others have mentioned the grills vent is right by the handle. You do need to be careful
With the locks on the side the grill can be moved without worrying about everything dumping out.
The grill is very colorful if you like colorful grills you are in luck!
Lightweight probably weighs less than 3lbs
Seems to have solid construction it certainly does not feel flimsy
Designed to allow even charcoal distribution while provide a nice convection like effect
At the list price the grill does not seem like much of a value. You may want to investigate to see if you can find less expensive options.
Final Verdict I am impressed with the grill, but you may be able to find a less expensive options
4 Stars
Buy Bodum Fyrkat 13.4-Inch Portable Charcoal Grill Now
The Bodum Frykat 13.4 Inch Portable Charcoal Grill is a handy little grill for those who don't have the space for a larger grill, or who want a portable grill you can take along just about anywhere. It's small enough to take along and use wherever, but large enough to cook a fair amount at a time. This is more for the family going on a picnic or cooking a couple burgers and hot dogs quickly in the back yard or on the deck, not for hosting a large party. (It is big enough to cook a couple steaks too)I have the orange model, which my little girl really likes because she likes orange. However, it does come in green, yellow, black, blue and off-white. Personally, I'd probably go with the black model if it was just me, but it is nice that they have the colors for those that want the variety. Most important thing is that it cooks, and that it does.
There is a small tray and grate that fits in the bottom to place your charcoal on top of, and then there is the larger grill that fits on top. The unit is not very deep, so you won't be placing a lot of charcoal in it. Again, this is for cooking small meals, and it works just fine for that. The legs are sturdy enough. I placed mine on the concrete beside our back door and it was fine. The directions to state that the unit is not intended to be used on top of tables.
There is a handle on top of the lid that is rubber covered so it does not get hot when on the grill. I had no issues with taking the cover off to turn our meat or retrieve it when it was done. There are two air vents right under the handle, and you close those by turning the handle. There are also three rubber clips on the side. These are for transporting the unit when not in use. These clips clamp the lid to the rest of the unit and you can then pick up the entire grill by the convenient handle on top and take the grill with you wherever you go. You don't want to do this unless it is cool of course.
If you are looking for a small charcoal grill due to lack of space, or need a smaller spare for taking with you, the Bodum Frykat 13.4 Inch Portable Charcoal Grill is a good little unit that does the trick. It is a bit more expensive than some of the models you can find, but it is nicer in a couple ways than some of the cheaper ones I've seen too. I like cooking with it, my little girl likes the color, and I'm sure it will be a nice, handy, little grill for many lunches, dinners, and picnics.

The Bodum Fyrkat 13.4" Grill is a great little grill for backyard/camping grilling. It has a rubber-coated handle as well as rubber coated grill cover clamps which can come in handy when around hot steel. In addition to Orange, the Fyrkat also comes in three other colors for those people who are tired of the basic black. The lid handle also turns to actuate the air vents in the lid which is a nice feature. The charcoal platform/ash collector is removable to allow for separate cleaning. This should theoretically allow for the interior to stay extremely clean, since the charcoal bits will fall into a separate compartment, and not the bottom of the grill as with a Weber model, but so far I haven't been able to figure out how to remove this piece w/o some of the burned charcoal rolling off into the bottom of the grill. Guess I need more practice.Big drawback and why I've lowered it to 3 Stars is that the grill is very expensive. List price is $80 which is REALLY high considering comparable portable grills. Although Amazon has lowered this to $49.99, it is still more expensive than the much cheaper Weber 10020 Smokey Joe Silver Charcoal Grill (lists at $34.70, Amazon sells at $29.70) or Weber's upgrade model the 40020 Smokey Joe Gold Charcoal Grill (lists at $39.70, Amazon sells at $34.70). Considering I see little difference in actual operation and function between the Bodum and Weber grills (especially between the Fyrkat and the Smokey Joe Silver both of which I now own), I'm wondering what you are paying for in the additional $15. The rubber-coated devices, although a really nice touch, and a little higher quality construction can't be worth 33% more can it?
Good grill, but unless the color variations and rubber-coated handles really do it for you, seems like a little pricey for a backyard/camping/tailgate grill unless you are using it to cook your Salmon and Bris...
******** UPDATE **********
(9 July, 2012): Word to the wise DO NOT LOSE ANY PART OFF THIS GRILL!!! I recently left the grill top at a park after a cookout and after looking around Bodum's website and after several calls to their customer service line, I learned that they DO NOT sell replacement grill tops (or for that matter, any kind of spare parts). One guy took my name and number and said that he'd call me back if they took a grill on return (still hearing crickets chirping...). So now I am left with a charcoal grill that I already thought was somewhat pricey but now it has no cooktop. Of course, Bodum's kettle is a non-standard diameter so no other brand makes a grating that perfectly fits into the space (not even Webber and their many different sized options) so I'm left with either improvising a cooktop that doesn't fit or retrofitting the interior of the kettle to make the replacement grate that I bought fit. I chose the former and went with a larger grill that we can lay over the kettle and we've only used it once since. A crying shame...
Want Bodum Fyrkat 13.4-Inch Portable Charcoal Grill Discount?
Well, we're more than halfway through summer, and I've just finally gotten it together to do a post about portable charcoal grills. Some of you may know I write a popular meat blog called The Meatist (), and in my meaty adventures have had occasion to cook out of doors more than a little. While for the last few years I've been laming out and relying on the ease-of-use that comes with a gas grill, I recently received a Bodum Fyrkat Portable Charcoal Grill for review, and I was psyched to get back to charcoal.
The Fyrkat is a fairly basic grill at first glance; it's got a wire grate for cooking, it's a kettle-style, and it's got two ventilation holes at the top of the dome, controlled by twisting the handle back and forth. What sets it apart from many others, and certainly from a hibachi, is the three latches that hold the top in place. This allows you to fill it with charcoal, slap the top on, and toss it in your trunk to go to a cookout. No fuss, no muss, and it's easy to carry the whole thing by the handle.
In the performance department, it does great. Plenty of ventilation from the bottom (underneath the separate charcoal tray that catches the vast majority of ash) gives you the flexibility to run it hot or hotter by moderating the top vents.
As for grill size, I was able to cook up five giganzo burgers on the 13.4 inch grate with no problem at all, so a basic cookout for a family of 5 or 6 would be easy peasy.
If easy transport isn't a priority though, you can save a few bucks and rock the Weber Smokey Joe Silver Charcoal Grill which is about $20 cheaper. While it doesn't come with the latches, and colors aren't quite as interesting (it comes in black, as opposed to the orange, blue, green, yellow, white, adn black of the Bodum), it's 14.5-inch grill gives a bit more space too cook on, and it's a Weber, so you know it will last.
On the downside, the Weber holds its charcoal on a straight grate, which means ash is apt to fall through the bottom vent holes and land wherever you've parked the thing. On the Fyrkat, there's a solid pan under the grate, but above the ventilation holes, so that isn't nearly as much of an issue, either when cooking or during post-cookout transport.
But regardless, either of these beat a hibachi hands down in my opinion. They're compact, the work great, and the capitalize on a covered, smokey cooking environment. If you're in the market for a small cookout grill that you can transport easily, or are just tired of looking at your hibachi, give the Fyrkat a good look.
Oh, and if you're looking for tips on grilling and cooking meat or recipes for meats and barbecue sauces, stop by The Meatist I've got a ton of 'em.

Euro-Pro TO161 Convection 6-Slice Toaster Oven
Pros: It holds a 12" plate or pizza thanks to a curved bulge in the back
Comes with two racks and three different positions for them
The convection feature (a small fan that circulates the hot air) really does keep the temperature even
Due to the large interior size, food isn't too close to the heating elements, so you can use temp & time settings similar to a real oven
Cons: The racks don't slide in and out very easily; extreme caution is needed if using a casserole or anything else heavy
The settings around the dial are in very small print and it's hard to be sure you have them where you want them
Since there isn't a dedicated toast darkness feature, you have to set it every time on the mechanical timer and really watch to make sure you don't overtoastI bought this little toaster oven after both my kids left home, but used it very little. After my husband died, I began to use it almost daily... why use the big oven just for me? I've had this little oven for probably 6 years now and have baked 1 person meals, 1/2 dozen cookies, 2 person pies, and more (I bought little toaster oven bakeware from Bed Bath & Beyond). It's been a great little work-horse for me.
That said, there is one idiosyncracy that I'd assume to be common among all toaster ovens and that is that I have to set the heat down 25' lower than what the instructions or recipe calls for. I assume this is because it's much smaller than a regular oven. No big deal.
Also, the timer knob has now broke twice in the past 6 years; I would assume this is because it gets the most stress and use. I replaced it the first time via the manufacturer's website. Unfortunately I'm unable to get a replacement this time since the website now seems to be for the Shark vacuume, so I've been using a flat head screw driver to turn the timer on. In the meantime...
I just remembered this morning that Ace Hardware carries a variety of replacement knobs, so I'm pretty confident that when I go up there, I'll find one. I'll update this part later...
I'm not elderly, but I am a fairly patient person and would recommend this product. You just have to realize that knobs will wear out and small ovens heat hotter; so turn down the temp and remove the top rack when baking something larger that would come in close contact with the top element like taco shells... and check your food often the last 5-10 minutes like you would anything else in a larger oven. Food burns people and you can't blame the oven for that!
UPDATE!
Ace no longer carries replacement knobs. However I DID finally find a number to call... 800-798-7395 ... and immediantly got cust svc. As of 10/7/2011, the replacement knob was $3.95 + shipping and tax. Was told it would ship out via UPS and that I should have it within 7-10 days. I also asked if there was a website I could have gone to and was told no, so I guess calling is the only way to get replacement knobs (I ordered 2). I ALSO wrote the 800 number with a Sharpie on the back of my oven.
Also, while doing a web search for replacment knobs, I stumbled upon one clever lady who said she super glued her knob back together AND THEN placed a metal nut around it for added strength.

Within weeks of purchase the bottom knob broke off. That's the one that controls on/off and the timer. For shorter times, the timer seems to work better without the knob. I use a putty knife to turn it on and to set the timer. Keep thinking I should just put it in the dumpster and move on. But it has some aspects that make it worth keeping. But it is a little embarrassing without its knob. I put the support web site URL from the manual () in Internet Browser and that site now solely supports a vacuum cleaner. Guess that tells all about euro-pro's product support.Want Euro-Pro TO161 Convection 6-Slice Toaster Oven Discount?
First: the timer is not so fit, hard to set it under 5 mins. Second: After two years it die, as a toaster oven it look like short life.Thursday, February 13, 2014

Weber 2840301 Summit S-470 Natural Gas Tuck-Away Rotisserie Grill, Stainless Steel
Key advantages:
* High-quality stainless construction. Unlike the lower-cost Weber grills and virtually *all* of the competitive alternatives, the Summit grills are made mostly of 304-grade stainless steel. This has much higher nickel content, and as a result is substantially more corrosion resistant (and more expensive). The easiest way to identify cheap stainless is that it is magnetic (so take a magnet when you compare grills). Improved corrosion resistance means that the exterior will remain beautiful for years, and the grates will last indefinitely.
* 7 independent burners on the S-470 (in addition to the side burner). Four main burners, one searing burner, one burner for the built-in stainless smoke box, and one infrared burner on the rear cover. All except the infrared burner run front-to-back. With most of them active, the grill reaches >700 degrees F in ten minutes. This provides incredible flexibility. Extremely high direct heat, completely indirect heat, crispy skin on rotisserie, lots of smoke at low heat, only part of the grill at high heat, etc... no problem. You are limited only by your imagination, not your tools.
* Extremely thick (9.5mm) grates provide excellent searing and heat retention. These work at least as well as the cast-iron grates on our old grill, but are much easier to maintain.
* High double-wall lid. This makes the grill space under the warming rack actually usable! The double-wall substantially improves performance in cold or rainy weather, and requires less gas to keep the grill hot under all conditions.
* Pop-up rotisserie. It is extremely easy to use, and quickly folds away in a weather-protected stainless pocket. Other thoughtful touches include obvious hanging storage areas for the spit and spikes in the cabinet.
* Rodent-resistant cabinet. The cabinet has double-walled doors with secure magnetic latches, lots of ventilation, and no gaping holes.
Issues:
* Very Expensive. Even on sale, the S-470 is about 3x the cost of a Genesis grill. Only you can decide if the extra flexibility is worth the extra cost. In our case I expect to get 15+ years out of this grill, and the cost is comparable to some good-quality kitchen appliances. However, the very high cost is the main reason I give this grill only 4 stars.
* Side burner has limited heat range. Presumably to prevent blow-outs that would cause safety issues, the range on the side burner is only hot to very hot. Simmering at low heat is basically impossible. For my next trick I plan to try adding a thick solid burner plate, but for now the side burner mostly does not get used.
* Lighted controls are mostly a gimmick. Fortunately they are LEDs, so corrosion should not be an issue and the batteries last for many hours. However, the lights only work on the four main burner controls, and are irritatingly bright when you happen to glance at the gap between the knob and the cabinet while reaching for the control. I added some white shrink tubing to the end of the LEDs to eliminate the latter issue, but overall the lighted controls offer limited benefit.
* Several other reviews mention a design flaw in the Summit grills which allows rainwater to flow from the back of the grill into the grease pan (making a big mess in the floor of the cabinet). Fortunately there is a simple fix. On our S-470 I put an aluminum flashing on the rear of the case using one of the bolts on each end of the grill box, similar to the way Weber handles water flow on the front. A 12" wide roll of aluminum flashing was only ten dollars at Lowes, and I cut it with scissors to fit. Now even if I forget to reinstall the cover, no water drips into the grease pan. This is not an issue with the Weber Genesis grills because the lid design is completely different (but one of the trade-offs is much lower interior space). Weber really should make something like this a running production change.
* Do *NOT* buy the Weber-brand grill cover. I like most of Weber's stuff, but their covers are very poor quality. Buy the Veranda BBQ Cart Cover instead. The 'Large' size fits the Summit 400-series perfectly, and the construction and design are far superior to the Weber covers.
Other considerations:
* These puppies use LOTS of gas! I am very glad that we were able to easily pipe natural gas to a convenient location. I can hardly imagine how fast we would be running through propane at >3x the cost!!
* If you are evaluating the stainless Genesis models, you really should consider the S-450 or S-470. The construction is substantially better and the finish will be much easier to maintain. Basically I would recommend sticking with the less expensive porcelain models, or stepping-up to the Summit grills. In addition to better materials, the front-to-back burners offer much more flexibility and control, and the side table is not covered with knobs.
* Check pricing. I buy a lot of stuff at Amazon, but we were able to find this grill for substantially (~20%) less at another reputable online vendor.
* The natural gas hose is quite thick and heavy, is apparently armored inside the PVC exterior coating, and comes with a good-quality brass 1/2" quick-disconnect. The connector on the end of the quick-disconnect is a female 1/2" IPS thread (i.e., standard steel pipe thread), so you need a male 1/2" IPS thread on the end of your supply line. Be sure to put a "O W G" (Oil/Water/Gas) rated ball valve immediately before the hose connection, and only use pipe dope or Teflon tape rated for use with gas.
* In California, galvanized pipe is *required* for outdoor gas use. According to PG&E, the western gas supply has very low levels of sulfur, so the old concerns about flaking and corrosion inside galvanized pipe are not an issue here in California.
* For rare situations where you need more grill capacity, consider the relatively inexpensive Rib-O-Lator. This is essentially a ferris-wheel with stainless trays, and will hold an amazing amount of food (and still leave parts of the grill available). There is at least one Rib-O-Lator (or Rib-O-Wheel) YouTube video with the Summit S-470, and the tall lid clearly helps. We use it mostly for ribs (surprise!), and ours fits easily inside the bottom cabinet when not in use.
* Not 100% made in USA. Several of the boxes inside the crate were clearly labeled "Made in China," including the rotisserie and both tables.
* Remove the door handles and the doors from the cabinet before removing the protective plastic coating. The doors snap-out easily if you depress the top pin, and the plastic coating is much easier to remove completely if the handles are not in the way. Each handle is held on by two Phillips-head screws and is very easy to reinstall.
* The crate weighs about 260 lbs, but if you remove the various boxes from inside the cabinet and fire-box, two people can remove the shell from the pallet. After that, you can easily roll the grill on any hard surface, and assembly is straightforward. The most tedious part of "assembly" was removing the protective plastic coating and collapsing all of the cardboard debris.
Updated July 2010
We use this grill about two or three times a week, and remain very happy. I would definitely buy this again. I've added some photos to illustrate the modifications referenced in the original review. Note that if you regularly use the smoker, the exterior stainless will inevitably get discolored near the right-side and front edges of the cover.Amazon purchased, great price and fast easy delivery. Saved a bunch on compared to a local purchase. Love the grill, directions easy to follow for assembly. Had to run to Home Depot to get an adapter for the gas connection. Note: use the right kind of thread dope for natural gas lines and get 3 AAA batteries for the handle light. Those weren't included. Total time to assemble, run to Home Depot, install and cook up some steaks 2 hours. Grill heats up nice and quick. Well worth the money.

Great Northern Popcorn Pit Popper Campfire Firepit Popcorn Popper
The popped corn was great and I will send this one back and get a replacement. I'm really hoping it's a defect in this one popper and the next one will be fine. This product has much potential to be a 5 star product. The quality of the product material, at this price point, is very good far better than others that I compared it to. E.g. I bought a unit at Walmart for about the same price, which was a piece of junk (1 star at best).
Out of the box, this unit is problematic for the following reasons:
1) The connecting point between the handle and the lid is way too loose. In fact, this caused my first batch of popcorn to fall into the fire due to the connecting point coming free and the pan falling out. Yes, I had it connected properly. My recommendation to the manufacturer would be to connect the handle to the pan rather than the lid of the pan. But even with it attached to the lid, it could still use a more precise attachment. There is just way too much slop in the fitting and the little spring steel release actually acts as a ramp for the end of the handle to slip up on and come loose. I had to modify that little spring steel part to get my handle to stay on without falling off while gently shaking it in the fire while popping corn.
2) The lid is a nice idea but it does not secure tight enough onto the pan to hold the weight under it while shaking (not too hard of course) over a flame. Mine came off while popping a batch, and I was being very careful. I had to modify all the spring clips to get them to hold, but even then, they are still not nearly as tight as they should be. The fix, of course, would be what I suggested above to have the handle attach to the pan and not the lid. It doesn't really make sense to have the lid support the weight of the pan, oil, and popping corn below it when the pan itself could be used to attach a handle.
Besides these frustrating things, I really love this concept. The extending handle, the flip lid, the quality of material, etc. are all great and if these problems were corrected by the manufacturer, I think they would have a 5-star product.
I gave it 3 stars because I still think it's a good value for this price. If you are up for a little modification, you will likely have the best open fire popper anywhere close to this price.
Just don't be too surprised if you loose your first couple batches of popcorn due to poor fit. My family got quite the laugh when they watched me attempt to make them the perfect first batch of popcorn with this thing, only to end with that perfect batch end up on fire, literally, in the coals of our campfire. Fortunately, the pan only received a small ding from hitting a rock.

NEW Oster 3-in-1 Sandwich Maker, Waffle Maker and Cooking Grill Cg120
Keep them Clean, Use Pam or equivalent when in Doubt, Use Common scene & it will last you for years.
Note; Try this for a treat; Make Waffles or Pancakes, Pour the batter & just before you close the lid, add 1 Egg to the center of the batter & or some bacon strips & Close the lid. Yum, Yum.We had an old one that was 20 years old and it finally failed. This was the only one we could find that wasn't very expensive. This product is poorly built. The trays don't fit properly and can fall out. It burns the middle and the outsides are not cooked. We returned it.

Mirro Get A Grip Aluminum Nonstick 11-Inch Griddle Cookware
Buy Mirro Get A Grip Aluminum Nonstick 11-Inch Griddle Cookware Now
We purchased this Mirro griddle to replace a similar one from the same manufacturer that had done good service for over ten years. Like most Teflon coated aluminum pans, it's best used with moderate heat. It is not suitable for searing foods a high temperature, as this can warp the cooking surface. We use this for pancakes, grilled cheese and similar sandwiches. It's not a frying pan replacement. The low lip makes turning food with a plastic spatula in a controlled manner very simple.Read Best Reviews of Mirro Get A Grip Aluminum Nonstick 11-Inch Griddle Cookware Here
I got this looking at the price since I had one before ,but this one didnt turn out as good.It warps on high heat when grilling and doesnt really serve well if you want to brown stuff...doesnt give that golden brown finish....Works well as a heating plate for pizzas and naans...
Dont buy this unless its for easy reheat stuff.

The product says it's 2 inches deep (the lip) and I do have an old one that is 2 inches deep BUT this one is like 1/2 inch lip. Very sad and disappointed. I had my old one last for years and I use it even though somethings stick to it now. Wish it would have been 2 inches like the product info stated. Bottom line, it is NOT as advertised.Friday, June 28, 2013
Steven Raichlen Best of Barbecue Wide Bamboo Grilling Kabob Skewers 6.5-inch Long, Set of 25
Buy Steven Raichlen Best of Barbecue Wide Bamboo Grilling Kabob Skewers 6.5-inch Long, Set of 25 Now
Quality bamboo packaged nicely in a reusable plastic container. Food stays put. Better than round skewers. They are short, so hold only a few pieces of food. These can be used for many purposes other than barbecue, such as plant markers. One of the big problems with barbecuing shrimp, is with most skewers that are round, is when you turn the shrimp on the barbecue, it spins. You really have to work the over to the other side to get it to cook. With these flat sided skewers, that does not happen. You turn the skewer, you turn the shrimp.Items on a skewer tend to rotate around a round skewer. A flat skewer allows you to easily turn a skewer loaded with meat over and cook it right.A cooking tip===do not mix good items on a skewer. Put onions on one, tomatoes on another, meat on another, etc. You remove them and serve them and your food will be better.
Another tip, mark the skewer for each food product and then soak it and use them over and over.
