I haven't actually bought this. I'd sure like to know the temperature it changes color at. The description had absolutely nothing to do with the product!

Charcoal Companion Non-Stick Triple Fish Grilling Basket with Rosewood Handle

Charcoal Companion Non-Stick Triple Fish Grilling Basket with Rosewood HandleDon't know what they were thinking here. The basket does not take into account the thickness of the fish, so it presses down on it really tightly, resulting in a huge mess. Tried it first with salmon steaks and did not use the clip, just let it the basket lay on the fish. It still stuck and when I removed the top of the basket the steaks shredded to pieces. Ruined $30 worth of fish. Where was the non-stick part? So next, I tried it with a thinner filet and sprayed it with PAM. Better on the unskinned side, but the skin stuck and it's a mess to clean it off. Had to soak it overnight and then pick off little shreds for about 30 minutes. I wouldn't even put this in a yard sale for a buck. It's going in the trash. Or maybe I can use it for some sort of garden tool.

We're new to grilling and tried grilling a salmon fillet without a grill basket disasterous to the fillet and even dangerous as the liquid from the fish flared on the hot coals as we tried to turn it. When we got the grill basket we saw from the illustration that this was designed for lake fish and of course we had thick swordfish steaks. With a little ingenuity and copper wire we managed to close the basket over the fish (only mashing one end of the steaks. Other than issues of size (thickness) the basket was a great success. Regarding it's being non-stick and applying oil to the basket I think you'd do better to try oil on the fish (olive oil with whatever seasonings you like.) I expect we will have many a fine lake trout or bass (or veggies) grilled in this basket. We may look for a larger basket for thicker cut seafood.

Used a few times and does save the fish from flaking apart when you turn them over, but if your good you only need to turn them over once. Cleaning is a pain, it take longer than actually cooking the fish.

We thought a bigger one would be best, but if it was a little bit smaller it wouldn't hurt. Taking the handle on and off to be able to shut the grill takes a bit of practice but works just fine.

The design holds smaller pieces, think asparagus, bell pepper strips, pretty well. We enjoy it.

I grill all year round and grill a lot of seafood. This was a wonderful buy. I use it all the time. If you clean right after using then it's not so bad otherwise there is a little sticking.

VillaWare NDVLPAPFS1-SHP Panini Grill

VillaWare NDVLPAPFS1-SHP Panini GrillI loved my first panini grill and used it frequently the first several months after purchasing it. I had high hopes that this would be large enough to fix two sandwhiches at a time as well as be easy to clean. Easy to clean is the biggest selling point with its removable trays. It even has a little drip pan which is a little hard to get to but better than putting the whole presss in the sink which I had to do with my old grill...however, this thing does not heat up as well as my older, cheaper model. And I miss the crunchy crust. Even putting the grill on high does not seem to do it...it does have a sensor to indicate when it is hot enough but it still does not do a very good job.

While most people enjoy pizza on Friday nights, we've always had Paninis. We've also gone through about 3 of them over the years. The BEST THING about the VillaWare? The grates come out for cleaning!! Yeah!! With the flick of a button, they are out and ready to be soaped up. This is a big deal if you've ever tried to clean even an "easy" panini grill after using it. Sleek and attractive, you won't mind displaying the unit either. It has a hinged press for different heights and also lays FLAT for grilling. (we haven't had this feature yet). This means you can cook burgers and veggies. Grease Drain, lid lock and power lighting so you can tell when it's heated and cooled down. The handle is large and easy to press. Nice item!

VillaWare's new multi-purpose griller is a quality product that works well for creating a tasty grilled sandwich. Heavy duty and deluxe looking, it has lots of good features, including large non-stick surfaces, pans that come off for cleaning, a hidden drip pan, an easy to use dial, and a tubular handle that is far enough from the heat when you use it.

The outer and inner surfaces of the product are nice. They all wipe clean with ease, and though the grill surfaces inside have to be scrubbed, the non-stick surface and the fact they can be removed helps tremendously. The lock works well on the cover as does the mechanism to open and close the unit. The inside holds three large sandwiches and four burgers or chicken pieces without crowding. Unlike other grillers I have used, this one is easy to hold down with its substantial handle and seems to compress well. The heating and cooking times both seem reasonable and in line with other products I have used (5 mins to heat up to medium temperature, about 5 minutes to grill an average sandwich.)

A few things I would mention on the negative side are its size and the short cord. Being large is probably great for cooking, but it's a big item to leave out on the counter, so it's necessary to find a fairly large storage space. As for the cord, it is only about 18 inches long, so it need to be close to an outlet. Additionally, the included manual only tells you how to use the device and includes no recipes or cooking instructions -and points to VillaWare's website which has very little details. These are minor complaints, however, since the machine seems to be deluxe in most ways. I would recommend it if you like grilled food.

Once I got this thing figured out, we have been getting consistently delicious pannini. Things to consider: 1) Set the temp to high and forget it, 2) If you make thicker sandwiches, you need to be careful placing the lid on top (swivel it up from the back hinge and carefully use a spatula to keep the sandwich from moving forward on the grill). The trick is to get the top to sit parallel with the bottom on top of the sandwich. I am glad the grill plates are removable, because the plates need cleaning after every use. I gotta say though, this thing makes great sandwiches!

What a great kitchen appliance. It is simple and intuitive to use, heats up and cooks very quickly and evenly, and produces a perfect Panini. Best of all, it's a cinch to clean. Just pop off the plates and stick 'em in the dishwasher and a quick wipe down. Worth an extra few dollars for the quality features. I just got this so I haven't tried it yet for grilling, but I bet it would work great for that, too....and now an update....perfect for grilling hotdogs. Takes up very little counter space as you can store vertically. Still love it.

Charcoal Companion Ultimate Grill Basket with Rectangular Head

Charcoal Companion Ultimate Grill Basket with Rectangular HeadI used this product one time -grilled fish. It worked very well. The fish was cooked to perfection. The removeable handle worked well.

However, when I started to clean the basket, after only one use, the black nonstick surface began to flake and come off. Mind you, I didn't srub or use harsh products. The nonstick surface came off with a little Sunlight soap and a sponge. I can't use it again because the surface comes off in the water, on the sponge, and on your hands. I'm sure that it will come off on your food.

If you don't mind disposable kitchen tools, buy this product.

The basket is good for grilling but it is difficult getting the tongs into the grooves in the basket, particularly when one is standing over an open flame.

This basket worked well for cooking some shrimp and vegetables together...I like it...it's useful. And the fact that you can close the grill (by removing the handle) is great too.

Read Best Reviews of Charcoal Companion Ultimate Grill Basket with Rectangular Head Here

While detachable handle is a very good idea, the tension mechanism works backwards. As it is, the handle must be held at all times or it pops off. Were it to fit INSIDE the holder, the tension would hold it in place until you wanted to release it. The depth of the basket cannot be adjusted for different thickenesses of meats/fish/veggies/etc. Locking mechanism to hold the basket together is awkward to release when the basket is hot. The nonstick finish is a plus. All in all, I will continue to use my old broken down basket that has an adjustable lid, handles that stay put until I want to remove them and a lid which is very easy to remove when it is hot from the grill.

I love to grill fish on my Weber gas grill. The only problem is that all of the grilling baskets have these long handles on them so that you can not close the grill cover. Or, if you can close the cover the handle gets too hot to touch without mits on. This is finally what I have been searching all of Houston for. I hope it comes in soon so that I can start grilling fish again.

Cuisinart GC-15 Griddler 1000-Watt Compact Grill Centro

Cuisinart GC-15 Griddler 1000-Watt Compact Grill CentroThis will cook everthing you want for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is an amazing appliance that I use all the time.

I bought this grill because when weather is not so good I can't travel with my family to the barbeque park that involves a lot to make barbeque for 2 kids, someone has to watch them while I'm cooking.

I live in apartment, so this was the best option for me to get electric grill.

I buy marinated chicken and lamb in the Russian store in Brooklyn because till now, I couldn't marinate meat in a way that they do it in my store making meat so tender and soft.

Now, let's review the product itself. It is good when you use a pan on top rather than skewers for meat.

What I'm trying to say here is that meat rolls over when skewers are rolling because skewers are so thin and would rotate within the meat that causes meat not to be rolled, the only way around it to cut meat in a longer way and thinner because weight causes meat to roll over the skewers, I wish skewers were wider than they're that would make meat roll with them.

Sometimes, I would cook my meat on the top pan that works great as well.

As for the hot-dogs, can't say anything since I have not tried to make them, but I believe that this part will work.

My only negative is narrow skewers if you understand what is happening with my meat, I wish them to be wider to hold meat when rolling, not roll by itself leaving meat not rolling against heater.

these skewers may be good when you use them for vegatables, but it is not for me.

We are having a lot of fun with this item. It is so versatile, we find ourselves make up recipes to try just to use one or the other part of grill/griddle. We bought shrimp, beef tender loin for kabobs, weiners, veggies, etc to play. The grill is perfect to fry bacon with both of our bacon presses. Perfect bacon.

Vornado 630B Whole Room Air Circulator

Vornado 630B Whole Room Air CirculatorI'm very familiar with Vornado products and have been using one of their room humidifiers and one of their quiet room heaters for 5 years or more. Vornado is a manufacturer that designs and renders things the right way. The Vornado 630B 3 Speed Mid Size Air Circulator does the work of much larger fans but with a minimum of noise. I know this to be a fact since a short time ago my wife bought two other well known fans at a local store and brought them home. The vornado moves as much air as the other brands Large "Industrial" use fan and obviously at a much quieterlevel. I literally had to turn on the "closed captioning" on my tv when the other brand was running in the farthest back room! And obviously not enjoying much of the fan effect from so far away. The Vornado sits slightly to one side of our entertainment center and about 6 feet away from the user. You can use it on low and it's whisper quiet with a nice directed air pattern. The Vornado 630B 3 Speed Mid Size Air Circulator is adjustable of course, not only three different speeds but it can be aimed in a very wide range of direction including straight up for general room circulation. There are no knobs to tighten and you can accomplish the easy adjustment with a gentle push or pull in the direction needed. The fan is also easily cleaned of dust since the blade cover comes off the fins can be wiped down with just a damp cloth, cover replaces easily without tools and after plugging back in , you're up and running quickly.

I also found that the price was just a few dollars difference from the less versatile fan and the Vornado that is ideal. That to me more than justifies the price. We took the other fan back and have happily been using our Vornado product since.

John Row

I really liked it at first.

Talk about moving some air. Worked great for a bit, then the rattling started. First only on the highest setting, then eventually made it down to the lowest. It started out as a vibration then became an off beat clicking. Seems to come from the motor or near it. Drove my wife crazy, light sleeper.

So I exchanged it, and it worked great for a time. Then it started to vibrate, and eventually the same clicking. Frustrated, I went to a local store this time, instead of exchanging it online again and bought a different vornado model. Worked great at first, then after a few days developed the clicking sound again. It isn't the blade hitting anything, if I had my guess I would guess the powerful motor throwing something balance.

Bought that back to the store, exchange. Fourth unit now, quiet stable, I was finally happy. What a great fan.

Last night it started again, all I could do is groan. click, click..space.. click..click..click.. Ack.

Brought it back..

I won't give it less than three stars, the clicking can be lived with. It is pronounced and not timed so it stands out. Not good for a light sleeper but if you can live through offbeat sounds, your good. Other than that, seems solid.

Too bad, I read so many good things about Vornado, I was pumped to get a high quality fan and was willing to pay. They start out really quiet, so if you can get it to stay that way, you will be happy.

I do not have AC and was looking for a fan that circulated air better than the standard fan. After testing out a few models, I found that this model of the Vornado produced a noticeably cooler room. I like the slowest speed in that it is very quiet and hardly noticeable.

This fan is great! I bought it for my daughter's un-airconditioned college dorm room that was sweltering in September in the Southern U.S. This fan can really move the air and it is really quiet for sleeping. The competitive brands can't touch it. Don't buy an imitation. This is the real deal and worth every penny!

Want Vornado 630B Whole Room Air Circulator Discount?

I am now on my fourth Vornado brand fan in the house I have had them for nearly 10 years, and have found them to be long-term reliable and probably the best fans I've ever owned.

Vornado makes quite a variety of fans, ranging from industrial models that you can put in a garage (which I have), down to smaller kitchen fans that are a bit louder but still put out just as much airflow as the more powerful models.

Two of my Vornado fans have run 24 hours a day for more than 3 years, with regular cleaning of the grill and air intake. So as far as brand value and quality, you can't get much better.

This specific 630B 3-speed fan is one of their mid-size models. It sits firmly on the floor with a large base, and the control knob is conveniently located on the side of base to fan arm. There are only three speed levels on this fan, vs. some of their other models that feature a steady dial giving you complete flexibility from off to high.

If I had to give this fan a "noise rating" the low setting is completely unnoticeable after a few minutes and blends into the background this is the setting I leave it on 24-hours a day. But if you want to move air rapidly, just move it up to medium or high and the noise level increases moderately (but I don't leave it on that setting after I have the temp where I want it).

For home use I recommend pointing this fan into areas where the a/c or furnace might not have the best coverage. You can save a lot of energy in heating/cooling your home due to the distance these fans can move air. Down a long hallway you can feel a strong blast of wind from this fan even on the lowest setting.

Highly recommended don't be afraid of the price, because you're going to have this fan for a long time to come with minimal cleaning. Snapping the front and back grill off is easy, and you can just vacuum out the dust that will gather after prolonged use. All four of my Vornados have lasted a minimum of 4 years with almost constant use, even in very dusty (garage) conditions.

Enjoy your new fan!

Sportsman CICS8 8-Piece Cast Iron Outdoor Cookware Set With Carrying Bag

Sportsman CICS8 8-Piece Cast Iron Outdoor Cookware Set With Carrying BagSo yeah, I did get the set, it came in a very cool bag that is sturdy and has a specific place for each piece which is awesome. My problem though in pulling out the cast iron is it's soooo rough! It's so rough you can't wipe it down with a paper towel w/o pieces getting stuck into it, same with a towel, covered in fuzz! Soo, I'm going to use 80, then 120, then 220 sandpaper and get these smoothed out then re-season on low in the oven a few times and see if I can get these to be more usable. I bought these to avoid this process with used pans, by the way, so I'm not happy about it. I'm sure after a little (or a lot) of elbow grease and some constant use these will be fine. But still, be warned, these aren't your grandma's quality cast iron pans. If this is to be a camping set for infrequent use then this might be the set for you, but if you're looking for a nice set to keep forever and use daily, keep looking.

She love's it and it was pre-seasoned,ready to use,Loved the carry-bag.It was best value I found while searching.Dutch oven was bigger than most sets+ extras.
