I received this set as a gift, and I LOVE it. Thus far, we've only used the stone in the oven. It makes frozen pizza into awesome fresh pizza put frozen pizza on the cold stone, turn the oven to 425, and wait. About ten minutes after the oven comes to temperature, my pizza is done. The crust is crunchy without being burned, and the top is sizzling.

Great stone, great set! The huge spatula is also fabulous. Really sturdy handle, can pick up an entire large pizza with no issues.

When I was browsing kitchen utensils and came across this specialty pancake turner I was immediately taken aback by the price. Still, I wanted a pancake turner, burger turner, grilled cheese sandwich turner, etc. and this utensil looked like it would fit the bill. Upon arrival, I immediately washed it in the dishwasher and I was pleased that all of the steel in it was indeed, stainless. Several uses since that time has yielded zero rust spots. The handle is of a quality wood and copper rivet construction(or copper-colored stainless rivets). My fiancee enjoys using this utensil to assist her when she stir fries vegetables. Although this utensil is a bit pricey, considering the amount of stainless steel that is in it, I will buy another one in 5-10 years when this one breaks. There are certainly utensils which are a much worse value than this one.

This spatula is just what the doctor ordered, well made and substantial. It being the right size to pick up and turn over a large pancake in a skillet, it fills the bill. If there is any negative about it, unless the skillet is flat-like (a cast iron or other type that has virtually no sides) or a super extra large frying pan, it is difficult, due to its size, to get the spatula underneath the item you want to turn over. One other note: if used for turning pancakes, it is best to spray the spatula with cooking oil at the same time one sprays their skillet in order to facilitate the turner sliding completely under the pancake without the pancake sticking to it. Of course, it being metal, this turner is not for use with one of those non-stick/coated frying pans.

This is a great turner for steaks and other large items, but too thick and clumsy for pancakes. It also shines as a self-defense weapon.

Well-built in true Lamson Sharp tradition, but it is just so big. I get way more use out of the flared turner. I must mention that these can go into the dishwasher with no adverse effect. Awesome utensil, just too big for my needs.

Sachi Fashion Insulated Lunch Bag

You just can't live in NYC and bring lunch to work in a plastic bag! I searched the web for a practical yet fashionable lunch bag, stumbled over this, and am so glad I did.

It carries like a small laptop bag, doesn't look wide but has plenty of room inside, and the little ice pack kept my food chilly all day through! My only small complaint is that the second zippered compartment is very narrow; I've started using it just to pack tea bags and water flavoring and it works perfectly for that.

For an example on the roominess inside for lunch everyday, I usually pack a sandwich, plastic bag of crackers, a couple triangles of Laughing Cow cheese, an apple, banana, and my water bottle without anything getting smooshed. I've also used the Fit & Fresh Lunch on the Go sandwich box in this, and while it's a little tight, it fits.

This bag is perfect.... and it looks great! Can hold as much as 2 full meals and some snacks, and stays cold all day long. I've read where some people here say it doesn't keep food cold. Wrong. It DOES keep food cold! You simply have to stick the bag in the fridge (or freezer) for a while to activate the insulation. I love this bag so much, I plan to buy another one in a different design to switch off.

This bag is so cute! I was very impressed by the size and quality of these bags. Due to some of the other reviews I was worried I would not be able to fit my tupperware medium deep square rock n serve containers in it plus the rest of my lunch. You do have to tip them slightly to get them in but they fit just fine. I did have to lay my water bottle on it's side (due to the height) but there was still plenty of room left over. I fit lunch, my water and a lot of snacks no problem. The bag is well worth the price as they are really well-made. Sturdy handles and good zippers-it does not feel cheap. I do put a thin ice pack in the bottom to keep things extra cold. I'm not sure the outside will be as easy to clean as it stated since it is nice fabric but you never know. I haven't gotten mine dirty yet. The inside is that "tin foil looking" insulation that wipes off well. Over all I find it is a great bag. I have never paid almost $20 for a lunch bag and my co workers thought I was nuts too until they saw it-now they all want one! I actually bought 2 !!!

The Sachi Fashion Insulate Lunch Bag, Black Quilted was exactly what I needed. It doesn't look like I'm off to class in grade school and the insulation makes carrying food in fluctuating weather an ease. Bayou Classics Cast Iron Covered Skillet - 3 qt.

They don't make cast-iron like they used to, but this skillet is great. It comes unseasoned, but that's easily remedied. First, wash the new skillet with soap and water to remove the packing wax. Then buy a small tub of pure lard (don't use thin oil), wipe it all over the inside and outside of the skillet (except for the very bottom), put it on a cookie sheet right-side-up and bake it at 200 degrees for 3 hours (the lower temp for a longer time allows it to penetrate better). Wipe out the excess oil, then when completely cool, wipe it again, and you're done! I store my oil in it and just scrape the bottom clean before each use (to remove old batter pieces that will burn). I have one deep skillet for frying fish and another for chicken and pork steaks. Remember to never use soap on cast iron or it will rust and you'll have to season it all over again -use your stove heat to kill the germs. There are care instructions included with the skillet.

cast iron cooking is the absolute best.....smothered steak is absolutely devine cooked in a cast iron skillet. I enjoy this one but I have to say there are rough edges on it...not nearly like the cast iron they used to make ten years ago. But it does make one mighty good smothered steak.

The only caution I would offer is: This is NOT a pre-seasoned pan!! You will have to season it yourself. I didn't realize this when i purchased this skillet. I enjoyed the process of seasoning it, so i didn't mind, but it caught me off guard.

IRON PANS ARE GREAT, BUT THIS PAN WASN'T SEASONED PROPERLY. IT SEAMS AS IF THEY RUBBED SOME GREASE ONTO IT, AND CALLED IT SEASONED. I EVEN PLACED THE PAN IN THE OVEN TO HELP SEASON IT MORE, AND ALL I GOT WAS A LOT OF SMOKE IN MY HOUSE. IT TOOK HOURS TO GET THE SMOKE OUT.

I ALSO FIND THAT THEY RUST VERY EASILY. MY OLD, OLD PAN WORKS PERFECTLY. I WIPE IT OUT WITH A DAMP DISH TOWEL, USE A PAPER TOWEL TO DRY IT, AND IT IS READY TO USE.

Steven Raichlen Best of Barbecue Forged Stainless and Packwood Spatula

This is a good, heavy-duty spatula for turning burgers and other large pieces of meat, which is what I bought it for. One disadvantage is that the care instructions say it is not dishwasher safe since the handle is made of wood, hence the four star rating. This was not mentioned in the product description.

Another consideration: You must be sure there is enough vertical clearance above the cooking surface for the wide blade to be able turn the meat. My BBQ has a shelf above that I have to remove when using this spatula, not a big deal.

This spatula is deceiving in the picture. It was even better when it arrived. The wood on the handle is beautiful, it is very long and very sturdy. If you are looking for a well balanced, sturdy spatula that is long enough not to burn the hair on your forearms, this is the one. It is a bit on the heavy side, but again it is well balanced. This thing compliments the Steve Raichlen tongs perfectly. But it, you won't regret it.

It's a heavy, forged good looking spatula. I'd "flip" my rating to a 4 but the "SW" logo was shipped loose in the box. I glued it back on. We'll see how Gorilla Glue holds up. The wood handle is pretty, but in my opinion, it should be redesigned with a more durable, dishwasher safe material. Then, it would be a 5.

Follow up:

I've used the spatula many times now and love it's flip-ability. The balance, weight and shape is great. Giving it one more star for function.

I have not used it yet but the construction of this spatula is impressive. It is made of heavy gauge stainless with a very large surface area. It is square in shape and about 6"x6" going of the top of my head (Im at work as I write this don't have it for exact measurement ). I cannot imagine anything this thing could'nt flip unless you're in the habit of cooking cement blocks. It looks great and judging by the apparent quality it should last for years.

The handle is a bit rough, the stainless steel is not even with the plastic portion of the handle. It's not sharp but it doesn't feel good in your hands. The surface was double stamped so there are marks on the spatula face the QC is not very high.

They are okay and i'll use them but unless you grill larger heavy foods these are a bit excessive.

I just built a beast of a PC for my wife's video editing and despite some negative discussion from some of the geek forums, I read reviews about this product and decided to buy it. Here's why:

This PSU is highly reviewed on tigerdirect.com because it features high amps to all the necessary rails, unlike some PSUs that might sound more powerful (like 1000Watt) but don't give a strong, quality supply of power. Strong, even, ripple free power is essential to ensure that your components work in a stable manner and this supply delivers.

I like the large fan arrangement as her previous PC overheated like crazy, but this PSU is both cool and quiet, even under load.

But the best part about it is the fact that it's modular. That means that inside your PC, you only plug in the cables that you need to power components. The forum geeks told me that I would end up using them all anyway, but with video card, 3 hard drives, optical drives, a bunch of fans etc, there are still a whole lot of cables I didn't use and which don't clutter up the box, restricting airflow and keeping things hot. With the modular set up, the inside of the case is clear of unnecessary wires and airflow is great as a result.

Finally, the forum geeks told me that if you have sockets and plugs at the PSU end, that these could be future failure points, so they'd prefer not to use modular PSUs. This is crazy, as this PSU uses heavy duty Molex plugs. These same plugs are used on race cars, which are subject to far higher heat, stress and movement. Unless you're driving your PC around the track, those connectors will stay solidly connected.

Finally, it looks good. It's kind of a black chrome (not black and white like it looks in photos) and the cables are all low profile and black. Plus, they are of significant enough gauge wire that they stay where you bend them, making cable management easy and attractive.

I'm very happy so far. I think you will be too.

The main reason I got this product was the modular design. Works great. Although I had some fears, 600W provides more than enough juice for a bunch of components I ended up installing 2HD's, 3 CD/DVD drives, hungry video card, several PCI cards, Quad CPU, 3GB RAM and a whole bunch of USB devices.

I had previously purchased another power supply to power my EVGA Nvidia 8800GT to help prevent crashes to my system. There must have been a glich in that power supply that kept burning out the video card. Since the card had a lifetime warranty (luckily), I had gone through three of them before I realized it might have been the power supply since none of this started happening until the new PSu was installed. I was at first kind of aprehensive to get this one because of cost mainly, but thought that fewer cables in the case would be a plus also. I am more than pleased that I took the plunge to shell out the extra cash for this one. It seemed to solved all the problem I've had in the past as well as causing my latest upgraded EVGA 250GTS, which had also quit working with the other PSu to start working again with no problems whatsoever.
