Kingsford Texas Silicone Sop Mop with Removable Head

This is a pretty simple tool and since it's BBQ everyone has their opinions about what is best. I hunted this one down because I prefer a mop to a brush and the fiber ones are not easy to clean. I have used it a few times now and I like this one. The silicone strands are beaded to hold more sauce and when I am done, I throw it in the dishwasher and it comes out like new. The ead screws off if you just want to wash that. If you are a big time BBQ person it is probably smaller then you you would like, but for family cookouts it works fine. The handle and head is plastic, a plus for the dishwasher, but not as aesthetic for a true pitmaster.

I bought this for my father-in-law because he loves to barbecue and my mother-in-law threw his old mop out because she said it looked dirty. I dunno if he's had a chance to use it yet because of the weather, but I assume she won't have to toss this one.

Works as advertised. As many reviewers mention, best for a "thicker" sauce; any straight liquid mop sauce would be best applied with a spray bottle or regular wood and cotton mop. Doesn't have to be a really thick sauce for this to work, mind you; if it can somewhat coat the back of a spoon, you can use this on your meat.

My mop head fell apart after a year, and I only used it about six times at most. Poor workmanship.
