I've tried this with chicken, beef and pork and with each one the flavor is as strong or subtle as your marinade and the amount of marinade you inject.It is well made, rust proof and the stainless steel needle is rust proof. All components of this gadget can be disassembled for washing and are dish washer safe.
My chicken with lemon, garlic and rosemary was exceptionally flavorful. Much more so than rubbing on or stuffing the interior.
I am very satisfied with using this product. It really adds more boldness of flavor if that is what you're seeking.
