I purchased 3 such grills to be able to turn out waffles quickly for family, using them one after the other.

The waffles turned out so so; not fluffy as shown in the picture. I am comfortable with the electric models which turn them out a bit slower but much much more fluffy and delicious.

Disappointed, but that's life.

NEEDS ALOT MORE WORK....ONLY COOKS ONE SIDE.

ONE SIDE HAS THE PATTERN BUT THE OTHER DOES NOT.

I MAKE THEM AND THEN HAVE TO PUT THEM IN THE TOASTER.

Sandwich Maker

We use this to make burritos, it works great! :) Also would work well for grilled cheese and the like :)

Used it only twice so far, so treat it as initial feel. But though that's the case, don't want hold on to feedback. Simply great! It is efficient, and roasts the bread not too light, not too brown or black. That resulted into a great taste for sandwiches (not to take away my wife's credit for making tasty fillings :) ).

Now, we are planning to have frequent lunches and dinners on sandwiches, breakfasts are given!!

Makes great sandwiches, wife makes toasted peanut/jelly in it and said they are super. No butter or spray needed. Was worth every penny. The spot to stash the cord away is very nice, don't have to wrap it around the device and hope it stays.

I bought this for parents in law and they simply loved it. It's very easy to use and clean and also its a non stick based. Sometimes you just need a cheap but good product for your relatives. I bought this little over month ago and it does the job really well.

The issues I have with this unit are true of most of the similar products so not really a reflection on the product itself. That said, the closing clip is flimsy and will be lucky to last a week without breaking and an on-off switch would be nice. It does the job though.

Steven Raichlen Best of Barbecue Insulated Food Gloves, Pair

I can't believe these gloves haven't been reviewed by anyone else yet! I've had mine for a year now and they are absolutely great for handling hot foods. I use them for pulling pork butt or moving hot chicken from the grill (or oven) to the cutting board (and then to hold onto it while carving it). When I can't smoke pork butt outside in the winter, I do pulled pork in my crockpot and with these gloves I can shove my hands right into the scalding liquid of the crockpot to remove the butt and then pull it apart. Another great feature is when you clean them, you just leave them on and wash your hands with soap and water under the faucet. I think they're great!

I do quite a bit of smoking meat and they do well with the heat issue but they are very slippery so handling greasy meat is not easy plus they stain. I throw them in the washing machine but some stains stay on them. I would not think you could use these on high heat grilling jobs but for real BBQ low and slow they work OK.

I just purchased similar gloves from TexasBBQrub and they are black so won't show stains as bad and they are textured so not as slippery and they cost the same as these.

I didn't even know a product like this existed until seeing it on Raichlen's TV show. Before I had this, I would try to get all the meat off a freshly smoked chicken using bare hands, knives, and forks, which was an uncomfortable mess. With the insulated gloves, I can now just shred away and not burn my fingers. The outside of the gloves clean up instantly, too. The only downside is if you get food inside the glove by accident; cleaning that out can be a pain.

These are a great pair of BBQ gloves. I've used them a few times on some things that I've cooked and while they work great I have found couple problems with them. One, they are a little big for my hands. I have medium to large size hands that these gloves are a little big in the fingers. Not usually a problem but it would be nice if they did fit a little better. The other complaint I have is that the material they are made out of is kinda stiff. Again, not a major problem but it would be nice if they were not quite as stiff. If I had to do it all over again I would probably still buy these even with the two minor problems.

These gloves served their purpose where cloth/leather gloves were just not adequate. To put them to the test, I used them with my propane grill rotisserie. I could hold the hot metal shaft, unscrew the prongs holding the meat, and then slide the meat off onto a platter, neatly. The glove wasn't affected, and they are easy to clean. I'd give it five stars-but they are just a bit bulky-one size fits all; that and I'd expect them to keep my beer cold to earn five stars.

Cuisinart Fish and Vegetable Turner

Got this on a whim as a birthday present for my husband, who loves low-tech grilling but has occasionally complained about the messiness in grilling fish, which we both love. He also sometimes has trouble scooping up the halved onions and tomatoes we grill in the small spaces around meat or fish. To my surprise, he was absolutely thrilled when he opened this. He hefted it in his hand several times, turning it around in the air to feel the balance. I hefted it myself and was immediately pleased with how well it fitted in the hand, how the tool felt like an extension of my arm rather than an awkward thing you have to manoeuver with effort. It has since helped him turn a huge halibut steak successfully, increasing the amount that made it to our plates instead of through the grill onto the wood chips. He got a few other Cuisinart grilling tools at the same time and was heard bragging over the phone to his buddy "yeah, but mine are really substantial -they're heavy and still very easy to hold and to use -these are much better". But he freely admits that this one is his favorite.

Do try this and the other Cuisinart grilling tools -I think you'll find that their substantial and ergonomically-designed aptitude for the job makes them a delight.

We bought this form a local hardware store chain Menards $99.99 every day price.

ours is black, which we like because so is our iron deck furniture. so it matches nicely.

it looks good sitting on the deck. up close, when putting it together, you see some flaws. little nicks here and there, the weld where the side meats the bottom. also the protective loop does not align very well. I got picky and spent a lot of time bending it here and there to make it fit tight and flush. had to do the same with the spark screen thing too. as it was so out of round, it woudl not fit on at first.

One thing, at the end of the instructions, just when you are getting excited to fire it up, they tell you to add 5lbs of sand to the bottom. the reason being, to help insulated the surface below(grass, deck, etc) from the heat, and to keep the ash form corroding the bottom of the fire pit. DARN! I wish it said make sure to buy 5lbs of sand while I was buying it at the store! now I got to go get sand.

also, do not leave it in the rain, do not allow it to fill with water as it may shorten its life corrosion again. I think they need to anodize these things! so make sure you cover it, or put it away, out of the rain.

nice thing, it has a nice grill, as in you can use it to cook on with the supplied grill rack. Nice! and it also has a spark screen and a poker/handle to remove a hot screen with. a lot of fire pits do not include them.

I settled on this Landmann Big Sky Fire Pit based on looks and due to many great reviews. To all of you that took the time to review, thank you!

This is my first fire pit for family use.

Pros

1) All needed accessories included (minus consumables such as sand and logs)

2) Beautiful appearance

3) Grill rack is actually functional

4) Rail protects burning from bumping against it, which is likely will happen eventually specially with kids roasting marshmallows. The sides do get hot so be careful.

5) The rails function as a handle to manipulate during cleaning

Cons

1) The pieces that make up the protective rail did not fit properly. Attached to each other made almost a circle, but not quite (symmetrical) and after much trial an error ended up wrestling to line up the screw holes.

2) The legs were not painted on the inside making them prone to rust

3) The paint on the inside bottom came off exposing the base metal after just the first use. I used plenty of play sand and only three logs leading me to believe the paint is not heat resistant; I did paint the interior with heat-resistant paint as another reviewer advised, but on top of the original; save a trip to the hardware store and get that quart can of paint rather than the spray can.

The family and I enjoyed it and definitely recommend to anyone in suburbia that wants to spend some time together around a fire.

I love this fire pit.It holds lots of logs.The rustic design fits nicely in my wooded setting. .It gives the feeling of a real camp fire.I love the celestial cut outs.I have a portable charcoal grill that I set into the pit when I want to cook a small amount.When cooking is done I dump the charcoal into the pit,add kindling and logs and enjoy toasting marshmellows around the "camp fire".

After all the amazing reviews for this thing, I gladly bought it and couldn't wait to use it for the first time. Well, after just 1 fire, I went to clean it up in the morning and to my surprise the Georgia Clay finish is peeling all over the stars and moons. It's completely flaking off! Not everywhere, but apparently one spot that didn't get good "heat resistant" paint coverage.

Disappointed and upset, I took a photo and went to Landmann's website for an email or phone number. I found an email and sent the details of my purchase from Amazon and the photo of the flaking paint. Here is their exact response. "All of the fire pits will peel after use, the paint is a heat resistant paint but no paint will hold up to the heat of a fire. The only thing you could do is sand off the area and repaint it with a heat resistant paint. Again this will not last when this is used."

SO BE WARNED, THEY SAY THE PAINT WILL NOT LAST. I replied and told them I realize nothing can withstand fire over a long period of time, but after 1 use?? Come on. I'll submit my photo on Amazon for all to see.

If you dont care about the paint, then it's a nice firepit that is a little hard to fit together during assembly, but other than that, serves its purpose of containing a fire.

UPDATE: The customer service department informed me that their "paint is good to 1000 degrees." So I went to Autozone and bought "Rust-Oleum 248903 Automotive 12-Ounce High Heat 2000 Degree Spray Paint, Flat Black" to coat the firepit. This should be the standard paint they use to begin with. Oh well, at least future buyers who read this will know!

I recently purchased this item and it was wonderful! I actually only used one of them because I can't imagine I'd ever reach under the bottom rack for anything because there is nothing down there to touch. NEVER EVER EVER leave the guard in the oven during the cleaning cycle though. I totally forgot it was there and I did leave it in. It made the biggest mess I have ever seen! My entire oven was white and it looked like someone blew in cotton candy! It wasn't too horrible to clean up, but nothing I'd want to do again. It took a vacuum cleaner and lots of sprayed in water and a lot of scrubbing.

These are worth their weight in gold. I himmed and hawed about buying these for months, just never really got around to it, then I burned my arm on the shelf while baking cookies and ran to the computer to order. They are AWESOME! Love them!

I bought these to replace the snap on covers I have had for years that had gotten dirty. They smelled when heated as other reviews said. When they get hot, they twist on the racks leaving hot metal exposed to burn you. At less than the five-hundred degrees, the tips melt/break off. I bought a set to give a friend for Christmas, but am too embarrassed to give them now. This design apparently has not been tried or they would realize how inferior they are to their claims.

I have sincenordered from Amazon the old style that is beige and snaps onno chance of accidentally getting burned and can use them to pull raks out and in.

I attached these to my oven racks and turned the oven on. Before the oven was completely heated, a very strong chemical odor came from the oven. It was extremely noxious. Several minutes after I removed the guards from the oven, the odor dissipated. I emailed a comment to Planit Products and was supposed to receive a reply witin 48 hours. That was 2 weeks ago and I have heard nothing. I would discourage not only the Oven Shelf Guard but also doing business with this company.

This is a BBQ that is the right size to get hot quickly, has grates that really put a heat score on the food you are cooking, has great control knobs (4)that control the heat out of the 4 burners. I have cooked Steak, Tri Tip, Pork Tenderloin, Hamburgers, Ham Steak along with all types of vegetables and all have been the best ever.

My only fear, is someone will steal it.

Recieved the grill very fast. Assembly was easy. Grill cooks great. Only issues I have is some imperfections in the paint on the lid. There are spots that appears were touched up and are corroding. Luckily they are on the back edges not too visible.....yet. Makes me wonder if these items are factory seconds!!

I've only cooked 3 meals on it so far, but I am greatly pleased at the quality and ease of assembly. I must admit a few bolts and nuts left over but I believe that's because some of it was pre-assembled in the box before delivery. Assembly instructions could have been a little better but consider it a fun challenge to guess at what the pictures mean? :>) It only got 4 stars because I don't rate anything 5 stars...

Have only had grill about one month. Grilled a steak in cold winter weather. Grill reached 600 degrees. Steak cooked perfectly (medium rare). Just what I wanted.

Grill is made out of good materials and was relatively easy to asseble.

However, the installation of the drip pan system was some what difficult and instructions were poor.

Putting the Gas tank in the grill is difficult, to say the least. The lack of an apparatus to indicate when the tank is getting empty is a major deficiency. Bought an in-line gas gauge from Sears and it didn't work. The in-line gauge also crowds the area where the tank is placed.

As delivered, one of the cooking grills was warped. Company replaced grill in 3 days.

Grill assembled easily and looked great. Fired up and at first was very pleased with it;however, after only 3 uses the started to rust and one grate even has warped causing an uneven cooking surface. Now after only 30 to 40 days with the grill (being covered the entire time) I've noticed the internal components also rusting. At this rate I doubt I get more than a year out of this grill. My last grill a 'Weber' lasted 10years plus with no issues and I'm now regretting I didn't stick with the Weber brand. Very disappointed in my purchase.

I built a propane fire table this summer and need something with a higher output than the standard bbq grill hose that you can buy at Walmart or Home Depot. This one really did the trick, The adjustable pressure allows for anywhere from a small candle light flame to a 3 foot high raging inferno. Don't think about it, buy it.

I found these stools on Overstock for $249.99 and Furniture on the Web for 234.99...could not believe the AMAZING price through Amazon. I initially thought they might be diffeent based on photos, but once I received them I recognized the detail, they were the same as the other places except I paid only $109.00 plus $28.49 for shipping...and yes there were two stools as advertised. I figured for that price there would only be one stool and the price was advertised incorrectly.They match my deep cherry cabinets perfectly, the seats are nice and big (unlike stools I've seen in retail stores),the wood appears to be good quality, and the seat is even nicer than I thought (I was hoping there would be no shine and there wasn't). My husband did have to put them together, but if you have the proper tools it's a quick job. They look high end, but in actuality cost me less than $70 each with shipping costs. I couldn't get this price anywhere. Shipping was as promised...quick...I am very satisfied with this purchase for quality with a very small pricetag!

These barstools look great and are very comfortable. The black vinyl seat is perfect for the kitchen since I won't have to worry about my boys staining any fabric with grape juice. The directions were poor (as are most directions for "some assembly required" products these days), but between me and husband we put them together easily. Didn't give 5 stars because there were some minor cosmetic defects on the wood (little dings/scratches that are really not that noticeable). Delivered on time. Overall, great value for the money. I'm very happy with the purchase and have no complaints.

Chairs are nice. Bought 4 of them all together. The directions are horrible. Hint: Don't tighten the bolts until the end when everything is assembled or the cross bars won't fit. Anyone who has done IKEA furniture can handle these. For stuff made in China these are not bad. They wobble a little bit, but for the most part are the same height and color. Materials are not bad.

I ordered two sets of this chair,one set was the wrong item and came as standard height. The correct set looks really nice when it is set up but there is one leg 1/2 inch shorter than the others so it wobbles really bad. All 4 chairs are being returned.
