This worked great for a couple months, and then one by one the wires connecting the probes to the thermometer shorted out. I was so satisfied with mine for the first month that I purchased one form my dad as well. About a year later all eight of the probes we had between the two of us are no longer functioning. The thermometer works great, but it is just a paper weight without the probes.
