The cooking grids are good, slightly loose fit but work great. I have rebuilt my Brinkmann Pro 2600 4 times now in 12 years. I'm just glad I can still cook with it. The newer grills do not seem as sturdy.

The grids arrived quickly and look great. The finish is fantastic and they are heavy weight, quality replacement grids. The size is as described.

Harold Import 43202 "CAST IRON" BACON PRESS

Not really rocket science, its a bacon press. The design on the bottom really makes it stand out from all the other ones but they really all so work the same. I wish it was a little bit bigger longer though.

Great for Bacon, Burgers, or steak. I haven't tried using it as a pannini press yet but the pig design would look neat in bread.

I don't even think we've used it for bacon yet, but it's GREAT for grilled cheese, hot dogs, sandwiches that need a little weight, etc.

Had aslways wanted one and found this one online. Works very well but it would be better if it were larger. it doesn't even cover two full size strips of bacon until they have been cooking for awhile.

Taylor Oven Guide Thermometer

The temperature readings were spot on.

There are multiple ways to display it, hang it from the shelves in your oven, place it on the bottom of your oven. it's very stable, doesn't fall over, mostly because of it's 4 inch length.

BUT... as with all things in the oven, this will become splattered with grease, and harder to read, and you'll want to wash it....DON'T!

any type of cleaning, be it abrasive , or chemical, such as Simple Green, will erase the temperature markings... and make it useless.

The temperature markings on this thermometer are not protected! Over time the markings get occluded by grease and if you try to wash the grease off the markings come with it. This means the thermometer has a short life span for people who rely on the markings for anything (which granted is not everyone). Last time I buy an oven thermometer in which the markings don't sit behind a glass face!.

I bought one of these at the recommendation of a well-known cooking magazine (in which they tested it along with a very advanced temperature sensor), and it took top honors amongst a dozen other models. I've found it to be extremely helpful, easy to read, and a very stable design. Others I have used have proven far to easy to knock over!

Ok... oven not seeming to be hot enough... bought an oven thermometer at Kroger's.. not expensive. Well, that purchase didn't seem to heat up as much as the oven..

Went to William and Sonoma and bought the Taylor 503, much more expensive. So it should really be good, right? That thermometer seemed to be so, so slow in reaction. And thanks to the position of my oven light.. I couldn't even read it.

Went to Amazon and got an overnight delivery of the Taylor Oven Guide Thermometer. ( don't add all of this up...three thermometers.. it's ridiculous)Bottom line... this one was perfect for me. As far as complaints of grease and cleaning and losing lettering?? I take it out before I put the item in to bake. (Hint..use tongs to remove it as it is HOT. If you use mitts or hot pads.. I guarantee you.. you will drop it.)

I just received my Taylor Oven Guide Thermometer. I wanted an accurate thermometer to check/verify various temperature settings in our 36" Wolf Gas oven.

The thermometer itself is simple and appears to be high quality. Upon checking the thermometer out further I noticed that the glass thermometer rod slides back and forth, left and right, on the stainless steel holder, thus accuracy goes right out the window perhaps by as much as + or 15 degrees. What I did to correct this was hold the blue bulb end of the thermometer in boiling water and made adjustments until the blue line and the metal scale on the thermometer were aligned exactly at 212 degrees F (the boiling point of water). Next, without moving the glass rod, I locked it in place on the stainless steel scale with small dabs of high temp gasket cement on each end where the small rivets and holding bands are located.

Taylor Products: If you are reading this please make a note that the Taylor Oven Guide Thermometer has a manufacturing/design defect. The Taylor Oven Guide Thermometer with shipping was fairly expensive. The customer should not be expected to have to calibrate and then cement the glass tube to prevent sliding or back and forth movement in this type of thermometer.

If this thermometer came calibrated +/.5 degrees and locked in I'd given it 5 stars.

I purchased this fire pit to take along in our RV and its size was small enough to fit in the storage area below the motorhome. When we first put it together, it seemed very small but we went ahead and used it. It holds a couple of wood logs and it does do the job (our grandkids had their smores!). I would recommend this fire pit if you travel with it and want to store it in limited space. It is also convenient that it folds flat. The price is a bit high, but it does look like it is made well and it should last a long time. We are happy with this purchase.

I bought this fire pit to take with me on my RV trips. First of all, it folds up nicely inside a nylon bag that holds everything. The legs fold out and lock for a sturdy feel. It has a nice screen top to contain any sparks. It is made to also use as a grill but I don't plan on cooking on it. I just want to use it for ambiance reasons. It was easy to clean after use. This is a nice portable fire pit that can be used as a grill or just to sit around and enjoy the flames of a nice fire.

We took this fire pit to a recent camping trip in the mountains. Comparing to the size of typical fire logs you can purchase, this fire pit was relatively small but not too small to ruin the experience. Our conventional fire logs of size about 22" x 4" couldn't completely fit inside the bowl, which made us think about being creative and supporting the top two logs with another smaller one that sat under them. This is why I gave it a four out of five stars: after the first round of fire, the bottom grid holding the support log was bent downward, due to the heat and the weight of the logs. While not a big deal, it would be nice if the grids were of better quality and thicker material.

The quality is on the better side of typical products out there however it's not the best. The folding legs are well-designed and stable with three spring pull-out pins that makes setting this thing up a breeze. The bottom of the pit and the edge are about 8" and 15" above the ground respectively so there is a maximum of 7" more or less inside the pit to play with. However the distance between the bottom grid -sitting on the bottom of the bowl to hold the logs -and the top grid -sitting slightly inside the bowl as well for grilling -is a bit on the smaller size (about 3") so there is almost no way you can grill something with some quality logs still burning. However after an hour or so of enjoying the fire, we managed to fit the grill on top of the remaining charred wood and boil some water for a nice round of hot tea. The top lid is hard to fit when there are logs in the pit.

The bottom line is that considering the price, the quality, and the portability, this is a very good fire pit for 2 to 4 people. Make sure you cut your logs into smaller pieces to maximize your experience.

I was concerned when I first got these because there was a little tag attached saying they only work up to 200 degrees. But I have used these for everything from cookie sheets to heavy casserole dishes all coming out of the oven very hot and they work like a charm. Also they are not bulky like so many other mitts..they are very lightweight and fit well. I would definitely recommend these mitts.

I thought this was for a grill and my boyfriend almost burnt his hand off using this on the grill. We use it for the oven when we could use just a regular mitt.

If you add the hanger in the measurement it add up to 14 inches. Not as advertised.In addition,this glove is not of the quality that I expected. It was much thinner that I expected. I might as well use the worn out ones that I was trying to replace. I orderded 4 gloves with the free shipping and the order was split into 2 orders with shipping on both shipments. I was not happy with this transcation at all.
