I have a set of Tupperware hamburger freezer containers that I have had for 30 years-still going strong but I wanted to double my capacity. I did so, but not in the way I expected. These are much larger than the old original containers and are great if you like to make 1/2 lbs. burgers, but I don't. I can use them by only filling them half-way, but because they are of a much larger diameter than my old ones, if I make 1/4 burgers they are rather flat. It never occurred to me to measure the diameter of the original containers and check to see if the size had changed over the years. Unfortunately, it has-like so many things in the food arena, these containers have been "super-sized".
