Very useful tongs open wide enough, close easily enough, securely hold a large piece of food. The wood keeps them cool to use. The triangular hanger at the hinge locks the tongs closed when pulled out.
16" long not counting hanger, food grippers are 2" wide and 4"long.
The product started out working well. After a few months of use, one of the wooden grips fell off. The tongs themselves are a little flimsy and flex enough to drop food. Disappointing.

These tongs fail to hold onto food and thus fail as BBQ tongs. They also have a very sharp edge as the slice in my finger proves. FAIL
