This piece looks great, was easy to put together, holds lots of equipment and has very good cooling and cable managment features. However, it scratches VERY easily so you have to be VERY careful when placing the equipment on and in it. Overall I would give it a 3.5 star rating. Price Pro's did have the best price and delivery was fast!

I have been a long time Amazon customer, but I am very disappointed with the way the problem with this order was handled. The item I received was badly damaged on the top front corners the wood was smashed so badly that it looked like a pinata that had taken a hit with a ball bat. On top of that, one of the bottom supports had the hole drilled in the wrong place. After 3 hours of cleaning up debris from the disintigrated packaging and redrilling the hole for the bottom, we got this thing together. It might have looked great but instead it looked like a yard sale reject.

I called Amazon and all they would do is replace it, but I would have to disassemble, repackage in the now non-existant packaging, and deal with no tv stand over the holidays. Meanwhile, we would have to deal with another 100lb package, all while praying that it would survive shipment intact AND be correctly constructed. This was unacceptable. I would have been happy with either a replacement top or a partial refund something to compensate us for the time and trouble.

DO NOT BUY THIS FROM AMAZON! Look for one in a store pottery barn and best buy sell a similar model. It is worth the extra money to not have to go through what we did only to be left with junk.

This stand was very easy to put together for 2 adults. My brother and I had it together very quickly. You could probably do it with one person, but I imagine it would be somewhat difficult do to the overall size and weight. The stand looks great in my opinion and even though we have only had it for a few weeks now, we have received multiple compliments, some of which were even from people I would least expect.

I am very happy overall with the stand and would reccommend it.

The only note I would say is that it is darker than the picture. (more like what I would expet an espresso finish to look like)

The design of this unit is actually quite nice, but the two units I received had damage to nearly all of the components. I'm not able to recommend this to anyone on this basis alone. However, between the two I was able to mix and match parts to get something that was acceptable, but I don't feel like I received a quality product. That being said, if you're willing to put up with the quality issues, navigate the waters of Amazon's exchange program, and have some basic fix-it skills, you can end up with fairly nice piece of furniture.

First, let's start off with the good:

The cabinet is well ventilated, with several large holes in the rear of the unit, holes in the middle of the shelves, and holes on the bottom of the unit. You should have no problem with equipment overheating with the doors closed.

There are also two vertical supports in the middle of the unit that extend to the floor. These supports are recessed, so they are not visible from the front unless you are looking at it from the ground.

The shelves have pads on them, and the glass in the doors appears to be held in place with some sort of rubber like putty. I don't expect to hear any rattles with the stereo turned up.

The top and the front panels appear to be made out of actual wood, and are of reasonable quality. The weight of the top probably accounts for almost half of the weight of the entire unit... The other components are made out of laminated MDF. The MDF looks nice from a distance, but the quality is pretty lousy and I don't expect it to wear well.

The only real letdown was that the doors do not have a lower stop. If you press on the bottom of the door it will bow in somewhat.

Assembly, in an ideal world, would be easy no tools required. The vertical supports slide into slots on the front and back of the unit, locking. It was hard to get them to slide in all the way but the last quarter inch was easy after standing up the unit. The top rests on some pegs and cams the cams blend in well with the unit and can be twisted with just your hands (though a few of them were tough to lock).

If this is where the review ended, I'd give this thing 4 out of 5 starts. However, this is not where the reviews stops.

The first unit I received had substantial damage to a number of components. All four of the vertical gables had damage along the edges (the laminate material was peeling back on one of them). The bottom pieces had damage along the edges or on the surface. One of the shelves had substantial damage to the surface. One of the "slots" the vertical supports slid into was upside down (preventing the panel from sliding in). And the handle on one of the doors was bent way out of shape.

At the time I first attempted to assemble the device, I'd only noticed the damage to the four vertical gables. I contacted the manufacturer to send out replacement. Their response was that the vertical gables were more than half of the cost of the unit and instead unhelpfully suggested that I exchange it with Amazon. Amazon, to their credit, immediately shipped out a replacement unit and scheduled a pickup of the defective on at no cost to me so this really just cost me 2 weeks of waiting.

The second unit I received was nearly as bad as the first. Nearly all of the components were damaged. Two of the vertical supports were damaged along the edges, both of the shelves were damaged, the pieces along the bottom were damaged, and the handle on the same door was bent.

Between the two units, I was able to mix and match parts to get something that looked pretty respectable. I was able to hide the damage to the vertical gables along the front/interior of the unit. I was able to pull out the reversed "slot" and re-insert it in the correct direction. Two of the shelves only had damage on one side, so I was able to ensure that was the bottom side. Same with most of the bottom pieces. Finally, I swapped out the non-defective door. There are still some damaged pieces visible, but you'd be hard pressed to see them from the couch.

In the end, I'm moderately satisfied with what I ended up with, but the hassle wasn't worth it. I'm not returning it, but I wouldn't order anything made by this company again.

George Foreman GRB48B G-Broil Electric Grill with 48-Square-Inch Cooking Surface

I've used a different sized foreman grill in the past (I believe the GR10ABWI which was more square shaped) this grill is really quite rectangular, so it seems like its width is too short. However, in most cases you aren't cooking large, square pieces of food. This gets the job done and has a nice feature of being able to suspend the top part over the food (without touching it) which is good for melting cheese. What George Foreman lacks in creativity for naming his offspring, he surely makes up for by inventing such a great grill!

The G-Broil is just like the other George Foreman Grills except it has the ability to lock the top hot plate 3inches or so from the bottom. This will allow you to broil smaller stuff. I would highly recommend you get a George Foreman with removable hot plates for easy washing. Putting the entire grill in the sink (cord and all) is very awkward.

Bought this thing for $50 at Walmart.

Pros:

Easy to use.

Adjustable heat settings.

Big surface area for grilling for the whole family.

Cons:

Timer broke down on me after 3 months of use. I looked at the owner's manual and I guess I committed the cardinal sin of forcing the timer dial off. It's kind of like resetting the trip odometer in a '73 Volkswagon while the car is moving--you'll break the odometer every time. Guess what, George, there's a reason they don't make 1973 VWs anymore. The grill (and the car) have to be smarter than the idiots like me who use them.

Conclusion:

Who knew that buying a fat reducing grill from an overweight boxer could be such a mistake? Like Mike Tyson said, "Yes, time flies. And where does it leave you? Old too soon. Smart too late."

Since my old outdoor grill was recently retired, & this is not the time of the year to purchase a new one, I decided to buy this pan instead. I have to say that it does as good a job at grilling meat as my gas barbeque did. It grills vegetables & fish perfectly. Overall, I am very pleased with this item & would highly recommend it.

The pan is really non stick and is easy to clean. The way the handle is constructed it does not get as hot as other handles. Delighted to have it since we got rid of our outdoor grill! May try the other pans in the same series.

I've had this grill pan for about one month. It is light weight making it easy to handle and absolutely nothing sticks. I used it for steak, porkchops, grilled cheese sandwich, and even eggs. I have other types of non-stick pans but none hold a candle to this non-stick. If it will wear well, you have a real winner. I do wish you offered a smaller version such as 8" or 9" square grill pan. I would definately

buy a pan of that size for cooking for one or two people.

I read all the reviews on this eco friendly Cuisinart 11" grill pan and decided to purchase it. First I will say, it is a very good looking pan. I have only used it three times so far so maybe in 6 months I will have a different opinion but it is everything the manufacture claims. I have an electric smooth top stove so I was worried that it might not work for me as it isn't entirely flat on the bottom. It has grooves. Much to my surprise this pan fits perfectly on my cooktop. The handle stays cool and it grills very nicely leaving nice grill marks. Clean up is probably the best part as it cleans up beautifully without any effort. After reading other reviews, I decided not to grill on high and only have put it up to medium and medium high at the maximum. I also let it completely cool down before washing it by hand in warm soapy water with a sponge or paper towel. This pan looks brand new like it has never been used. I also took care in having the pan in drawer where it does not touch other pans as it could chip the ceramic material if other pans are stacked on top of it. I am hoping this pan continues to hold up after months of use. If it does, I will say this material that the pan is made of is the BEST INVENTION EVER. The pan is also relatively inexpensive. At less than $50, you can't go wrong.

After 4 months of use, this pan is holding up very well. Grills nicely, easy clean up, and nothing sticks. Eco friendly too. Go for it. You won't regret it.

After 7 months of use, I see that the cleanup of this pan is taking a lot more effort. It is still the best grill pan I have used on my smooth top range but you can see where the finsh is wearing off some as the middle of the pan is becoming lighter in color than the rest of the pan. I have never overheated the pan nor have I used anything abrasive on it.

Yes. It's a grill pan as advertised, and a pretty good one at that. My wife and I have a set of the GreenGormet EcoFriendly cookware, and purchased the grill pan to match. The grill pan uses the same ceramic non-stick surface and is actually fairly non-stick compared to some of the competitors aluminum cookware (Calphalon). My only gripe is that when I grill something to burn those nice parallel marks on the food, the burnt food matter is really tough to remove from the surface of the pan. Don't get me wrong, with some other pans that job would be nearly impossible. Of course, nothing compares to Teflon but who wants cancer?

I would recommend to a friend or buy another.

This broiler pan is described as being 17"x16"x1.8". In reality, it is only 13"x8-1/2"x1-1/2". Too small for my needs. I returned it. Hope they clear this up.

Despite what's said in another review, this pan is the size promised in the product guide on the buying page: 16.5 x 12.8 x 1.8 inches. The size and composition are fine. Hard to get excited about a broiler pan, but this one does the job nicely. Bottom is useful for roasting a small turkey or roast, also.

I ordered this prior to reading the reviews for some dumb reason. Once I did, I had some buyers remorse but it was too late to cancel the order. When it arrived, my wife seemed to like the chrome grill portion so we decided to keep it. Within a day or two, she put some steaks on it (too cold outside) and it did fine as you would expect any broiler to do.

Later, she cleaned it up and said she didn't really need to put it in the dishwasher because it cleaned up so well. She put it in anyway and when it came out it looked as well as when it came from the box. Two or three more uses yielded the same results. For use, she put foil in the bottom the first time and then a little water instead with subsequent uses and it cleaned with the same ease. Really can't ask more of an inexpensive broiler but give it four out of five stars because it works as it should, but doesn't stand out as perfection.

The concept is absolutely fabulous but the manufacturing is substandard.1.) For a device that is supposed to be in close proximity to a fire, its heat resistance is miserable. I was cooking a whole chicken over the old campfire this summer when the noise from the motor stopped. It turns out that the heat from the campfire melted the internal soldering that connected the power wire to the rotisserie motor. It also melted the plastic (yes plastic) battery cover right off. I had to play MacGyver and use a steak knife and some aluminum foil to fix it. 2.) Not only is the motor susceptible to heat but the batteries have a problem staying connected. The two D Cell batteries balance on top of two metal prongs which provide the positive connection point. The weight of the batteries actually bends these prongs, causing the circuit to break and the motor to shut off. I had to once again play MacGyver and use wads of aluminum foil as structural supports for the battery connectors.3.) Other areas that need improvement are the spit forks that come with the set. They are very small and only two pronged. If you want to cook a chicken, for example, you have to manually bend the spit fork prongs outward to fit in the chicken properly. I would recommend creating a bigger spit fork with more prongs. 4.) The spit itself is susceptible to corrosion in storage and is a bit on the thin side, in my opinion. So, I guess, in summary, I would say that the idea is great but the follow through needs some work. I wouldn't mind paying up to $80 a set for a campfire spit that is constructed well and takes the problems identified above into account.But, for what is out there on the market, this is the coolest thing you can buy if you want to cook caveman style when you go camping. How many people can roast whole animals over the fire without paying an arm and a leg?

This spit was really disappointing. The mechanism that turns the metal rod (where the batteries are held) is not even fire resistant! The PLASTIC MELTED and started dripping into our fire ring!! We had to remove the device and turn the meat by hand -a set up we could have put together with sticks and a metal rod. Really not worth the money AT ALL.

I have had my Grizzly Spit for years now and haven't had any problems with it! I've cooked my Thanksgiving turkey on it for the last 4 years and it's been the best turkey I've ever had. I do agree the first spit forks needed to be upgraded, but now it does comes with the 4 prong variety which is a huge improvement! I have since bought another set of spit forks so I can rotisserie 2 chickens or 2 tri-tips with no problem. As far as the motor melting, I haven't encountered that problem, maybe my fire wasn't as big or I probably had my uprights spread further apart. Overall, I would recommend this product to everybody who loves to cook outside!

This product was great, my family and i will use this time and time again. After a couple simple adjustments it worked fine. I had to raise the end away from the motor as it kept walking out of the gear, and the pie pans used to stop heat from getting to motor and gears....other than those,it work great.........I am really looking forward to using it again.

After reading a couple of the other reviews I was hesitant to purchase this rotisserie. I purchased it anyway because it was the only reasonably priced one I found. Very happy I took the risk! Used it over the 4th of July weekend Roasting a whole chicken the first night camping and a duck the second night. Both birds turned out amazing! (I definitely recommend buying a bird with the Pop Timer).

The total cook time between both uses was just shy of 7 hrs and the Grizzly Rotisserie showed no signs of wearing out the battery life. In fact, after the second use I needed the batteries for my air pump and they were like brand new.

Not getting that 5th star because I would like the Skewer to be longer and I did use a make-shift heat shield to prevent what other reviewers experienced. I just poked a hole in a pie tin (at first in the very center and then at the top for better protection)and put it on the skewer right in front of the motor.

I would give 4.5 stars though. Can't wait to use it again!
