This mat has a felt top and every piece of grass, leaf and bird feather sticks to it. Always dirty looking and impossible to clean. It does protect the patio and stays in one spot with the rubber like back. A hot grill lid melts the mat but no flames. Also lite weight and easy to move. I have not tried the vaccum yet but that is coming. It is also a low cost mat.
