This is a very nice little pan, with a very reasonable price (for AllClad!) though it is made in China. It is nice for reducing small amounts and for quick heating of canned goods. The bottom is rather tippy, though the handle is much thicker and more stable in the hand than most All-Clad products.

The quality not as good as the set of cookware from Emeril purchased previously, which was all clad with copper ring.

I love this grill. My husband bought this grill for me and I bought the same model for my mother. This model is easy to clean, gets very hot and is simple to use. My mother had two other grills including a George Foreman but didn't care for those because they didn't get hot enough. She's loving this grill. This model gets very hot like on a barbecue grill. I add Colgin's Liquid Smoke to steaks to give a smoky flavor like on the barbecue grill. This grill is a nice size for the counter-top and can cook two large, thick steaks at a time. We grill veggies as well as an assortment of meats on this grill. Cleanup on the non-stick surface is a snap.

Smart Planet MCM-1 Mini Cupcake Maker

Received this as a Valentine's Day gift and fired it up for the first time tonight. LOVED IT.

I made the "Just Plain Good" cupcake recipe from the book Small Batch Baking by Debby Nakos. I was tempted to try a cake mix, but I figured it would make dozens of mini-temptations to haunt me. This recipe was for 4 regular sized cupcakes it made 13 mini-cupcakes (in two batches) in the device. I used paper cups and skipped the oil/cooking spray step. They turned out perfectly! The first batch were ready after one cooking cycle (under 10 min), but the 2nd batch needed two cycles presumably because I didn't wait for the device to completely re-heat before starting the 2nd batch.

One thing I'd point out that the manual is unclear about is how to tell when the cooking cycle is over. The "ready" light turms off at the end of the cycle. It doesn't say that and I wasn't sure, so I opened it prematurely but no biggie, everything was fine.

I wish there was a supporting website where users could exchange recipes, but I'm so far delighted with this it's like a George Foreman grill for cake addicts!

I purchased this product for a project in my Marketing 3100 course. I was a little concerned with it at first, but after using it I am very pleased. The product makes seven moist mini cupcakes at a time. Because it only makes a few at a time, it does take a long time to bake a whole box of cupcake mix. If you are using this product with children DO NOT let them open the lid when the baking time is done, as a large amount of very hot steam comes out and it will cause burns. Overall a very cute product.

I agree with the posters that say this is NOT for children. It's adorable and little so people may think it is but this machine gets very hot. I made vanilla cupcakes then halfway through I added cocoa powder and peanut butter to the batter and then I made a brownie recipe and everything turned out GREAT. These cupcakes are so little they can be eaten in 2 bites. Or one lol I am very pleased with this purchase, thank you.

Heavy Large Cast Iron Reversible Stovetop Griddle

This griddle is much more generous in size than any other griddle I have found. The placement of the handles provides a good compromise of cooking surface to handle.

Since it lacks that grease channel that most other griddles have, you gain that in usable cooking surface. You don't need a lot of grease to keep foods from sticking to cast iron, particularly the griddle side. Also, other griddles have a slight slope to them for that grease to drain toward the grease well . . . which means, lopsided pancakes.

The grill side is also more evenly spaced than other griddles and makes for great panini sandwiches.

The preseasoning was acceptable, but all cast iron gets better with age and more seasoning. All in all, a great griddle/grill and great price. I use it almost daily. Only regrets are that it's not a little bigger to fit better over electric burners and that it's not an American made product.

Quality of product is very poor. Hoping that after seasoning and using over time I will have a decent griddle. This is the only griddle that actually fits on my gas stove. The size is perfect.

Nordic Ware 365 Indoor/Outdoor Campfire and Stovetop Popcorn Popper

*after several uses, this popper does not seem to be wearing well ... the non-stick coating is beginning to look damaged and it is not performing as well as it did when new ... this has turned out to be more of a disappointment over time ... so, as an addendum, I am not happy with the lack of quality with this popper and would not recommend it ... so I now rate the popper 2 stars mostly because the concept and design are good but the quality is lacking ... this degradation over time is particularly concerning since I have not used it over a campfire (one of the uses touted by the manufacturer). So if just with gentle stove top use, it degrades this quickly, I cannot imagine how dissatisfying it would be for camp use ...

Here is my slightly revised original review that was written after about 3 uses:

This popper makes good popcorn (at least when new) ... if the manufacturer would address these 3 issues, it would be better:

1) Balance: with the lid off, the handle is just slightly heavier than the cooking bowl which means it easily tips over when empty (or even when there is nothing but oil in it which is worse); this is not a problem except when it is sitting on the stove before adding the popcorn kernels ... if the cookng bowl were a few ounces heavier, that would solve the problem ... just a little extra weight in the cooking bowl bottom would do it.

2) The cover which doubles as a serving bowl is surrounded by a mesh (nice to watch the corn pop). I suppose it is intended to double as a grease screen; however, I have found that the weave is too open and grease does come through while corn is popping ... it may not be bad enough to produce a hazzard but it is concerning, especially when you are the one that gets hit with the grease ... :)

3) As I said, the cover doubles as a serving bowl, but beware. While the mesh stays cool the metal ring that connects with the cooking bowl gets very hot. To a lesser extent so does the top. So, if you plan to use it as a serving bowl, you better have a towel or something to insulate your lap or to keep it from damaging a sensitive surface. Note, the the ring gets hot enough to hurt you so be careful.

Last things:

1) This may be a no brainer, but make sure you use medium heat. Higher heat with this popper will ruin your popcorn no matter how much you shake it.

2) I did not have great success on the grill and didn't try it on the campfire (it is harder to regulate your heat in these scenarios so I think it may require some trial and error to get it down). I wound up using it on the stovetop and it makes good popcorn the above issues notwithstanding.

3) Reread the addendum note above -quality is poor and does not hold up over time ... quality of popped corn has lessened over time due to degradation in the cooking bowl and non-stick surface (very disappointing)

Not recommended.

We plan to use this over a campfire but were excited to give it a try. We used it on a gas stove. The paint scraped off the bottom from sliding it across the burner. Even with the use of oil, a burn spot developed on the non stick surface. I could not remove the spot even after soaking in soapy water over night. The mesh on the lids does not seem to be attached well and I anticipate it coming apart within a few uses. I would return it but the shipping is just too cost prohibitive. I guess cost is not always an indicator of quality. I recommend going cheaper and tossing it sooner.

Heavy-Duty Steel Wool Barbecue Grill Cleaner Pads

I was expecting the padto be larger. They work okay, but when cleaning grill grates a larger pad would be better.

I have been frustrated about the lack of durability and small fiber size of steel wool for years, until I found this product. I have been using these for regular dish scouring for about 9 month and I wouldn't buy anything else. They really have the traction I want when trying to remove burnt-on food from cast iron and forgotten rice.

Grill King 11-Piece BBQ Set

This is a great BBQ set, except it does not include a grill brush/scraper. When I realized this, I asked myself "Wha..?" It has two sets of corn holders, it has two skewers, it has a pair of tongs, it has a spatula, and of course a meat fork. But no grill brush/scraper. Hence, the 4 stars.

Everything else is built perfectly, it's all stainless steel or aluminum. It's very easy to keep clean and looks really nice. The case is a nylon zip-up sachel-style container for the tools. I've used the spatula and tongs twice two nights consecutively so far and no problems. Everything worked as it should.

On a side note, I just ended up buying a Mr. BBQ aluminum and stainless steel brush/scraper from my nearest grocery store and it matches this set perfectly. It only cost me about 2 dollars.

So, even with that being said, still a fantastic deal for the price.

This is a cheap affordable grill set for two. I can't say I was overly impressed by the quality of the tools it came with. The bag is quite small and portable when zipped up, great for taking to the park or a grill-out, however zipping it up is pretty awkward as the bag has one zipper to pretty much do the job of two.

The brush is standard hair bristles, so once you use them a handful of times that is about it. The rest of the tools are sturdy enough to use, and will probably hold together a couple of years, but if you are a heavy griller you will probably want something else.

I am content with it for what it was, a cheap, easily portable grill set so that we have something to work with. It's compact case might make it perfect for campers and light grillers, but anyone serious about grilling should probably avoid it. If it was more expensive or I was bigger into grilling, I might have given it a 3 star, but I am pretty content with it for what I expected at $10, so I give it a 4 star.

I wanted something compact and lightweight for the camper. This works perfectly. Since it's not for every day grilling, I didn't need extra sturdy. It zips right up and can be easily stored for the next camping trip. I agree with another review in that a scraper, rather than corn holders, would have been nice and certainly more useful. But, it's a great camping set.

this looks like a really great buy but it all actuality the item is in a cheap case and the items are cheaply made too. This is a time when cheaper is not better.

Could be better...as it stands this set is only good for grilling a maximum of 2-4 steaks.

If you're cooking 4 steaks do you really need 2 that say "rare"? Probably not (who orders a steak rare?). If it were up to me, I would have changed the 6 charm set to: 2-medium rare 2-medium 2-medium well

Bottom line, would be better if there were 8 charms, i.e. use the above plus add 1-rare and 1-well. Or have snap-in letters that are interchangeable. But overall, a good concept.
