I use one of these bins for the dog food and one for charcoal storage outside. The charcoal one stays outside throughout the year as I grill no matter the weather. I've only had to replace the outside one once in 8 years. That's pretty good considering the winters in the northeast. This is a great size well built storage container.

I ordered two of these containers to store guinea pig bedding (aspen wood shavings) and liked the idea of the flip top lid and the handle on the back. However, they are smaller than I expected. Specs were listed as 20"H x 10"W x 19"D. What they don't tell you is that this 20" height includes the top of the lid and riser feet on the bottom. The depth includes a very large handle. Also, if you are trying to imagine the size, the box tapers both in width and in depth. So, in short, if I was describing this item, I would average the storable dimensions to be 18"H x 7.5"W x 14"D. The box these two arrived in was huge: 39" x 22" X 16" and the kids are having fun playing in it.

I actually bought this for the waste in our our cats litter box upon the recommendation of a friend who uses it for the same thing! Really works great!

It's easy to use, and I like that I can leave it outside even in rain. One bag of Charcoal fits great in container.
