The mitts are supposed to be made with more advanced materials that keep heat from transmitting through them so quickly. I was disappointed. These did not work as well as my 30 year old mitts.I can barely get from the oven to the counter before I feel that my hands are getting too hot. I wish my old ones had not been worn out. I don't like these.
