I've now used this for brisket and pork shoulder. I cooked brisket before on my kamado and it was good, but not perfect. With this controller it was, without question, perfect. The biggest smoke ring I've ever seen. Just set the temperature and go play golf, take a nap or whatever you like. Come back in 12-14 hours and you are all set. Wonderful product.
This is a well made and designed product. Works very well and simple to use. Purchased at a good price and got great shipping as always. I'd certainly buy another one for other my other smokers!
