He cleaned all three of our oven racks in 1 bag. He did shake it fairly often and instead of leaving it in the bag 8 hours, he left them in about 24 (not sure why). But now my oven looks like it did the day we got it and I couldn't be more thrilled!
I highly recommend this oven rack cleaner!

I hate cleaning racks in our self-cleaning oven. They must be cleaned separately and since we broil meat in our oven the racks are plenty messed up. I am, by nature, a pessimist and I did not believe that Carbona would work. Imagine my surprise when after an overnight soak they were as clean as if they were new. Only a little scraping was necessary where months and months of cooking had turned the grease to varnish.Read Best Reviews of Oven Rack Cleaner 3 Pack Here
My range (Maytag Gemini) has two ovens a smaller, single rack upper oven and a larger, double-rack, lower one. I usually clean the racks by soaking them for several hours in the bathtub with ammonia and water, rinsing them, changing the water and then dissolving a couple of dishwasher gel packs in the fresh water and soaking them overnight. It does a fair job, but tends to scratch the tub and also ties up use of the tub for quite a while. The ad for this product sounded optimistic, so I gave it a try.
I followed the instructions carefully and put all three racks in the bag, poured in the solution and left it overnight. I took out the smaller oven rack, which wasn't all that dirty to start with, and it had cleaned up fairly well. No one would mistake it for a new rack, though. The two other racks were still visibly dirty, so I left them overnight again. I just rinsed them and could see very little change from the way they started out. I scrubbed the racks with a Scotch-brite sponge and still couldn't remove some of the baked on grease.
Back to the bathtub.
Save your money this stuff doesn't work.

I was skeptical about this when I saw it on the supermarket shelf. I was actually looking to buy one of those spray cleaners and saw this for the racks. I figured I'd give it a shot, and like the box said, my racks look brand new. I hadn't cleaned them at all since 2006 (I know, I know...ick!) and after years of spills, I was finally disgusted enough to get them clean. I honestly did not expect them to get so clean. I thought the bag would break, but it didn't and I had 2 full-sized oven racks in there. I decided to have them rest for the 8 hours in my bath tub just in case there was spillage, but the bag helf up very well. So, overall I'd recommend this product to anyone.Pros:
*cleans years of grease off very easily
*returned my oven racks to "new"
*I did not have to get my hands dirty at all
*very minimal scrubbing to wash off any remainder of grease, but it came off easily
*the cleaner did not seem to me to have any harsh fumes at all, but then again, I didn't come in contact with it for long just to pour it into the bag and close the bag.
*Excellent price for what you get and what the product does
Cons:
*It's annoying that it takes 8 hours to get it clean, but I rather have that then to do the work myself which would take as long and have worse results
*Because my racks slant up at the edge, they didn't sit flat in the solution. I had to go and shake up the bag to make sure the solution kept coating the racks, but I did this maybe 2 or 3 times through the entire process
*I didn't know if the plastic bag was recyclable afterwards or not; I ended up throwing it away because it came into contact with the cleaner, but I wish there was a way to recycle it (or if it can be recycled, it should be clearly labeled)
