The Kitchener Triple Basket Deep Fryer is beautiful just to look at. However 10 to 15 mph winds play havoc with the gas burners. Oklahoma on a calm day has 10 to 20 mph winds, A simple mod for a wind deflector fixed the flame problem. The unit is sturdy and a joy to operate. The twin oil cookers hold over 5 gal of oil, and that is plenty for a back yard fish fry. We cooked french fry's, hush puppies, and catfish at the same time thanks to the three basket design. For the money its well worth it. Should give years of service if properly maintanrd and protected.

We used this for our BBQ concessions for a recent event and it performed well above and beyond our expectations. We will be making some modifications: (1) will be a wind break and (2) will be a lid. It began to rain in the middle of the event. Rain and hot oil do NOT mix, but for every other need, this was a excellent product.
