Bene Casa 82361 sandwich press.

I realize it was only 6 bucks, but someone (or company) actually stole my money knowing full well that this product does not and could not EVER work the way it was supposed to! Even after coating both sides of the press with tons of PAM & Butter (so much that I would never even think of actually eating the sandwich), the bread still sticks to the "cheap-metal" sides like super glue! Bene Casa's sanwich press is probably the worst designed product I have ever purchased. How about using a non-stick material (teflon) to make a product that actually works as advertised.

Love the sandwich press, we take these camping and the grand kids love to make fruit pies on bread in these, would recommend these to anyone who goes camping with kids or grandkids

I first purchased one of these units in about 1947. It was my mothers money, so naturelly she had a cow for waisting all her funds. (fifty Cents). After tasting a 'pie' I made for her, she braged how I buy the cleaverest things. There was one of these toasters in my household ever sence. The one recently purchased was for my 50 year old daughter who rembers the goodies we made in her growing up years and asked us if she could have ours. I told her abloutly not. It worked OK but seems to be very cheaply made and also slightly smaller than those seen a few years ago.

I compared the cheapest price of this thing to the cheapest offer of this without the stand, it's $32. So, the ring and legs and two hooks are $32... Hmmm... From the looks of the bottom of the tripod stand, doesn't seem like a high end item, seems like a bare essentials item. But, it is designed to hold up about 100 pounds or something, so, maybe it is worth the price. But it would be nice if there a little more to it, like a ring or triangular stabilizer to set this item into, or if it came with a cheap lid, like that Garcia one.

We have used this product in our restaurant for some time. The kitchen staff loves it. Reduces their cleaning time and keeps the equipment looking like new.

This is an excellent product even if the shipping is expensive. It is very corrosive if not handled properly so therefore it is more costly to ship. It does its job extremely well.

This is a good product for removing heavy baked-on residue, but the aerosol package is the wrong delivery method. Because it is very corrosive you have to be careful not to get it on anything other than what you are cleaning and this is difficult with the spray can. Generally that means putting it on newspaper outside in order to spray it. Next time I will purchase the brush-on version which will make it much easier to use.

It would be helpful if the product information indicated, as the can does, that this is not to be used on Calphalon cookware. I'm sure I'll find some use for it, but I did buy it to remove build up on my primary cookware, which is Calphalon.

Like the "Grease Bullet" that Billy Mayes sold, the claims for this are highly overblown. I tried this out on three cleaning jobs and found it to be NO better than the spray oven cleaner from CostPlus/ I gave this a try with a French steel fry pan, a commercial aluminium saute pan and our barrel type BBQ/Smoker.

First, the can of Carbon Off I got sprayed VERy eratically and would frequently plug up, which made for a really slow process. But on the thte cleaning

The steel pan had a modest amount of carbon built up on the inside rim and a fair amount on the outside. Starting with a warm pan, I sprayed the interior and exterior, leaving the pan to sit for 8 hours before going after the crud. The result was a pretty good loosening of the stuff on the interior, even around the rivits, but it had a hard time with the material around the lip. LOTS of hand scrubbing to lift it off.

The aluminium pan was much dirtier, but came clean faster. However the botrtom, where the stuff had been baked especially hard barely moved. A real waste of time and materials.

The smoker worked the best and the Carbon off took off a lot of acumulated smoke, grease, oil, soot, and other crud.

Overall, I got 5 pans cleaned and the BBG (it is a small one) for about $13. Not a really good deal.

I have been disappointed with other cooking torches that I have purchased. They simply did not provide a flame of the proper intensity for cooking and serveral were not easy to control. I saw a chef using an Iwatani Gas Torch on a televised cooking show and I figured that if a chef uses it, that it would probably work of me. The Iwatani Gas Torch exceeded my expectations. I use the Iwatani Gas Torch often. It is especially useful finishing the surface of meat cooked sous vide or on my BBQ. I especially like being able to start and stop the Iwatani Gas Torch at will. This saves on fuel and if you turn it off, you can easily re-start it if needed. The Iwatani Gas Torch is, in my opinion, a professional grade product and like many professional grade products, it needs to be used with caution. The flame end will be hot even after a short use, so be sure to place the torch somewhere where the torch can cool to a safe temperature. The fuel canisters are available low cost in some cooking stores and the fuel canisters are available in most resturant supply stores. Because of the nature cost of shipping fuel canisters (which increases the cost), purchasing fuel canisters by mail order may not be your best option, unless you order in quantity.

I do some sous vide cooking, and to get the Mallard reaction, a quick hit with the torch does the trick, a whole lot of flame, I do not think that you are going to fine a better BTU output on any other torch.

I looked for this item for a while and then decided on the top of the line. Glad I did! Works well to sear fresh fish such as tuna, sea bass and even creme brulee... Canisters are about $1.50 at your corner Asian market.

I purchased this torch on a recommendation. This is an amazing butane torch. It puts out a really large flame when needed and can be finely adjusted. For cooking it is excellent and it also is an excellent all around torch.

These are great tongs. I bought them this summer and I use them for steaks, burgers and everything else grilled. They work great. The only annoying thing is the pull tab will slip down and lock the tong together when you are using them. Still not enough not to rank them as five stars.

This is another one of Rachel Ray's excellent products. Well worth the money! Easy to use and clean up afterward.

i've had this pan for two years and use it whenever i need to char tomatoes or anaheim chiles or cook a burger. after using it for so long, the top still looks new and still cleans up like a dream. even if i cook on the surface twice without wiping, the clean up is never a hassle. another thing i love is that there is no smoking when using the pan for a good while. sometimes the pans i have used in the past would smoke a bit, but with this one, i have never had that problem even after using it on a lower flame for over 2 hours. the handle stays cool to the touch and i could not ask for a better grill pan. with the addition of the spatula, it is a great convenience for any use whether it be for bacon, pancakes, veggies, fruit, or whatever your grilling need may be. only thing is that the packaging is so tight on the top of the pan that it leaves a weird mark where the cardboard once rested once you remove it. HOWEVER, after cooking on it a couple times and washing it, it is no longer noticeable. great griddle.

I've had this skillet for awhile now and the nonstick surface still looks great. I use it for lots of things, even though it has a shallow lip. I don't put it in the dishwasher. Would definitely buy it again.

The very best cooking pan ever. Love it. It is very well made, not too heavy or light. Cooks without sticking and very easy to clean. Highly recommend this griddle.

My first impression and thought when I looked over this fork It must have been made in China.

(although it had no evidence of origin or manufacturer)

One tine was already bent, but I straightened it up.

The wood is splintered where the stainless is sandwiched between the wood.

The wood handle couldn't be much thinner without qualifying as a paint stirrer.

I'm disappointed after thinking I was buying a grill tool worth being proud of wielding.

You can probably find better in one of those dollar stores.

NOT recommended.

Not worth the money... I threw mine away in less a year! It worked well from the beginning, then the interior of the fryer started discoloring after a while, and it was hard to clean. The temperature read out is much lower then the dial indicator. I had to use the digital thermometer whenever I used the fryer. I got so sick of it, then just threw it away and got the traditional Logic cast iron skillet. It works much better except the splashing part.
