This grille cycles on and off gets to temperature quickly and then cycles off. I kept track of the time it was "off" and it was 1 minute, 7 seconds. By that time, the food had cooled and was not cooking properly. I already returned one of these thinking it was defective, but the replacement does the same thing. Not a good purchase for me.

this really is well worth the money. i can cook a whole pound of bacon on this griddle. with my old one i had to cook half a pound at a time. i like the drip tray as it attaches securly and does not slide off. it cooks food perfect. you dont want a griddle that stays on the whole time at one setting as it will cook the food too fast. so i like the delay in between because the food cooks nicely.
