Mr. Bar B Q 06131P Pizza Stone Set

I received this set as a gift, and I LOVE it. Thus far, we've only used the stone in the oven. It makes frozen pizza into awesome fresh pizza put frozen pizza on the cold stone, turn the oven to 425, and wait. About ten minutes after the oven comes to temperature, my pizza is done. The crust is crunchy without being burned, and the top is sizzling.

Great stone, great set! The huge spatula is also fabulous. Really sturdy handle, can pick up an entire large pizza with no issues.

I had high hopes for this grill brush as it had the scraper to get burnt remains out between the grates and it appeared to be well made with a real metal hanging ring and Bamboo handle. It wasn't long before I realized that this brush wasn't going to cut it. It's handle is way too short to use on a hot grill but I'd thought I'd keep it anyway as I would try not to get burned because it just wasn't worth returning. Well then I tried it on the grill and realized the bristles are too short to clean the full length of the grates! When I compared the bristles to my $3.00 version I saw why it didn't reach the bottom of the grate. It's bristles were about 1/8-1/4 of an inch shorter than my old HD special. That was the straw that got me to send it back as it is worthless in my opinion except to hang it by the grill to just look good.

Arrived on time and in excellent condition..Just what I expected and wanted. Good quality with sturdy construction that will be durable and serve well for many years.

This mat is not for use with charcoal grills, only gas grills. There is a small warning on the back of the box that says sparks or coals may burn or melt the product. I will have to return it and find another mat.

***Here's an update...I did return this item for a refund with Amazon. It only took a few minutes and the online return center was a breeze. I give the return a 5-star.

This thing barely lasted one season; it started rotting and falling apart around the edges before it even had any wet weather anywhere near it. Very unhappy customer here.

It's actually a nice mat, but where I live it is very windy. Whatever part doesn't have the grill on it, blows up in the air. It also holds water (but not horrible). So, for the price, it's not bad. Just nothing special

Emeril Cast Iron 10-Inch Square Grill Pan

This grill pan made my turkey burgers taste as though I had grilled them outdoors.

I have been looking for an alternative to the lightweight grill pans (which end up losing their coating and subsequently start sticking) and my George Foreman grill (which is an older model and so frustrating to clean because of the non-removable grills) and decided to try Emeril's grill pan. I just finished my first experiment with it....simple grilled chicken breasts.....and I have to say I am thrilled with the pan. I have a ceramic cooktop and the grill heated up very nicely so that when I put the chicken breasts into the pan, they immediately started to sizzle. The chicken did not stick at all and came out beautifully with perfect grill marks on each side. I am still letting it cool off since it retains its heat for a long time, so can't report on the cleaning process, but it says to wash with hot water only and a stiff brush. The only downside is the weight of the pan, but that's to be expected from any cast iron pan. In my younger days it wouldn't have mattered but I have to use two hands to lift the pan comfortably...not a big deal!

We live out in the extreme desert and in the summer months I can't barbecue outside. I bought this for use inside for steaks other grilled foods and I am very pleased with my purchase.

This cast iron grilling-cooking pan is terrific! Received it as a bonus gift and love it. In our home, we've cooked with cast iron all of our lives and this is THE BEST cast iron skillet I've used.

Pros: Wavy grill bottom to pan that creates grill marks using indoor heat source and creates more surface for other dishes--just cooked cornbread dressing in the pan and it browned dressing nicely

Cleans up easily--it was no problem to clean the first time, although I did "season it" before first use

Cons: Very heavy skillet which is bulky to handle and clean

Dense, so the heating time is longer that thinner cast iron skillets and may take longer overall for your recipe to cook

I first saw these many, many years ago by watching the cooks in Chinese take-out places. At the end of cooking dish A, they throw this into the wok, pressing it down with the back of a ladle, and then using the combination to quickly scrub out the wok before moving on to dish B. Note that they come in two sizes; you want this, the Jumbo.

This baby is awesome! Everything else I have used to date degrades over time, and leaves rust stains behind on the sink in the process. This pad is not only holding tough after 3 months (as far as I can tell it hasn't degraded at all), but was also able to clean the rust spots left behind by the others.

This simple gauge solves the problem of knowing how much propane is in the tank before you start grilling. It solves the problem of running out of gas right in the middle of the barbecue. Unlike other systems involving pouring hot water on the tank to see where the level of gas is, this give you a precise indication. Once you have grilled a few times, you get the feel for how much gas it takes and can then guess if there is enough for the next time or if you need to refill the tank. Installation is as simple as attacing the guage to the tank and the regulator hose to the guage. No tool sare needed adn the guage can easily be transferred to other tanks to check thier levels. The needle immediately indicates the level in the tank. The device is simple and rugged enough to withstand a bit of harsh handling.

This product seems to do exactly as it is supposed to. I like the saftey feature and especially knowing when I need to refill propane, rather than running out during a cook out.

Bought two of these. On one the face plate to the guage cracked releasing gas. The other completely blew the face off leaking gas. These are hazzardous.

Gas is getting trapped in the mechanism. Gas still flows, but the gauge is stuck on full. Might be the tank. I don't know. It also seems to have an emergency shut-off valve. If you turn on the burners too quickly after turning on the propane tank, you will have no or restricted flow. You need to wait about 10 seconds between turning on the propane and turning on the burners. After having this for 6 months, it is a real pain. I would definitely try something else.

It's simple, place your hand flat on the side of the tank. Remember your hand has to be perfectly flat on the side of the tank as close to the middle as you can get, not the top or bottom. Now carefully monitor the gauge as the propane is flowing into the barbecue and for safety be sure stand as far away as possible from the hot barbecue. I'd normally give this thing 5 Stars but I noticed this safety gauge has no electrocardiogram EKG or ECG functionality included so I docked it one star..

As a bonus, if you interpret the reading correctly it will also check the flatulence level in your gas system. What more can you ask for a product under 20 bucks?

Progressive International BBQ Grill Brush

I purchased this item based on a recommendation from a Today Show segment on BBQing, it was touted as the best grill brush they had ever used. I bought 2 and they are average at best compared to less expensive brushes.

Not all that effective. The 3 parallel scrubbers are handy, but they bend pretty easily.

You will note that this and lots of other brushes have a metal bar supposedly for cleaning grids. I have Weber stainless grids and none of the bars were long enough to scrape crud off the entire height of the grids until I found this. I works great at cleaning the entirety of the grid as well as the main brush which does a good job on the top surface. Only drawback is the length of the handle which should be longer.

I like this grill brush a lot. It does a good job and doesn't take up a whole lot of room in the drawer. I like the three side brushes for getting the crud from the sides and bottom of the grate.
